I’ve had to delete so many from my inbox and I feel bad in case they’re legit but the fact there’s been so many saying the same thing like a copy pasta makes me feel it’s not.

I’m sorry if you’re genuine but I’m closing my inbox and DMs for a day or two just to keep it from overflowing.

Idk how many people on Tumblr already know this or not (including but not limited to those of you who follow me) but if you get an ask from someone claiming to be from Gaza and asking you for financial aid due to the Israel-Palestine conflict, DON’T fall for it. It’s a scam.

They are likely not even from Gaza and they’re using a humanitarian crisis to manipulate well-intentioned and good-hearted people and con them to get money out of those who are gullible enough to fall for their BS. Real Gazans can’t actually do this because they’re far too busy trying to survive the war going on in their homeland. Which is why I say the ebeggers on Tumblr claiming to be from Gaza are likely not even from that part of the world. So if you give them money, real Gazans will almost certainly never see a penny of it and the thieves will just use it to fill their pockets. And there’s a good chance they’re not even real people because there’s a lot of bots on this website.

If you get one ebegging in your inbox, don’t even bother reading a single word they say. Just instablock and report them immediately.
