Những câu nói hay của phật
1.“It’s not about the money, it’s about sending a message. Everything burns!” -> Nó không phải là vấn đề về Tiền, nó chỉ đơn giản là gửi 1 tin nhắn và tất cả sẽ cháy rụi..
2.“Let’s put a smile on that face!”
3.“Those mob fools want you gone. So they can get back to the way things were. But I know the truth, there’s no going back. You’ve changed things…forever.”
4.I believe whatever doesn’t kill you, simply makes you…stranger.
5.All right. So, listen. Why don’t you give me a call when you want to start taking things a little more seriously? Here’s my card.
6.Do you want to know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can’t savor all the… little emotions. In… you see, in their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I know your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards?
7.This city deserves a better class of criminal. And I’m gonna give it to them.
8.Batman: Then why do you want to kill me? Joker: I don’t want to kill you! What would I do without you? Go back to ripping off mob dealers? No, no, NO! No. You… you… complete me. Batman: You’re garbage who kills for money. Joker: Don’t talk like one of them. You’re not! Even if you’d like to be. To them, you’re just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don’t, they’ll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it’s a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. I’ll show you. When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they’ll eat each other. See, I’m not a monster. I’m just ahead of the curve.
9.Joker: If you’re good at something, never do it for free.
-> Nếu mày giỏi việc gì, thì đừng bao giờ làm nó miễn phí
10. “The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules. And tonight, you’re gonna break your one rule.”
11. “You can’t rely on anyone these days, you gotta do everything yourself, don’t we? That’s ok, I came prepared, it’s a funny world we live in. Speaking of which, you know how I got these scars? No, but I know how you got these.”
(Kinh vl)
12. “You… you just couldn’t let me go could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You are truly incorruptable aren’t you. You won’t kill me because of some misplaced sense of self-rightousness. And I won’t kill you because…you’re just too much fun. I get the feeling that you and I are destined to do this forever.”
(like a boss)
13.In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out -> Trong giấc mơ của tao, thế giới đã phải chịu một thảm họa khủng khiếp.
Vày đây chính là câu nói bất hủ nhất: [holding a knife inside Gambol’s mouth] Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was… a drinker. And a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn’t like that. Not-one-bit. So – me watching – he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it! Turns to me, and he says, “why so serious, son?” Comes at me with the knife… “Why so serious?” He sticks the blade in my mouth… “Let’s put a smile on that face!” And…Why so serious?

Today was such a divine day! When I made my morning intentions during meditation, I simply claimed for the day to be nothing short than amazing. But today outdid itself. First, I sat out to take Khi to Parque La Ceiba over town (about a 58 min walk from my apartment). The walk over was all around interesting; we walked through amazing neighborhoods that eventually led us to a sketchy dirt path. We ended coming out to an even cooler part of the city where I met an old man who spoke a bit of English, complimented me and I even think he was trying to talk to me. A little later in the walk, right before we reached our destination I heard a "hey" from across the way. At first, I looked up in a quick glance and replied with a "Hola!" and kept walking until I did a double take. It wasn’t a "Hola" I heard, it was a legit “Hey” from another millennial black woman who was an expat here from North Carolina. I immediately stopped her in her tracks and begin to chat with her. We talked briefly about how we both quit our jobs and moved here to start a new life. It was so divine because I was just thinking that although I want to blend in with the locals, I also needed someone to relate to. I mean my neighbor is also a woman who quit her job out in California and moved here over 10 years ago. But it was something different to meet another woman of color living in the same city, that has taken that leap of faith and is determined to make it. My God!! After the conversation I had with the young woman, Khi and I had a great time in Parque La Ceiba. The park was filled with great jungle gyms, slides, activities, and a cool turtle pond. Khi claimed it as his favorite park! The features and the overwhelming list of activities landed the park a special place in our heart as we are determined to visit there more often. In the middle of the park, was a small outdoor restaurant lined with books and beautiful paintings. I tried my hardest to order my food in Spanish but wasn't too successful. Luckily, the young woman taking my order spoke a little English and helped me with my order. Being as though we are mostly raw vegans but eat like vegetarians sometimes, we end up ordering tacos jamaica which is interpreted to hibiscus flower tacos (which were completely amazing, I might add). After our amazing lunch, we spent the day chatting with the locals, playing a little bit longer in the park, and walking to the grocery store to get a few small things for me to make dinner. I will remember this day for a while! Truly divine! Point taken: I am not alone!

Real-life this was my refrigerator the Monday after I landed. By Friday it was all gone.
I remember posting a picture like this on Facebook a while back with the hashtag GOALS. Someone immediately responded, “it’s all going to go bad within a week”. Lord, if they only knew. The food wasn’t in the refrigerator long enough to go bad.
Eating a raw vegan diet, I found myself eating all day; refueling on fruits and vegetables. But I feel the best I’ve felt in years!

Being A Black Millennial...Expat... with a 4-year-old
Firstly, I am incredibly proud of the progress the Black and Brown community has made fulfilling our ambitions to travel. Large strides have been made to produce better platforms for black travelers all over the world.
I remember nearly ten-years-ago, watching travel vlogs and reading travel articles from one lens to now witnessing, in real time, travel from millennial men and women who look just like me. It's truly inspiring! And I am so proud to say that I am one of them.
Blog sites such as www.travelnoire.com make it easier for the modern black traveler to find spectacular destinations, amazing food choices and mind-blowing ‘to-do’ lists all in one place.
The strides are evident, and with the increased online visibility of black travel, my peers are realizing travel is something that is actually attainable. This realization has been monumental in my decision.
I mean, when it came to announcing that I was uprooting my 4-year-old to Mexico, the responses from older demographics were alarming in 2019. The fears they still possessed regarding moving anywhere outside of the tri-state area were mind-numbing. A move to Atlanta from Philadelphia would have been a reasonable and more realistic change. And while it takes a real leap of faith anytime you uproot, that was not the change I envisioned for Khi and I. However, the feedback from my fellow millennials was exactly what I needed to stay focused and encouraged. Also having friends (none with kids, but...) that successfully uprooted themselves to foreign places successfully gave me that extra boost as well.
So far being a Black Millennial Expat in Mexico with a 4-year-old, is...WAIT FOR IT... so incredible. I couldn't have dreamed of a better experience. The other day, Khi and I visited our local park in efforts to find a friend to play with. Having a limited Spanish vocabulary, Khi pushed me to speak to the parents' of the young kids so he could play with them. Initially, I was a bit hesitant. Although my understanding and vocabulary of the Spanish language is greater than his, I still haven't grasped the confidence to become conversational. But that day I did. I had the first of many conversations in Spanish. I believe if I was here by myself I would have put it off a bit longer. I also challenge myself daily to learn, visit, and explore new areas to keep him busy. These are all parts of the “ballsiness” of being a Black Millennial... Expat... with a 4-year-old. So, label me impulsive, unrealistic, and privileged. I am branding myself as a part of history and paving ways for my son to believe in what was once "unrealistic" as an all possible mission.

What A First Week! Whoooaaa
Do you remember that point, when you were actually standing in the moment of your manifestations? What were your thoughts? What were your feelings? Most importantly what was your energy like? During this first week I was plagued with thoughts and feeling of anxiousness, worry, fear of the unknown, and a slight hint of loneliness. And to top it all off, being as I made this ballsy move with little to no real savings and awaiting my tax return, the urgency to get a 9-5 was approaching. All of this running through my mind had my energy off, to say the least.
But wait, isn’t that what I was escaping? Didn’t I take this leap of faith, trusting the Universe to provide (as it already has) so that I could stop trading my time for being just over broke (in my case, just at broke)? This morning I had to approach my meditations different. I had to first apologize to myself and the Universe for underestimating us so quickly in a time of fear. I had to remind myself that everything I have ever desired has been in my possession. Due to hard work, a manifesting mind, and divine timing, I am currently (finally!) living in my purpose. I am able and capable of raising my son. I am currently in a position to dictate my own time, as well as, my own freedom. I am able to define that for myself. So before I truly wrap this week up, I declare a release from all fear and from all limiting thoughts that will diminish this honoring opportunity that I have.
Now onto week one’s wrap up! This has been an amazing first week overall. We’ve met some wonderful people, explored beautiful parts of the city Playa Del Carmen, enjoyed some incredible beach time and also set time apart to perfect our Spanish. And honestly, we’ve eaten better in the past week than we have in the past year. We’ve also have had some minor setbacks, that now, looking back on it, make me laugh.
So, setbacks:
1. Almost set fire to my small studio apartment learning how to work the stove.
2. Pretty sure the money exchange place cheated me out of $300 pesos. Which to be fair, is completely my fault because I was rushing and not paying attention fully to what or how things were being calculated.
3. Our kitchen sink started to leak, so I had to use one of my good towels to clean up the water. Which is not the end of the world because I can always get the sink fixed and wash the towel.
So as I said, just small setbacks that in essence reminded me to slow down and remain present. As far as everything else, we’re going as our bodies and spirits guide us.
I tried to put khi on a strict schedule for at least three days out the week (Tuesday-Thursday). His schedule included schooling, playtime activities, strictly designated screen time and outdoor exploration. So far so good! His Spanish is really improving and getting him to bed on time is a true Mommy win for me that honestly, I couldn’t accomplish well back in our old routine. Everything about living in this moment is a blessing and a win for me, as well as, the culture.
I hope that my experience touches someone and encourages someone like I was encouraged. Before writing this, I laughed remembering the times when I would watch videos and follow Instagram pages of individuals who were living this life and NOW, I AM ONE OF THEM! I am at that moment. I get to live life on my own terms. This week has truly served as a reminder for my spiritual self. A constant reminder to STAY PRESENT and IN ALL THINGS, GIVE THANKS! Peace and blessings!

From the moment I stepped foot onto Playa’s great soil, I’ve been introduced to so many opportunities that can jet set my future in major ways!
But before I dive into that I must acknowledge the fact that I’ve been in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico for one entire month and have decided that I will not be returning to the states unless I absolutely have to! This has been a place of healing, growth, reflection, and freedom for me. And unselfishly enough, everyone I’ve come in contact with (expat specific) has vouche for the same thing. This place has some severe healing powers!
But back into how God-iverse has placed me in positions that were perfect and purposed. I am not now a dance teacher for Dance4fun Dance Studio, the Public Relations Manager for The Moon Baby Show, and will be headlining my Women’s Wellness Retreat 2020/2021 alongside a very influential light being! All opportunities providing me opportunities to travel worldwide, as well as, put my degree to use.
Outside of obvious reasons why all this brings me much joy, I am overjoyed because this is exactly what I asked God for. I am now walking in my manifestions! Here’s to Playa!

If you are wondering how I am improving my Spanish daily, it is through DuoLingo. I make a point to spend 15 mins practicing in this app. Working with this app for 1 month, I am already having conversations with locals, understanding basic terminology, and able to get around Mexico pretty easily.
Download this app today! They feature several different languages aside Spanish, such as, French, Arabic, and even forgotten languages such a Navajo and Klingon. So what are you waiting for? And did I mention, IT’S FREE!
