Hey! Please feel free to ignore the request if it doesn't inspire you, but i was wondering if you could write something with a reader who is dating luffy. She is a little insecure ( perhaps a plus sized reader or just not super comfortable in their body reader) when encountering Boa Hancock. But here is the twist, Boa is obsessed with both reader and luffy and wants to be with both of them. I thought it would be a fun twist on a prompt I've seen a lot.
Thank you, and I hope you are having a good day!

Boa Hancock.
The name set every nerve within you on fire.
Why? Well, it was simple really.
She was beautiful. Otherworldly so. Beautiful and thin and tall and powerful. Men drooled over her and she had the ability to turn them to stone for it. Turn them to stone before the drool even began to dry on their chins.
You could possibly get over your jealousy and insecurities around her, you had with the members of your own crew, had it not been for one simple fact.
She was in love with Luffy.
Luffy who you were dating.
She was so insanely obsessed with Luffy that she believed they were going to get married.
At first she had been venomous towards you like the snake she was. A venom you were quick to spit right back. But recently that venom was lessened.
It started out small. She wouldn’t stare stony daggers at you. Wouldn’t try to belittle you and keep you far from Luffy. In fact, she had begun making sure you could be with Luffy as much as you wanted.
Then it turned into honey-dripped compliments, blushing cheeks, and bashful behavior when around you. She had even begun to serve you food. Something she had only ever done for Luffy.
It was strange. You trusted nothing she gave you, whether verbal or physical.
“She’s up to something.” You confined to Luffy one night as you two walked through the Kuja village. The occasional warrior would greet you both warmly as you passed. “She is being too--” You struggled for a moment to find the right word to describe just how she had been treating you, “Too nice to me.”
Luffy stared at you for a long moment…a moment he took to either think over what you were saying or think over just how hungry he must be growing. Either could be entirely possible, but before you could prompt him to say something, he did.
“...Okay.” Just that? That’s all he had to say about this situation?
“It’s not okay!” You huffed, “She hates my guts. The only reason she hasn’t killed me yet is because it would displease you.”
“Maybe she wants to be your friend now.” Luffy suggested with a shrug. “She’s cool.” You tried not to let your envy get the better of you at Luffy’s words. Tried not to let your mind work and work on it…
But what if he loved her back? What if he loved her more than you? She was beautiful--fit and you just--you weren’t. What if Luffy wanted that over you?
No. No you knew that wasn’t true. Would never be true. Hancock was a friend in Luffy’s eyes, nothing more.
“Hancock doesn’t have friends. She has allies and she has enemies.” You continued to disagree with your captain. “I am currently enemy number one on this island to her because she wants to have you all to herself.”
“Maybe…but she told me she wishes you could get closer.” You blinked at his words. Closer? What did that mean?
She wants to get closer so she can lower your guard. So that she can turn you to stone like those idiots who drool all over her like dogs.
No. Never. You were her number one enemy and she was yours. You were determined to keep it that way.
Luffy grabbed hold of your hand then, his warm skin pulling you instantly from your spiraling thoughts. “Quick! I smell meat grilling!” And he sharply pulled you through the village.
Tumblr media
“So…you’ll be staying with us till Luffy gets back?” Hancock asked all too timidly after she had returned from dropping Luffy and the Dark Knight himself off on Rusukaina Island. You had stayed behind on the island, watching as they had sailed away. Had stayed on the cliff side feeling all too lost without Luffy by your side. Hadn’t moved till the Snake Princess’ voice sounded in your ears.
“Don’t worry. I’m going to stay in the village far away from you.” You spoke, finally pulling yourself together enough to turn and head back inland.
“Oh but…I have made up a room for you within my castle.” You shot her a bewildered look, finding the woman was keeping her eyes downcast. Finding she was blushing like it was Luffy who was paying attention to her. “But, of course, if you truly wish stay in the village I can have a house readied--”
“Stop.” You snapped, halting your steps to face the princess. She turned her blue eyes up to look at you shyly. Look at you in a way that makes you feel--not how you wanted to feel when being looked at by the woman. “What is wrong with you?” Hancock’s perfectly groomed brows furrowed in confusion.
“I--do not know what you mean.” You crossed the small distance between you two to stare jaggedly up at the annoyingly tall woman. A woman whose breath hitched at the closeness.
“You have to be up to something, right? You’re trying to get me to lower my guard enough so you can swoop in and finally get rid of me. So you can have Luffy all to yourself.” You demanded, not letting up your boiling glare. A glare she only seemed to grow more and more flustered under. “Right? Tell me I’m right.”
“N-No. I--no. You love Luffy.” You--blinked. Was all this just--her acting defeated?
“I--yeah. So?” You didn’t dare let the bite in your voice lessen. Hancock fiddled with her fingers, again those shimmering eyes downward.
“And…I love Luffy.” Anger spiked in your chest so fast it was painful.
“No. You don’t.” Hancock met your gaze then. Met it with that burning intensity and stubbornness you hadn’t seen directed at you in a while, but it was an all too familiar gaze. One that had your muscles tensing, readying for an attack.
“Of course I do. But…” She hesitated, eyes going wide as if she was remembering who she was talking to. A hesitation you only grew irritated at.
“But? What? Spit it out.” Hancock seemed to whimper at your tone. A pitiful thing--like some scared child who was getting punished by their parents.
“But I--I love you too.” She got out on a rushed bit of air, cheeks turning so red they almost blended into her hardly covering outfit.
You--didn’t know what to say. What to even think. All you could do was stand there, mouth a gap as you stared up at the princess in complete and utter shock.
“Uh--you--what?” Hancock nodded smally.
“Yes. It’s true. I thought I despised you. Thought you were stealing Luffy from me when--when really he is for both of us. Just as I am for both of you. And you for both Luffy and I.” She explained. An explanation that did nothing but hurt your brain. “We three--we belong together. I love you both.”
“AH--stop. Oh gods please stop.” You plead. “You can’t--you don’t love me, Hancock. You’re confused.” Before you could even stop talking, Hancock was gasping sharply, a delicate hand shooting upward to cover her mouth.
“You--you said my name.” Again you stood there all too confused.
“I--yeah. Want me to call you something else.” Hancock was on the verge of tears, she looked so happy.
“You can call me anything you like, my love.”
“Oh gods.” You moaned, turning on your heels to start marching quickly to the village.
No, no, no. There was no way this was happening. How the hell did she even get that in her mind? That you three were meant to be together?
She was more delusional than you had originally thought.
“Oh! Wait for me, dear!” Hancock called, the sound of quickened footsteps following after you. “Shall we talk about plans for our wedding now or should we wait for Luffy to return?” She asked, slowly once at your side to match your steps. “Yes. Yes, you're right. We should wait.”
This was going to be a very, very long two years.

You love Luffy, you really do. But God, he’s so dense it hurts. Right now, he’s being fed by none other than the Kuja Empress herself, Boa Hancock. She even learned how to cook meat, just for Luffy!
Yeah, you can stand your ground in terms of attractiveness. But with the most beautiful woman? Yeah no, you’d wither away like a speck of dust.
You’re glad that Boa finds Luffy attractive. But at the same time sad. Luffy is handsome and strong. It makes sense that he’ll need a partner that can be on his level. And well, you’re quite far from it.
It doesn’t help that Luffy is oblivious to all this! Yes, Luffy is way smarter than he looks. And yes, he can be serious sometimes. But what does he know about love? He’s like a newborn child when it comes to it. If it weren’t for Robin pushing him to confess, you would’ve imploded!
It also doesn’t help that when the pirate empress first saw you, she was…disgusted. And when she looked back at Luffy, her heart and eyes went back. Not to mention, you also had a lesser portion of food being given to you.
Finally having enough, you left the scene and went back to you and Luffy’s shared room. You contemplated whether to just sleep at the ship for the rest of the week or stay in the castle.
Tumblr media
You lay down on the futon, looking at the blank ceiling. Light filled the corner of your eyes. Standing there was Luffy and meat in his mouth.
He entered the room and closed the door. The two of you were silent, and an uncomfortable aura filled the area. Luffy swallowed the meat whole and then spoke, “Are you ok, Y/n?” You shifted your body and positioned it to stare at Luffy. “Of course, why would you think that?”
He tilted his head to the side and crossed his arms, “Well you seemed down when we were eating…was it because I stole all your food?!” He laughed, “You gotta be quick next time, Y/n.”
“I guess so,” you said. Your voice was dry and had no feelings. You shifted your weight back to your original position, and once again, looked at the ceiling.
Luffy frowned at your reaction and used his gum-gum fruit to snatch you out of the bed.
You gave out a little squeak and gasped, “Luffy!”
“Are you mad at me, Y/n?” He asked, pouting, “I’ll try not to steal your food anymore, ok?”
You smiled a bit from his gestures, “I’m not mad at you, Luffy. Just tired.”
“Really? But we’re having fun downstairs.”
“Well, you can go back down, Luffy. I’m not gonna stop you.”
Luffy looked at you for a while and finally spoke, “Nah.” He held your bridal style and went to the futon. He put the two futons close together and dropped you on top.
“Luffy?”
“Sanji said that if a woman is sad then you should spend time with them. So, I’m gonna cuddle with you tonight, Y/n!” He gave you a flashy smile and wrapped his rubber arms around you three times.
Tumblr media
Morning came and you woke up from the sun shining on your eyes. You looked beside you and noticed Luffy still asleep, his hair was a mess, his mouth was wide open, and his arms were tightly wrapped around you.
You blushed from what you remembered last night and opted to wake up Luffy. But, you never had a day as peaceful as this. And so, you went back from your sleep and embraced him, once again.

Chapter 3: Cruel
Time flew as you became more and more closer to Luffy and his friend group. Warming up to you and you to them as well. Not just was their influence impacting you and your confidence, you finally had a sense of belonging in this place .
After certain events last year, you serious considered transferring schools. Losing the few friendships and such an important person to you, just to be replaced by all of them in less than a month, teared your little heart. The only factor preventing you from asking your parents to transfer you, which they wouldn’t have minded at all considering you never bother them for anything ever, was the scholarship you were guaranteed to obtain if you graduated from Grand Line Academy.
The heart break was devastating but you also couldn’t allow yourself to throw all your hard work and efforts, making them be in vain for some stupid jerk who couldn’t appreciate you.
You were glad you didn’t make the decision to transfer.
For too long, you had been trapped in a cycle of loneliness and depression, hurting over the memories of your past relationship. It had been a dark period, filled with endless days of feeling isolated and unseen. But now, with Luffy and your friends, your life had taken on a vibrant new hue.
“Hey, Y/N! Catch!" Luffy's voice broke through your thoughts, and you looked up just in time to see a soccer ball hurtling towards you. With a quick reflex, you caught it.
“Nice catch!" Usopp called out, giving you a thumbs up from where he was sprawled on the grass.
“Thanks," you replied, tossing the ball back to Luffy with a little more force than necessary, causing him to stumble. You laughed as he regained his balance, shooting you a playful glare.
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and you all began to gather your things. As you walked back to the school building, You felt a nice warmth wave in your chest. This was what you been missing, this sense of belonging, of being part of something more than just by yourself.
In class, Luffy sat behind you, occasionally poking you with a pencil to get your attention. Nami, who sat next to you, would roll her eyes at his antics but couldn't hide her smile at how cute you guys would tease each other. Even the most mundane classes felt more bearable with one of more of your friends around.
You had blossomed in this new environment, your confidence growing each day. You were no longer the quiet, withdrawn girl from before. Now, you walked the halls with your head held high, your beauty and charisma catching attention as time went by.
After school, your adventures continued. Whether it was racing to the arcade, lounging at the beach, or simply hanging out at the local café, every day was filled with laughter and camaraderie. Zoro and Sanji’s constant bickering, Robin’s quiet yet comforting presence, and Chopper’s endearing innocence added to the lively tapestry of their lives. As well as the chaotic actions of the others.
One afternoon, as you were walking to the park, you decided to have a little fun. You stealthily moved behind Luffy and tugged on his hat, pulling it over his eyes. “Hey! Who turned out the lights?” Luffy exclaimed, flailing his arms around comically. You stealthily moved behind Luffy, then, with a swift motion, jumped onto his back, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. “Hey! What the—” Luffy exclaimed, stumbling slightly under the unexpected weight.
“Gotcha,” You laughed, your breath warm against his ear. you held on tight, feeling the solid muscles of his shoulders and the warmth of his body.
Luffy grinned, his hands coming up to hold your legs for support. “You’re gonna pay for that, Y/N!” he declared, his voice full of playful threat.
“Oh yeah? How?” you teased, leaning closer, your lips brushing against his ear as you whispered.
Luffy’s face turned a slight shade of red, but he kept his grin. “Like this!” With a sudden movement, he shifted your weight, sending you both tumbling to the ground in a fit of laughter.
As you reached the park, the group spread out, some heading for the swings, others setting up an playing soccer on the side. You, still giggling from your little teasing on Luffy, felt a surge of happiness. You were becoming more known throughout the school now, not just for your looks, but for your lively spirit and newfound confidence.
“Y/N’s really changed huh,”Nami said, joining Robin on a bench, who was calming looking over some musical sheets.
“Yeah,” Robin agreed, her eyes on you and Luffy as he tried to balance on a seesaw. “She’s out of her shell.”
Nami smiled, squeezing Robin’s arm to regain her attention back. “So you will not guess what happened yesterday when Vivi came over…”
Their days continued—filled with silly hangouts, spontaneous adventures, and the normalcy of high school life. You knew there would be some challenges ahead, especially academic ones but with Luffy and your friends support, you felt ready. For the first time in a long while, you were truly happy.
The halls of the school were unusually quiet as you made your way back to class, having spent the past hour helping a teacher with some errands. You enjoyed the occasional solitude. Your thoughts were still on the fun had y’all shared earlier in the park, your mind filled with Luffy’s laughter and the warmth of his embrace.
As you rounded a corner, your peace was disturbed. Standing in the middle of the hallway, leaning against a row of lockers, was Boa Hancock. Known for her stunning beauty and equally sharp tongue, Hancock was probably the most known girl in the entire school, mostly for glamorous looks, destined for a future in modeling. Honestly you might’ve had a slight crush on her during your freshman year. You didn’t know if it was a sense of desiring her or having admiration for her beauty. Nethertheless, it went away as you silently noted her really rude behavior once or twice before.
She fixed you with a piercing gaze, her eyes filled with a mixture of disdain and something else—jealousy, perhaps?
“Oh my god! if it isn’t the girl who can’t keep her hands off my man," Hancock sneered, pushing off the lockers and sauntering over, her movements graceful and calculated.
You straightened, your confidence momentarily faltering under Hancock’s scrutiny. "Excuse me?” you answered back, trying to keep your tone neutral.
Hancock crossed her arms, looking you up and down with critical eyes. “You’ve been getting pretty cozy with Luffy, haven’t you? It’s pathetic how you throw yourself at him. You look so desperate.
You bristled at the insinuation but kept your composure. "Um. We’re just friends."
Hancock’s lips curved into a mocking smile. "Friends? From where I’m standing, it looks like you’re acting like a total slut. Especially since I’m dating him."
You felt a cold chill run down your spine at Hancock’s words. You opened your mouth to retort but found yourself momentarily speechless. The accusation stung, but what hit harder was the claim that Hancock was dating Luffy. You knew Luffy could be oblivious, but could he really have hidden something like that from you? And why did he always refer to Hancock as just a friend? You didn’t know whether that was true or not, but a wave of reality struck you and made you insanely guilty for having made moves or touches with him before.
“Don’t look so surprised," Hancock continued, her voice softening slightly but not losing its edge. "Luffy deserves better than some desperate girl who doesn’t know her place."
Your hands clenched into fists at your sides. You took a deep breath, steadying yourself. "I don’t know what you think you’ve seen, Hancock, but I’ve never thrown myself at Luffy. We’re just friends. And if he hasn’t mentioned you, maybe you should ask yourself why."
Hancock’s eyes flashed with anger, but before she could respond, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed down the hall. You turned to see Nami and Zoro coming towards you, their expressions immediately hardening when they saw the two of your speaking.
“Hey Y/N, Hancock.” Nami greeted, stepping in, kind of protectively beside you.
“Just having a friendly chat," Hancock said smoothly, though her eyes never left Y/N’s. "Remember what I said, Y/N.”
With that, Hancock turned on her heel and walked away, her gorgeous long black hair swaying elegantly behind her. You watched her go, a mixture of anger and confusion churning in your chest. Why would Luffy not mention dating Hancock if it was true? And why did he always talk about Hancock as if she were just a good friend?
Nami placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. “Hey what happened? Was she bothering or something.”
“No, it’s fine. She didn’t do anything to me. But I’m so confused. Are her and Luffy actually dating?”
Nami and Zoro exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter. You frowned, feeling a mix of confusion and irritation.
“Seriously? She said that?" Zoro managed to say between chuckles.
Nami wiped a tear from her eye. "Oh, Y/N, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Luffy doesn’t give a damn about dating. He’s as oblivious as they come."
You bit your lip. "So, they’re not dating?"
“Not even close," Nami confirmed, still smiling. "Hancock might like to think she’s dating Luffy, but trust me, he’s completely unaware of it."
Zoro leaned back against the lockers, shaking his head. "Luffy’s got his mind on food and soccer. Romance isn’t even on his radar. She’s delusional and she thinks they’re dating because of this one time they—“
“And honestly, Y/N, you might be a little delusional too. Luffy friend-zoned Hancock harshly a long time ago without even knowing he did." Nami interrupted while slamming Zoro’s arm harshly
You were confused at the remark but felt a wave of relief and a twinge of embarrassment. "I guess I got a bit carried away," you admitted, your face warming.
Nami patted your shoulder reassuringly. "Don’t worry about it. Hancock likes to stir up shit all the time, just a drama queen. And honestly, Luffy’s clueless. He only thinks of her as a friend."
With that reassurance, you felt a bit more at ease. Whatever Hancock’s motives are, you knew you have your friends with you and that Luffy’s obliviousness wasn’t personal. It was just part of who he was.
Zoro nodded. “if she’s really dating Luffy, I’m a monkey’s uncle."
You managed a weak smile at that. "Haha, okay then.”
As you walked back to class together though, you couldn’t help but replay Hancock’s words in her mind.
While you do have a small (not really..) crush on Luffy, were you really throwing yourself that much at him?
Her words made you insecure. Is that what you look like? DESPERATE?
You sighed. You haven’t told anyone yet about your little crush on the particular silly dude, well besides your private small social media audience, but you were worried. Like, was it really that obvious?
You also noted Nami and Zoro’s words from before and their implications, “you might be a little delusional too.” and the “you got nothing to worry about.” Did they know already? You mentally groaned, trying to drown out the heavy embarrassment you felt.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. You couldn’t focus in class, your mind tangled in a mess of thoughts and the new insecurity of being interpreted as “desperate” and touchy. When the final bell rang, you quickly gathered your things and headed for the spot where you knew your friends would be hanging out with the rest of the crew. A little feeling of just distancing yourself and taking a different route than normal arising though. You felt a pang of longing mixed with uncertainty. You liked Luffy a lot but didn’t want to weird him out or come across as desperate.
You greeted everyone with a smile but found yourself lingering on the outskirts of the group. You laughed at their jokes and joined in the conversation, but you made a conscious effort to keep yourinteractions with Luffy to a minimum.
Luffy, as usual, seemed oblivious to the subtle shift. He glanced at you a few times, his brow furrowing in brief confusion, but quickly brushed it off, focusing back on the group’s antics.
Sanji noticed your quieter demeanor and gave you a concerned look. "You alright, Y/N?" he asked, handing you a snack he had saved.
You forced a smile. "Yeah, I’m good. Just tired, I guess."
Sanji nodded, though he didn’t seem entirely convinced. "If you need anything, I’m here for you.
As you continued their walk, you couldn’t help but feel the distance growing between you and Luffy, not physically but emotionally. It was hard pretending everything was normal when all you wanted was to be close to him. But you resolved to play it cool, hoping that, in time, things would fall into place.
-
Things did not fall into place following. Infact, they got ultimately worse. Your peace had been disturbed by cruel girls who didn’t have anything better to do with their lives than make other people’s worse.
With Hancock’s words creating insecurities and adding distance to you and Luffy’s relationship over the past following weeks, she took the initiative to get closer to him.
Although the rest of the gang weren’t particularly fond of her, especially Nami and Robin, whom Hancock felt threatened by for some reason. They still withstood her presence since she was a friend’s of Luffy.
Hancock didn’t even acknowledge your presence and even made mocking intimate moves on Luffy, you assumed it was to get a reaction out of you, and Luffy being completely clueless and instead, following along.
It really irritated you, especially with learning that they’re actually rather close friends due to Hancock helping Luffy in a very difficult situation involving his older brother, whom you also never heard about until right now.
After learning of those facts, you zoned out all other thoughts and continued your studying with Chopper instead of involving in conversation. Studying and being on top of your studies was the only way to distract yourself from the boiling, almost spilling over jealousy brewing inside of you.
You acknowledge that you and Luffy were just simply good friends, but it hurt, knowing that such a stunning girl, someone who you had no competition to compete with, also harbored the same feeling as you for him. Even more with the intimacy they shared, I mean she has had to already met his family if she knows his older brother. Meanwhile, you have no idea what his life is life outside of school, soccer and the hang outs. It’s almost like you had no chance now.
That wasn’t what made matters worse, however. It was the fact that you didn’t realize that Hancock Boa and another certain green haired snake bitch were good friends.
It was a few days ago when you were heading to the courtyard where you usually met up with the gang during lunch now that the weather’s nicer. You were looking forward to some of Sanji’s homemade dishes again until you noticed the 2 girls walking ahead of you.
Boa Hancock and Monet were walking together, attached to the hip, by the fountain, chatting animatedly. The sight made your stomach drop.
"Since when are those two friends?" you muttered under your breath, ducking behind a nearby tree to observe them. It wasn’t long before you pieced two and two together. Your stomach dropped coming up with the conclusion that Monet, whom was close friends with your ex-boyfriend , could possible have shared everything about your harsh and private situation with Hancock. The worst.
Your heart pounded in your chest as the realization sank in. If Monet had told Hancock, it was only a matter of time before it became hot gossip for the entire school.
As you approached the usual meeting spot, your mind raced with anxiety. What if Hancock used that information against her? What if she tells the others and they believe her without knowing your side of the story? What if Luffy thinks differently of you? thoughts were almost too much to bear. You were sick to your stomach, you headed out of the garden and on to the nurses office, where you skipped class and remained for the rest of the day in. Texting the others and apologizing for not being with them, stating you felt nauseous and puked earlier.
Those thoughts didn’t stop, provoking you and making you over think nonstop, even more. It wasn’t until you were at home, ready for bed, after hours of lying there staring at the ceiling that your eyes finally got tired, did the thoughts stop.
It was saturday morning, and no school to remind you of your previous overthinking from before. While the light stomach feeling was there, you brushed it off and continued with your morning routine of eating breakfast with your family and brushing your teeth.
You opened your phone with multiple texts from your friend’s Group chat and some seperate texts from Nami asking if you’re feeling better & if you’re gonna tag along with them as well as what you’re gonna wear.
Your friends had planned to meet up later at this new sushi place they opened up near the area. You felt bad for ditching yesterday during lunch so you gathered up the courage to get out of bed and fix yourself up to go.
Much to your dismay, Hancock was already there, sitting in the bus stop booth with a smug look on her face. You didn’t know who invited her since there was no notification or record that she was invited to the group chat, where all the details of the meet up are in, but you lightly cursed them.
"Y/N," Hancock greeted, her tone dripping with false sweetness. "I see you’re gonna be bothering us today."
You forced a smile. "Hey, Hancock. Waiting for the others?"
"Yes," Hancock replied, her smile turning sharp. "And it looks like we are alone right now. I was meaning to let you know something.”
Your stomach churned. "About what?"
Hancock took a step closer, her eyes narrowing. "About how you should be ashamed of yourself."
Your breath hitched. "What are you talking about?"
"Oh, come on, Y/N. Don’t play dumb," Hancock sneered. "I know everything about what happened with your ex. You really think you deserve someone like Luffy after that mess?"
Your heart sank. So, it happened. Monet had shared the details of YOUR breakup with Hancock. You felt a wave of anger and betrayal wash over you. “That’s none of your business, Hancock."
"None of my business?" Hancock echoed with a mocking laugh. "Please. It’s everyone’s business when you’re trying to worm your way into Luffy’s life. You don’t deserve him. If you cheated once, you’ll do it again. and Luffy doesn’t deserve a whore.”
You digged your nails into your palms, struggling to keep your composure. "You don’t know the whole story or the truth.”
"Maybe not," Hancock conceded, "but I know enough. And so will everyone else if you don’t back off from Luffy."
At that moment, the rest of the crew started to arrive, their laughter and chatter filling the air. Hancock’s expression shifted back to its usual charm, playing innocent and unaware, leaving you fuming and on edge.
As the group gathered, Luffy noticed your tense demeanor. "Hey, Y/N, you okay?"
You forced another smile, not wanting to worry him. "Yeah, I’m fine. Just a long day."
But inside, you were reeling. Hancock’s words had struck a nerve, and now you had to figure out what would you even tell your friends, Luffy, if it is that they hear Hancock’s words without your explanation.

Through the good graces of our girl Nami, she let you have one of her precious tangerines, but you don’t want to peel it so instead you go to bug one of your crewmate’s.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Nami, Nico Robin, Vivi, Boa Hancock, Perona
———————————————————————
Nami:
Ngl I think she’d be really offended if you tried to ask her to peel it for you
She’s already given you the tangerine so you’re really pushing your luck
But if Nami really likes you she’s do it for you
It would be super clean, she’d be able to peel it off in one long strip
“There you go, now that’ll be ten thousand beris! 😁✨”
Robin:
She’d be reading when you asked her
She’ll nod but make two hands appear out of the wall to peel it for you
You can try to start a conversation but she’s too invested in the book to hear you
Vivi:
She’d be telling you about a meeting she had when you ask her if she could peel it for you
Without skipping a beat she’ll peel the orange as she keeps talking, handing you each slice piece by piece
Might accidentally eat a slice if she’s really into what she’s saying
Realized she ate one of your orange slices and apologizes profusely
Boa Hancock:
“HOW DARE YOU ASK ME TO PEEL A FRUIT FOR YOU, SWINE!” *pose*
Yeah, sorry Hancock lovers this woman is absolutely not peeling any fruit
It’s me I’m Hancock lovers
Unless you’re Luffy but internally she’d be grossed out by the feeling of it under her nails
At the very least she’ll have someone else peel if for you (if you’re lucky)
Perona:
Definitely not happening
You better be super-super-duper cute to even hope that this girl would peel an orange for you
“Oh, what’s this? My hand’s going right through the orange! Oh well, too bad, so sad. Looks like you’ll have to peel it yourself! Horo-horo-horo!”

You didn't know what happened after you were forced to leave the arena. You were placed on a cell with two of your fellow warriors guarding as you waited for the outcome of the battle.
"Please! Atleast tell me, Is Marguerite alright...? What about the other two? Sweet Pea and Aphelandra..? Are they alright.?"
"I'm sorry, (Name). But we can't disclose anything to you. All we can say is that the Gorgon sisters are battling that strange man as we speak..."
You sat there in the cell for what it felt like hours. You didn't know what had happened until you were finally allowed to be freed.
However, as soon as you left your cell, you found yourself face to face with one of the Gorgon sister, Boa Sandersonia towered over your form as she gestured you to follow her.
"(Name), Our older sister ordered for you to appear before her."
"May I ask the reason why?"
"You'll see when you get there."
You can see how hesistant her tone was as she refused to look at you in the eye. By her body language alone, you can tell how uneasy and nervous she was being. So to avoid making her uncomfortable, you decided to refrain from talking until you reached the snake princess' bed chambers.
"Oh! It's you!"
Luffy pointed his finger towards you as soon as you entered. His shock expression soon changed to excitement and relief, a grin appearing on his face.
"You're okay! I got worried when they took you away, glad to see that you're not hurt."
You gave him a gentle smile of acknowledgement before focusing your attention towards your empress who sat on her snake, Salome. She was staring directly at you, observing your interaction with the only man in the room.
"Come closer, the two of you..."
She commanded. Unlike Luffy, who approached her without any care, you cautiously took a step forward, expecting for a scolding, a punishment even.
Only for your eyes to widen in shock as she revealed her bare back on to the two of you.
"Snake Princess, but that's-! What about the curse..?!"
You immediately shielded your eyes. Hers and her sisters' backs are a sensitive subject that the whole island knew about. And here she was revealing it for you to see, was this your punishment? For you to turn to stone for disobeying her orders and allowing Luffy to live? Even going far to defending him back at the arena.
"I trust you, (Name). And it is about time you know the truth..."
There on her back, was a symbol dyed in red, circular center with four triangles resembling a claw. At that moment, you see how her shoulders trembled as you observe her mark.
"Is...is it alright for you to show it to us...? my empress, it is something you forbit anyone from discovering..."
You can see how it pained not only her but also Marigold and Sandersonia. Grandma Nyon encouraged to reveal the story, and after a few moments, you finally understood everything.
It was the mark of authority far more superior than of the Pirate Empress. The Celestial Dragon's mark, specifically the mark of slaves that belongs. Everything she experienced and the sufferings she has to endure with her sisters, she revealed it all to you and Luffy.
You stayed silent as Luffy was escorted out, him being invited to the banquet that was host whenever the Kuja Pirates return to the Island with a huge haul. You stayed behind as you felt like you shouldn't leave Hancock alone after everything that had been revealed.
"Has your view of me changer after finding out that I was a former slave...?"
"Can I really speak out my thoughts, Snake Princess? My most honest thoughts?"
You asked, revealing her secret doesn't mean that you should carelessly speak up. Boa Hancock is still the Empress of Amazon Lily, the ruler of the land you were born in.
"I will allow it."
"Then, I will reply with a No....No, I don't think any lesser of you, my empress. In fact, I think....that for to you endure such torment and rise above it is truly admirable. My respect for you just got deepened."
You spoke with true genuine in your tone. Yes, you were anguished with what you just heard. The sufferings of the people who look up upon brought pain in your heart.
"I think that...your past doesn't defy who you are. It just shows how truly strong you are."
For the first time in your life, in years of serving the Pirate Empress. This was the first time you ever saw her smile with tears in her eyes.
Tumblr media
It was then night time when Hancock dismissed you from your duties, having kept you around for a longer conversation. You found out the truth about your mother, yet you only found yourself slightly upset. You don't really remember what she look like nor what her personality were when she was alive, however, you could still remember the warmth she emitted whenever both of you share a tender embrace as she on board the empress' ship.
Hancock's attitude around you seems to have slightly changed now. She was more vocal of what she feels and treats you better than she did before, asking for your opinions and outlook of the village. The conversation began changing to how managing the island whenever she was out.
"As you now know, my presence here is somehow a threat. I'm a pirate with a bounty so great, continue doing your duties as usual."
She was more comfortable with you now. Just by thinking about it, made you smile as you nodded at her orders. Eager to aid her with everything.
"Yes, my empress... You can always rely on me."
you immediately went back to the village where the banquet is being held. Now in a more casual clothing, you entered the room and immediately sense the tense atmosphere among the women present there.
The center of their attention was Luffy who was sitting, eating his heart out as dishes were served on his table.
"What's going on?"
"(Name) is it really okay for a man to be present on the homecoming banquet.?"
One of the warriors asked, a look of concern is visible on her face, glancing at Luffy with skeptism.
"The Snake Princess already favors him, therefore we will treat Luffy with hospitality."
Just as you said that, Luffy stood up on the table with a ladle and wok pan, demanding that the women should sing and dance since it is a banquet.
A small smile made way on to your lips, covering them as you let a small giggle of amusement.
In that instant, the atmosphere changed into a lively one with the women eventually joining in, copying Luffy as he danced and pranced around.
Lively to the point, they all got comfortable around him.
"Hey now. Everyone, that's enough."
You scolded, seeing how they all gotten too comfortable around him to the point they all have been reaching towards his rubbery skin.
"Hey!"
Soon you found yourself looking for Luffy as the women all went after him in hopes of touching his skin.
"There you are, Luffy..."
You found him crouching on a building roof. As soon as you said that, his long rubbery arms stretched and grabbed you by your waist towards him.
"Geez...What's the matter with you guys?!"
"I apologize on their behalf. It's just... we barely seen a man this close before..."
You gave him an apologetic smile. Seeing that, he soon let out a laugh as he told you that it was fine.
"I never really got to thank you for defending me in that arena earlier."
"I...just did what I thought was right...."
You told him, slightly ashamed on your actions yet you never regretted it. Yes, you felt guilty for disobeying the Snake Princess, but you couldn't find it in yourself to just allow them to kill Luffy when it wasn't his fault that he ended up stranded on your Island.
"Say Luffy...What does the outside world looks like...?"
You asked. Your curiosity resurfaced after many years of trying to supress it, was it because of Luffy being here? But after becoming Boa Hancock's closest aid, you devoted yourself to follow every command without questions. Your loyalty overcame the curiosity about the world outside of Amazon Lily.
"Are....the seas really that vast? Are there really more islands out there?"
Back then, Hancock barely spoke to you and you could only rely on either Sandersonia or Marigold to tell you all about what they had seen while traveling through the seas. Brief conversations that could never satisfy you. It was thirst of wanting something that you know you will never have.
After all you have a duty to serve and protect Amazon Lily as it's devoted warrior.
"I dunno. Our adventures are always been exciting that I never really cared how big the sea is. But I do know that the Grandline is huge! I can't wait to sail and see everything with my crew!"
Luffy told you about his recent adventures. From his entry to the grandline, meeting Laboon the huge whale, up to his battles on Thriller Bark.
"There are Islands in the sky?!"
"Yeah! I even beated up this guy with long earlobes!"
"Woah..!"
Luffy grinned as he stared at your sparkling eyes that was looking back at him with wonder and admiration. He was reminded of Chopper just by staring at you. He wanted to see his crew badly now.
"I'll sail through these seas and become the King of Pirates!"
"I'm sure that you'll be able to do it!"
You encouraged, getting all hyped up from just his words alone. Luffy's aura reminded you of the sun and its brightness. That's how you felt just being near him.
Warmth.
"You know, you could just get on board that pirate ship your Empress have. You'll see how big the grandline is, with your own eyes."
You faltered at his words, he seem to have noticed and started to frown.
"What's wrong?"
"I just....feel like I have a sense of duty to stay here. And the snake princess said it herself. I'm not ready to leave the Island just yet."
"Why? You're already strong..."
"I can't disobey the Snake Princess, Luffy..."
Why can't you disobey? Was it because obeying her was something that you already drilled into your mind at a young age...? Or is it because you can't make decisions for yourself without having someone tell you what to do.
You grew up never knew how to say 'No'. It was always you doing what you have been told without ever complaining whether the task is easy or difficult. Because you hated to disappoint not only your Empress but also your fellow warriors.
"I see..."
Luffy just looked at you as if he already knows what was going on, yet he didn't say anything. His eyes stared at your tense and slightly trembling form. He then went through his pockets and pulled out a chunk of meat that he managed to save right before he was chased after by the Kujas.
"I do what I wanna do, I'm captain of my ship. Not even my crew can stop me!....Well maybe Nami. She's scary like a demon."
He took a huge bite before looking back at you with a grin. Seeing bits of meat stuck on his teeth made you laugh slightly. Luffy is really is a silly man.
"It doesn't hurt not to listen all the time. You went to defend me even when you know that you'll be in trouble. You do what you think is right!"
Your words from earlier came back towards you. You couldn't help but grew fond of him, hearing his somehow meaningful words as he feasted on the meat was holding without a care in the world.
He doesn't even seems to realize the effect his words he had on you.
"Thank you, Luffy...."
You stood up from your place and immediately waved discreetedly towards Marguerite who spotted you right away.
"Hey...! What are you doing?!.... They might see me and chase me again...!"
"You need a place to hide, right? Don't worry, Marguerite knows what to do. She'll take you there."
Tumblr media
When Luffy came back from Marineford, he was gravely injured. You could only watch from the distance as the men wearing white boiler suits docked at the far side of the Island.
The last time you saw him was when he left in a hurry to save his brother Ace from execution. Your Empress gave you a brief summary of what had happened and gave you temporary management of the warriors while her and her sisters sailed off.
"(Name)...Keep watch over those men on the far side of the Island. Report back once Luffy regain conciousness...please..."
The Snake Princess looks very distraught, so you immediately agreed upon hearing her request. Not a command, but a request. You could never deny a request.
Two weeks. That was how long you kept watch. The warriors back at the village would often bring you meals. By following the rules with the exception of Luffy, you kept your distance from the men and hid on top of trees.
Eventually, Luffy woke up. You were happy and was about to report until you noticed something odd.
Luffy went on a rampage.
"Hey...Can you report this to the Snake Princess in my stead? Tell her that Luffy regained conciousness..."
You asked a fellow Kuja who happens to be nearby. From the distance you could hear distant shouting of intense agony and destruction.
"Luffy!"
You stood on top of a tree branch, watching in absolute shock, as Luffy destroys everything around him. Trees and boulders. Nothing was left untouched. You began to worry that he might reopen his wounds.
Fortunately, the blue fish-man managed to calm him down. But the sight of Luffy crying made you feel a sudden ache from within too. As if you could feel his pain. Luffy lost his brother, and it somehow hurt you too.
"It must have hurt so much....doesn't it...Luffy?"
You were hurting for him. You want him to show his usual sunshine smile like he always have. Crying is not something you want to see Luffy do yet you don't even know how to comfort him.
"I want to approach and say something but..."
You weren't naive. You know of the snake princess' illness and how much she needs Luffy if she wants to live long. So to spare your own feelings you decided at that moment, to stay away from him even after growing so fond of him. How much you wanted to be there for him now that he needed someone to lean on as he suffers.
"The....empress' happiness comes first..."
So now, you could only watch on a distance as your heart breaks from hearing his cries.

Chapter 9: United Against the Tide
Y/N POV..
"Hey, Chopper!" I called out, pointing to a distant plume of smoke rising from the ground. "You see that over there?"
Chopper squinted, his eyes widening. "You don't think that's...?"
"There's no doubt. Let's hurry before it's too late!"
"Right!" Chopper agreed, and his bird companion soared swiftly towards the source of the destruction.
As we neared the smoke, I peered down and spotted three small figures running frantically. "There! It's them!" I exclaimed. "But it looks like the Navy is closing in on the other side."
Just as I was about to draw my sword, I noticed ghostly figures moving toward them. One by one, the marines collapsed, their morale shattered.
"I'm worthless, less than a flea," one of the marines muttered dejectedly.
"Hey Chopper, I’m heading down there. I’ve found them." Without waiting for a response, I leapt off the bird and landed safely on the ground below.
As I approached, I recognized the unmistakable figure of Perona, who was currently calling out Zoro. "The least you could do is be gracious!" she scolded him.
Zoro hesitated, clearly uncomfortable as the truth of how he arrived on the island first came to light.
To the right, I noticed Sanji getting way too close to Perona. His usual suave expression instantly vanished as he pleaded, "Take me!" His giddiness was short-lived, though, as Perona launched another attack, leaving him with his morale in tatters.
"I'm lower than earthworm poop..." Sanji mumbled, staring at the ground in defeat.
I stepped forward, taking in the scene. "Yeah, Zoro, the least you can do is be gracious," I said with a smirk.
Zoro, Luffy, and Perona all turned to face me. The moment Luffy saw me, his face lit up with pure joy.
"Y/N!!!" Luffy yelled, sprinting toward me and wrapping me in a tight hug.
I laughed, jumping up and down with him. "Luffy, how are you, big guy? I’ve missed you so much!" I giggled, overwhelmed with happiness at seeing my crewmate again.
"Alright, you guys, Chopper's here, so let's get out of here," I said with a smile, trying to lighten the mood. Luffy and Zoro headed up to Chopper without hesitation.
Just as I was about to climb on, I felt a hand grab my wrist, spinning me around. It was Sanji. His usually confident demeanor was replaced by uncertainty as he softly called my name, "Y/N..." His voice trembled as if he feared I might disappear again.
I met his gaze, seeing the worry and heartbreak in his eyes. It tore at me, but I couldn’t let it show. Not now. "Now's not the time, Sanji," I said gently but firmly, my heart clenching as I watched his expression falter. "We’ll have that discussion when we get back to the ship."
He hesitated, his grip on my wrist tightening for a moment as if he wanted to say something more, but he held back. Finally, he released me, a look of quiet resignation on his face. "Alright...," he whispered, his voice barely audible, before nodding and turning away, his shoulders slumped in defeat.
I watched him climb onto the bird with the rest of the crew, his usual lively spirit dulled. My heart ached as I followed, silently vowing that we would talk later, even if it meant reopening wounds that hadn’t fully healed.
As we headed back to the ship, the tension lingered in the air, unspoken words hanging between us, waiting for the right moment to be addressed.
We finally made our way back to the ship, the sight of the Thousand Sunny bringing a sense of relief. As we approached, I waved at the crew, spotting Brook among them. "Brook!" I called out, smiling widely.
Brook, with tears forming in his eye sockets, waved back enthusiastically. "Together again! Oh, I’ve longed for this day!"
But as I glanced around, I noticed Sanji was no longer by my side. My attention was quickly drawn to Chopper’s panicked voice. "He’s hemorrhaging!"
I turned just in time to see Sanji, pale and barely conscious, slowly collapsing into the seawater. With an exasperated sigh, I muttered, "Looks like he hasn’t changed at all," clearly annoyed but concerned nonetheless.
We all finally disembarked from the bird and landed on the ship. Chopper thanked the bird, adding, "Tell everyone in the Birdy Kingdom I said hi!"
Luffy was already distracted, marveling at Franky’s cool new features. As I walked towards the main deck, my eyes fell on a vase containing the flowers Law had gifted me, along with the note. A blush crept onto my cheeks. "These are going in my room," I said, smiling to myself.
Brook, standing next to me, let out a cheerful "Yoohoo! Looks like Sanji picked such beautiful roses!"
I turned to my left and saw Usopp trying to snap Sanji out of his fainted state. "Not one but three beautiful women..." Sanji muttered, still in his daze.
Rolling my eyes, I turned back to Brook, a teasing tone in my voice. "Actually, these are from Law."
Brook’s jaw dropped, his skeletal mouth agape in shock. At the same moment, Sanji, hearing my words, bolted upright and darted towards the flowers. "That idiot gifted you flowers?!" he exclaimed, his eyes burning with jealousy and rage.
I couldn’t help but smile, nodding as I watched his reaction. "Yep, and I wonder how he knew I loved roses."
Sanji’s eyes narrowed, but before he could respond, I added, "But it wasn’t just the flowers. It was the note that surprised me." I felt a blush rising to my cheeks again, the memory of the note making my heart flutter.
Sanji’s curiosity piqued, and his jealousy only grew. "What did that note say?" he demanded, his tone both anxious and angry.
I glanced at the note still tucked beside the vase, smiling softly. "That’s between me and Law," I teased, enjoying the way Sanji’s face flushed with both frustration and intrigue.
Sanji grumbled, glaring at the flowers as if they were his sworn enemy, while Brook chuckled beside me. "Yoohoo! Love is truly a battlefield, isn’t it?"
I shook my head, still smiling. "Yeah, it sure is," I agreed, feeling a mix of emotions—amusement, affection, and a hint of something more as I thought of Law.
Just then, a cannonball splashed dangerously close to us, sending waves crashing against the ship. Usopp quickly pulled out his telescope, his voice tinged with urgency. "I see three Navy ships! If we don’t do something now, we’re going to sink!"
I stepped forward, carefully placing the flowers in a safe place. "Let me handle this, guys," I said, determination in my voice as I slowly began to unsheathe my sword. But before I could fully draw it, I noticed something unusual—arrows shot through the air, striking the cannonballs and turning them to stone, which then sank harmlessly into the seawater.
On my far right, I heard someone yell, "Tremor Strike!" and watched in awe as one of the Navy ships was shattered and swallowed by the sea. My eyes widened when I saw King blocking another Marine ship, while another pirate ship which had two snakes with long flowy hair, held off the last one.
"Now, why is King here?" I muttered under my breath, confusion washing over me. Brook and Nami turned to me with equally puzzled expressions.
"Hancock said she wasn’t coming here," said Luffy, his voice carrying a hint of surprise. Usopp and Sanji turned at the mention of her name, both clearly confused.
"I’ll be right back," I said, making a fist with my left hand. With a powerful jump, I soared into the air and landed softly on King’s ship. As I approached him, I asked, "King? What are you doing here?" I was genuinely confused, thinking he had already left by now.
"You forgot this," King said, handing me my backpack.
"Shit! I must have left it when I got off the dock. Thanks, King!" I said, relieved.
"That backpack also holds a few extra weapons in it. Be sure to open it when you get back on board now!" King added with a knowing smile.
"No way!" I said, grinning widely. "You really packed it with extra weapons? That’s amazing!"
As I turned to my left, I saw Marine soldiers swooning over the pirates leader, noticing how it was a ship full of women. "Her name is Boa, and those who fall for her turn to stone unless she grants you mercy," King said, his voice carrying a note of respect as he turned back to me.
"She is very pretty," I admitted with a nod. "But I think I’ll be heading back to my crew now."
With one final hug to King, I clenched my left hand and jumped into the air, heading back to the ship. "Fire! Don’t let her escape! She’s Princess Y/N!" one of the Marines shouted, making me wince at the title.
As they began firing at me, I finally drew my sword, feeling its weight in my hand. "Hey Zoro!" I yelled in the air. "Check this out!" With a swift motion, I pressed the red gem on the hilt, and immediately, flames erupted around the blade. The bullets fired at me were instantly repelled by the fiery aura surrounding the sword, and I redirected them back at the Marines, setting their ship ablaze.
Zoro watched from the deck, his eyes narrowing as he observed your technique. A slow grin spread across his face as he leaned against the ship’s railing, arms crossed. "That’s not just some ordinary sword," he muttered to himself, his tone laced with both curiosity and a hint of admiration. "You’re full of surprises, Y/N."
"And now, one final blow should do the trick!" I said with a smirk, preparing another technique. I swung the sword in a wide arc, creating a flaming crescent that tore through the air, striking the Marine ship and engulfing it in flames. The ship sank into the sea, consumed by the inferno.
Zoro’s eyes followed the arc of the flaming crescent, and he couldn’t help but chuckle, clearly impressed. As I landed back on the deck, Zoro stepped forward, his voice lower and smoother than usual. "You’ve got some serious skills, Y/N. But I have to ask..." he paused, his gaze locking onto yours with a playful glint, "Are you this hot with everything you touch, or is it just that sword?"
I smirked back at him. "Careful, Zoro. You might get burned if you play with fire."
He chuckled, his gaze never leaving yours. "I think I’ll take my chances."
Luffy’s eyes lit up with excitement as he practically bounced over to me, oblivious to the exchange. "Y/N, that sword is awesome! Let me try it!" he exclaimed, reaching out eagerly.
I chuckled, shaking my head as I held the sword close. "Sorry, Luffy, but no one’s allowed to use this sword but me. It’s...special," I explained, trying to keep a serious tone, though Zoro’s lingering gaze made it difficult.
"Aww, come on! Just one swing!" Luffy pouted, but I remained firm, giving him an apologetic smile.
"No can do, Captain. This one’s off-limits," I said, patting the sword’s hilt.
Sanji, having witnessed the entire exchange, stormed over with a scowl on his face. His eyes were locked on Zoro, his expression a mix of irritation and jealousy. "Hey, what’s with the flirting, moss-head?" Sanji demanded, his voice sharp.
Zoro raised an eyebrow, unfazed. "Flirting? I was just admiring Y/N’s skills. Besides, it’s not my fault if your cooking isn’t the only thing that’s gotten hot around here."
Sanji’s eyes narrowed. "Oh, really? Well, I don’t see you making any romantic gestures with a sword, do I?"
Zoro smirked. "At least I’m not swooning over every pretty face that comes our way. Someone’s got to keep things interesting."
Sanji’s face turned a shade redder. "Watch it, swordsman. Not everyone’s trying to impress Y/N with their flashy moves."
"You think you’ve got a monopoly on impressing Y/N?" Zoro shot back, a playful challenge in his voice.
Meanwhile in the Kuja Ship..
Hancock watched with seething jealousy as Luffy was clearly impressed by his crew members skills. The Marine soldiers’ reference to her was "Princess" only fueling her rage. Her eyes narrowed as she saw you.
“Granny Gnoy,” Hancock called out, her voice cold and sharp. “Who is that woman?”
Granny Gnoy, busy with the ship’s affairs, looked up with a resigned sigh. “Snake Princess, her name is Y/N. But with her new title from the all-male island, she now goes by Princess Y/N, at least according to her new wanted poster.”
Hancock’s eyes flared with jealousy. “How does she know Luffy?” Her gaze was fixed on Y/N, who was happily interacting with Luffy and the crew, her irritation growing with every moment.
Granny Gnoy sighed, her expression weary. “She’s part of the Straw Hat crew. She has been for some time.”
Hancock’s eyes widened in disbelief. “WHAT!?”
Granny Gnoy nodded, her tone measured. “Yes, she’s been with them for quite a while. It seems Luffy has grown quite close to her.”
Granny Gnoy continued, “Whenever Luffy talked about his crew, he mentions her name often. And every time you hear a female’s name, you become jealous and try to vie for Luffy’s attention. I’ve seen you do it before.”
Hancock’s anger boiled over, her jealousy palpable. She watched as Y/N laughed, throwing her hands up in defense.
Hancocks Daydream…
Hancock stood on a grand, ornate stage, her flowing gown billowing around her. Luffy stood at the center, casually leaning against a wall with his trademark grin. The setting was a magnificent palace, reflecting Hancock’s grandeur.
Hancock (voice trembling with passion): “So, you’re choosing those three girls over me? How could you?”
Luffy, with a nonchalant smile, shrugged. “You can’t tie me down, Missy. I’m a bad boy. You’re better off without me.”
Hancock’s eyes widened with a mix of shock and determination. She stepped closer, her voice dripping with desperation.
Hancock: “Tell me, Luffy, what is it about me that you don’t like? I can change. I’ll do anything to make you stay.”
Luffy’s grin softened, but he shook his head, still leaning casually against the wall.
Daydream over…
Hancock clenched her fists, her expression a mix of rage and hurt. The sight of Luffy’s admiration for Y/N and the honorific title she carried ignited a fierce protectiveness in her. She could barely contain her frustration as she muttered to herself, “I won’t let her overshadow me. Luffy is mine.”
Y/N POV…
“Alright guys, listen up!” Luffy’s voice rang out with his usual enthusiasm, but there was an edge of sincerity that commanded our attention. Each one of us turned to face him, our expressions reflecting a mix of curiosity and anticipation.
“There’s a lot I want to say, but there’s no time,” Luffy continued, his tone more serious than usual. “What you went through these past two years was selfish of me. I’m sorry for making you wait, and thank you for sticking with me.”
A wave of smiles and knowing glances passed between the crew. His words, though simple, carried the weight of our shared experiences and the trust we had in each other.
As we all absorbed Luffy’s heartfelt apology, the Thousand Sunny began its preparations. The sails were spread out, the ship’s coating was strong and sturdy, and it was clear that we were about to embark on a new adventure.
“LET’S GO!!!” Luffy’s voice erupted with excitement, cutting through the tension. With a cheer from the crew, the ship began its descent, submerging beneath the water’s surface.
I watched with a sense of exhilaration as the world above us faded away, replaced by the vast, mysterious expanse of the underwater world. The Thousand Sunny glided smoothly through the depths, our journey into the unknown officially beginning.
“Hey, Y/N!” I turned around to see Chopper bouncing over, his eyes wide with curiosity. “Yeah, Chopper?” I responded, my attention shifting to him.
“That backpack,” Chopper continued, “what does it contain?”
“Oh right! I almost forgot about this!” I began opening my backpack with a sense of anticipation. Inside, King had truly kept his word. There were special remedies for injuries to heal faster, a couple of books about the island, and two small blades that made me smile. These were the same blades I’d used for training with King.
Flashback Scene:
I stood in a clearing on the island, the sun casting a warm glow on the training grounds. King, in his authoritative yet encouraging manner, demonstrated the techniques with the small blades.
King: “These blades aren’t just for show. They’ll help you hone your skills and protect yourself in any situation.”
I took the blades, feeling the weight of their significance. The training was intense but rewarding, and each swing of the blade felt like a step towards becoming stronger.
Back to Present:
As I was about to close the backpack, my fingers brushed against something small and unexpected. “Wait, there’s one more thing in here,” I said, pulling out a small box. I opened it carefully, revealing a bracelet with an emblem in the center and the engraving “Warrior” etched into the metal.
Tears welled up in my eyes as I examined the bracelet, a gesture so deeply meaningful it took my breath away. The note inside read:
“Princess, I know that there will be times where you feel not enough, or that you feel like giving up. Just remember you are a warrior, and you are a force to be reckoned with. The emblem is of our island to remind you that we are always there with you and cheering you on. But that’s not all—the bracelet is meant to act as a protective charm. When you touch it, it can break through anything. We will be cheering you on. See you next time. – King”
As I read the note, a mix of emotions overwhelmed me. The thoughtfulness and support from King were more than I could have hoped for. I felt a profound sense of appreciation and a deep connection to the island and its people.
Chopper looked up at me, his large eyes filled with concern. “Why are you crying, Y/N?”
I blinked away the tears, managing a smile. “It’s just… this bracelet means a lot to me.
Just then, I heard Sanji approaching. He cleared his throat and gave me a somewhat hesitant smile. “Y/N, can we talk in the kitchen for a moment?”
My heart skipped a beat. “Well, this is it,” I thought, mentally bracing myself for what was to come. I nodded and followed Sanji to the kitchen, my mind racing with thoughts and emotions.
Sanji POV…
“What’s up, Sanji?” Y/N asked, her voice tinged with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment press down on me. Stepping forward, I guided her to the center table and gestured for her to sit. She did, her eyes never leaving mine.
“I… I need to talk about what happened two years ago,” I said, my voice trembling slightly.
Y/N’s eyes widened, and her breath hitched. “Sanji, I…”
“Before you say anything, just listen,” I said, raising my hand to stop her. “I need you to understand why I did what I did.”
There was a heavy pause as I struggled to find the right words.
“I don’t want you to think that I was toying with you or that when I kissed you and then launched you towards Luffy, it was just for show,” I continued, my voice cracking with emotion. “That was a mistake. What I did… it was born out of desperation and fear. I couldn’t bear the thought of losing you, especially after seeing you injured and thinking you were gone for good.”
Y/N’s face contorted with pain, her eyes filling with tears. “Sanji, you left me thinking you were dead. I was injured, and I could do nothing but watch as everything fell apart.”
“I know,” I said, my voice choked with guilt. “And I’m so sorry. Seeing you in that state, thinking I might never see you again, drove me insane. It was unbearable to see you hurt and to know that I might never get a chance to make things right.”
Her eyes flashed with anger and sadness. “And on top of that, seeing you with other women, especially when you acted so protective and intense around any guy that shows interest in me. It made me feel even worse, like I was nothing.”
“I understand,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. “It drove me mad to see anyone else around you, especially when I knew how much I care about you. Every time I saw any guy close to you, it was like a knife to my heart. I realized just how much I needed to prove to you that I could be the one who truly cherishes you.”
I reached for her hand, my fingers trembling as I took it in mine. “I’m asking for a chance to show you that I can treat you the way you deserve. To show you that I truly care about you, and that you mean everything to me. I know I made mistakes, but I want to make it right.”
Y/N looked at me, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions. I could see the conflict within her, the struggle to reconcile her feelings with the pain of the past.
“I know it’s a lot to ask,” I continued, my voice steadying with resolve. “But I need you to know how deeply I feel for you. Please, give me a chance to prove myself.”
She hesitated for a moment, her eyes locked with mine. Then, with a sigh, she nodded. “Okay, Sanji. Show me.”
With a surge of hope and passion, I leaned in, cupping her face gently in my hands. Our lips met in a kiss that was both tender and urgent, filled with all the emotions that had been building up over the years. It was a kiss that spoke of regret, longing, and a fierce determination to make things right.
As our lips moved together, the kiss grew more intense, a steamy promise of the feelings we both harbored. I could feel her response, the way she melted into the kiss, her hands finding their way to my shoulders. The world around us seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of us, caught in the moment.
When we finally broke apart, our breaths mingling, I looked into her eyes, hoping that the kiss had conveyed everything I couldn’t put into words. “Thank you for giving me this chance,” I said softly, my heart pounding.
Y/N smiled, her eyes still glistening with tears, but a hint of warmth and affection shining through. “Let’s see where this goes, Sanji. But don’t think for a second that I’ve forgotten everything.”
“I wouldn’t want you to,” I said, brushing a stray tear from her cheek. “I’ll prove to you that I’m worth the chance you’re giving me. I promise.”
.
.
.. THAT ENDING THO!!! IT'S GETTING A BIT STEAMY IN HERE!!! Now, when I wrote this ending I had two versions, but I went with this one because the other version (hehehe) Imma save that one for what's to come in the later chapters. Will Sanji keep his promise, or will he prove to Y/N that love between you too will be harder. Also Sanji Jealous really adds to the whole theme. Since he is enamored and any man that he feels is a threat it's game over. Now, for this next chapter we are going to skip fishman island, and move straight to Punkhazard. We are going to get a recap of what happened in Fishman Island tho. Can't wait for you guys to read chapter 10 and maybe 11.

@mabel7775: I will take advantage that the requests are open. :3 Yandere platonic Luffy x reader. Let's say that Luffy cares and is always attentive to the reader, do you think Hancock would get jealous for all the attention that reader receives from Luffy or would she take advantage and become friends with the reader to get closer to Luffy? Possibly Hancock becoming a yandere as well to reader since she makes Luffy happy and imagining it as if they finally have a family with him.
Okay now I absolutely adore this idea!! I’m gonna give you a few headcanons and if you want I’ll make a story about it 😉
So for one yes luffy will be all over his love even if it’s platonic! He views them as his special friend that’s just…different from all of his others. He’ll want lots of hugs and attention! He also has a habit of accidentally guilt tripping them into hanging out with them!
-“You don’t wanna hang out?…oh you’re going with them aren’t you?…well that’s okay you just remind me of ace I guess and ever since he died well ya’know….but it’s okay I guess…!
Yep! That’s yandere platonic luffy for ya! He always tries to bring up Ace’s death to make them feel bad and give in eventually ..he doesn’t do it on purpose though! He just wants them to hang out with him….
All the time.
And nobody else include because your HIS friend.
He always ether has an arm around them when their sitting as he’s laughing and cracking jokes with the others or just being silly to try to make you smile! He’s basically clinging onto them every step of the way on
Now moving onto the Hancock situation! We all know our snake empress can be a bit….protective of luffy at times! So of course she would be livid that he was giving them all of his attention!
-Luffy-dear!! Who is this tramp?!?! They surely are no match for me!! But since you think you deserve his affection let us battle for his love !!
Now over time it would be very obvious that Luffy very much cared for them, and no one could change that!
Unless they just want to try and get their asses kicked.
So Hancock would have no other choice but to..tolerate them. Though she wouldn’t be the nicest overtime she would start to see why Luffy liked them so much! So she would get closer to them! Being their friend and ally slowly and slowly..getting closer..
And eventually falling deep in obsession love!! Basically acting as she does with luffy, protecting them at all cost just like luffy! She would all over them all the time.
She would eventually start to form the idea of getting married to the both of them and having a big happy family! And who are they to refuse..? With a warlord and the future pirate king obsessing over them…?
I don’t think their gonna be able to leave any time soon.
I really hope you like this!! I know it was a bit short but I tried my best 😅🫶🏼💕 I really like these head canons a lot and I might redo it to make it even better!
But also I’m writing a new story! It’s very interesting and a yandere one piece! I just need some opinions if I should do Luffy, a different straw hat or another character in general or all of the straw hats! Please let me know and of course “growing up a little too fast!” part 2 is still being made!!

"Fairness" One Piece x Saitama reader, 1.
Tumblr media
"Just a Normal girl looking for an everyday life. At least, if you call sailing across the seas with idiots with useless dreams a simple task, then you might wanna see a doctor. Seriously."
Warnings: Blood, gore, mentions of Luekimia, and heaps amount of blood and strength. It might be a little cursing, but not bad, and maybe some flirting in there, but it's mostly clean.
Other things:
-You didn't get bald due to your powers; you got bald to an extreme illness.
-You part of the straw hat crew, but others are interested in you and your power.
-Everyone that is a male is taller than you.
-Monsters from the OPM world will appear in One Piece, and I'll make some new monsters you will fight.
Enjoy the first chapter, everyone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-15 years later-
-Location: Impel down.-
“And yeah, that’s how I got my powers, and how I ended up here is a long story."
I was held in a prison of some sort, as I was chained next to a black hair dude and a giant ass sumo-looking man who looked like a fish. They both listened to my story as the fish dude hummed in response. “I see, so you were fighting someone and woke up here, as you killed the monster who brought you here, bringing you to have no way back? That is interesting, ma’am; your clothing is quite odd, so I knew you weren’t from this area.” He explained as he sighed, my body leaning against the wall. “Yeah, but it’s exciting; the people here are stronger than where I’m from; you all have powers, too? What’s both of your deal? Why are you arrested?”
The black haired male laughed, as a skull with a mustache was tattooed onto his back. “Well..how I got here is a long story. I was fighting a pirate named Blackbeard, who murdered a crew member of mine.” My eyes widened. “Pirate? So theirs pirates here?” He laughed. “Man your clueless, no wonder, but yes, the whole world is filled with pirates, I’m one as well, apart of a strong crew, the white beard pirates.” My head tilted. “I’m guessing the tattoo on your back is the marking of your captain?” He smirked. “Close, it’s white-beards Jolly Roger, every crew member has a marking of it on part of their body.” “I see.” I smiled slightly. “So it’s like a tribal thing? A promise?” The boy nodded. “I guess, I wouldn’t call it tribal, I’d call the tattoo meaning, fearful and exciting.” I smiled more. “It looks cool, though you never told me why you got here?” He sighed.
“After Blackbeard got a kick of me, the marines captured me, and here I am now, probably to get executed.” My eyes widened. “Executed, what for? Being a pirate?” He nodded as the fish man spoke. “Fire fist ace is one of the strongest members of the white beard pirates; any pirate in the world that roams these seas will get executed, no matter how low or high the bounty is.” I looked to the ground. “Doesn’t seem fair, since this black beard guy seems to be why you here….?” “The name's Ace.” I nodded. “Right, Ace. Don’t you not want to die?” He chuckled lightly From my question. “Y/n, a pirate in a life and death situation, always has to make a choice for the better of his crew or the people. Even though I’m not a threat to most, but to the naked eye, I am, so the Marines give them what they want, but me, if I do die on that platform, I’ll die doing what I loved, sailing across the world.” My heart broke slightly. "But, from what I heard from evidence, aren't pirates supposed to treat their crew like family, Ace? Isn't your crew basically your family?" "Of course." Ace smiled more. "But, even a pirate has to die, even if the family is against it." I nod again. "That seems understandable. Too bad these chains drain our powers; I would get us out of here. Say, fish man, what's your deal?" The fish male looked to the floor as his legs were crossed. "My deal, hmm? Well, first, my name is Jimbei, and I used to be one of the warlords of the sea."
My head tilted. "Used to be?" He nodded. "Indeed, I was against the marine's actions to go against the white-beard pirates and arresting Ace, and for that, I'm here." My brows furrowed with irritation. "That's dumb for wanting someone to not get executed; you say he said they shouldn't mess with your crew, Ace-san. How strong are they?" Ace laughed. "That's a good question, Y/n, but my crew is pretty strong, as my Captain is a Yonko himself, as all of the seas fear his name; it's pretty impressive, as he's rather old and sick now." "Ah, I'm sorry to hear that, but he must be the best captain to you and your crew mates." He nodded. "Indeed, without him, I'd probably be forced to be a Marine and to walk without freedom." I smile gently. "You made a great choice then; freedom sounds nice; you guys must have gone on many adventures." "We did, and it was terrific; I'd never forget the people and creatures I've met; my life grew more since I joined him, and I could never repay him." My heart warmed with his explanation as I looked to the Jail floor, feeling terrible that this friendly stranger was getting executed for something so simple, living his life.
As silence arose through the three of us, footsteps came to our cell as guards stood before Ace, probably getting him for his execution. I stayed silent, as Jimbei, as we just watched, our hearts ill and disgusted as they showed no emotion. "Oi Y/n, Jimbei." We looked at him as he turned with a smile. "Don't let other people tell you what you should do or look like; that's a decision you should make yourself. Besides, Y/n, too bad I'm getting executed, or I'd take you out, but it was nice to meet a cute girl like you." His wink didn't affect me, as I smiled. "Thank you, Ace; I wish your death to be quick and painless and that you will be in a better place." He chuckled. "I hope so, but..I have a favor, Jimbei...if..you ever see my brother...tell him I love him..ok?" Jimbei hesitated, sad that he said this, as he nodded sternly, accepting his request before the guards took him away, leaving me and Jimbei in the cell. An empty feeling was in my heart, as the thought of that Ace guy dying from what he didn't even do in the first place made me angry.
The silence was heard for an hour or two until new voices rose as your head perked up. Jimbei raised a hand to be quiet, as the voices didn't sound like Marine guards but a younger singer, a masculine-gay-like voice, and a deeper elegant voice. Confused, I saw a boy with a straw hat that described the brother Ace was talking about me, and Jimbei's eyes widened as a unique-looking woman and man were following him. He seemed to be looking around for Ace as he stopped in front of our cell, looking straight at the fishman. "Oi?! Have you seen Ace?! Where is he?!" I frowned. "I-uhm sorry, sir, they just took him a few minutes ago..." His eyes widened with fear as he turned to the group, telling them they needed to find him, but Jimbei and I were confused about how they could get there until Luffy explained the situation.
My eyes widened at how he broke into this place as the lady-man beside him explained how she lived here for words, as they all planned to escape and go save Ace. As he called for him, I wanted to help, as did Jembie, causing the straw hat boy to turn. "Let us help you!" I nodded., as Luffy's head tilted. "Help? How should I trust you both? How do you know my brother? "I only knew Ace for 5 hours, but he is lovely and deserves a little fairness instead of death," I spoke as Jimbei explained. The straw hat boy smiled brightly and then laughed. "Alright! Any friend of my brothers is a trusted ally for me!" Soon enough, the man with white and orange clothing cut our cell with his scissors hands; as both of us were free, I smiled, turning to him. "Man, that's a cool power you got." He bowed. "Thank you, madam!" I nodded while turning to Jimbei. "Are you alright?" He nodded. "Just a few grazes from the cuffs, but I'm stronger that, what's the plan, Mugiwara?" Jimbei looked to him and continued. "We can still get to your brother, as they are just transferring him now, but we must hurry!" He nodded simply. "Sure, but who are you?" Bianca's eyes shot open, surprised that Luffy didn't know him. "Luffy! That's Jimbei! One of the warlords of the sea!!" His eyes widened this time. "REALLY?! COOL!" Jimbei shook his head. "Used to be, not now, but we must not chat; we need to get to the ship they are transferring Ace to!" Luffy nodded. "Yes! But, how do we get out of here-" He was interrupted when a weird laugh arose, and I saw Luffy freeze, turning in the direction of another cell, where a man with stitches across his face was laughing and smirking at him. "If you wanna get out of here, set me free...I can create a hole in the ceiling! What do you think?" I was surprised at this man's height, as he had a golden hook for a hand. He looked straight at Luffy with a sly smile still on his face. "It's been a while......"
"Straw hat..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Luffy, do you know this guy?" He seems pissed and irritated as both of them stared watch each other down, the tall man still holding a smirk on his face. It was silent as your question wasn't answered until the hookman spoke. "I thought there was no reason to get back on the street. But Whitebeard and the Navy are gonna start a war? It's my chance to finally bring down that old man..." He honestly spoke, my head tilting. "Wait, white beard, you mean Ace's captain? How are you supposed to defeat him when Ace says he's one of the Yonko's? Aren't they supposed to be strong?" Your question was ignored again when Crocodile looked you up and down, not recognizing you immediately as he turned back to Luffy.
"I don't care how strong he is; this war has piqued my interest. And with my power, you and I could get out of here." He spoke, still looking at Luffy, who clenched his fists. "It's not bad, huh? We both get what we want, after all...." "His voice was defiantly deep, as it didn't affect you, but it was pretty attractive, as my arms crossed.
"Why should we trust you? Are you an ally of Luffy's or something?" His face fell annoyed as he looked at me. "I'm never or never will be an Ally...just making a deal with this brat...and how should he trust you or the fishman either..? You look like a dangerous girl yourself, cute, but probably untrustworthy..." My head tilted. "Untrustworthy? Is it because I'm bald? It always confuses people, but Luffy here seems angry towards you, which means you must have been in his past, correct?" The man chuckled. "You are smart, girl, but yes, I was...this brat ruined my plans..." "SCREW YOU WERE GONNA DESTROY VIVI'S HOME ASSHOLE!" As I understood the situation, Luffy snapped as the man blankly looked at him. "That was a long time ago. I lost interest in that country." He spoke, Luffy glaring harshly at him, as Crocodile smirked and Bianca stepped forward. "Straw hat, boy, release him." My and his eyes widened. "Wait, are you serious?!" He asked, as I was confused. "Yeah, why would we do that as Luffy feels in danger from him?"
She smiled, looking at us both. "His power will aid us greatly." "AH! Ivan-chan! If you knew what he's done-" "You wanna keep going right?!" Jimbei spoke as Luffy paused, then nodded. "Then free him because we need Crocodile to make it to Navy HQ!" Crocodile scoffed while looking at Ivonka as She smirked at him. "Long time no see, crock boy." Luffy was shocked. "You know him?!" She nodded. "Just a passing acquaintance. I met him when he was just a rookie!" I smiled. "I see." Ivanka laughed. "So don't worry; if he does something funny, I can bring him under control in case he betrays us." I nodded. "Sounds like a plan; step back, you three." Confused, the three stepped back as I got close to Crocodile's cell, as I just quickly grabbed the bars, and Yanked the door off. "WOAH! SO STRONG!!" Ivanka yelled, her eyes shooting out of their sockets, as the tall man emerged. I looked at him. "Hey, is your power sand?" He seemed surprised as his eyes widened slightly. "Yeah..kid, how did you know?" I pointed to the sand under him. "Lucky guess, that's pretty cool." He smirked at you. "Thanks. You pretty strong yourself, lady." "Y/n." His head tilted as I smiled. "The name Abby, nice to meet you all." Luffy smiled as Ivonka smirked, Bowing back with respect. "Nice to me, you Y/n-san! I'm Ivonka! My My, you are quite cute, dear! Never met a bald girl before!~" My eyes widened. "How did you know I was bald?" She smirked. "I wear wigs myself, dear, so I know what's real hair and what's fake, so how did you lose your hair? A battle?" I sighed with a smile. "It's quite a long story, but it's a time for later; we should get out of here, Crocodile, right? How can you get us out?" He smirked down at you as sand flowed around his body; soon enough, he shot up it towards the ceiling, creating a giant hole to the next floor. My eyes widened slightly, impressed. "Let's go!" Luffy ordered, jumping up first, followed by Jimbei, Crocodile, and Ivanka, as the scissors man helped me up, all of us soon running to the exit.
But. as we escaped the hole, we ran into some other people, like a ballerina man named Bon-chan, as Crocodile got his regular close on. "Oi, Y/n." He spoke as I turned, us waiting to head deeper on this floor. He held up a cloth, looking down as a cigar was in his mouth. "Can you help me out?" He asked, as I looked at his dirty shoes, and I nodded. "Sure." As he sat on a box, I gently grabbed his foot as I cleaned his fancy shoes. "These must be expensive; how rich were you?" He smirked. "I'm still rich; it seems like you never were around money." My head shook. "Nah, I really wasn't into money, but seriously, you must have been in a powerful position to earn a lot of money." He chuckled. "I was a warlord, actually." My eyes widened. "You mean like Jimbei?" He nodded. "Yeah, but my actions removed me from my position, as Straw Hat kicked my ass.." I snorted as he glared harshly at me. "Why are you laughing?" I shook my head. "Think it's funny a kid like him kicked a grown man's ass. You must have done something terrible to the kingdom he talked about." He sighed. "Yeah, that was a long time ago...now I'm striving for something different, don't know what yet." I finished as I set the cloth aside. "Well, whatever it is, I hope you don't get caught by the Marines again." He chuckled. "You can say that again..." "ALRIGHT! LET'S GO!" Ivanka yelled as I nodded, everyone soon following her. We managed to get to the snowey area, as I was in the same clothing, the cold not effecting me as all of us surrounded Ivanka, as she told us the plain.
Crocodile was next to me, as I was next to Luffy, the group listening carefully.
She warned us if we still manage to get to through front, their will be enemies and marines everywhere, as we still will be fighting hard to get out of here. She said we should also steal a Navy ship, as it's our best chance of being able to get to the marine Headquarters ace was going to be at.
The plan sounded good, as she said we still need to get more people to fight with us. Jimbie nodded with agreement. "We already have a lot, but this place is still dangerous, and there might be a chance only little of us make it out alive, so it's best to free more prisoners." I nodded as well. "Yeah, and who knows how this 'war' is going to go on, and how strong you say Ace's crew and the marines are." Ivanka smiled. "Right! So, when doing to these different floors, our Job is to free as many prisoners as we can! So let's unleash mayhem in this place like it has never been seen before!" Everyone cheered, except crocodile, Luffy and I, as we were already ahead of the group.
I was next to Jimbei as the four of us were climbing up stairs, as Jimbei spoke up. "It's 10 before morning!" He spoke, then continued. "The execution is at 3 in the afternoon! They'll defiantly do it on time!" He finished, as Luffy ran faster, as we all followed, as I looked to Jimbei. "Why don't they do it earlier? I mean, it's like they are asking for something to go wrong." Crocodile smirked. "Because Marines are idiots..." I nod. "I see. well then..."
As we stopped at the lock door, I ran forwards, spinning, as I kicked the door right off, smoke arising as the boys eyes widened, but soon then smirked as I cracked my Knuckles, looking ahead as Marines began to surround us.
"Let's make sure to get there on time."

You Say Someone Else's Name During Sex
One Piece x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They get very insecure and stop immediately.
The whole mood is ruined, and they get dressed. They try not to ignore you, but they need alone time before they can even look at you.
Expect a long talk about the relationship and how serious it is to you.
Sanji, Usopp, Nami, Robin, Buggy, Koby, Helmeppo, Corazon
Tumblr media
They get pissed.
They'll ask you what the hell you just said and then they make sure that their name is the only thing that will ever come out of your mouth during sex.
They will fuck you so hard, you'll never make that mistake again.
You'll definitely be having a serious talk about it later though, it genuinely hurt them to hear you say someone else's name.
The ones in red are pissed but aren't hurt by it, they'll just use it as an excuse to be rough with you
Zoro, Crocodile, Mihawk, Doflamingo, Boa, Alvida, Zeff, Smoker, Kuro, Arlong
Tumblr media
They ignore it and keep going, they genuinely hope it's an honest mistake and will try not to bring it up
It deeply hurt them though, and if you're observant you'll be able to tell.
They'll definitely hold off on having sex with you for a while and may even sit you down to talk about what happened before getting intimate with you again
Luffy, Franky, Law, Shanks, Ace, Garp

No way! Luffy has a Wife?!
Monkey D. Luffy x Wife!Reader
Summary: an amalgamation of many requests on others finding out Luffy is married.
A/n: Thanks @matronofthevoid for the prompt of Boa Hancock and to the other anonymous DM’s requesting others
Part VII
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After a few weeks of Monkey Y/n’s Wanted posters circulating, the world government has issued a retraction after being unable to locate the marriage certificate of Luffy and Y/n.
The marines have since issued new Wanted posters, removing the family name ‘Monkey’ followed by the following description.
‘Y/n, Wanted Dead or Alive for 200 million berries after assaulting a marine officer for insulting childhood friend Monkey D. Luffy. The bounty has been increased as Y/n is confirmed to be an official member of the strawhat pirates after eye-witness testify Y/n claiming allegiance to the strawhat captain in wholecake Island. The World Government would also like to retract any claims or statements of the marriage between the pair due to lack of evidence to support claim.’
Whilst it true the new posters and description have been issued- not everyone has received the new news.
Shanks - Receiving the original poster
“Hey captain! Check this out!” Yassop howls in laughter with Lucky Roux, throwing a newly issued bounty down into their captains lap.
Wanted Dead or Alive. Monkey. Y/n. 100m berries.
Shanks eyes widen slightly at the name.
“Luffy’s a grown man now, wife and all…” Shanks mutters, his eyes shining with pride before quickly faltering to horror. “That little twerp got married and didn’t even invite me?! Can you believe that?!”
Silvers Rayleigh - Receiving the original poster
Shakuyaku smirks down at the news paper below her, taking a good long drag from the cigarette sitting loosely between her fingers.
“What’s got you smiling like that?” Rayleigh steals a glance at the papers. “Well would you look at that… the boys not completely hopeless after all.”
Boa Hancock - Receives the new posters
As all of the Kuja warriors suspected. Their beautiful loving Empress has been bedridden for weeks.
The wanted poster…
The description of Luffy’s marital status…
It was all far too much for the tender hearted empress.
But as soon as Gloriosa received the newest issue, she figuratively bolted to the empresses bed chamber. “I’ve come bearing great news!” Gloriosa announces, pulling the blanket off of the rotting figure that is Boa Hancock.
He matted hair remains tangled, her swollen eyes pinching together tighter at the exposure of light. “Leave at once you old hag! Leave me to my suffering!” Hancock wails, pulling weakly at the bedcovers.
“He isn’t married!” Gloriosa announces as Hancock sits up rapidly. “Luffy! He isn’t married- it was just a false report! They’re only childhood friends!” The angelic expression that follow was so blindingly beautiful, Gloriosa’s memory lapsed at the beauty that is her Empress.
“Luffy my love! I knew it! You shall be mine! No woman is qualified for his affections!” Hancock swoons.
Monkey D. Garp - Receives the new poster
“See Koby?! I knew it wasn’t true!” Helmeppo scrutinises the posters hung up on the wall.
‘Y/n Wanted Dead or Alive’
Koby shrugs indifferently. Whilst it might be true Luffy and Y/n aren’t married, is it really so crazy to believe Luffy has romantic interests? Well according to Helmeppo, such a statement is ridiculous.
“What are you two bickering about now?” Garp grumbles, shoving his hand into the bucket of popcorn and into his mouth by the fist fulls.
“Sir- you would know more than that Luffy couldn’t possibly be married.” Helmeppo guestures to Y/n’s new poster.
There was a moment of silence before Garp dropped his bucket of popcorn to the floor, snatching the poster as his eyes widen in horror. “Huh?! So that little brat went and became a pirate after all?! Does anyone listen to me?! First Ace, then my idiot grandson and now my angel?!” Storming to his desk, Garp continues to mutter to himself under his breath, riffling through the papers until he is able to extract a report pertaining to your bounty from the pile.
You were Garp’s one saving grace.
The one and only rambunctious child that didn’t go over to the dark side, but based off the report- it’s still his idiot grandsons fault.
If he didn’t become a pirate then you wouldn’t have gained a wanted poster defending his honour like the noble angel you are.
“Sir - you would know more than anyone. Is Luffy and Y/n married or not?” Koby asks, only for Garps eyes to remain dark and downcast in angst.
“Unofficially.” He mutters only for Helmeppo to cringe at the confirmation.
“So it’s true then?! Strawhat really does have a wife?!” Helmeppo shouts in horror, needing desperately for Garp to tell him the honest truth.
“Huh?” Garp picks his nose mindlessly as he thinks back. “That idiot has been claiming they’ve been married for years… guess he just finally wore her down.”
Bartolomeo - Receives the new poster
“And Y/n defended Sir Luffy by knocking that filthy marine out in one hard punch!” Bartolomeo praises, dabbing a moist tissue to his eyes. “It’s just so beautiful! Sir Luffy deserves nothing less than a devoted wife to defend his honour.” Bartolomeo throws himself onto the floor as he continues to sob hysterically. “And - to think- they’re childhood friends! Truely a romantic story for the ages!”
The crew begin to cry in unison. “How can people deny their marriage?!” Some sobbing crewman questions, blowing his nose into his own shirt.
“They don’t need no stink’in piece of paper! We will help sir Luffy by spreading their grand love story far and wide for all to hear!”
Y/n - Receives the new poster
“Hey have you guys seen Y/n?” Luffy questions, scratching his head absentmindedly.
Zoro points lazily towards the head of the Thousand Sunny where you appear to be sitting glumly. You begin to make the face you always do when you are sad.
“I’m sorry Luffy- I didn’t mean to upset her.” Chopper mutters sadly. But Zoro only drops his heavy hand on Choppers head. “Y/n’s bounty went up, I went to show her, but then she got really upset.“ Chopper holds up the newly issued Wanted poster of Y/n.
“Hey it’s not your fault, all you did was show her the new poster.” Zoro reassures but Choppers shoulders sink further.
Luffy snatches Nami’s pen from her hand and begins to scribble on the Wanted poster.
“Luffy! What the hell-“ Luffy tosses the pen back on the table and stalks back off towards his gloomy wife.
“Oi! Have you seen your new wanted poster? Looks like your bounty went up since you’re officially in my crew now.” Luffy announces ecstatically, shoving the wrinkly paper into your hands.
You begin to slouch into yourself. You knew it was silly but it was heart wrenching to finally have a family name only of it to be taken at a moments notice. ‘Monkey’ was not a last name you even earnt. But even so, it was nice to feeling like you belonged somewhere.
“Yeah, what about it?“ Your voice shrivels up on the spot.
Looking down at the wanted poster you see your name haphazardly scribbled ‘Monkey Y/n’
Tears threatened to well-up. Without you even admitting out loud - Luffy somehow knew exactly what upset you and how to fix it. “You’re so dumb sometimes ya’know?” Luffy states rhetorically, which only makes you begin to boom with laughter. “How many more times do I have to remind you? You’re my wife. You don’t need some piece of paper to give you a last name. Because I already gave you my last name.” You begin to grin at your sweet loveable doofus. “But if you need a piece of paper, then take that. I wrote it myself and everything- Kay?” He asks only for you to spring on top of Luffy, pulling him into a lethal tight hug.

To see the world that you are so proud of...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: Growing up obediently following your empress' shadow, your horizon broaden the moment you met a pirate doning a strawhat who somehow ended up on your island.
Pairing: Monkey D. Luffy x Kuja!Reader, Platonic!Boa Hancock X Fem!Reader
Spoilers from the Amazon Lily and Marineford arcs. Reader is a pure sunshine who is both kind and naive. This is mostly focused on yours and Hancock's relationship.
|| One Piece Masterlist ||
|| Part 1 || Part 2 ||
Tumblr media
"Rejoice.. From this day and so on, you will directly serve me alone...."
Growing up, all you ever did was listen and obey those who ranks stronger than you. And that person was no other than Boa Hancock, the Empress of your island.
When your mother died unexpectedly, she took you under her watchful eyes. Being only a child at the time, you were unaware of how dangerous your surroundings were. Surrounded by the jungle and waters filled with sea kings, you will never survive.
The women were all like walking on eggshells around you. Your mother was a fearsome warrior that boarded the Kuja Pirates' ship. She was well respected by her peers and because of that, the rest treated you like a delicated flower that deserved to be sheltered.
You were a child without a maternal protection and guidance.
But after being graced by her benelovence, you grew to adore the snake princess and bow to serve her with everything you have. Hancock treated you like how she would treat anyone below her, yet in your child like mind, she was the only one who didn't see you as fragile as glass.
And to repay that, you went and learned the ways of the women in the island.
"Snake Princess, please allow me to serve your every needs! I won't hesistate to do all of them!"
"Snake Princess, I brought you your tea. Just like how you like it..."
"Please leave quietly. The Snake Princess is currently occupied and cannot see an audience."
"My empress, you seems to be slightly fatigued, should I draw a herb bath to soothe your mind and cleanse your body?"
"I'll be on guard by the door if you ever request anything, Snake Princess. I'll be happy to aid you with all of my capabilities...."
You learned and mastered observation haki at a young age as you often went and learned everything that should and shouldn't do around the Pirate Empress. After all, you felt like you owe your life to her.
But that's also when you finally saw through the mask she often wore. She has a deep fear somewhere in her heart that she tried so hard to hide, the same fear that her sisters share with her.
You kept silent about it as you thought it wasn't your place to ask. But after that, you began to see her in a different light.
Boa Hancock is much more valiantly elegant than what you previously thought. And you admire her strong demeanor in hopes that one day, you'll be like her too..
As a Kuja warrior, you strived and hone your skills in hopes of pleasing your Empress even more. You worked harder to be a better version of yourself. You became the best hunter of your tribe while fully adapting to your own snake weapon.
Hancock rarely talk to you, however, she kept you often at her side, doing her bidding.
"What is with that smile on your face?"
"I'm happy, Snake Princess. To be able to prove my worth by serving you, it's the greatest honor..."
Most women would cower under her cold gaze, but you on the other hand, was brave enough to stare back with much admiration, carrying and obeying with a gentle smile on your face. Pure genuine, you didn't fawn over her like how the rest did, nor threw yourself under her feet as she walk pass by.
Everything you do was all voluntary that she didn't even have to use her charms to force you to obey.
Eventually, your obedience lead to Hancock trusting you completely. Becoming her right hand woman, whom she could trust Amazon Lily with. She know that you will never betray her with how much dedicated you are on serving her.
You were too kind. Whenever she looks out on the window of the castle, she would often see you helping out your fellow women with a huge smile on your face. Every requests thrown at your direction, you immediately agreed on, as if rejection is not on your vocabulary.
She knew by then, that she chosen the right person to trust on.
The first time you actually met a man, was when Hancock commanded you to stay back on the island as she sails away with her sisters and the elite warriors of the tribe.
"Snake Princess, why do I have stay here? I am confident in my abilities that I won't be considered as a hinder.."
You pleaded, carefully observing her reactions if ever you annoyed her with your words. To be near Hancock, means that you have to be careful not to anger her to avoid loosing her favor on you.
"You are not ready to sail on the Perfume Yuda yet. So use that strength on keeping this island safe until I return..."
Being often near the snake princess, gave you privilage to lead your fellow warriors whenever she and her sisters are not around. They listen to your instructions carefully and proceed to do their respective chores dedicatedly.
As you were given the task of protecting the island by Hancock herself, you took the initiative of scouting the jungle along side three other woman named Marguerite, Sweet Pea and Aphelandra.
"While we're here, should we perhaps hunt a beast for today's lunch?"
You asked the trio, hoping to bring a good feast for the warriors who scouted the other areas of the island, but before anyone could respond, you all notice smoke coming from the far side of the jungle. Wordlessly, you gave the women a commanding look before running off to the source with them following behind.
And that's how you met the strange man now called Luffy.
You found him beatened and unconcious with mushroom growing on his body. Not knowing his identity before hand, your pity for the injured had allowed him to enter the village.
Allowing Belladona and the rest of the women to tend his wounds, you and Marguerite provided on sewing new clothes identical to his previous tattered ones.
Marguerite embroidered floral patterns on the vest and you sewed a new pair of clean shorts.
Until the elder, Nyon revealed his identity of being a man.
"So this is what a man look like....?"
Unlike the rest of the women who all got defensive on his sudden outburst, you on the other hand could only continue to stare with curiosity.
Because you could clearly see his intentions. He was annoyed with how the rest wanted to pull his balls of gold, how feminine his clothes were and how tense he was when weapons pointed at his direction.
Yet you can see the desperation on his eyes. His desperation to leave the island, and return to his friends, atleast from what you heard him shout.
"Wait, stop...!"
You told the women to cease all actions but it was then, their arrows rained towards his cell, forcing himself to break out.
"He is not a threat!"
"(Name) all men who enters this island must be eliminated. That is the rules given by our ancestors that is upholded for centuries!"
Kikyo scolded you. Reminding you of where your loyalty lies. If your Empress ever finds out that a man entered the island under your supervision, you knew that you'll be the one paying for the consequences.
You feared to see the disappointment, Hancock would send you once she finds out. Hate to have suddenly betrayed her trust of getting fooled by a man whom you allowed to enter in the island. And you hate to disappoint her.
But the women are willing to help you out by pretending that this had never happened. Once you capture the man and kill him, this will all be a forgotten event. Boa Hancock will never know that a man soiled her land with his filt....right?
So with a conflicted thought, you went with the rest to pursue the strawhat wearing man.
Tumblr media
Somehow, you found yourself being held hostaged by the same man. At first, you and the other Kuja warriors were all chasing after him through out the village, when all of sudden, he turned around to face you.
Looking through the crowd of women, his eyes landed on to your guarded ones, stretching his arm, he immediately wrapped them around you before running off.
He kidnapped you, atleast that what you thought as he made his way out to the village with you in his arms.
"I need that paper back..."
He was after the paper you found on his tattered clothes. You stared at him warily as your snake slithered from your shoulders to your arm, forming into your weapon. You hoped that you wouldn't be using it against him but you can't avoid taking that risk.
You stared at his impatient form, silently observing his every move. You can tell that he has no intentions of fighting you either.
"You mean this....? What does it do...?"
Curiosity over took your judgement as you pulled out the paper to his field of vision. Seeing the absolute relief on his face made you lower your guard a little. What was the importance of a small piece of paper with a name written on it?
"My friends and I got separated, I need this paper to see them again."
"Who...are you anyways...?"
"I'm Monkey D. Luffy. I'm a pirate..!"
He spoke with a boyish grin on his face that you couldn't help but reprocate. He kept his distance seeing how you weren't comfortable being near a man....yet. He spoke fondly of his crew.
Like how you often spoke about the Snake Princess.
"The Snake Princess rules this island, she's wary of outsiders like you, but once you see through the mask she often wore, you can see how caring she's really is...!"
"I see! You really like the boss of this place, huh..? She must be really nice then."
You didn't realized that you were talking rather eagerly like you knew him for years already until you hear his laughter. Feeling slightly embarrased that you lost your composure, you immediately went to defend yourself.
"D-don't get ahead of yourself, man! Just because I'm talking to you, doesn't mean I'll let you do what you want here... No men are allowed on this island!"
You were already getting attached to him, he doesn't seem to be a threat at all. You thought as you saved him from drowning after his attempt to make a raft.
And before you could even think about helping him escape, the defense warrior group finally found the two of you in which he decided to flee.
By the time, you caught up to him, you knew it was already too late. Hancock was already aware of his presence and had ordered for his capture after he crashed on her chambers when she was bathing.
"Where were you, (Name)?"
You couldn't face her, you could only stand behind her with her sister Marigold on your front.
"Forgive me, Snake Princess... I was out there trying to capture that man..."
Boa Hancock is a rather observative woman. She observes people who falls under her rules. She knows her worth and what she is capable of and use it for her advantage.
Imagine to her slight surprise, you weren't there to greet her return at the end of the red carpet. That was her first suspicion, you never failed to show up first whenever she returns to the Island after weeks on sea.
She got even more suspicious when every woman she came across to lied when she asked of your wherebouts. Their only replied was, you had to hunt down a troublesome monkey that involves the rest of the island's defense troupe.
So when this man appeared, she knew she has to demonstrate a taste of her power to all of the women on the island. You included. She is the Empress, and it is her duty to protect the women under her care. She ought to show an example of how truly vile men are.
You who were oblivious of how truly cruel the world is. Too kind and obedient for her liking yet she couldn't find the heart to tell you off. She wasn't blind to see the adoration on your face whenever she is nearby. Nor she was oblivious to how genuine your actions were. She can see the unwavering loyalty you shown for her.
However she wasn't expecting you to grow attached to Luffy.
She noticed how your behavior shifted to tense and discomfort seeing him fight in that arena.
"What is it, (Name)?"
"Nothing, my empress..."
She could applaud you keeping your emotions in check. However, she found herself staring at you in disbelief when your cool finally broke when Marguerite, Sweet Pea and Aphelandra step in, attempt to save Luffy.
"My apologies, but I was the one who brought him to the village. If anyone deserves to be punished, it should be me. Those three merely followed my orders."
"You know what happens to those who defy me, (Name). Why are you defending the guilty?"
Taking up the courage, you managed to look her directly in the eyes. Those cold and dull hues that holds deeper emotions within. With a deep breath, you gave her your usual smiles.
Your compassionate smile of purity.
"I was the one who allowed permission for him to enter the village, my empress. So I should be the one held accountable. Marguerite, Sweet Pea and Aphelandra did nothing wrong, so please allow me to take their punishment alone.
You pleaded them to be spared. Seeing how you are willing to take the risks of saving the girls including Luffy slightly wavered her resolved.
"....You disappointed me, (Name).."
But she is still the Empress, and she has to show her authority over the island. Knowing full well that her powers could not affect you in any way, she asked a few warriors to take you away. You who looked back at her with a dejected face.
The man wearing a strawhat look angry on your behalf. He fought bravely against her sisters, demanding to set you free as you were innocent from all of this.
"She did nothing wrong! She was only trying to save me!"
Hancock kept her composure as she watched the battle raged on. What was so special about this man that you were willingly to defend him.
You were just too kind that it slightly annoyed her. You should only reserve it to her and her people alone. Your kindness shouldn't be shown to filthy men who will only take advantage of you.
This was the first defiance you've ever done. Hancock gritted her teeth as memories flashed between her eyes, ransacking every single one, yet she didn't remember you showing any disobedience like this before.
Just when she was starting to treasure you.
Only when the battle was over, she finally understood. Luffy was kind in his own way. Is that why you defended him? Because you were aware that he was not like those men who once trespassed the island?
Luffy seems to know the secret she was so desperate of hiding, so does that means that you already know? What do you see in her now?
Only when she was finally alone in her room, was she began breaking down, silent tears fell down as she didn't want her sisters to hear. Having you by her side for years as her closest aide made her conflicted. She only kept you nearby was because of pity.
You losing your mother at such a young age. Your mother who was apart of her crew, died at sea because of her warrior pride to protect the rest. It was by guilt, your mother's death at her ship is what made her take you under her wing.
She watched you grow up into a formidable warrior serving her with nothing but pure genuine adoration. It was nothing like the lust thrown to her way by both genders whenever she was present.
It was a gaze of a child with innocent admiration. You look up to her as a person and not just someone with otherworldy beauty.
Which is why she didn't let you join her crew. Giving excuses that you weren't strong enough to travel the seas on her ship. She didn't want you to see how vicious and filthy this world truly is. Nor for people to take advantage of your kindness.
What will happen if you knew the truth? It was her selfishness that killed your mother. Her selfish orders is what caused your mother to loose her life. Will you still have the same look on your face if you ever find out her slave mark? Or are you already aware of it?
Knowing you for years, no. You would never look at her differently even after she told you her secret. But the truth? It was because of her that you grew up without your mother's tender love and care.
But even so, she gave in with her fears. Through out the years, even she tried hard to push you away with her cold atittude, you still managed to find a place in her heart.
You were patient with her. Serving her with a bright smile that herself couldn't help but grew fond of. You tolerate her bratty attitude and beauty even when she knew that didn't have any affect on you. Only you were the one who can see through her lies and stayed.
But Hancock is a selfish woman, she was drawn to your warmth that she decided to keep you close, Because she was selfish, she only wants to keep your kindness to herself.
Because being around you, she can be a regular person that people never fawn on. Not like a luxurious item that people wanted to have, but a person who has her own feelings and wants.
All she hope is that you would forgive her like how you always do.

Tumblr media
Your boyfriend wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Was he caring? Of course, he cuddled and hugged and kissed you near constantly. Was he attentive? Easily, he always wanted to snuggle with you, no matter your location—even if it led to some unfortunate circumstances.
But he may just be the most scatterbrained boyfriend anyone could ask for, and your current situation was perhaps the best example of his obliviousness.
"Ah, Luffy! I have more food if you want it!"
"Really?! Thank you, Hancock!"
You and Luffy had gotten pulled off your ship by a terrible storm, only a small makeshift raft of wood to keep you afloat. A miracle had led you to land on Amazon Lily, an island led by a woman with a fixation for Luffy.
And so here you were, stuck watching the most beautiful woman in the world drape herself over your boyfriend like they'd been married for the last thirty years. Sure, your boyfriend was the greatest catch in the East Blue, but he was your boyfriend. Not Hancock's 'sweetie pie honey bun super-special pirate king.'
You had just finished talking with Jimbei through the snail transponder, who informed you that the ship would be there tomorrow in the morning. Unfortunately, that meant you would have to stay here.
"Alright, Luffy," you sighed, "The Thousand Sunny will be here in the morning, which means that we're stuck here for tonight."
"There's a room prepared for you in the palace if you need it, Luffy! I can have whatever you need brought there," Hancock swooned, feeding Luffy a drumstick.
"Ooh! Hey, is there anything you need, ____?" Luffy turned to ask, voice muffled by all the meat stuffed inside his mouth.
You looked behind Luffy to meet eyes with Hancock, watching her expression sour at the mention of your name.
"I think I'm fine. Thanks, Luf," you muttered, crossing your arms.
"Ok, but Hancock can bring us anything, so if you change your mind you can ask her!" he grinned, taking another large bite of the drumstick.
You sighed, briefly meeting eyes with Hancock who silently scoffed at your presence. Angrily, you stomped out of the palace and out of the town, going far, far away from the oh-so benevolent queen of the island.
As you walked into the expansive forest of the island, you began kicking a rock with each step, muttering under your breath.
"Oh Luffy, here's some yummy food!" you kicked the rock. "Oh Luffy, what dress do you think I should wear?" you kicked the rock. "Oh Luffy, you should break up and we should get married and have a bunch of tiny beautiful babies!"
You kicked the rock off the path, watching it roll off into underbrush and onto the grass floor of the forest.
"Go on then," you grumbled, "go get married to the prettiest girl in the world! then you can really be King of the Pirates..."
As you walked further into the tropical forest of the island, you came upon a rocky cliff, a beautiful location covered in small plants and light foliage. Rocks jutting out harshly in every which way, moss growing upon it, unbothered and untouched.
This is just what you need.
You stepped up to the edge of the cliff and gazed at the forest below, wild and vibrant green hues filling up every space you looked at. The sky was similar, a brilliant cloudless blue, like a calm blue sea without a boat in sight. You could stare at this serene scene for all of eternity, if only time allowed.
Sighing wistfully, you closed your eyes and stretched your body, taking a deep breath.
And then, you screamed.
You screamed at nothing and everything, all at once. At Hancock and Luffy, together, singularly, at their actions, at their attitudes. You shrieked at Hancock's cruel expressions, her blatant disregard for your own feelings. You screeched at Luffy's oblivious disposition, his inability to realize how you felt about all of this. You screamed until your throat burned, until you could feel your eyes welling up with tears and your screams turned into sobs turned into silent crying.
Needless to say, it was a much needed catharsis.
You calmed yourself down and walked back to the bustling city, taking in the nature surrounding you. As you continued walking, a long, rubbery leg touched down onto the forest path. The leg was attached to your boyfriend, who jumped down from the trees with a bewildered and frightened expression on his face.
"Are you okay ____?!" I heard—"
"I'm fine," you snapped, brushing past him.
Luffy gave you a confused look as you walked towards the village, on your way to check out the room in the palace Hancock so graciously gave you.
It was placed right next door to Hancock's own chambers, no doubt because she wanted to keep Luffy close, but the interior was far more shocking. Instead of a giant king sized bed in the middle, two beds—one far bigger than the other—with a great deal of space separating them were inside. It was almost too obvious to tell which bed was Luffy's, given the amount of food and gift baskets surrounding it.
You were just shocked that she put you in Luffy in the same room.
Deciding it wasn't worth complaining about, you instead searched around the castle in search of a library, a place Luffy would never look for you.
It wasn't that you were mad at him. No, it would be more accurate to say that you were furious. But you knew deep inside your mind that it wasn't his fault. But you also knew that if you saw him again, you would blow up, explode, in his face.
You stayed in the library until midnight, reading fairy tales and historical texts, immersing yourself in the stories and history these books contained. You could feel the anger and jealousy in your veins dwindle with each page you read.
Once you had returned your amassed collection of books back to their shelves, you made your way back to your room. Expectations were low, you were fairly certain that Luffy wouldn't have a clue regarding your feelings, and a conversation would most certainly need to happen.
Walking quietly to your shared room, you carefully opened the door. the first thing you noticed was that Luffy was still awake, crouched in the middle of his bed. It wasn't strange for Luffy to be awake so late in the night, knowing that his sleep schedule was pretty irregular, but an unusually upset expression was etched into his face.
The second thing you noticed was that the delicious gifts surrounding his bed were uneaten, unopened, the wrapping on a few having not been touched.
Luffy noticed you immediately, the corners of his lips pulling down even further, his brow furrowed in a mixture of, seemingly, sadness and confusion, like a puppy watching their owner leave for the first time.
"Are you mad at me?" he blurted out quietly, clutching his knees.
All you could do was sigh in response, moving to sit on your own bed.
"I don't know," you confessed, looking away from him. "I'm...mad, yeah. But at you? I don't know."
Luffy remained quiet until you decided to break the silence.
"Hancock is pushy," you crossed your arms, "she's pushing my boundaries and she's pushing her way between us. I know she's a friend of yours and she's helped you a lot, but it hurts to watch her snuggle up to you and talk about the 'love' between you."
You looked up at Luffy, seeing the realization and hurt flood his eyes, his fingers twitching as his legs slid towards the edge of the bed.
He didn't say anything yet, instead squeezing the blankets and looking down at his feet, clearly composing his thoughts.
"I'm sorry, ____," Luffy whispered, standing up from the bed. "I know Hancock does nice things for me, but I don't see her like I see you,"
"Then why don't you tell her off? Tell her to leave you alone, tell her you're in a relationship?" you pushed, feeling the jealousy seething out of you.
Luffy frowned and walked closer to you, sitting down on your bed. "You're the greatest treasure I've ever found," he confessed, moving his hands to yours, "it's like you're so shiny and bright, and everybody else is all gray. I know Hancock talks a lot and gives me a lot of food, but if you don't want me to talk or take stuff from her, then I won't, promise!"
Despite your attempts to remain stoic, you were unable to disguise the twinge of a smile caused by Luffy's statement, choosing to nuzzle your face in his neck to hide.
"You don't have to ignore her, Luf. Just ask her to tone it down, maybe? She is the queen of this place. Even if I'm mad at her, I'd rather not piss off someone who can kill us with a snap of her fingers," you mumbled, playing with his vest.
Luffy gave you a big hug, wrapping his rubbery arms around once, and then twice. "If she tries to hurt you, then I'll stop her! You're way more awesome than her," Luffy declared with a pout, falling back into your tiny bed with you in his arms, "and I promise I'll be an extra awesome boyfriend for you."
"You're too sweet, Luf," you laughed softly, hugging him tighter. "But maybe we should move to the bigger bed?"
"I'm too tired, and I'm already comfy," he whined.
"Fine," you grumbled, too tired to argue with your much stronger boyfriend (and captain.)
"G'night, ____," Luffy hummed, pulling you closer to his chest.
You smiled, shutting your eyes, "Night, Luffy."
Tumblr media
The morning seemed to come swiftly, light spilling into the room and striking your face. Your boyfriend was still wrapped around you like a vice, caging you tightly against his chest.
"Luffy," you groaned, trying to push him away, "you gotta let me go, it's time to get up,"
Luffy moaned and pressed his face to your chest, "Five more minutes, pretty please?"
"Jimbei said the ship would be here in the morning, the mor-ning, Luf. If we're late to meet them then Nami will beat our asses."
"Then I'll beat her up!"
"Then I'll have to dig your grave."
Luffy pouted and retracted his arms, crossing them, "Fine, we can go now."
Now free from you boyfriend's hold, you and Luffy changed your clothes for the new day, then exited the bedroom.
Immediately upon opening the door, you were greeted with the beautiful, illuminating face of Boa Hancock, who was clearly shocked and upset to see you exit with Luffy.
"Ah, Luffy! I just wanted to see if you wanted to have breakfast? I've had 60 eggs cooked and 30 plates of meat—"
"Sorry, Hancock!" Luffy interrupted, scooping you up and throwing you over his shoulder, "we've gotta go!"
"But—"
Without letting her get another word out, Luffy sprinted through the halls of the palace and out of an expansive window, stretching his way across the viridian forest below.
The sights below were familiar, but it was strange seeing them down below. You could make out the path you travelled through the leaves, even catching a glimpse of the cliff you had stood on last night, a horrible moment during a horrible day that seemed so far away now.
As Luffy jumped from tree to tree, occasionally breaking through the canopy to give you that bird's-eye view, you eventually landed at the gate to Amazon Lily, where the thousand sunny was currently floating.
"Hey, lovebirds!" Nami yelled up, waving her arms, "you're just in time! Let's get out of here!"
"Please, let me go! I need to get onto that island!" Sanji cried out, held in place by Robin's devil fruit-generated limbs.
Luffy let out a boisterous laugh, "We're comin' down! Let's go, ____!" he howled, sprinting towards the ledge.
You looked over your shoulder, fear in your eyes, "Luffy, don't you dare!"
Luffy, ignoring your pleas for a safer entrance, leapt onto the ship with a battle cry, landing perfectly on the wooden deck with you in hand. He gently set you down, flashing a grin as he patted your shoulder.
"Wasn't that fun?!" Luffy exclaimed, dusting off his straw hat.
You collapsed in shock, sprawling your limbs out on the deck as you recovered from your near-death situation.
"We'll...we'll work on that," you panted, desperately attempting to catch your breath.
"Sweet! Let's go now!" Luffy cheered, pulling you back up
"Go? Where?" you asked, astonished, "we just got back to the ship?"
"I told ya, I'm gonna be and extra super awesome boyfriend!" he beamed, "now we have to go do some extra super awesome stuff!"
He once again wrapped you up in his arms, flashing a smile as he hugged you.
"I promise I'm gonna be a way better boyfriend from now on, I won't disappoint you!" he beamed.
You smiled back and ruffled his hair, kissing his forehead.
"You're already the best boyfriend I could ask for, Luffy."
"But I can be better!"
"Better than best?"
"Best of the best!"
You threw you head back and laughed, squeezing him back.
"Alright, Luf. Show me what you have in mind."
