Modern Kida
Designing a modern Kida was an adventure... which ultimately ended with her being dressed as an adventurer. I wanted her to be recognizable so I didn't change a lot of the details, just the clothing. This is a woman who is chasing down archeological sites and possibly enjoyed a number of unnamed 80s movies.

"We look stupid."
"No you look stupid dingus, I look hot."
"Why did Dustin have to have a Halloween party anyway? Isn't he still a baby? Doesn't he trick or treat?"
"He's 19 Steve."
"AND?!"
"Psh whatever. You just don't want to go cause you don't want to meet the people he's replaced you with."
"I do not! I have not been replaced. He's allowed to have other friends...as long as he knows who's #1."
Robin shoves him off the sidewalk as they approach the door.
"Men in Black was a good costume, it's easy, and we look good in suits."
"It's easy because it's dumb, besides, Halloween is stupid."
The front door opens and Steve's mouth goes dry. That's not Dustin.
"What?" Robin chuckles at him.
Steve falls to one knee.
"What!" Robin shrieks at him.
He turns his head in her direction but keeps his eyes on the stranger at the door.
"I take back what I said. Not stupid."
"What isn't stupid?" The beautiful stranger at the door is talking to him!
"Halloween," Robin states.
"Oh what are you supposed to be?"
Steve's mouth is faster than his brain.
"Your future husband."
Robin's mouth drops open.
The man at the door chuckles.
"That's why you're in a suit huh? And on one knee? Man am I lucky."
Steve's dark red.
"I'm anything you want me to be," His tone is so serious.
"Is that right, hmmm." He bends down and touches the collar of Steve's shirt. He frowns and Steve's heart plummets to his stomach.
"What's wrong?"
"Well I was hoping for boyfriend material but I think husband material might work out in the end," handsome stranger giggles at him.
"Oh my god marry me right now."
"Steve-"
"Not now Robin I must have him."
Robin sighs and leans across him, holding out her hand.
"Robin Buckley and you are?"
"Eddie Munson," handsome man replies. "I assume you're Steve?"
Steve blinks at him. Not a thought behind his eyes.
"Uh-huh"
"Okaaay big boy why don't we get you guys inside and get this party started. Then we can discuss your proposition." he turns around and walks inside slowly moving his hips hypnotically.
Steve gets up slowly and turns to Robin.
"Rob."
"Steve."
"I need him."
"Ok buddy let's go inside."

Modern Kayley
Kayley was a difficult redesign in some ways… she turned out a little bit 90s skater girl, more than I maybe intended. But I really wanted layering and huge cargo pants pockets. What do you think?
I think this will be the last modern redesign for a while. In order to get the business stuff rolling and a new larger project on the horizon I will have to post less on social media. I have to sleep sometime unfortunately 🤣🥲

i knwo a lot of people like the aos cadet and dress uniforms but i do Not and am actively trying to think up alternatives…… with tos kirk though lmao sorry
#anyways. tos kirk thiugh#ive never tried to draw this man younger until now. hm#star trek#captain kirk#james t kirk#also the into darkness grey ones theyre actually way worse than 2009#like if we’re gonna stick with modern/current common cuts why not at least do something a little more different with the paneling or#color blocking or whatever#theres a tiny bit of interest w the paneling but over all just looks like if you took a japanese school uniform and westernized it and#made it worse#the all red is fun though ill give it that#the grey ones from into darkness have absolutely nothing going for them though#anyways of course costuming will always depend on the time period that it is made. but it looks sooo 2010 i mean this in a bad way#also whatever fabric was chosen for ghe red ones pisses me off idk#anyways i dunno anything about fashion. im just drawing things
