Reading is my escapism. But I've just realised I literally escape into worlds which aren't that different from my own. Maybe it's just the thought that another woman is going through the same things as me that I find comforting.

It's either that or I go for a dark and twisty Thriller. There is no in-between.

Hmm perhaps I should try reading something fantasy?

You know what's really funny about my mum spelling my name wrong on my birth cert is for years she would say it only happened bc 1. she was really sick after she gave birth to me and 2. my dad wasn't there when I was born and he's the one that choose the name well a few years ago I found my red book a medical thing that keeps track of your child's doctor visits vaccines and early milestones and at the top of each page you write your child's name etc and im not lying when I say not only was my name not spelt right on a single page but it wasn't even written the same way twice which imo is a feat in itself

ok so this is Extremely specific but it's the middle of the night and i can't stop thinking about it: anyone who was/is involved in the les mis fandom, did i hallucinate the enjolras cosplayer who made a fan novel and also a fan film and then later was exposed for cheating on his partner, divorcing them and abandoning his child with cancer to go and become a jewish lawyer or was that something that actually happened

What I read in March 2023

March was a little bit of a tough month for me reading wise. I had some goals of at least a book a week with the hopes of being more like 2 books a week and really I think I did well in the speed I read. I was averaging at 1 books a weekend! The problem was the weekdays. I had every intention to read as much as I could during the days, but with a baby and the school routine I just ran out of…
