honestly I really don't care if people are yelling that games are "rip offs" of classics--Earthbound and Harvest Moon are so iconic that they inspired whole GENRES of games.

you're allowed to innovate within the framework/inspiration.

I'll sit over here with Fields of Mistria and Undertale + Deltarune and Omori and Yume Nikki and OFF and every other rpg maker game like:

Dave Smith - a down-on-his-luck “Problem Solver”, receives a new job, from a mysterious client. His new “Problem to solve” is to uncover the Mystery of Heaven Gate - a town abandoned in unknown circumstances and transformed into a tourist attraction.

SUNSET RAIN is a surreal mystery Adventure game, with elements of Visual Novel and Puzzle game, inspired by Flower, Sun, and Rain, Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Ace Attorney series.

Multifaceted, dark, mysterious story, where nothing is as it seems

Explore, make your own notes, gather information and evidence, examine found items, solve diverse puzzles

Meet a colorful gallery of intriguing characters and get to know them using a keyword-based dialogue system

NOTE FOR THE PLAYERS OF THE DEMO: To import the save file, get the file titled „Save[number]” from the demo’s folder and paste into the folder of a newly installed game. To ensure the best compatibility, please use the file saved after finishing the content of the demo and saving in the „Waiting Room”. Otherwise, you can try to use the manual save file(made at the phone/report to Angie). DO NOT TRANSFER SAVE FILES MADE DURING THE TIME WHEN GAME PROMPTS YOU TO SAVE DURING THE STORY - THESE WILL BREAK THE GAME ALMOST EVERY TIME!
