What headcannons do yall have for how trains age/grow?

To me, they are built as adults. But they go through a childish/nieve faze when they are still learning about the world and how to exist.

So Train ages are funny to me as they don't age- so it's more like "when we're you built".

I also like the idea that trains have different life spans due to how fragile or durable they are, this also means that the ideas of old and young are different depending on what they are- like steam trains can live a really long time while electrics are more prone to damages or get retired because technology is always improving.

Also, Pearl and killerwatt are the youngest.
