anidala not having some like. Completely Intense with capital S sexual chemistry makes them and their relationship so much better I think, because it gives their relationship a more realistic but also romantic touch. The awkwardness in aotc really shows so much for both of their characters and their relationship, being rack others first loves and not knowing how to act romantically, with anakin and his hardships to become a good jedi and padme having the responsibility of ruling and then later being in almost entirely control of a whole country. Idk but it makes their puppy love just the more romantic because of how unromantic it is. Like yeah Anakin doesn't know how to flirt and yeah Padme doesn't know what she wants exactly because she knows her place and she knows the risks but the realism, the uncertainty, the akwardness just makes their "good scenes" so much better. so I just don't get how people say that they didn't have any chemistry because I feel that those scenes not only fit into their characters and their perspective but also makes such a good subversion of the "forbidden lovers" trope???
