B) not only happening to men, it’s the nature of a society where existing in public or being part of communities often relies on having money and time to spend

I am very tired of how separatist discourse makes people create this whole evil entity out of thousands of individual, separate statements, it takes groups and mobs and homogenizes them, dehumanizes them and encourages more of it by giving shelter and validating anyone feeling attacked by the "opposite group of opinions".

So tired of hearing "they say and do this and that" when no they don't. One person says this, another person does that. One thing is not as offensive as the next. One belief is maybe not held as strongly as the next. They're not a huge mob of people that behave in the same way, but separate statements coming from separate contexts all responding to the same sentiment: hate, sorrow, fear, disgust, frustration.

This is so important, this distinction. Before you think all is lost and before getting ready to spew more of that sentiment in all directions, know that you're immediately generalizing. Know that generalizing kills the truth and acknowledge you're being careless with your words. You are allowed to do so, in fact you are still human and prone to trying to make sense of chaos, but do acknowledge this for your own mental health.

If you choose to identify and participate with any sort of group may it be based on encouraging the types of attitudes that spread compassion and not on dumping your frustrations on the attitudes you hate.

I know I talk about mdzs modern AUs a lot, but it's just somehow become a fascinating adaptation process to me, all these people making their personal calls about the nature of reality.

And a thing I keep coming back to is all the people who deliberately decide to give modern!wwx Mo Xuanyu's build.

To preserve the strength contrast that's leveraged for horny, which like, yeah that's fair, horny is an acceptable reason to make a story choice. I respect that, sometimes grudgingly.

But as a result of noticing this being done, oftentimes it seems without any reflection about why, I've developed this minor obsession with the fact that wwx in his own body at its adult height was fractionally shorter than lwj.

And this was the height he reached after a multi-year period in childhood living on scrounged garbage, plus the three months starving in the mass grave toward the end of his growth period.

Meaning that by all normal logic, a modern AU wwx who did not experience these periods of intense privation--which is most of them; it's quite rare for children to experience that particular form of total neglect in modern developed nations and modernAU!wwx's life ruining circumstances only occasionally involve intense physical torment--is going to be significantly taller as an adult.

Like. Add a few inches on there.

Because the wikia says this:

I personally believe the short but intense episode fits into Nikto’s character. He is far too functional if he dissociates a lot. Sure, maybe he’s just not a good example of it and they didn’t do the research. But at the moment there isn’t really any proof that he has anything that would slow him down.

You may argue that his actions seem too unpredictable to be of sound mind. But I invite you to look up any Russian historical figure and see the chaos of their actions.
