Zależy o co pytasz, moja przygoda z niedowagą i ogólnie tego typu rzeczami, zaczęła się gdy miałam 8/9 lat. Na poxzatku przestałam jeść tyle ile powinnam, później zaczęły się głodówki, przestałam jeść gdy osoby z mojej klasy mi dokuczały. Mowily mi że jestem gruba, i takie tam. podam przykład gdy powiedziałam koleżance ze jestem głodna, a kolega, nazwijmy go Antek powiedział mi, "a kiedy nie haha!". A na Tumblr działam od 2020, niestety moje stare konto zostało zbanowane, i zrobiłam kilkuletnią przerwę (w 2022 lipcu zostało zbanowane a stworzyłam te w kwietniu tego roku.)

Ogólnie zagłębiam się w tą sprawę od jakiegoś 12 roku życia, mam na myśli Tumblr, bo widziałam filmiki od nanami chan, stąd się dowiedziałam o motylkowej społeczności.

No i mamy wakacje. Moje ostatnie przed klasą maturalną. Trochę przerazajace ale już raczej oswoiłam się z tym więc teraz nie o tym.

Właśnie, wakacje. W małym mieście. Co roku się boje i co roku odczuwam samotność. Od 2020 praktycznie kazde wakacje spędzam samotnie. Z mojego rocznika w mieście jest może max 40 osób z czego są grupki po 10 osób. No a ja jestem sama. Trochę mi przykro bo zawsze chciałam mieć swoją grupkę przyjaciół w czasach szkolnych i teraz uświadomiłam sobie ze jej nie będę mieć. Jedyną przyjaciółkę mam w innym mieście choć teraz już nawet do mnie nie pisze to nie wiem czy mogę to nazwać przyjaźnią, zresztą ona ma swoich przyjaciół na miejscu. I niby to jest takie narzekanie bo halo skoro nie masz znajomych to ich znajdź. Ale no naprawdę jest mało możliwości tutaj, przez internet ciężko, w moim mieście jak mówiłam każdy każdego zna i no nie ma za bardzo jak a do innych miast nawet dojazdu nie mam. Niby mam prawko ale nie mam auta, jeśli je będę miała to już inna sprawa ale jak nie uda mi się ogarnac tego w wakacje no to lipa.

I naprawdę poniekąd zaakceptowałam to ze zazwyczaj ten wakacyjny czas jak i kazde inne wolne spędzam samotnie. Ale mi po prostu przykro. I pamietam jak pisałam praktycznie to samo w swoim dzienniku jak miałam 14 lat.

Mam zainteresowania, mam co robić, lubię spędzać czas sama ze sobą, nie czuje jakiejś mega potrzeby rozmowy i wygadania bo zawsze załatwiam to pisaniem np tutaj ale czuje ze mogłabym spędzić ten czas ciekawiej. Brakuje mi śmiania się z kimś do bólu brzucha, zasypiania z telefonem w ręku po intensywnym dniu w towarzystwie itp.

Rok temu tez miałam takie obawy ale na początku czerwca weszłam w związek i jakoś tak zleciał mi wakacje z chłopakiem. Teraz już go nie ma. Dostaje snapy od jego znajomych ze są na urodzinach jednego z nich i świętują wakacje i jakoś mi tak nie wiem. Nie moge przestać myśleć ze gdybym nadal z nim była to byłabym teraz razem z nimi i bym się bawiła. A tymczasem siedzę w domu.

I niby wiem ze na dobre mi wyszło to rozstanie i nie chodzi o to ze za nim tesknie ani nic, po prostu o to ze tesknie za ludzmi. Nie jakimiś konkretnymi ale po prostu. Od jakichś 5 lat nie czułam ze mam swoją grupkę, ze gdzieś należę i to takie dziwne.

Ten tydzien mnie przejechal i zaowocowal wieloma przemysleniami. Rowniez Wasze wpisy sa inspirujace. 

Nie bylam w tym miesiacu na spotkaniu zespolu. StaryNowyCzlowiek to zaakceptowal, ale Szefuncio juz nie. Mam tyle planow i potrzeb, ze nie moge sobie pozwolic na odejscie z pracy ani nawet na zwolnienie lekarskie. Nie ma takiej opcji. Z drugiej strony widze, ile mnie ta praca kosztuje. Przytylam Bog wie ile kilogramow, powrocily dawne leki i niepewnosci. Przestalam sie rozwijac zawodowo i prywatnie. W poprzedniej pracy w takich warunkach wytrzymalam 5 miesiecy, tu za chwile beda 2 lata. 3 lata temu dostalam po raz pierwszy licencje do reki. Gdybym poswiecila na to chociaz godzine dziennie, dzis bylabym w zupelnie innym miejscu. Ale rzecz jasna nie jestem, poniewaz gnije i stoje w miejscu pod praktycznie kazdym wzgledem. Od 2020 pracuje z domu i mam wiecej czasu, ale z glowa coraz gorzej. 

Tak siadam co jakis czas i probuje ogarnac to, co rozsypuje mi sie miedzy palcami. Mija kilka dni i znowu jest to samo. Jeszcze napatrzylam sie na glupoty w internetach typu idealny dzien, idealny dom i kolory, full kosmetykow, szczescie i rzyganie tecza. Tylko ja jestem takim ziemniakiem. Powinnam duzo zarabiac, miec spokojna i satysfakcjonujaca prace, rozwoj osobisty, wage idealna, pielegnacje roku pod kazdym wzgledem i jeszcze najlepiej do tego dziecko. Jesli inni moga, to i ja tez powinnam. 

Do tego od 2 miesiecy nie moge normalnie porozmawiac z moja matka, poniewaz jest ciagle w kosciele. Zostawiam rozmowe na weekend, sama sie w cos wciagam i ona sie denerwuje. Pisze do mnie, ja do niej dzwonie, a ona mnie zlewa. Dzis bylo tak samo, wspomnialam ze kupilam duzo truskawek, to ona do mnie, to idz ogarniaj truskawki, nie czas na rozmowe. No kurwa sie zdenerwowalam. To moje truskawki i moj czas. Wiem, ze jesli powiem jej, ze jest mi przykro z powodu jej zachowania, to i tak to nic nie zmieni. Mialam dzis do niej tyle pytan. Jesli strzele na nia focha, to znowu bedzie moja wina, jesli oleje temat, to znowu przestane dbac o siebie i moje granice oraz szacunek. Wtedy mysle sobie, ze nie kazdy ma mozliwosc rozmowy z matka i w mojej glowie robi sie kociol. I tak zle, i tak niedobrze. 

Ale wszystkiego sie nie da. Jestem zmeczona doslownie wszystkim. Nie mam sil. Wale glowa w mur.

Moges Zewdu Teshome | Vienna School of International Studies | International law | Genocide denial |

Another in our series of Ethiopian academics who lobbied for genocide in Tigray is Moges Zewdu Teshome. He gained a law degree in Ethiopia before continuing his studies at Vienna School of International Studies in Austria. But despite his law degree, just like the others featured in this blog, Moges Zewdu Teshome used his expertise to deny genocide in Tigray, deny specific atrocities in Tigray. He used his social media presence from 2020 to 2022 as a spamming tool to attack journalists, human rights researchers, diplomats, activists and anyone who called for an end to war crimes and an end to Ethiopia’s genocidal war in Tigray. He appeared in Ethiopian television outlets where he spread his views and mocked suffering victims of drone massacres. Today, he remains active in atrocity denial, genocide denial, and played an important role in the spread of genocidal propaganda.

Shortly after Ethiopian and Eritrean troops began attacking Tigray in November 2020, much of the world expressed fear and worry about possible human rights abuses and the impact on Tigrayans. You would expect the educated elite to feel the same. But like many of his fellow Ethiopian academics, Moges Zewdu Teshome feverishly cheered on the war even as reports of slaughter of civilians began to emerge.

Two days after the war began he tweeted the following: My single most important advise in relation to the war in Ethiopia is this: once you chose the path of war, GIVE WAR A CHANCE!!!

“Give war a chance!” he later tweeted on November 11th 2020, a week after the fighting had begun. “Surge the offensive and finish off the job. When there is no peace to keep, war brings it along. Talk to the bandits in the only language they know, coercion, not persuasion.”

He tweeted at the Ethiopian genocidal Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed that all out war was necessary, because “half measures were as bad as no measures.”

On Twitter, Moges Zewdu Teshome joined other likeminded Ethiopian academics in harassing people who denounce war. Moges targeted Belgian European Parliament member Assita Kanko after she denounced the war, Moges targeted Human Rights Watch researcher Laetitia Bader by calling her a “TPLF crony” after she condemned the targeting of the city of Mekelle in airstrikes, and UN Human Rights Council lawyer Betty Murungi who he called “disgraceful” because she called for crimes against humanity to stop.

He once tweeted, when Mekelle sneezes, Minnesota sneezes! This was how he was mocking the many anti genocide protests that were taking place in Minnesota and other cities across the United States.

When he was on air he said something similar about the anti war voices who were tweeting using the hashtag #saynotowar: “they are just pack mules for the OLA (rebel group) and TPLF (rebel group). The people who say “no to war” they are TPLF sympathizer and only want to save the rebels.”

During the war, he appeared on the Adebabay TV, which was famous for spreading hate speech targeting Tigrayans. While their, he went on air and spoke about war crimes and made arguments that justify the targeting of residential and civilian areas of a town, saying that this act does not violate war crimes laws if it is being used by rebel forces to store weapons. Remember, this person allegedly has a degree in international law.

“If an enemy is using a location as war trench or firing position or a place to hide, it can be an oil depot or another type of infrastructure, it is no longer protected (by Geneva convention) and is a legitimate military target.”

Moges Zewdu Teshome was saying this as at the time the Ethiopian government was shelling hospitals, schools, and markets in the city of Mekelle, and the towns of Humera and Shire, killing at least 83 civilians, including children, and wounding over 300 (Human Rights Watch). His comments timing came and became justification for the use of everything from hospitals to homes as military targets.

He also stated in the same interview that the war was not a civil war, because only the Ethiopian government could designate it as a civil war and it had not done so. According to Moges Zewdu Teshome’s hilarious misinformation, only if it is an international conflict can outsiders designate a conflict. In that case, only the international community and the Red Cross (ICRC) a humanitarian medical organization can issue a designation! This was done to promote the government description of the war as “law enforcement operation” very similar to Russian government term for its invasion of Ukraine: “special military operation.” He attacked people who used the world civil war to describe conflict that killed hundreds of thousands.

He used genocidal language to justify the war in another interview. He said it was necessary operation to “make Tigrayans accept Ethiopianism again.”

For the next couple of years, he used his air time and social media time to mock Tigrayan victims of atrocities and the anti war protesters who called for a ceasefire.

Between August and September 2022, there were several drone massacres in Tigray, including one which killed seven people including children when a kindergarten in the city of Mekelle was struck, and two more which killed ten people in residential areas a few weeks later.

Most of the time, when drones and airstrikes were killing people in Tigray, journalists would reach out to doctors at Ayder Hospital, the only functioning major hospital in Tigray, since genocidal forces had destroyed and looted over 70% of the region’s health centers. Dr. Kibrom Gebreselassie from the Ayder Hospital, would often confirm the drone strikes since he personally received victims.

As a result of his work, Mr Moges Zewdu Teshome identified Dr Kibrom and began singling him out for harassment on social media. He denied the drone strikes even happened and would claim that Dr. Kibrom was lying.

“General Kibrom Gebreselassie is back again from the front line of the battlefield!” he said. “whenever and wherever there is Kibrom, there is a drone!” He would repeatedly insult him, once calling him “the sole mouthpiece for the TPLF propaganda wing.”

He claimed that the reports of drones attacking civilians were a “distortion of facts.”

“How can every drone strike attack civilians? And how can all the medical professionals speak the same narrative? Coincidence or coordinated campaign?”

Drone strike massacres across Tigray were confirmed by many media reportings. But Moges Zewdu Teshome denied the reportings. Remember, he spoke on air saying that drone massacres of civilian targets would be permitted if there were rebel armaments in the area. He uses the same logic used by genocidal Israeli forces in Gaza who justify air massacres of civilians by saying “Hamas has a tunnel there.”

“If there is a drone attack, it’s because there was fighting,” he said in response to news about the aerial massacre of 70 civilians in the village of Adi Daero. But there was no fighting and the BBC found destruction of homes in civilian areas where no fighting was happening.

He repeatedly denied genocide. Even after reports emerged of death tolls in Tigray passing half a million he still called the claim “baseless and dry propaganda.” He said “I specialize in international criminal justice I know the ins and outs of genocide.”

But even after international genocide experts came together and published a 120 page report on genocide which confirms that the Ethiopian and Eritrean armies which he defended during the war actually commit genocide in Tigray he still denies it to this day.

After people with far superior expertise than him put together a paper which he has no ability to refute, he recently changed his view from “there is no genocide” to “I wont accept genocide claim by non-authoritative scholars, only from international tribunal.”

Of course this is all hypocritical. Moges Zewdu Teshome has previously labeled two massacres outside of Tigray, one of 50 people another of 161 people that took place in 2020 as both being genocide. No international tribunal ever referred to those mass killings as genocide but it was still enough for him to give it the genocide label. It is clear that for Mr Moges Zewdu Teshome, when victims are non Tigrayan he needs no time to label it genocide even if there is no international tribunal declaration.

But if Tigrayans are slaughtered on an unprecedented scale to the point where genocide scholars release a two year report confirming genocide, it is suddenly no longer sufficient.

There is nothing new here. Moges Zewdu Teshome simply followed the pathway of the many other Ethiopian fascist scholars who have zero critical thinking and only herd mentality skills. As a result of this during a genocidal war and an attempt to wipe out Tigrayans by using killings and hunger, they all sided with two powerful armies and used their education to justify the collective punishment of 6 million people.

Onlangs stond in De Volkskrant een krachtige ingezonden brief. Al kan ik in dit geval beter spreken over een ingezonden zin. Synoniem voor de boosterprik: opsteker, schreef Ruud Vriend uit Amstelveen. Uit dit zinnetje sprak het verlangen van de briefschrijver: hij is waarschijnlijk gevaccineerd, maar ziet de - tot nu toe meer dan stroperig verlopende - boostervaccinatie als een hoopvol extraatje. Een bonusprik om de werking van de eerste vaccinatie(s) een opkikker te geven, in de hoop dat het virus hierdoor lamgeslagen zal worden en minder hard zal kunnen toeslaan bij een eventuele besmetting.

Na twee lange periodes van online onderwijs verzorgen wordt er momenteel alles aan gedaan om een derde periode van communiceren en leren vanachter een beeldschermpje tegen te gaan. Van de ene kant begrijpelijk, want er gaat niets boven het aanbieden van fysiek onderwijs waarbij de docent in rechtstreeks contact staat met elke leerling. Daarbij hebben de vele maanden van schermonderwijs er bij sommige leerlingen behoorlijk ingehakt, met name op sociaal-emotioneel gebied. Van de andere kant zorgelijk, omdat inmiddels al geruime tijd duidelijk is dat juist kinderen en jongeren vaak, wel of niet gevaccineerd, rondlopen met het virus. Elke klas heeft een aantal zieken, al dan niet corona-gerelateerd, of leerlingen die wegens besmettingen in het gezin in quarantaine zitten. En er wordt hybride onderwijs gevraagd, zodat ook de leerlingen die thuis zitten de les in de klas op afstand kunnen volgen.  

Het plichtsbesef in het onderwijs is groot. We doen er alles aan om onze taken zo goed en gezond mogelijk uit te kunnen voeren en door te laten gaan. Maar we weten tegelijkertijd ook dat de besmettingscijfers nog nooit zo hoog zijn geweest ten tijde van de eerdere periodes van online onderwijs. Het demissionaire kabinet kiest er daarnaast voor om de economie zoveel mogelijk draaiende te houden, waardoor de ouders kunnen blijven werken. Kinderen worden veelal opgevangen door de opa’s en/of oma’s (lees: risicogroep) die vervolgens weer besmet kunnen worden door hun snotterende kleinkind(eren). Dit terwijl juist weer geadviseerd wordt om afstand te bewaren ten opzichte van opa en oma. Hoe dan? Het moge duidelijk zijn: de rek is er inderdaad uit. We zijn toe aan een opsteker. Zo snel mogelijk.

MCL HCS BECAUSE I MISS HSL SO BADLY

- armin and castiel have better friendship then it was showed in the game. i think they bonded about emo bands (my chemical romance, falling in reverse, black veil brides, pierce the veil and more), since its kinda obvious that castiel listens to this type of music and as a „weird gamer kid” i can assure you armin does as well

- on the topic of armins music taste he probably had a weird obsession with a kpop gg. since hsl lasted for like 8 years in our time but for the characters it was 1,5 years idk which gg i could give him. so i would say it would be girls’ generation, blackpink or loona, depends on when do we want to place hsl in our time.

- armin and castiel are bisexual, lysander just labels himself as queer and demisexual, kentin is straight and nath also straight but he had his bicurious moment

- on the bi curious nath topic, when he started to get along with armin, he thought he developed a crush on him. but turns out it wasn’t the case he was just never this close with someone so poor guy got confused (i dont blame him tbh)

- armin would say „this one is for u shawty” and the miss the basketball shot

- if we would place hsl in 2020/2021 i think that armin would get all the guys to pkay genshin and they would be totally obsessed about it for a few good months

- i feel like armin and kentin would vape and castiel would make fun of them and call them pussies for not smoking cigarettes (it would be playfully tho)

- kentin is insecure about his height so he would buy doc martens with platforms or would wear those weird platform insoles (im sorry i saw them on tiktok ad last week and i haven’t stopped thinking about them)

- lysander got the „three cheers for sweet revenge” cover on his notebook cover

- also i think lysander would cry to helena by mcr

- i kinda hate to say it but kentin would record and post thirst traps on tiktok

- armin used to have an obsession with mbti

- lysander forgets to reply to the messages and either replies in the middle of the night because he wokes up in cold sweat remembering the unread message or he forgets what he wanted to reply so he just sends monkey gifs

Bandung

Kita bisa dibilang punya banyak banget kenangan di Bandung.

Bandung bukan cuma tempat tinggal gue, tapi juga udah kayak jadi rumah buat dia, selain Jakarta dan Semarang.

Kita sering main di Bandung. Jalan-jalan ke berbagai coffeeshop, makan-makan enak.

Bandung jadi salah satu kota yang matter bagi kita dari sejak awal pacaran. Dari jaman Le Marly masih ada, sampe sekarang itu Le Marly udah diganti jadi minimarket gitu.

September 2020, saat dia minta break, gue memutuskan buat balik ke Bandung.

Gue menjauhkan diri dari dia, supaya gak ngerasa lonely.

Gue cuma kontakan malem-malem aja, karena dia bilang kalo siang-malem fokus skripsian. Dia bahkan gak sempet kemana-mana bareng adik dan pacar adiknya. Katanya.

Setiap gue hubungin pagi-pagi, dia alesannya mau skripsian, jadi gak mau diganggu. Tapi, akhirnya dia ketauan bohong juga. Ternyata dia jalan-jalan, kesana-kemari dah pokoknya, gak skripsian seperti yang dia bilang.

Gue tau dari siapa? Dari postingan pacar adiknya dan papanya. Hehe.

Pernah suatu pagi, papanya kirim foto dia dan adiknya lagi naik moge di depan Sency. Keliatan banget tuh depan Sency, karena view belakang fotonya itu PS. Lucu? Lucu banget. Padahal bilangnya sibuk skripsian, gak sempet main. Nyesek? Iya banget :)

Yang paling bikin nyesek, foto itu pake wide angle. Padahal di antara mereka bertiga, gak ada yang pake iphone 11 atau keatas. Semuanya pake X series. Gue mencoba positive thinking, mungkin pake gopro tapi fotonya potrait......

Tapi ya, again.. itu semua cuma 1% aja. Masih banyak banget hal yang gue gak tau. Inget, kunci dari semua cerita gue: Gue baru tau semuanya di bulan November. Sedangkan cerita gue baru sampe September, so yea, masih 2 bulan lagi.

Setelah adik dan pacar adiknya itu pulang ke daerah asal mereka, dia ke Bandung nyamperin gue. Dia naik travel malem-malem, terus gue dan keluarga gue jemput.

Semua terasa normal-normal aja, dia seperti biasanya, ramah dan ceria. Gak ada kesan "pengen break" atau "pengen fokus skripsian" karena keliatannya dia juga enjoy banget tuh main di Bandung. Gak nyentuh skripsi sama sekali.

Setelah beberapa hari, dia berencana pulang ke Jakarta. Gue pengen ikut dong, biar bareng. Apalagi dia udah janjian juga mau skripsian sama temen-temennya, gue makin semangat ikut. Awalnya dia berat hati gitu, kenapa juga harus berat hati ye? Tapi akhirnya diizinin ikut kok.

Lalu kita pulang bareng deh ke Jakarta naik travel. Hihi.
