Me, (like a year and a half ago): "hey [college name] I am graduating soon. Am i still going to have access to my college outlook email once I graduate?"

College: "yes 👍 your access to your email isnt going to be changing rest assured! You still have access to all your professors contacts and the job alerts they send out on mass to students in your field."

Me: "cool! Thats great to know thanks! I will not move anything because my security in the fact that I will continue to have access to my email has be personally assured by you."

Me, (present day): "hey. Im locked out of my email account. It says I dont have permissions to access it, yaknow, the thing I was personally assured would not happen."

College, smoking a cigarette right in my fucking face: "oh yeah we turned off permissions for anyone whos not currently enrolled like literally a month ago at the beginning of july without telling you."

Me: "okay??? I had stuff on there that I still need access to? Can I please get in there and move it to my personal email?"

College, flicking the cigarette butt at me: "uuugh well if we HAVE TO we'll give you access back this one time but if you dont move all your shit in like a day and a half you have to enroll in another semester to get back in so dont fucking bother us with this again."

Me (again): "hey hi im trying to transfer the resources I needed to my personal email but you've completely scrubbed my inbox clean. I can look up what I need. It shows up if I search it but I dont have access to it. Could you help me please???"

College: "yeah I havent see that before give us your info and we'll get back to you on that."

Me: "when."

College: "we'll get around to it."

Me: "so I work 3rd shift. I have to sleep during the day so I already have a limited time table on the already limited time table you've set for me, and now I have to wait for you to get back to me on how you screwed up giving me my email back?"

College: "omfg youre so dramatic you only gave us like 12000 dollars for this degree that you cant find a job in and you need the only useful part of your college experience, which is the resources you were provided by your professors through your email account, could you be a little less fucking needy?"

Me: *goes through long convoluted chain of student tech support people who are all the most fucking condescending people on planet earth. Each one acting as if im ruining their day by the fact that I'm very patiently trying to get them to help me figure out how we can solve this problem.*

College, after sending me to 5 differnt departments: "We cant fix it. Fuck you. You shouldve moved your emails over. It doesnt matter that we literally assured you that you would not lose access to the email. Its your fault for trusting us."

I still stand by the fact that Zane shouldn't have been brought back for season 3 of MCD and that any actions that Zane committed could have easily been done by Gene. I feel like Zane ran his course in the narrative and bringing him back devalued his death, and I do know the fact that it was done to further tie MCD to MyStreet but.... I am personally not a fan of it.

I feel like Gene makes a better third antagonists and splits the plot less. Leaving between three major events and not the four-five that Zane introduces, with the three being

Shad and the search for the relics

The War With Tu'la

The Shadow Knight Rebellion

And given Genes nature as a Shadow Knight and working directly under Shad, it ties him directly to two plots along while allowing his drama with Dante to exist. Zane adds essentially a D plot as Zane is a show stealer and even an E plot as we have seen in MCD Season 1, he certainly knows how to manipulate a narrative and cause problems.

I've seen a lot of people talk about mermaid Donna, but I raise you: selkie Donna. Urla found her on the shore of her island when donna was little and accidentally got separated from her pod. Urla took donna in, heavily restricting her access to her coat unless it was for hunting fish for the cats. Donna grew up and was made to feel a bit like a freak for it, its a part of herself to be kept hidden. Donna eventually becomes a teenager, steals her coat back in the night, and runs off to become a sailor merchant.

She moves around for many years until eventually settling down in Phoenix drop, a village close enough to her mother that she could help take care of her in her old age if something happened, but far enough away that she doesnt have to see her much. Eventually, her and Logan fall in love and get married. Things go well. They brave the horrors of their rocky honeymoon, become impromptu parents to a wolf cub, surviving a war and returning to Phoenix drop after the heat with scaleswind dies down. Despite the missing familiar faces, its still their home.

Things are relatively quiet in the following year. But eventually, her coat, that she'd been careless enough to leave around, goes missing. She throws the house apart looking for it. Feeling bitter betrayal that she'd let herself be so careless as to let it out of her sight and allow it to get taken again. Until Logan walks in with the dried laundry, neatly folded in a basket. He groans loudly at the sight of the torn apart house, asking Donna what the hell she's doing. Before she gets a chance to demand he give back what he stole, she spots her coat in the basket. She snatches it back, Logan makes no move to stop her.

Donna holds it protectively to her chest, "You took this?"

"Washed it." He clarifies, unphased. "It was soaking sea water all over the floor."

"You know what this is!" She says fisting the coat and shaking it in front of his face. "Any merchant worth their salt would know how much these are worth! For more reasons than one." She spits distatesfully.

"I do." He confirms

"Then why didn't you hide it?" She demands

Logan breaks into laughter. Donna seethes

When Logan finally collects himself, apparently sensing Donna growing urge to strangle him, he grabs her hand. "I dont need to make you stay. That's what this is for." He holds her hand with the ring, tapping at the metal for emphasis.

Donna is at a loss for word for a second before defensively hissing, "still worth a helluva lotta money."

"Yeah, well, so is werewolf pelt. And given that you've so far resisted the urge to skin me in my sleep, I figured it's only kind of me to extend the same courtesy."

Donna scoffs, but she can't keep the smile from creeping onto her face. "Don't sound so sure of yourself. There's still plenty of time." She punches him in the arm. "Don't take my shit again. Ask first."

Logan rubs his arm, rolling his eyes. "Oh, sure. every time you leave your dishes out or your clothes strewn across the living room, I'll be sure to ask your permission before I take care of that. In the market for a head guard, are you milord?"

"Smartass."

"You knew that going in." Logan snorts, leaning in to kiss her, "But, yes. I'll let you know next time I'm washing it. Because between you tearing shit apart and Yip trying to burrow his way through the cushions, we can't afford anymore damage to the house. And I'm not paying Brendan to build a new one."

thinking abt … that when people write garrencemau + aphmau with any other person other than them.. its important to note that laurence literally only sees garroth as a worthy rival. he calls aphmau “our” lady to dante in malachis moving castle arc referring to him and garroth. he would’ve lowkey been fine if garroth and aphmau kissed in the woods and he saw that illusion because “hey thats OUR lady”, garroth just fr wasnt aware they even wanted to be with him💔💔💔, poly real.

@a-cheetosandroid no, I totally agree. I hate gendered classpects. I dont use it or subscribe to it at all. I didnt choose thief because Susies a girl, I chose thief because thats the personality that fits her most,

Along with the fact that she literally stole hope (noelles spot in the prophecy) for herself and became one of the three heros. (No she didnt do this intentionally but functionally that is what happened) something i want to highlight above is the line about hiding insecurities. This is a huge part of her character, she even expresses it explicitly in chapter 4 when telling kris about how she tried to play piano. Its why in the beginning throughout chapter 1 shes putting on a facade of indifference, not wanting to get invested in the dark world, being mean to kris and ralsei, and attacking darkners indiscriminately. all that is her hiding her insecurities so she doesnt appear weak. Another thing that isnt mentioned above is that thieves start off lacking their Aspect (see: vriska serket and her bad luck) Susie starts off the story inverted, showing rage and pessimism and forced apathy to protect herself. But its through the people around hers confidence in her (lancer, ralsei, kris, noelle, gerson, false faith in the prophecy, hell even berdly) that she steals the hope others give her to bolster herself and her self image so she can showcase it to ralsei in the final scene in the dark world, giving him hope that maybe they can change things.

While I do understand the instinct to put her as a prince due to her destructive and stubborn nature, princes are extremely negative and pessimistic in a way that Susie just isnt, sarcastic sure but she's the one to display hope and inspire ralsei in chapter 4. Additionally, a prince of rage would destroy rage to make for hope, princes are sort of at odds with both ends of their Aspect, their actual aspect and the one they ghost. Where as Susie works more harmoniously with her aspect and its invert. While thieves are over compensating for insecurity, princes overestimate their abilities and self-aggrandize. Princes have an ego, they are self-loathing but still think they are better than others, where as Susie deep down thinks shes not as good as the people around her. And what isnt mentioned above is the general personality of princes as cold, logistical, strategists. Thieves are loud, boisterous, and value strength. Something i feel fits Susie much better.

In chapter 1 Susie is inverted, displaying as a page of rage. Shes overcomphsating for where she feels shes lacking, and she does it so well she reads as a prince of rage, but we see this persona break down through the next three chapters until fully looping back around to her true aspect thanks to Gerson.
