Clockwork paused in his work, gaze turning from his work towards his ghostling (it didn’t matter if he was an adult, he’d always be his ghostling) who was smiling nervously, avoiding his eyes. 

“Oh?” He kept his tone light, even as he worked on untangling a time knot. Honestly at least Danny was immune to any effect of time, even if he couldn’t look into his timelines in exchange. It came with being the other half of Infinity. 

“Yeeah… you know that corner of the multiverse you told me not to go to because you’re working on some time problems? I might have stumbled into one of the worlds in the corner…” 

He stopped his machinations, fully turning towards Danny- Space, his Core whispered and quivered in utter delight at having an Equal in power- with a raised eyebrow, leaning on his staff and silently telling him to explain. 

Danny poked his fingers together, giving a nervous laugh. “So uh, I was just exploring right? Well me and Ellie, you know how she gets when she can’t wander, and um… I er, we might have messed with some things in the creation of it… I didn’t know it was part of that universe, I swear! It was so far at the fringes and halfway into the Zone and I couldn’t just let a universe die before it began and-”

Oh- Oh! His ghostling (and his grand-ghostlings it sounded like) had claimed his first universe! He could put off these time knots, this was a grand milestone for any Ancient, nevermind such a primordial force as one of theirs.

And this is how a DC world came into being with humans evolving with more avian traits. Like wings. And claws. Look, Dan thought it’d be funny if they gave baby humanity wings and Ellie started rambling about how much farther they could travel if they had them and Danny thought it could be cool. Oh well, time to keep an eye on their itty baby world now…

You know I am gonna go on a limb and say that Dragon isn't a bad father who "abandoned his child"

Like we didn't need confirmation that Dragon is an ex-marine to come to this conclusion, but it does add to the fact that Dragon would've known that if he ever fathered a child, that child would be in grave danger simply for being Dragon's child. Dragon would've known he couldn't have stayed with his child

The Government went out of its way to hunt for the Pirate King's literal unborn child, hurting countless people, innocent pregnant women, their husbands and babies in the process. Because Roger's blood was "evil" and so was the child for carrying that same "evil blood"

And mere years after the hunt for Roger's child, the Government would put a gigantic bounty on an 8 year old child because she could read forbidden texts. And we know the Ohara Incident became the final straw that transformed the Freedom Fighters into the Revolutionary Army.

Dragon was the head of that Army. Even without being an ex-marine, he would have known that the government would treat his child (and partner) the exact same as Ace and Robin. But knowing he was an ex-marine, it might have even given him extra insight into just how fucking bad the Government was

The Army would have been no place to raise a child in general

And being raised in the Army would've robbed the child from ever having any freedom, the ability to choose from themselves who or what they wanted to become and make their own path

If Dragon ever wanted Luffy to be free, he could not have kept the child with him. The child had to be left somewhere safe, away from him. And if Dragon knew Ace had been entrusted to Garp, then he would've been 100% certain Garp would be willing to take care of his son (as Garp was clearly bending the laws for Roger's kid, like surely he'd then do the same for his own grandkid)

Dragon was in a shit situation and in the end, I do genuinely believe he did the best thing he could to give his child a future by not endangering him with his own existence

Listen I am on my rewatch of The Glory and aside from being madly in love with both the romantic and unhinged nature of Joo Yeo Jeong, The absolute disparity between the good and bad parents in this show is killing me.

Dong-Eun’s mom? Absolute piece of trash with no class.

Yeon-Jin’s mom? Karen who thinks money and power can buy you anything.

Yeo-Jeong’s mom? Absolutely 100% supportive, but not stupid and committed to doing the right thing.

Kang Hyeon-Nam? The baddest bitch alive, willing to do anything to save her daughter even if it means endangering herself.

And then you have the disparity between Jae Jun and Do-Hyeong, who both cared about Ye-Sol. Jae Jun only cared about her when it was convenient for him and wanted her not because he truly loved her but because he wanted to possess her. Meanwhile, you have Do-Hyeong who is constantly looking out for Ye-Sol’s best interests even though he isn’t biologically related to her.

NOT ONLY THAT, but you also have Yeo-Jeong’s Dad, who was murdered by a patient while doing what he thought was right by saving him, unintentionally starting his son on the path to revenge.

And like yeah The Glory’s main focus is revenge but it’s also an exquisite commentary on how we pass down, inherit, come to terms with, and outright prevent generational trauma from our parents. It also shows how we can choose to do better or worse than they did based on the relationships we create or take for granted.

Idk man, as a generational trauma cycle breaker myself and mom of an (adopted adult) daughter that also experienced so much of that, this show gets to me on a parenting level in a way I can’t even begin to describe.

(Also Do-Yeong’s relationship with Ye-Sol makes me cry in the best way 🥹)

For the puppet au!

Do you think that after Moon gets her puppet she is taken to the place where gourmand and the other slug cats reside as she clearly loves the species? I think it'd be adorable that Pebbles be the one leading her to the place and completely get buried by slug cats.

I'm not exactly 'taken' but after being completely detached from my can, I have been tagging along this slugcat colony! I don't see any reason why I should stay at my or other iterators' can when I can travel with these lil ones! They seem to enjoy my company too which brings me much joy!

Sometimes when we pass by Pebbles' territory I do pester him to come down and say hi to the lil ones! I'll get you photos of him getting swarmed the next time we pass by.

I don't exactly take care of these scugs. They're very much capable of taking care of themselves! The colony is quite big and this photo does not do justice to show you the entire population. I do help with gathering food or protecting them from threats though. But if we did come across any stragglers - or other iterators' messengers - I'd always try to convince them to travel with us!

P.s. Moon has names for them i just haven't came up with them yet djjdjdjdd

Drivers duty is nothing compared to the towers of files waiting on his desk after all, and wait long waiting wrath of Kunikida on the other line, Dazai swiftly goes out, already waiting for you inside the car.

The full moon hung in the dark night sky and earphones in your ears, you steal glances at the normally enthusiastic and loud man besides you— now drown in complete silence, eyes fixed on the road, with an expression not quite blank but not burdened with any thoughts eating away.

Eyes back on the moon, you notice it’s bigger than usual if your perception isn’t deceiving you— and presenting itself wrapped in rainbows, a halo of yellow, red and slight green, the light of the moon itself offering the missing blue for this little art piece.

No matter how proper or rocky the roads may be, the car drives swiftly; you have to think for a second to recall the last time you have experienced a car ride this smooth, safe and sound; you have forgotten just how peaceful these can be, remembering once more why some people drive the night away to clear their head.

With music slowly taking over, the moon shining like this is its last day in the universe, the pitch black sky as if in a pocket dimension, and Dazai, now a completely different man next to you, you are nulled to sleep.

Only when the music has come to an end and Dazai is nearing a resting spot does your eyes open again, watching the moon light dance on his face— a new side to him, a new sight of Dazai Osamu you have reached the honor of witnessing.

Drop was just an absolute menace in this episode! I loved every minute of it, especially when he melted all the rubber balls together and Sun was like "I just want to talk to him. I just want to talk to him. I just want to talk to him. I just want to kill him. I just want to kill him." I loved the reference.🤣 all that was missing was the shotgun and it would have been even better.

I thought that Drop would stick around a bit, I was thinking, 🤔"Hmm, him and Jack would make great friends." KA-BOOM!

"Never mind." 😃 probably for the best they killed Drop. This episode also made me realize, I feel so bad for both Sun and Moon. Moon was back for what? Three days? A week? And now people are starting to drop all their problems on him. The bachelorettes pregnant.

CELIA/CECILIA

Cecilia has the perfect pregnancy at the start. She excitedly tells everyone in town after she discovers she’s pregnant. You’re happy to see her glow during this time. Dr. Hardy has some concerns in the second trimester and places some restrictions on Cecilia’s activity. Her bubbly disposition helps temporarily quell your worries. You soon find yourself having to monitor her around the house closely. Marlin and Vesta are also enlisted to ensure Cecilia doesn’t overdo work there. Cecilia spends the last part of her pregnancy on bedrest, pouting about not being able to do anything.

FLORA

You know Flora is pregnant, but other than her body changing, not much else seemed to happen. She had mild cravings throughout the pregnancy but managed to avoid morning sickness. She does experience food aversions and sends you and your food from the room several times during the pregnancy. Flora spoke in detail with Dr. Hardy after you raised concerns about her working during the pregnancy. With his clearance, Flora worked until the day before giving birth. Flora is not keen on a gender reveal or baby shower but is happy to participate if you want one.

LUMINA

Lumina is calm and practical at the start of her pregnancy. She insists on not telling anyone other than Dr. Hardy until the first trimester is complete. Lumina has mild symptoms but nothing that really impacts her daily life. You find some of her cravings immensely odd. The fridge stays stocked with pickles and ice cream for Lumina. Aunt Romana’s displeasure at the secrecy is quickly forgotten when Lumina agrees to have a baby shower. Lumina is eager to share every movement with you when the baby can be felt. She says she is happy with a boy or girl. Lumina just wants them to be healthy and would love it if they looked like you.

MUFFY/MOLLY

Molly greatly suffers from morning sickness during the first trimester. She also began napping during the day, claiming she was exhausted. Her energy bounces back in the second and third trimesters. You struggled to keep up with her enthusiasm as she constantly changed her mind on how to decorate. Molly insists on a gender reveal party after hearing about them from her friends in the city. While Molly doesn’t go overboard, she insists on dozens of pictures being taken. Your opinions of her city friends change slightly when they host a very thoughtful and grand baby shower for Molly.

NAMI

You find a positive pregnancy test in the bathroom before Nami says anything to you. The redhead kills your excitement by telling you to wait. She doesn’t think the test was accurate and plans to test again. Nami seems dazed after another two positive tests. You can tell she’s excited by the list of names she has weeks later to share with you. Nami doesn’t show any signs of morning sickness or being tired. Her main difference while pregnant is how easily she cries. The first time she startled you was when she began crying at a commercial on the television.
