Yet despite these feeling you haven’t addressed your feelings towards the group and made it known that you can’t keep kidding yourself about this. You have been pretending for so long but you only did so to avoid issues with the rest of those around you. Just tell everyone or this person that you can’t keep going at this rate Aquarius. You are going to have a lot of distrust towards those around you Pisces; someone may have let it be known that you have a two face friend or you feel like things are just not going well. This has filled you with a lot of anxiety about the future, your friends your relationships and just everything. Living in fear and trying to control everything around you is only going to cause more harm to you Pisces. You’re taking on too many problems and some of which are not even real issues in your life. Take a moment and look at things from another perspective. There is a lot of things being told to you that are not fact and it’s time to see what is real and what isn’t; things are not all black and white and you will be seeing that this month.

Big Ideas, Big Questions: 2024 Mercury in Sagittarius

What: Mercury in Sagittarius

When: Nov. 2, 2024 - Jan. 8, 2025 

Who’s Impacted: EVERYONE, but esp. Mutable signs (Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, Pisces) and the other fire signs (Aries, Leo). 

Takeaway: the planet of communication takes a long stroll through the jovial fire sign, thanks to a mid-cycle retrograde; thoughts, writing, news, and the truth move at a similarly stalled pace. 

     2024 has been hella exhausting and the mental fatigue is real. Thankfully, the planets have your back with a transit that is sure to fire up your thinking. On Nov. 2, Mercury entered invigorating fire sign Sagittarius, where it will stay until Jan. 8, 2025, which is an unusually long time for Mercury to be in a sign—and it’s thanks to an end-of-year retrograde. Normally, I post horoscopes on the day or the day before a transit is set to happen, but it seems more prudent to post these horoscopes a little later since Mercury has already moved into its pre-retrograde shadow phase. I already talked in-depth about the significance of the pre-retrograde shadow in my weekly forecast, but here’s a quick refresher: 

     In the three phases of retrogrades—pre, retro, and post—the pre-retrograde shadow phase gives us a preview of the themes, lessons, and mix-ups we’ll see (way) more of during Mercury Retrograde. It can be a time of deceleration, too. Because when we’re in the pre-shadow phase, Mercury begins to slow down and inch its way over the area (degrees) of the zodiac sign it’ll revisit during the retrograde. If it sounds confusing, don’t worry. Pre-retrograde shadow is the dress rehearsal, the movie trailer that drops hints of the upcoming retrograde’s plot twists. Of course, the big question for this pre-retrograde shadow is: What will those plot twists be?

     Known for its big-picture focus and love of ideas, Mercury in Sagittarius values the “wow factor” over small details. So from Nov. 2 through Jan. 8, you, me, the media, and any would-be presidential candidate (you know the one) are all more likely to exaggerate for effect or add a touch of drama to make a story resonate. In other words, tall tales, exaggerations, and wide extensions of the truth are par for the course. In fiery, Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius, Mercury, the messenger and megaphone of astrology, gets even louder, bolder, and potentially more controversial with the messages it sends. It is very in-your-face—especially during that pre-retrograde phase.

��    Now, I’m not here to spoil the fun of Mercury in Sagittarius, because it can be a really great transit for big, bold ideas and honest conversations. Nor am I here to stir up your anxiety, because I don’t want to do that. However, I do want to be real and honest with you. Based on what we’ve already seen/heard, and based on what we know about Mercury Retrograde, I think certain groups (ie: Trump and his allies) are going to try and amp up efforts to spread more misinformation and disinformation, especially during the height of the pre-retrograde shadow and retrograde transit. I think we’re heading into a period where conspiracy theories and more incendiary rhetoric are going to run wild. 

     So, it’s important to stay aware of this, to practice critical thinking and media literacy, and to not believe everything you read or see. I’m not attempting to sow distrust in anything (except maybe Truth Social), I just want you to be prepared. Both Mars and Mercury will be retrograde in the beginning of December, so things might get messy / confusing / chaotic; they might already feel that way for you. My main worry is that certain people are going to add more fuel to that fire. If that is the case, please remember: you are not at the mercy of astrology or the media; you are not at the mercy of anything or anyone else. You still have free will, free choice, and astute critical thinking skills; you still have your power. No one and no thing can take that from you. Anyway!

September 2024 Horoscope: The Month Ahead

As we transition from the day of Hades moon to soon a full moon in Sagittarius we feel ourselves go through an intense process of shift emotionally as Moon square Pluto - well can eat something which brings comfort to see why you need it and can you stand without.

It can feel intense but this monthly transit helps us transform slowly emotionally bringing us closer to knowing our own self making us strong in turn without reliance of another. October 🌹 2024 Monthly - Virgo

Preshuffle: You’ve been taking some kind of romantic action towards someone - I’m getting this is newer if so - and you’re changing your mind or deciding this person isn’t for you. Something has your red flags waving 🚩

Meditation: A massive anthill where all of the ants are singing “Hi-Ho”, because of course, and there’s this long line of ants working hard - being ants. One ant is laying in the middle of the path under a leaf 🍃 , to jump out and say “BOO”, but the other ants are just irritated with the waste of time, stopping to pause, especially the ants at the back that don’t know what’s going on. I’m also seeing a traffic jam with that, not knowing why we’re stopped because you’re five exits behind the issue or where you are expected to be and 🤷 what can you do?

There’s a lot of worry being shown with you, The Moon at the bottom with Worry and Loneliness being Oracle cards. You’re going back and forth on a promise, either one someone has made to you, one you’ve made, or one you could just be considering making - and whether someone meant it or if they’re lying. Could be you, do you really intend to commit to something in the way it’s been promised? Is someone lying to you? I see you trying to remain balanced and impartial with Bahana Beige - but you can’t help but worry. I’m also seeing you be alone a lot with The Hermit, no surprise there with a Virgo, but that’s probably why the fear is creeping in.

For some, I’m seeing this be an ex you haven’t talked to since the break-up, and you go back and forth on whether it could be healed. I’m also seeing something be cut off from communication for financial reasons, something that keeps you connected - like a phone, internet, etc. You may be forcibly removed from social settings because of financial issues or events that you have no control over. It’s also possible you’re separated from a lover or someone you’re close to, could be a friend or bestie, because their phone is out or they’re having issues - so you’re left on your own.

It’s possible someone is lying, or just doesn’t know. There’s an unfair situation someone is unaware of or was. With this Page and The Fool, I’m literally seeing someone be stopped at an airline or something and having something confiscated or tossed. Your person’s company requires everyone’s phones to be locked away for the entire day or something - there’s something keeping you in a silent & solo state but it doesn’t feel like you…exactly. You’re expecting truth and communication and are questioning whatever you are getting, like maybe it’s bs, lying, unfair, there’s more to the story. I see a risk not being taken and that probably being forced too, like the phone deal. They’re not going to be fighting a board room full of people putting their phones in a basket to not be interrupted - it’s like you don’t have a choice here.

End of the month, I still don’t see a solution to this issue, it looks like someone’s hands are tied, that’s what keeps repeating. The Hierophant is connected to silence, you could fear someone is holding back secrets or purposely not talking to you, lying and making excuses.

YOUR 2024 August Horoscope

     August 2024 is one helluva cosmic rollercoaster. One of those roller coasters that you find at a fly-by-night carnival, and wonder to yourself “did they install this correctly? Are ALL the nuts and bolts in place?” This is actually the same type of question you’ll likely have for yourself as you move through August.

     Because Mercury does station retrograde. On the Leo New Moon, (which as a Leo Rising, pisses me off MAJORLY). Then, we have Venus changing signs twice, and some tricky, potentially sticky-but-hopefully-not-too-incendiary interactions between Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, followed by a really WILD CARD Aquarius Full Moon. By the time the Sun enters Virgo, though, things begin to cool off and de-crunch. Sorta. 

     If all of that sounded like a bunch of mumbo jumbo, fret not! In layman's terms, it means that for the majority of the month, technology, communications and your Insta feed are going to get a little wonky. Mercury retrograde is the reason you lose your keys, misplace your documents, have to buy a new phone because your other one just suddenly stopped working, can’t download/upload that file, and much, MUCH more.

     So, yes: August is essentially filled with the aforementioned tech glitches and communication mishaps—because Mercury is retrograde Aug. 4 thru Aug. 28—but it’s also a great month to slow the f*ck down. Not just because of Mercury Retrograde. Yes, Mercury Retrograde encourages you to slow down, to assess and review, but also forthcoming squares from Mars & Jupiter (in Gemini) to Saturn in Pisces are going to FORCE you to slow down. They are metaphorical red lights. They are also days of friction, tension, and restless indecisiveness. 

     When the planets of action, confidence, and expansion (Mars and Jupiter, respectively) butt heads with the planet of limits and restrictions (Saturn), your forward motion is stalled. It’s like trying to drive with the emergency brake on. You can move, but accelerating is a challenge. This happens on Aug. 15 & Aug. 17. Before that, Mars & Jupiter collide in Gemini on Aug. 14, and it’s like full-blow traveling circus energy. Jamboree, free-for-all, fuck it and find out.
