OFF/Mortis Ghost tribute sketchbook drawings. Did these to commemorate replaying the game after a very long time. Last time was probably when it got popular during the Homestuck gigapause. Think of these as a drawthrough (drawing + playthrough) of the game. They are all in A5 with Nº2 graphite pencils and 0.5 and 0.05 archival ink pens, plus digital coloring through limited color palettes in Aseprite. Just as with the Yume Nikki post, I'd love to know: What's your favorite?

last batch of staff members for the time being! if i haven't drawn a staff member that you remember existing, that just means they're shelved for now. it doesn't mean they won't EVER be used, but at this point in time i don't have a place for them. (fun fact: that used to be suffuzz's status for YEARS and look, here he is now! it doesn't mean death sentence. i will probably find a place for shelved designs eventually, we have a long way to go in the comic!) i also included dr K even though she isn't a hospital staff member just for fun

Dr. Ratio is a wild character to me because he's supposed to be the holier than thou smart guy, and he is, but he's also... not? He wants people to worship knowledge and not the person who possesses it, which is a really refreshing take on his character archetype. Screwllum is right when he says he's more of a medical doctor than a professor because he sees ignorance as something that can be cured and he's determined to do it, that's why he follows the Hunt because he's always seeking answers.

He also really looked at the Trailblazer and went "I can fix them" which is just... iconic of him to immediately prove that despite everything he believes he's stupid as fuck too

And we know Tonkla was already in his own little 4-Minutes-Universe since I don't think this really happen but was instead what he wanted to happen.

Come on, girl. If Tan got out of the house in Dead Friend Forever (he did because Phee was already dead, so the fight with Tan never happened and Phee heard Tan lighting his cigarette in limbo) and Bun survived a fall in Manner of Death, I KNOW Tonkla is going to come out of this the same way Tyme and Great did, so . . .

while writing my little flowershop au for them, i learned that i have to come up with how both aventurine and ratio take their coffee. so here, have it as well before the fic comes out.

Aventurine -

when made at home: a spoonful of honey and just a little bit of milk, enough to taste the milk and change the colour of the coffee to a slightly lighter shade

at a cafe (like starbucks or something, idk, i dont get coffee there): iced, some sort of vanilla thing, lots of cream, caramel drizzle, throw in as much sweetness as you can

Ratio -

both orders are the same (if he orders coffee out): normal brew but with so much creamer that it looks white instead of black. a little bit of sugar as well.

Hey y'all! Another weird question for you: How long do you have to fast for a blood sugar reading to count as a fasting blood sugar measurement? Also, does drinking soda (like, full sugar soda) slowly over the time before the blood test count as not-fasting? Asking because I keep testing* in the fasting blood sugar range when I am pretty sure I am not supposed to. Like, two hours after eating a meal when I've been slowly drinking soda the whole intervening time, or half an hour after drinking a whole full-sugar gatorade *with the home blood sugar test thing, not like doctor's office tests. though I test in the fasting range there too? I do know the word for the tester thing but I am brain fogged at the moment
