Hello Bernthirsters!

How have you been? Have you been running around like crazy after seeing Frank again? Cause we sure have. That scene was absolutely amazing! We know that like us, you've all missed Frank so much, and just like last time, his introduction back into the show blew us all away. That man sure knows how to make an entrance. That's why Frank's reappearance is the perfect opportunity for us to let you know that we're planning a new event for June.

During the previous event, we honored Jon's TV show characters, so this time, we are going to do the same thing but with his movie characters. Between The Accountant 2 and The Amateur coming out this year, we're sure that we'll have brand-new material to work with. But we also hope that you'll show some love to the characters that aren't talked about often enough. For the TV show event, we went for one character per day, but this time we're doing a bit more of a theme event, since there are more characters than week days.

Friday: Best look/transformation

Saturday: Sweetest

Sunday: Favorites

Prompt Rules: These are subjective. When we say 'favorites' you can focus on either your favorite characters, scenes, movies, etc. and it applies to all categories. FILMS WATCHED IN 2024 Furiosa: a mad max saga (2024) Dir. George Miller

It's been three days since I went to the movies and I'm still thinking about how at the beginning of the movie, when Stone takes Sonic, Tails and Knucles to see Eggman, he admits in the middle of the sermon that Stone is like the person he trusts most in that world and how its obvious that at the end he only says he doesn't care because he's trying to please his grandfather. Because even though he cares about Stone, that doesn't mean that Stone's affection is taken for granted, since from his biological family, affection is supposedly guaranteed.

I could say a lot about the sweet but intensely misguided intervention Tavros makes here to save baby Jade, but I mostly just want to talk about Grandpa Harley having a fucking picnic with a blue lady doll while his infant granddaughter was playing with loaded pistols.

A “QUICK!” Review of "The Gorge (2025)"

The idea of two people on opposite sides watching over a gorge so monsters can not come out is a fun concept.

For the most part, the film delivers on the idea while having an enjoyable romance on top. Miles Teller and Anna Taylor Joy have incredible chemistry and I brought the build-up of their relationship. It has a fun tension and romantic-filled first act with an excellent action video-game-like second act. Unfortunately, the film is let down a bit by a dull and overly convenient final act.

Still, this is a solid two-hour popcorn flick that entertains the audience.
