nora wants to kill something.

she wants to kill something, but not under anyone's orders. she wants to make it bloody and gruesome, wants to feel a head crack against a wall, to feel her hand tighten around an enemy's throat. a craving for destruction is the strongest feeling she's had lately, outside of working on auto-mode. she hasn't been feeling like herself at all.

she works through what she has to do like she used to tick off groceries on her shopping list: potatoes, carrots, meat for dinner, check; arrive at bunker hill, meet the courser, shake him down for grenades, check. this is nothing like she'd imagined the search for shaun would be, nothing like she’d imagined the future would be when she found him.

unfortunately for the courser, he's no use to her once she's been given his grenades. she'll leap at the chance to cause harm to the institute, no matter how small, so she kills him without a second thought. he's riddled with bullets and bite marks—courtesy of dogmeat—by the time nora slams his head against the brick wall once, twice, five times, and her breath comes in short bursts as she stands there staring, her face speckled with red and her fingers dripping with blood.

she takes a moment before she steps around the corner and down the street to meet with hancock, wiping her blood-streaked hands on her already stained vault-suit. dogmeat bounds behind her, the courser’s remains lying abandoned in the alleyway. she feels no satisfaction, only a hollow numbness that gnaws at her insides. the same feeling is present in her gaze as her blue eyes meet hancock's, absent of any other emotion.

"come on," nora murmurs, turning away from him and towards bunker hill. just as she does so, she hears the whirring blades of a vertibird in the sky above them, spotting it approaching from the gap in the street. the courser said the situation had elevated and the brotherhood got word of what was happening; looks like it was right. So my friends and i were talking abt tmp, as one does. And we were wondering if the tunnels were a thing now that the archives are in manchester (because yk the fucking hole in the floor...). Since they were a part of millbank prison and designed by smirk etc. We doubted it since we had not heard shit from smirk, but suprise suprise the assumtion was wrong. There is a prison in manchester, commonly called strangeways. Strangeways is, in fact, also built like a panopticon.....

I live in fear for the coming episodes. And i hope Jonny and Alex find some terrefying way to prove us wrong
