Music Monday:
Nautilus or Nice (Natalie's Theme)
From TyrannoMax: The Motion picture. Sadly little of it got used in the final picture, with most of the screen time featuring the heavier early 90s industrial-techno soundtrack.

Pixar did not have to go as hard as they did with the Kronos Unveiled scene in The Incredibles (2004), yet they did anyway and gave us one of the best scenes in modern cinema. Literally cannot stop thinking about how good this scene is, from the animation to the build up to the soundtrack.
I don’t think I truly understood how dark this scene - and this film - was a child: Syndrome is systematically and strategically luring in superheroes and killing them off in order to test and improve his Omnidroid design… these people were not only supers but they also had family and loved ones too, just like Bob, and one day they would have just disappeared because chances are they weren’t telling people where they were going because it was "top secret" and against the law. They thought they were doing something good, like helping the people in the island, while also getting to relive their glory days, perhaps even paving the way for superheroes to make a proper comeback… only for Syndrome to kill them in cold blood.
Most of these people can actually be seen at Bob and Helen’s wedding in the beginning of the film - they weren’t just random supers, they were their friends, people they worked alongside and cared about. It’s even worse when you realise that Bob probably blames himself because, after all, Buddy/Syndrome was his biggest fan and he dismissed him by not letting him help.
The relief on Bob’s face when he realises Syndrome doesn’t know where Helen is - meaning he also doesn’t know where their children are because he didn’t realise they were married at this point - is so realistic and gut wrenching to see. The relief contrasting with the anguish of knowing how much danger they and their entire family could have been in the entire time without even knowing...it's so well-done, you can literally feel it.
It’s also worth noting that originally the next target wasn’t Mr Incredible but Frozone - that was who Mirage was trailing, hence why his location is “known”. Imagine if she/Syndrome hadn’t realised that Mr Incredible was with him and they’d lured Frozone in instead as planned; he would have gone to the island to fight the Omnidroid 8 in a volcano setting. We saw how being in the burning building dehydrated Frozone and made it impossible to use his ice powers - presumably it would have been the same in the middle of a lava filled volcano, and he’d have been slaughtered just like the other superheroes before him.
This scene shows an entire generation of superheroes - Bob, Helen and Lucius generation - wiped out all because Syndrome felt slighted by his hero as a child, because he internalised that slight and let it drive him to revenge. And, if we take into account the deleted alternate opening scene, it’s mentioned that superheroes "aren't supposed to breed” - meaning there’s a likelihood that Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack are among the very few supers of the next generation. I know that it's deleted and so not really canon, but it's definitely a concept to consider, I think.
Then there's the fact Syndrome named the project "Kronos" - Kronos was a God who overthrew his own father in order to take over his rule, and then he ate his own children to prevent them doing the same thing to him. It feels like it reflects Syndrome once looking up to Mr Incredible and even saying "I could be your ward!", meaning Mr Incredible adopting or fostering him - the project name is a metaphor for Syndrome destroying the Supers, especially Mr Incredible, who he viewed as a father figure. The Omnidroids he built killed two birds with one stone: not only was he able to acquire the data to upgrade the robot to its final design, but it also eliminated the real super heroes and so left him as the last remaining "superhero", even though his powers are man-made, not something he was born with.
Not only did he want to become the only remaining superhero by killing the real ones in revenge, he also planned to sell his inventions at some point so everyone can be super - because "when everyone is super, nobody is". It's like a final blow to the memory of the superheroes he had killed.
I've talked too much about this scene but God... I love it so much more as an adult because it's just so chilling to think about. I'm sure other people can put it much more articulately than I just tried to, but I just really wanted to appreciate this scene.

thing I noticed about the music!
i had a weird thing constantly in the back of my head while I binged 9-1-1 over the past few days. and that was the music.
(and i mean the score, not the soundtrack. soundtrack is a whole other can of worms)
this is network television. the score isn't anything super special or standout, but it's alright. it was composed by Mac Quayle, who I know from Mr. Robot, and Todd Haberman. unfortunately, it's unreleased, meaning I can't point to names of specific pieces but they reuse a lot of motifs so they're pretty recognizable to any fans of the show.
and, being me, who has a spotify playlist with over 500 pieces of music from various movies, tv shows and games, and an ear for this stuff, there is one thing that stood out.
like i said there's recognizable motifs. the tense actiony one that plays during a call, the goofy one with what sounds like a washboard (? i may be so wrong here) that plays whenever they're bantering in the firehouse or something comedic happens. the soft piano that plays whenever there's a quiet emotional moment between two characters (which i affectionately started calling the "911 feelings music" in my head). but the thing that really got to me, that was sitting in the back of my head for the whole time I was watching,
Buck and Tommy's theme is new.
at least as far as I could tell! I started this show because I rewatched their kiss scene like 80 times, I have that shit memorized at this point. and when I started picking up that they reuse a lot of their pieces, I started listening specifically for the floaty piano and guitar piece that plays right after the BuckTommy kiss. it's not super unique or distinctive from every other piece of score used in the show, but I never heard it in any other moment, so I'm pretty sure it's brand new for them!
and that just makes me so happy that I felt like I had to share.
#i need someone with audio engineering skills to isolate it from the scene of the episode and put it on youtube pls#i want to listen to it on REPEAT#911 abc#911 show#911#9-1-1#evan buckley#bucktommy#tommy kinard#911 evan buckley#911 fandom

I just listened to the Peach Pit for Episode 4, and when Matt first started about how He personally felt towards Trudy and subsequently other Robot/AI/Manufactured characters I was a bit surprised and also slightly irritated by how strong his stance was on it, but that's a me thing.
And then he brought up that Black Mirror episode, and he makes a fair point (As far as I'm aware, as I've never watched it.)
It reminded of the Clockmaker's Daughter Musical (Spoilers ahead, PLEASE LISTEN TO THE SOUNDTRACK), Where a Clockmaker who loses his Wife and Child build himself a new daughter, and to keep her safe from the outside world, he does his best to make sure she's always hidden.
When he does this it's bad, it's mean - She's unhappy being locked away, she's curious, she wants more than the view outside a window.
The Clockmaker Loves her, truly loves her, wants her safe, but in that way, his love is abusive, the Daughter literally asking "How can a man with such Passion Kill his Compassion?" at some point.
Who can blame the man for wanting his daughter back? Who can blame him for wanting to keep her safe?
Who can blame the Daughter for leaving her prison? Who can blame her for her curiosity and defiance?
I think that's Trudy's deal - Tucker wants his Trudy, likely one that passed away years ago - He sounds truly hurt and somewhat heartbroken at lying and "killing" our Trudy, I do think there is love on some level at some amount, despite his neglect - but He can never get it just right (Or perhaps he's simply wrong about the OG Trudy) and so he makes another, and another, always Vying for something he lost and can never truly replace (And doesn't want trudy spending time with people that may get her hurt - they'll see her true self and get rid of her.)
and Trudy Alpha, broken and discarded, wants to look and act like "Her" they'll all be perfect, they'll be "Her" the 'real' Trudy, one the Tucker is so desperate for.
Tucker is Desperate for his love back, and wants her to be somewhat safe - after all, Why would there be so many Trudy's if NOT trial-and-error to get the "Right" one? And if he just needs someone to do the housework - Why bother making them "Live?" Why not make just a robot to do the chores?
while Trudy, meant to act like a person, WANTS something outside of her Family unit, she WANTS to spend time with Gutteral Scream, She's not fulfilled by raising the children and doing the housework - which is something that most woman have seemingly have felt, especially in a time like the 50's, with Beth mentioning the regression of the view of woman in the time period.
Which brings me back to my original point.
Can you blame someone for wanting companionship so bad they make it, and can anyone blame those companions for wanting more than their relationship with their creators?
and also Matt Arnold losing sympathy for machines is something I personally cannot understand even if it makes logical sense.
Is that like a Neurodivergence thing? Caring about Manufactured characters that because they don't quite understand what it means to be Human (Normal) and are often earnest and somewhat naive, and usually learn to fear showing their true selves (When they stop Masking) because if they don't pretend to be Human they get ostracized?
Or is it because I grew up with the like of The Brave Little Toaster, and Toy Story, and Wall-E?
Is it both?
It's Probably both.
Mr. Arnold, I can't say I understand, but I will try not to judge you for it.

ok finished utopia uk. many mixed feelings about season 2, mainly about the quality of the writing. obviously the show never got finished so there's a chance that it could have all come together if the story had wrapped up, but so much of the middle of season two felt very written off the seat of their pants. meandering? throwing spaghetti at the wall. sooo many new characters introduced and discarded, so many main characters extremely underutilized, so many main characters playing reactionary roles rather than active ones. even though it's trying to be, for a lack of a better way to put it, hardcore with all the onscreen violence we see, it was difficult for me to take it seriously and i can't quite put my finger on why... season 2 felt VERY underbaked under the shiny surface (the gorgeous, visually stunning surface) so the themes of "do the ends justify the means or perhaps killing people... bad?" felt really stretched thin in a way that makes everything cartoonish if you so much as stop for a second to think about the logistics. which is fine, many great shows have asked for that level of suspension of disbelief, but what annoyed me about it is that it kept introducing high stakes situations (we have to find this one guy we know absolutely nothing about!) and resolving them frictionlessly in the same episode. also the "just kidding, the interesting, non-violent genocide is out, an actually straightforward violent genocide is IN" twist was really emotionally anticlimactic. to me. very that "satan's scarier older brother's friend's neighbor" vibe that people make fun of supernatural for. you get the feeling that the writers have a kind of childish morality underpinning the entire premise that robs the concept of all of the philosophical nuance it could have. i desperately wish i cared more about becky and ian but s2 felt like they were the main characters merely out of obligation. oh christ alive there's a 7 (seven. seven?!) hour video essay with millions of views on youtube i guess i'm watching that. anyway i love jessica and pietre with all of my heart wish i could pick them out of the narrative and like, actually develop their personalities. hilariously i now feel like rewatching mr robot because at least those characters did feel like real people who are not just puppets without lives when they are off-screen. sorry that's really mean to reiterate i REALLY liked the show fgjkdfgjkgjkdgkjdgkjdfgkjfdgjgdfdfgdj if i didn't i wouldn't be so frustrated with its shortcomings. also the soundtrack fucks tremendously. it has got to be said

Behind the fic ‘A thousand Degrees’
Click here if you would like to read before getting a look on my thought process!
I find it interesting that humanity has grown rapidly over just a few hundred years. Back then, blacksmiths were influential and essential to the economy.
Inspiration: Writing the story, I was primarily inspired by the Fontaine soundtrack from Genshin Impact. I learned that the region was centered around the Industrial Revolution in France, which is why you might see steampunk-themed ideas throughout the town, like the robots (Coppelia and Coppelius) and the underwater towers. Although Nanami didn’t swim underwater, hold his breath for an ungodly amount of time, or receive a divine gift of hydro resonance, I enjoyed the direction I took the original premise in… Plus, I really just love the Fontaine soundtrack.
Likeness capture: If you read part one, I attempted to capture Nanami’s personality and morals in this unique way, combining a couple of headcanons together to make one. His tea garden is filled with osmanthus and jasmine flowers. He also started helping others with making financial decisions, a nod to his ex-salaryman character!
Descriptions: Clothing wise overall, I’m seeing a trend of… overalls, white long sleeved shirts, a brown or black hat. Muted colors. ← This one stood out to me the most as a steampunk blacksmith. A mixture of orange and brown tones with a flashy top hat to match.
Overall, I do recognize that ‘Kento Nanami as a Blacksmith’ isn’t the most original idea thanks to the wonderful Mrs. Haitch but I've taken my own spin on this prompt. Fan-fictions are a creative outlet for me and I’m just starting to be brave enough to post them online. I do not think anyone can ‘own’ a writing prompt. It’s why character x reader and all of your favorite tropes exist.
As this is my second ever fanfic, I’m always looking for feedback and improvements that could be made. If you have any ideas for the sequels to come, please let me know in the ask me anything’ box on my page. (I haven’t started part two yet so please give me ideas!) If you want to collaborate and co-write with me, I’m always available.
Once again: Click here if you would like to read ‘A thousand degrees’ part one.
Thank you for reading!

Winter 2024 Anime Roundup
Anime of the Season – The Apothecary Diaries
I’ve been hearing about this series since Raven of the Inner Palace aired a while back, and the fans spoke so highly of it that I was dubious of anything living up to the expectations they’d set. Luckily for me, they weren’t exaggerating one bit, and the anime adaptation delivered a story that had me itching to watch the next installment as soon as the episode ended each week.
The story opens with Maomao getting abducted and sent to work in the imperial palace, where she intends to keep her head down and just quietly do her work in the inner palace, only to find a little matter involving poison she can’t resist poking her nose into, leading a powerful young man in the palace to take notice of her. Throughout the story, her desire to mind her business and not get tied up in palace affairs wars with her absolutely insatiable curiosity wherever drugs or poisons are involved, and it leads her in and out of a series of mysteries involving the residents of the palace, changing the course of her life. It was an absolute treat to watch her and Jinshi dance around each other, as Maomao wants nothing to do with the beautiful man all the women fawn over, and he finds her lack of interest in him irresistible, and seeing the way all the seemingly unrelated mysteries built towards a larger conspiracy was immensely satisfying. When you combine all this with an equally colorful supporting cast, a gorgeous color palette, excellent background art, and solid animation, you get the sort of anime you feel lucky to get to watch. 9/10
First Runner-Up – Brave Bang Bravern!
Equal parts sincere and farcical, this series takes all the tropes and homoeroticism of mecha anime and dials them to eleven. It boasts some of the best 3D mecha animation I’ve seen, a star-studded voice cast, and a story with the perfect mix of comedy and action. If you’ve ever clapped your hands and cheered for an over the top robot fight, this is the show for you. 9/10
Second Runner-Up – Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
The entire series is beautifully drawn and animated, with a perfect soundtrack and voice cast to match, and it takes a fantastic, heartfelt story about valuing the connections you make with others and elevates it to another level. A poorly paced exam arc in the second half that takes the focus off the main trio dampened my enjoyment somewhat, but it easily would’ve been my anime of the season in most seasons. 8/10
The Dangers in My Heart S2 – Kyotarou and Anna keep getting closer and closer over the course of this season, and the way they timed the emotional high of each episode to the soundtrack and the title card has me ready to swoon the moment I see the word “karte” written in white on a black screen. A nicely produced romance about a middle school boy and girl pushing each other to be their best selves that I’m really glad I watched. 8/10
Kingdom S5 – Xin and his Fei Xin force are under the command of the ruthless general Huan Yi in this arc, and they rediscover how merciless and inhumane war is as they fight a battle in Zhao territory as part of Qin’s effort to unify China. Xin’s voice actor completely knocks it out of the park here, delivering several emotional speeches with the perfect amount of gravitas. 8/10
7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! – I knew when the female lead leapt off a balcony in front of the male lead after being jilted by her fiancé and he immediately fell in love with her that I was in for a good time, and it never let me down. Rishe’s constant scheming that drew on things she learned in her six previous lives, and Prince Arnold’s mix of bewilderment and affection for his unpredictable fiancée, made this one of the best fantasy romance series in years. 8/10
Mr. Villain’s Day Off – The premise of a general in the evil organization fighting the rangers for control of Earth strictly avoiding work on his day off sounds like the setup for a sit-com, but the story it actually settles in to tell is one that quietly highlights the beauty and comfort found in the ephemeral moments of daily life. A relaxing slice of life series that was the perfect capstone to my Sunday evenings this season. 7/10
A Sign of Affection – I have some nitpicks about some adaptation decisions in the anime that made the female lead appear less disabled than she is in the manga, but, on the whole, this was a lovely shoujo romance about a group of young adults doing their best to forge their own path in the world, with some nice production values. 7/10
Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! – If you can look past the wild title and premise, and you don’t mind some inconsistent character models or animation, there’s a nice workplace romance in here centered on a group of grown men talking things out and supporting each other as they navigate their messy feelings. (It’s not as funny as the manga is, though.) 7/10
Sengoku Youko – It took me a few episodes to warm up to this historical set fantasy adventure, but once the story got going, with a solid mix of strong character development and the occasional emotional punch to the gut, I was all in. The character designs are unique and expressive, the action is nicely choreographed and animated, and the voice actors really put their backs into some of the more intense moments. 7/10
Undead Unluck – The pacing was a bit of a problem, with some incredibly long recap segments in episodes in the second half, but the chemistry between the two leads – a man who can’t die and a young woman who causes life threatening bad luck to anyone who touches her – made this action series about fighting to stop the apocalypse a really fun time. 7/10
The Witch and the Beast – If you’re like me, and you go weak in the knees for a chain smoking man with bedroom eyes in a long coat, and a messy woman who might get you both arrested when you go out drinking, then this supernatural themed noir is the show for you. Production values are inconsistent over its run, but the writing and voice acting are solid throughout. 7/10
The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic – A boy getting isekaied by accident when his classmates are summoned to be heroes in another world could easily have been the start of yet another story about an aggrieved loner making it big as an overpowered hero in a fantasy world, but it thankfully subverted expectations and delivered an isekai adventure with a bit of heart and a cast of likeable characters. 7/10
The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil – What appeared to be a gimmicky battle of wits love comedy in the beginning turned into a solid forbidden romance between a demon and an angel with genuinely good chemistry between them. The two leads were easy to root for as they caught feelings for each other while fighting their way through the ridiculous situations they kept landing in. 7/10
The Demon Prince of Momochi House – This is a neither good nor bad anime about a teenage girl inheriting an old house in the woods that serves as a gateway between reality and the spiritual world, and moving in with the mysterious teenage boy and his ayakashi attendants who protect it. The characters are likeable, and the romance is pleasantly cheesy like an otome game, but the rushed pace of the relationship development and the quickly resolved yokai cases just feel like they adapted more manga than the runtime supported. 6/10
Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I’m Not the Demon Lord – Deadpan, autistic-coded Yumiella is a ton of fun as the OP main character in this otome isekai, and she and her love interest make a great couple, but the level grinding wasn’t exciting enough, and the jokes weren’t funny enough to overcome the poor visuals. 6/10
Bucchigiri?! – Hiroko Utsumi directing an original anime mixing old school delinquents with Aladdin and the Lamp sounded like it could be a rollicking fun romp in the style of her previous original, Sk8, but pacing issues led to a repetitive first half, the main character was deeply unlikable, and the rushed ending felt unsatisfying. The art and animation were generally quite good, with some great fight scenes, but the writing needed to be better. 6/10
Solo Leveling – The series is very well produced, with exciting action scenes set to a lively soundtrack, but any time I started to relax and enjoy some nicely animated fights, the main character would come out with some eye-rolling, angsty teen speech about the strong preying on the weak, and it just wasn’t for me. 6/10
Shangri-La Frontier – There’s little to criticize in the production of this VR MMO themed action series. The voice actors gave great performances, the monster fights are well animated, and the art has a distinctive feel to it. Unfortunately, the story just never really grabbed me, the stalker girl really annoyed me whenever she appeared, and the extras at the beginning and end of most episodes felt like padding. 6/10
My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me! – An unusual teenage boy with the ability to instantly kill anyone by just thinking about it gets sent to another world with a bus full of his classmates, and the ensuing adventure kept me entertained the whole time, but I can’t quite call it good. The manzai comedy dynamic between the male and female lead was a fair bit of fun as they traveled across the land, poking fun at common isekai tropes. 6/10
Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga – I remember really enjoying the first two seasons of this series, and I still love the characters, but this season just never clicked right for me. The opening arc felt rushed through, and the main arc had a cartoonish buffoon of a villain that completely undercut the horror of the story. It wasn’t a chore to watch or anything, but it could have been better. 6/10
Metallic Rouge – Like many others, I had high hopes for this original sci-fi series Bones put out as an anniversary project, but despite the generally solid visuals, the poor writing drags the whole show down, making this one of the biggest disappointments of the season. The incoherent plot fails to come to a point, the dialog is a terrible mix of forced quirkiness and tedious monologuing, and the characters are largely one-note and undeveloped. 6/10
Sasaki and Peeps – The hour-long premiere episode suggested this story about a middle aged salaryman who discovers his new pet bird is a reincarnated wizard from another world might be a fun take on the isekai genre, but the end product felt more like someone playing with their dolls than crafting a coherent story. It continually introduced new characters and new tropes all the way through to the last minute without tying anything together. 5/10
The Fire Hunter S2 – On the one hand, I appreciate how different it is from other series, with unusual character designs and an imaginative fantasy story that isn’t an amalgamation of light novel conventions. On the other hand, though, the production is incredibly rough, and the plot got increasingly hard to follow, making this a bit of a slog by the end. 5/10
Fluffy Paradise – I was basically on board in the first half to two-thirds of the series, when it seemed like a harmless little reincarnation isekai about a girl collecting animal and monster friends, but it completely lost me when it broke out the reservation camps and dead bodies in the last arc. Just a poorly written show that misunderstood its appeal. 5/10

@1995lahaine tagged me to post 8 shows to get to know me 🤔 I'm only going to do shows that have ended which I think are worth revisiting. tagging @akajustmerry @anthonysperkins @summoneryuna @sonyarebecchi @toraks @a24thegreenknight @holly-mckenzie
Utopia (2013-2014) created by dennis kelly. beauty is terror we quiver before it etc etc oh this show is so violent and beautiful and so deeply human I explode every time I think about it. you know cristobal tapia de veer from the white lotus soundtrack but that is Nothing compared to the work he did on this.
Bojack Horseman (2014-2020). as someone who loves movies this show is truly the best meta fiction out there about Hollywood that isn't afraid to throw punches. hilarious and brutal. the animation format and animal absurdity allows them to tell real unrestrained narratives that I don't think live action could ever achieve. Raphael bob-waksberg will never get his foot off my neck
The Bisexual (2018) despite the title I genuinely think desiree akhavan made the greatest lesbian story of all time with this. short, sweet, and soul crushing precarious fleabag type miniseries. also she's sooooo hot oh my GOD
Mr. Robot (2015-2019) it's a shame people forgot about this show towards the end and stopped watching because it is truly theeee speculative epic of all time speaking to issues of capitalism and identity and rebellion. between this and the lazarus project it's like a spiritual sequel to Utopia in the way it explores how much of yourself you have to sacrifice to escape from All This. probably got my favourite needle drops of all time.
The Hour (2011-2012) can you believe the bbc cancelled a show about a bbc show trying to be cancelled? between this and the newsreader yeah I'm obsessed with dramas about people who don't get to tell the truth
Les Revenants (2012-2015) are you sure. are you sure you're not a ghost?
Cowboy Bebop (1998) of course.
Westworld (2016-2022) I hate this show so fucking much there's so many things wrong with it that get my blood boiling but it's also one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. the only thing that makes me feel human is the way I'm treated. I choose to see the beauty. motion picture soundtrack. ramin djawadi is everything to me.
these are my mains but I also highly recommend (other than the obvious succ/yj/iwtv/etc) :

thanks for the tag @venndaai
favorite color: i don't think i have one. i like bright colors ig
last song: tbh probably still the hazbin hotel soundtrack. the obsession is going strong even whole three months later
last movie: anatomy of a fall. at first i didn't plan to go see it bc i'm not interested in stories about awesome women stuck in psychologically draining marriages to pathetic men but the fomo got to me lol. i did like it a lot, esp how the movie establishes some empathy for the guy while firmly remaining on the mc's side and how the kid is shown as a rational human being capable of analysis and decision making even in the face of emotional upheaval. the lawyer was extremely hot. her too tbh except she also looks like a real life woman. very unhollywood, the both of them😌
currently reading: i've been reading the collector by john fowles but when the book switched to miranda's diary it completely lost me. i understand she has nothing to do but, if you were kidnapped and help captive in a cellar by a sociopathic incel, would you spend your time writing down the detailed story of your situationship with another man? highly implausible and i'm not sure i understand what purpose this section serves in the novel. so i was bored and started the second lady trent book today which pulled me in immediately altho i gotta say i still find this series uncomfortable from a postcolonial lens😬
currently watching: i've been doing a project called "combat anxiety and existential dread by gratifying my completionism by finishing the most random shows i started years ago". just finished castle rock bc that was a show past me had decided to watch for some reason. it was whatever but i got +100 completionism gratification points by marking it as finished on the site where i track my shows. next up: westworld s3&4, atlanta s3&4, mr robot s4, lost in space s2&3 and vikings s6. the last two i'm actually looking forward to bc i remember liking them, the rest are just something to put on while scrolling tumblr🤷♀️
currently craving: disgusting soda water of some sort
tea or coffee: both.

I was actually tagged by @oldefashioned this time. 😂
rules: answer + tag 9 people you want to get to know better and/or catch up with
Favorite color?
Okay, so my "comfort color" is lighter shades of teal. However, the color that catches my eye most is varying shades of purple.
Last song?
Technically, it was part of the Fallout 76 soundtrack since I was playing the game a little bit ago. Other than that, The Wallflowers' "One Headlight."
Currently reading?
Uh... not much. I was re-reading Piers Anthony's Xanth series, but that was a while back. Um... in terms of fanfic, I don't read much of that either at the moment simply because it distracts the hell out of me when I'm trying to write. I am keeping up with @nerdherderette's The Inheritance and @dear-massacre's The Venom in Your Skin, though, and enjoying the hell out of both of them.
Currently watching?
I am planning on binge-watching the Fallout show for a second time pretty soon, as well as a re-watch of Mr. Robot. The thing about me and TV shows is that I don't watch a lot of them because I need someone to actually watch them with (like in real time, not just watching at separate times and then gushing about them with a mutual later) or I get horribly distracted.
Currently craving?
Not much of anything at the moment. I might try to make gingersnaps later? Oh, I got a lavender and rose frap from a coffee stand earlier and it was divine.
Coffee or tea?
I'm a fan of both, but coffee is the one I go with most/out of habit. I don't add sugar to either, but I load up coffee with creamer; tea, I just drink plain.
Tagging... @nerdherderette @thotpuppy @ephemeronidwrites @ice-mage @jacyevans @renmackree @twistedamusement I'm pretty sure that everyone I would tag has already been tagged. 🤣
