Using Sunscreen Before or After Moisturiser - Know Your Skincare
It is becoming increasingly difficult for skin to breathe clean air as a result of the deterioration of the environment and the rise in pollution. To put this in terms that are much easier to understand, one should always protect themselves from the sun by using sunscreen or some other form of sun protection, such as a light tinted moisturizer that offers SPF protection. In order to ensure that the skin is not harmed on the inside or the outside. Because of the rise in temperature and the thinning of the ozone layer, which our skin directly experiences, global warming is becoming increasingly dangerous. If proper precautions are not taken, this can result in skin cancer, severe heat burns, and a variety of other complications. If you do not always wear protection, individuals who are allergic or who have extreme skin sensitivity run the risk of developing tumors and the form of cancer known as melanoma that affects the skin. Choosing a sunscreen can be particularly challenging due to the wide variety of UV protection products available on the market today, which cater to a variety of various skin types. If you are seeking for the best sunscreen cream for the face, then you should ensure that you read the article in its entirety to learn how and why you should apply moisturizer and sunscreen in the same order.
Suncreen vs. moisturizer- Which One Comes First?
Every question in this world has a debate with two sides. First, let us understand the benefit of moisturizer before proceeding towards sunscreen. Then we can judge what we should apply first according to our preferences, as we all know that different kinds of moisturizers and sunscreen are available in the market with different ingredients and concentrations. There are two kinds of moisturizers: one that protects our skin from different exterior elements creating a barrier and another that is absorbed by our skin to give a regeneration and glowy effect.
It is the same with sunscreen as sunscreen is meant to be a protection gear blocking harmful UV rays from entering our skin. There are two kinds of sunscreens one is chemical based, and another is mineral based. Chemical-based sunscreen should always be applied over the moisturizer. When in contact with the skin for too long, chemicals can be harmful; hence, it is a good idea to apply moisturizer before sunscreen. Chemical sunscreens are usually the ones which have spf 50 sunscreen for the face or higher. On the other hand, mineral-based and sunscreens are first absorbed by the skin to do their job without a protective layer and should be applied before the moisturizer.
Benefits Of Putting Sunscreen And Moisturizer Together
Sunscreen cream for face, along with moisturizer, can help in many different ways as it can protect you from dust and pollution by creating a barrier and often can retain heat keeping the UV rays away from your skin. It is like moisturizer sunscreen, which has 9 in 1 benefits that include majorly protection and Wellness of the skin.
One can also buy different kinds of best face sunscreen with induced moisturizer in them so that the person is freely applying only one layer of sunscreen with the benefits of moisturizer to keep the two tasks in one, being convenient.
How To Apply It & How Frequently?
When you go outside, putting sunscreen on your face is one of the most critical things you can do for your skin. It is necessary to wear some form of sun protection at all times, thus it is even advised that you use it indoors as part of a skin care routine rather than making it a makeup routine, as it is. You can successfully apply sunscreen to your face by following these procedures in the appropriate order.
It is imperative that you thoroughly wash your face.
After you have finished washing your face and getting it clean, you should then pat it dry.
If you keep your moisturizer and sunscreen in separate bottles, you should prioritise applying the moisturizer.
You need to make sure that you apply your sunscreen after rubbing the moisturizer into your skin for at least two minutes before you walk outside.
Conclusion
We hope that you have learnt much more about sunscreen and will take your makeup and self-care routine seriously with your skin. Sunscreens are an important and crucial step that is not to be missed at any cost.

I am generally very “live and let live“ about these things on an individual basis, and the furthest thing from anti-femininity. I literally don’t own pants, nor do I ever intend to, for example. I respect that some women prefer to wear make up for whatever reason, and that deciding whether you do it for yourself or because of patriarchal beauty standards is a very case-by-case thing. Some people do the soul-searching and come out the other end with the knowledge that they ARE doing it for themselves!
But… Reading Internet discourse about whether women should have to wear make up at work is making me want to bite and tear and rend
“it makes you look more polished! It makes you look more put together! It looks like you’re taking care of yourself and taking your job seriously!“ WHY. Please explain to me WHY women look like we ~aren’t taking care of ourselves~ if we don’t slap extra goop on our faces every morning. Give me a succinct reason that makes sense and doesn’t rely on the assumption that make up is somehow a natural state of womankind
And then explain why the same thing doesn’t hold true for men
(TERFS get lost)

Apologies in advance for the cringe!
I kid you not, my friend and I love to fangirl when u drop another one of your wesker takes 🫣 then we go over them together like it’s a raven from another continent /half joke.
Do u think wesker would be a beanie or an earmuffs guy?? Assuming this man cares to protect his hair from the cold.
🥰🥰🥰 no cringe just wholesome 🥰🥰🥰
My first impressions was earmuffs BUT YOU'RE RIGHT. This man would absolutely have a beanie for long periods in the cold. I'm thinking S.T.A.R.S. era Wesker just chilling in the Midwestern cold with a S.T.A.R.S. beanie on, enjoying a hot coffee or like has wittle heating pads in his mittens for them -0° weather.
I still feel like earmuffs would be his go to, just cause you don't really see him use any head warmth stuff in game. Like in the Umbrella Chronicles. Mans was just walking around in the Siberian tundra with only a trenchcoat, sunglasses and gloves for any sort of warmth and protection from the elements.
Earmuffs would've also been a great addition to his ensemble. Keeps his iconic look still looking iconic but also conveys that he's in the fucking Siberian tundra, but i digress.
Final answer: Beanie pre S.TA.R.S. Earmuffs post S.T.AR.S.
As for if he cares about hair care or skin care, I lowkey think he doesn't and he just has great genetics (kek). Mans is a boomer, he has never on-screen cared about anything regarding his appearance other than smoothing back his hair regularly. That just seems like a habit he has because the little baby hairs tickle his forehead during any sort of activity and it annoys him.
Like those memes where one person does all this skincare and still has acne but the other just splashes water on they face and looks great. I don't think he cares too much tbh.
Love it when i get asks 🥰🥰🥰

on the one hand skin care routines and products can become something to obsess over and that’s not good for a plethora of reasons mostly revolving around how the industry preys upon your insecurities
on the other hand developing a skin care routine that focuses on it as a self care process can help with one’s mental health by showing to yourself that you’re worth the time and effort to take care of yourself
like all things in life, balance is key

“Skincare routines are a scam.”
Correct, we really —
“We don’t need moisturizer or to wash our face or to use sunscreen!”

what's your thoughts on skincare?
in most cases, a lot of it is unnecessary. a lot of skincare (especially the stuff marketed toward women) is just scams and a waste of money that’s promoted using misogynistic anti aging shit. anything more than a simple cleanser + moisturizer + sunscreen unless you need some sort of medicinal thing for your skin is silly

Washing my face before bed is hateful and gets water all over the place. Showering is a pleasant sensory experience, but takes a distasteful amount of planning
Moisturizing and braiding my hair before bed feels like being a queen in her chamber, gently applying rare unguents as part of a luxuriant pre-sleep ritual
Hope this helps
