That scene in s9 is probably one of my favorite Jay moments because of how well it shows why Wu chose him and what his role is in the team. Being the out-of-the-box thinker, the dreamer. Especially because of how it sets him apart from the rest, like Zane, Cole or Kai, whose purposes are to protect others while Jay inspires people (s6 and s12)

salt and pepper crumbs lets GO!!! I need need neeeeeed to see salt struggle to break out of her code and struggle with defining what parts of her are really her and what parts were things mephone made her with. I like thinking about what would cause her to make that look inwards and make that change, especially since it looks like she's one of the few who haven't broken away from their original code.

my guess is, pepper obviously! brian has also said that salt needs pepper more than she realizes. maybe pepper is the one to get her to change. she wants what's best for salt and she recognizes that salts self-absorbed behavior isn't good for salt herself. but I think she's scared that by trying to open up a conversation about this, salt might not react well. this is part headcanon honestly so take this next part of speculation with a grain of salt (teehee) but. I feel like paper and pepper are at least implied to be friends! i'd like to think that they both started sharing their problems salt and oj with each other as pepper grew to realize the world doesnt revolve around salt, and paper started feeling undervalued as oj became more and more self-centered. and seeing oj actually reflect on and listen to the frustrations paper expressed with him, even in the midst of a MUCH bigger problem, I would think that could give pepper hope that she could open up to salt about the issues she has with her as well.

Upgrading the 'polaroid magnet' idea of 2019 for 2023's Xmas card trades, these ones are made from wood and use actual magnets! Luxurious! |D All the poses are also referenced from actual party photos i've taken of other people, to add to the candid vibe lol.

The dreamcatcher is kind of a gag gift (yes the craft project i reffed here) for some friends. Since they don't have the ability to fight their nightmares i have offered to [try and] do it for them XD

so true we do. a match was cancelled and rescheduled due to inclement weather, which is fine, it happens occasionally. except, the reschedule interferes with your work trip, which is how yuuta ends up with your baby boy in his lap at his pre-match press conference. yuuta was worried at first, your son definitely wouldn’t be used to the cameras and reporters, and it was also seven in the morning, so he really hoped the baby wouldn’t become too irritated, but all his worrying was for nothing. 

your baby boy didn’t seem to the mind the cameras, or the large crowd of people, his father was right there to hold him through the entire thing. with them side by side like this, their similarities really show; their droopy eyelids and tired expression, the occasional slow blinking when they’re confused or in thought, the same nose scrunch that makes everybody coo when it happens. one reporter mentions you by name, and that makes the otherwise sleepy baby perk and babble “mama” into the microphone instinctively, which melts everybody’s hearts, yuuta’s included, “that’s right, baby, that’s mama,” he coos, pinching his kid’s cheek before returning his attention to the reporter, “but, yeah, my wife—she’s great. she’s away on work right now, and we miss her a lot, but i’m so proud of her. i got to speak to her right before this conference actually, and she said she’d tune in when she could, so i hope she’s watching—wait, sorry, um… what was the question again?” (his rambling off about my wife my wife my wife is not new. it happens in every conference and interview, he’s just a loverboy through and through). 

during the match, it’s dead silent when yuuta’s about to serve and then there’s the tiniest cry of “dada,” just as he’s about the throw the ball up, which makes him smile and stop and turn to his son, and the entire crowd coos. yuuta is not too proud to blow a kiss before going to serve again.
