HI guys:D just finished LB2

Second movie: Legally Blonde: Red, white and Blonde. So Emmet and Elle are engaged and are planning their wedding, I'm gonna skip the intro's because I need more people to pirate and watch this movie as well. Elle hires a private investigator to locate Bruiser's (Her dog) mom. She is able to locate her and with a little chase led by Bruiser they are led to a lab where they test cosmetic products on animals, one of which is the mother in question. And thus she is inspired by the sight of the animals being tested on to join legislation and pass a bill (Bruiser's bull) to stop animal testing for cosmetics. Ok first thing I want to mention is how starkly different Elle is to the rest of the DC people. (I forgot the term for them) Where as she is happy and positive they are all down to earth and a bit gloomy. Another thing that is really evident in this movie is the way she approaches law and trust. She doesn't use tricks or games to get their attention, she appeals to their emotions, heart, and humanity. She connects with a Congresswoman Hausman with her being a past Delta Nu member, the sorority she is a part of. She connects with Congressman Stan by his love for his dog. (And the fact that Bruiser and his dog Leslie are both gay and in love but this filmed during the early 2000's so there's still plenty of stigma against it.) Also, she is just overall kind. Through her kindness she befriends the Doorman at the hotel she is staying at and without him, she wouldn't have appealed to two other congress members through his street smart and information through quote "Lots of dog walking and plastic bags." Once again Elle's support system uplifts her throughout the movie. She is supported by her Fiancé to go for DC, she is supported by the allies she has made by showing them kindness and love. By her Coworkers who, even though their boss made a statement on live TV that she is withdrawing her support for Bruiser's bill, are willing to join Elle on this fight because they're inspired by her. Seeing her determination, resolve, and the results they produce despite all the hurdles that face her she still carries on and "sparkles" as one of them puts. They are inspired by the change she brought to the room when at first they looked down on her for being "sparkly." Also one of the most important parts of this support system is her family at Delta Nu. During the point in the movie where she needs to get 218 votes from the congress, she calls up her sisters and started what they called a "phonetree." All these sisters called their sisters from other parts of Delta Nu and they all, and I mean ALL come to Washington and hold a march to pass the bill and get more votes. In this montage we see real campaigns for animal welfare which I think is cool asf. However even with all this effort they are still not enough, just barely reaching their needed number with 203 votes. And once more she is supported by her thought to be rival to blackmail the congresswoman that Elle initially worked under to pass the bill (though it wasn't Elle's idea to blackmail her since she just wished to be honest and do the right thing which is one of her core values tbh.) So Elle gives an amazing speech but its not about the bill as they all thought, she gives a speech about what she learned while being at DC. I wont spoil it cause its kinda fire how she connects her experience and the need for speaking up, how speaking up as one voice could impact so much. In conclusion she gets the remaining votes and the bill is passed. She gets married and finally, the whole reason for the moive, she gets to invite Bruiser's mom to their wedding who is later adopted by the Doorman.

Omfg I did not realize how much I yapped. Anyway's just a little thingy majig I liked how Emmet is not really a main focus in the movie. Yes she does look to her fiancé for advice but he doesn't take away from her drive and storm. Where I really noticed it was at the end of the movie where as they drive away in their car Elle is the one driving. He let's her lead and he just continues to support and love her (Warner could learn something 🙄🙄.)

Thought dumping about Legally Blonde because I just finished the 1st movie and now I'm watching the second. (pirated ofc)

First Movie: Legally Blonde. OK so Warner (👎👎) broke up with her to look good for his family and Elle decides "I'm gonna go to Law School!" So she works her ass off while still being a baddie and her whole sorority is so supportive (I'll talk about this later) Then she passes and gets into Harvard and blahblahblah. Ok so to me the main thing about this movie is like just following your heart which is what Elle literally did when she passed the Lsats just for her ex-boyfriend to hopefully take her back, and what she continues to do for the rest of the movie. I think the moment she realized that she wanted to do something with this law thing was when she helped Paulette get her dog back. There is a moment in the movie where it zooms in on her face as she watches how happy Paulette looks with her dog and I feel like something started to spark in her. So she goes on wtih the Windham case and uses her knowledge as a sorority girl (for lack of a better term) and as a law student to build trust, connect dots and see things from different perspectives. Another crucial part in the movie is when Callahan (👎👎) flirted with her to persuade her to go into his firm full time. It was a point in the movie where I saw that she was aware of how people perceive her, that she was pretty, perky and the "typical blonde." Its understandable that she wants to go back home and forget about her time as a law student because of this interaction, it exaggerated her thoughts and made her insecure about her current standing and if her hard work was just for naught since people just saw her as "a blonde." Now let's talk about the support system she has in this movie. Elle was surrounded by people who thought supported her in everything, her sorority, her parents, and even her professor later in the movie. Support is such a big help to Elle because without it she probably wouldn't have stayed in Harvard after seeing Warner and Vivian together because she was supported by Paulette to quote "steal the bastard back." She also wouldn't have defended Brooke Windham in trial if her professor didn't encourage her to keep going after being hit on by Callahan. The support that surrounded Elle helped her all the way through the movie and even after into the second.
