Natalie has done a lot wrong in her life, but you gotta respect how she was on the brink of death and could barely stand, but grabbed a freaking crossbow to murder her boss/ex-crush. Then she nearly/actually dies, but she wakes up perfectly healthy for reasons she doesn’t yet understand, and her first thought is: “I gotta murder my boss again.”

the most unrealistic thing abt miraculous ladybug the fact that Adrien takes the public transport, alone, multiple times. controlling father aside, you’re telling me a wealthy kid that was homeschooled and kept inside of his house his entire life knows how to ride the subway??? his personal chauffer/bodyguard and assistant drive him to school daily, that kid does not fucking know how to read a metro map. one time he tried to run away from home and bc google maps told him that the fastest way to Nino’s was via subway, he very confidently walked into the station and then proceeded to swipe his credit card through the turnstile and panic when it very obviously did not work, stood there for fifteen minutes having the worst moral dilema of his life whilst considering fare jumping before ultimately deciding that it was not worth it and returned back home

Okay, just watched the new episode! Wow we got so much!

It was great actually getting to see a bit of living, breathing Emilie, she and little Adrien were adorable! She seems like a good mom, so sad to hear that Adrien thought Gabriel didn't love him. Wish we'd gotten more flashbacks like this in earlier seasons, it'd have made us feel Adrien's loss of her a lot more!

Natalie's looking good in this style! Not sure I'm a fan of her longer hair, but otherwise I'm happy! She looks very young and well rested, so good for her!

It was so cool getting to see both sets of grandparents! Was not expecting that at all! Emilie's dad is definitely a jerk, I feel so bad for her mom. Glad she finally stood up for herself and Adrien in the end!

Love Gabriel's parents! They seem so cool, and that line about not being married but still chained together like convicts of love was funny. I can't imagine how these two managed to create the Gabriel Agreste we know and hate! Hope we get to see more of them since they're in Paris!

Poor Adrien was so stressed this whole episode! Glad he got a happy ending with Natalie (despite maybe dying for a minute there??? wish we'd gotten confirmation about what happened when the rings were broken)! Love the little moment we got in the end with him and Natalie though, that was so sweet to see her comforting him, even if we had to see Gabriel being a jerk to the poor baby!

Last but not least, Marinette was cute in this episode, absolutely trying her best to be a supportive girlfriend. I do hope we eventually get to see Adrien meeting her grandparents, that'd be adorable!

Mayura is a cool name and all, but I can’t believe the English dub didn’t jump on the chance to call her Peafoul. Like there is an easy pun for evil peacock/peafowl here and they just DIDN’T USE IT.

This might be my first real like, original thought. Like, this may be entirely new to tumblr. IDK. idk if anyone else in the miraculous ladybug fandom on here has ever put any thought into it. if they have i NEED to see it. I was thinking about which characters would and wouldn't shave their armpits, and I think I have a faairly comprehensive list? Marinette: No. She doesn't have the time, and does not care enough to. Adrien: I fear he may be contractually obligated to. Perhaps S6+ he won't because oops his dad is dead, but he CERTAINLY has to s1-s5. Alya: She does, but she isn't super picky about it. She just shaves when she feels like it. Nino: He wouldn't even think to shave his armpits. Kagami: She does. Probably on scheduled days in the week. Felix: He could go either way, I fear. If he does, it's probably only when he's gearing up for some sort of theatre thing. Luka: He doesn't, and goes out of his way to make it clear that he doesn't care if anyone does or does not. Juleka: She doesn't, but used to pretty religiously when it started growing out. Rose: She does, but only for special occasions. Alix: If someone told her to shave her armpits, she'd get PISSED! I imagine her older brother teases her about it enough at home. (She doesn't shave her armpits as a STATEMENT. And because she is lazy.) Max: no.... Kim: oK SO. Here's the thing. He's a swimmer, and swimmers tend to shave for like, swimming reasons (??) but he's also the most dudebro person I've ever seen, and I feel like he'd think that shaving was gay (and that it was a bad thing). lmk what you think. Marc: Yes, but it really depends on how they're feeling that week. Nathaniel: No, but it's more of a sensory thing than anything else. Ivan: Ivan trims his armpit hair when it gets too long, but doesn't shave it. Mylene: No, she doesn't really like using disposable razors and environmentally friendly shaving creams/soaps are more expensive.. Sabrina: Yes, and it's fairly regularly maintained. Chloe: She's a little obsessive about her whole routine in my head, so she is VERY on top of shaving her armpits. Zoe: She did, but upon coming to France, she mostly stopped. When her mom comes to visit, on those ever rare occasions, she picks it back up. Lila: Yes, because of ~presentation~ BONUS ROUND: Fu: I don't know why anyone would think he would. Natalie: Yes. Now that she's an assistant to a millionaire and in her 40s at least, I imagine that's kinda protocol. Gabriel: LOL. no <3

They’re all so fucking funny. Girl is out here pulling all the Graham de Vanilys and Agrestes. I can’t decide if she was just a third for Gabe and Emelie or if she rebounded with Gabe after Emelie and then rebounded with Amelie after Gabe. Either way it’s gold. Adrien is chill with it though.
