OKAY DOES LUX LIKE BEING A FATHER?- at FIRST, NO, he did not- infact- he was so egotistical and had such a god complex (literally) he thought having children was the worst thing that could happen to him because… well… gods don’t have kids! Apprentices? Sure- did big G make a kid- sure, but he made his kid with a purpose! The boys were made off one too many rum and cokes and poor judgment- so he honestly despised the thought of having to take care of these kids that- he didn’t even know! But then- he started seeing parts of himself in the kids he didn’t even know he had! And it was like looking at a mirror, and he started feeling these stupid, silly mortal emotions- like love- and proudness- he looked away for 2 seconds- andddddd now he’s attached. So yeah- he does like being a dad- it’s grown on him, and he spends time with them in different ways, like good dads do!

So, any theories as to why E-Soul killed Moon?

I am so happy that this is my first tbhx ask!

I have two theories as to why E-soul killed moon, and honestly, as of the release of episode 7, I am leaning more towards the 2nd theory.

E-soul killed moon to get rid of competition that treeman company poses towards the hero rankings.

E-soul killed moon as a way to drag Lin Ling back into the hero industry and work under mighty glory.

Theory 1

MG and Treeman have had an interesting and most likely rivarlous history. With the Treeman profile describing Mr. shang as "the son of Might glory upper management," indicating that he and Uncle Rock are related in a way and with shang chao also playing a role in the creation of Yang cheng's E-soul there seems to be an interesting family feud brewing between the two companies.

Mr. shang steps down from MG to train firm man, which then makes him the number 10 hero, and it's implied that this is Treemans breakthrough. All the while this is happening, you have the E-soul fan war going along, and the two major parties are shang chao and Uncle Rock. Both are actively working behind the scenes and contributing to the E-soul war. Shang chao sees potential in Yang cheng and, in episode 6, makes a point of telling yang cheng that their next step is to go for the Hero rankings, ultimately threatening OG E-souls place and uncle Rock makes various comments of adapting to the game that the young ones have set to play to the point that he orders one of the brothers to kill Yang cheng.

This long history between the two companies makes it very plausible that the reason why E-soul ends up killing moon is linked to treemans success and prioritising Mighty glory.

By killing Moon, Lin Lings arc can go one of two ways either continue being a hero out of a sense of duty and follow a vaguely similar path to Yang cheng or quit and get further sabotaged by Uncle Rocks schemes. Lin Ling's trust value points by the end of episode 4 were dependent on moon and his devotion towards her. Enlightener revealing that the moon he has with him is just a fake would have caused public commotion that Treeman mentions trying to fight back and cover up against it. The public finding out that moon has been killed and that Lin Ling couldn't save her would definitely cause a commotion or having mighty glory put the blame of Moon's death on Lin Ling would be such a scandal and would cause such a commotion that its guaranteed that lin ling may be kicked out of the top 10 or having his reputation heavily damaged to the point that it makes it even more difficult for him to overtake E-souls 9th position.

Theory 2

Uncle Rock might be trying to pull a yang cheng 2.0 and claim lin ling as a Mighty Glory hero. It's very much intentional that lin ling and yang chengs arcs are intentionally paralleled with one another, and I think with the truth spilling out to everyone worldwide, Uncle Rock may have been heavily reminded of Yang cheng and thought that he could capitalise on this especially since the end of Lin Ling's story opens up with multiple hero agencies wanting to recruit him and the line "someone is going to steal him" so conveniently shows Uncle Rock looking at the God Eye and Lin Ling fight.

There's a high chance that Moon's death will push Lin Ling back into the hero industry and him wanting justice, which will allow for his and E-souls stories to further interlink with one another as they both explore ideas of justice, protecting those that you love and wanting to be seen and heard.

E-soul most likely killed moon because he was just following Uncle Rock's orders and acting as a societal "weight"/puppet following the ideology that he developed in episode 7 as he most likely is convinced that this is the best course of action as well as being manipulated by Uncle Rock and his ideology he most likely views moon as a threat to the Mighty Glory's mission.

These are my personal watsonian theories, and my doylist interpretation of Moon's death and why she died is something I talk about on the 'tragedy of moon' post.

That being said, even in her death and the act of killing her, the hero companies still view her as an accessory attached to someone else instead of human.

YES. Okay, so a system cannot have a disorder the body doesn't. As ASD is a neurodevelopmental condition it affects how the brain is wired which means each alter would be autistic, they may just present differently. So this is how I think each of them present their autism.

STEVEN: Steven is the most obviously autistic alter. Because he didn't front often, his masking skills aren't very developed which means he displays a lot of classic symptoms and features such as:

Unusual body language, often holds his arms in odd ways, walks on his toes, keeps his elbows bent, doesn't make eye contact, displays 'raptor hands', etc.

Special Interest in Ancient Egypt. I mean he literally is learning Hieroglyphics and owns a literal library of books and knows everything about it. Infodumping brings him lots of joy.

Need for routine. Calling his mum every morning, feeding Gus, checking the tape, restraint, sand, etc. He wants things to be very particular and hates when anything changes.

Lack of social skills. Doesn't connect with others very well. Especially seen when he continues to talk to his coworkers when they don't want to talk to him. He doesn't recognize or respond to their tone or body language. He's also very hesitant and anxious in social settings. The only real friend he has until later into the series is Crawley and it's likely because the performer can't talk back or react to Steven. It's often easier to 'talk at people' instead of with them.

Strong moral code and very loyal to his beliefs and the need to be correct. Steven is very straight forward about his beliefs and wants to be on the right side of things. Hence him being vegan and the whole 'killing babies, you guys are just cool with that, yeah???' scene along with when he tells Donna the posters are incorrect and when he tells Dylan they should be selling figs not candy.

Stimming like flapping his hands, rocking, pacing, fidgeting and playing with things like Rubiks cubes.

MARC: Marc learned to mask very quickly in his house hold so he doesn't outwardly display many traits. Instead he experiences a lot of burn out, depression and anxiety due to trying to cover up his ASD symptoms. But he does still have a few that can't be masked like:

Flat tone and lack of facial expressions. Rarely smiles or shows emotions other than anger.

Blunt, often tactless or rude, and thinks very logical. he has a hard time understanding other peoples emotions and accommodating for them.

Special Interest in Tomb Busters, it was the main thing that brought him comfort. he'd watch it so often that he had the entire script memorized and would often forget to eat, sleep, or drink because he was busy fixating on it.

Doesn't connect with new people and doesn't show an interest in them. He doesn't feel a need to socialize.

Gets overwhelmed quickly which leads to melt downs, shut downs, and anger out bursts which caused him to be labeled with 'temper problems'

JAKE: We really don't know too much about Jake so I only noticed one thing really which was:

No interest in other people or social settings. He prefers to be by himself doing his own thing rather than in a group or socializing.

And yea, he def is!! Our first Moon Knight comic was the Lemire run, in which the 3rd alter is being addressed as new and not yet fully formed, a baby being Marc himself doesn't yet know where to place. So we sorta assumed from there that this new addition is going to eventually function like Jake and Steven?

Altho it is kinda cool to see Mr Knight and Marc still bleed through one another, like you can really tell Mr Knight is new and still becoming.

That said, we haven't read every Moon Knight yet, def not the Fist of Khonshu, so a lot of hcs here might be contradictory or something already established.

I DO adore how insistent Mr Knight is about his role as a priest, it seems like it's 1 faucet of his personality that he knows for sure to be his and he fully embraces it.

Other than that, he has a personal tailor somewhere downtown, one that is sorta hidden away, looks like an old ruined barber shop, long abandonded, but once you go in, you get treated to the best custom made suits in town.

I do also think he's not yet sure if he's allowed to be his own person. When he emerged, Marc was already at his own misguided war with Jake and Steven, blaming them for his own shortcomings, and their rocky relationship at that point might've given him the idea that individuality or life in general is not something he can ever have. So he keeps to Midnight Mission.

He also seems to hold more rage against those who ever acted poorly about Marc's mental illnesses, he addresses name calling and vaguely references the early misdiagnosis of DID as schizofrenia as grounds for future hate speech against Moon Knight.

You were nervous to say the least.

You didn't know how to tell him that you were pregnant

Part of you knew he would accept

But the other part of you was nervous

When he got home from work, you asked him to sit down

Then when he did, you gave him the news.

To say Steven was happy was an understatement

He pulled you into his arms and hugged you

"We're going to be parents!"

Your heart leaped out of your chest.

You were happy he took it so well.

Every morning, he'd be with you when you'd run to the bathroom because of morning sickness

He'd pick up your prenatal vitamins from the pharmacy so you could relax

He didn't treat you like a porcelain doll though

If you wanted to go do groceries alone, he'd let you

If you could carry something, he'd make sure it wasn't too heavy

When your stomach grew bigger, he'd take time out of his day to pick up your belly for you, letting you relax in his arms

He'd read Egyptian Mythology children's books to your bump

He would make sure to rub your feet if they were aching

He'd attend every appointment with you, not caring if he'd have to miss a tour or two at the museum for you and your baby

You both decided to keep the gender a surprise

Steven was a bit antsy since he was thinking of baby names

He thought if your baby was a boy, maybe he'd talk to Marc about naming him Randall or he'd talk to you about naming him after an Egyptian God

If your baby was a girl, he'd talk to you about naming her after an Egyptian Goddess.

You'd smile and tell him you'd both know when you'd see the baby

But also said it was a good idea to talk to Marc about using Randall's name

He'd also get a head start on baby-proofing the apartment

There was a lot of cuddling involved for your comfort

Steven being Steven, he'd talk to your belly before you'd even start showing

When the baby would start kicking, he'd tell them not to kick too hard

In response, they'd kick again, making you and Steven laugh

Steven loved feeling your baby's movements

He told you he had a feeling the baby loved him from how they responded to his touches

You told it was probably because the baby knew you felt safe

Steven would go on a frenzy buying blankets and clothing that were gender neutral from white, brown, gray, green, yellow, etc.

He told you even if you both knew the gender, he'd still get them gender neutral clothing because pink and blue was overrated

You'd laugh but agreed with him.

You couldn't have asked for a better man than Steven to be the father of your child

He was the best boyfriend you could ask for anyway

Then the way he felt about you, made your heart flutter

"I'm glad I can be a dad with you, love. You'll be the best mother in the world."
