hi gang reminder that giftedness isn't just "everyone told me I was good at things and now I'm not!!! ):" its ALSO "giftedness was used against me specifically to ignore my struggles with my learning disabilities to the point where I didn't even KNOW I was disabled until my teen years where at that point I was socially and emotionally wrecked because for my entire childhood I had no word to put to my disability except "gifted" because that's the only word the trusted adults in my life would tell me about, and whenever I would tell people "I can't do things like you, I'm gifted (I meant disabled but I didn't have the language for it) they would become cold towards me and I never knew why".

I checked out a fic author's twt a little while ago because I loved their story and one of their posts said they don't put up a "tcest dni" because they don't want people who don't know what it is to look it up because it's so disgusting. Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.

LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.

Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.

What’s up with how the dunmeshi fandom just lies about this kind of stuff all the time. It is easily confirmable information that it was a monthly series, something incredibly common in the industry.

A not weekly magazine schedule is literally common !! Especially in the seinen shoujo and josei demographics, sometimes monthly, sometimes biweekly, sometimes every two months, sometimes seasonal! Please stop lying about how Dunmeshi was some special unique creation that defies all standards of manga just to hype it up because it is so clear that every single one of these comparisons is centered around Weekly Shonen Jump (and understand that SJ has many magazines under its brand that are monthly or semimonthly). Not everything is WSJ and it needs to stop being the only point of reference in conversations like this 🤧
