i mean you got to admit the balls on rolin jones to take one of the weirdest most controversial book series that was at once incredibly ahead of its time and also bigoted in some hilarious ways and turn it into a beautifully crafted work of televisual art that deals with racism, homophobia, domestic violence and misogyny in so many shades and how trauma can affect one's memory to the point of causing a crisis in their identity but still has at its core the craziest gay love story and divorce of all time. you dont get this shit anywhere else
