#kingdom hearts 2#kh2#shadow stalker#dark thorn#heartless#my gif#this boss fight is so cool for so many reasons#it's highly memorable to me because of how it takes full advantage of the location and possesses the entire ballroom#the ballroom is such an iconic disney location so it's really cool to watch it transform into something alive and nightmarish#also how the shadow stalker cocoons itself and emerges as a monstrous form that resembles the beast himself#the shackles representing how he's confined to his castle#the vines and thorns that wrap around its whole body depict his unhealthy obsession with the rose#it even has the ability to turn invisible which could relate to his isolation and how he doesn't even exist to anyone outside the castle#this form is definitely representative of what he could be if he succumbed to his loneliness depression and anger#good designs. good fight. and very cool reaction commands

Yellow Jackets viewers who want happy endings and romance and healing get on my nerves because what kind of show do you think you signed up for. Its dark and fucked up theyre eating teammates like go watch a dramedy?? This show had been such a wonderful mindfuck of an experience and its very much thought process on life and shit not every good media needs a happy ending.

thinking about dean using the idea of angel disapproval for the first time in 4.04 -> sam meeting them and ultimately understanding that angels are not creatures of mercy who save in 4.07 -> sam using his powers for the first time since 4.04 towards the end of 4.07
#like ultimately. if my relationship with faith was upturned and my personal conflict had to do with#the usage of my body as a tool of agency that had to do with the idea that past a certain point i would not be able to be saved#and my faith had largely been to do with the possibility of being saved#then the prospect of crossing that threshold into not being able to be saved essentially becomes null#in terms of my faith‚ the dichotomy no longer exists. i mean of course it wouldn't if the angels turn out of be 'them'/monstrous#this kind of goes back to my post about how supernatural kind of banks on the audience's own cultural christianity#and the inherent view of angels as Good for it's emotional punch here. like from sam and dean's pov#angels are very quickly becoming another species of Monster‚ but the rughtousness re: sam's abilities is wholly banked on#dean and the angel's pov#referat
