Concept: RPG party member whose sexual orientation and aesthetic preferences dynamically respond to the player's character creation choices specifically to make them not attracted to you. Like, not just gender-wise: did you make your character buff? They like 'em skinny. Made yourself skinny? Now they like 'em buff. Just maximally contrary along every conceivable axis of attraction. This even affects how they relate to other NPCs in your party, to the extent that if you're trying to play matchmaker, the optimal strategy is to make your character as dissimilar as possible to whomever want to pair them up with.

I’ve decided to post all of the progress here as well, not just on instagram. Some people have asked to be tagged once I post some progress, but I can’t remember who they were. So if you wanna see future progress, let me know and I’ll tag you!

This one may not look too different from the previous one, but nothing really turned out the way I intended to.

The colors, the textures, the focus, the sounds, the camera, everything just seems so off, and oh boy the animation… this is the result of rushing and not knowing what I’m doing, just inserting keyframes, tweaking the graph editor and hoping for the best. So maybe signing up for this project wasn’t a great idea after all lol. Plus the datapad’s not even fully textured, you can literally see where I started adding details on the front, then for some reason I just left off lol

One thing I’ll definitely work on in the future is the menu itself, because if this project is for a graphic design thesis, then I might as well try to make the only thing that has something to do with it look more presentable. I’ll definitely be changing up the fonts, and I have some other ideas for the background as well.

But for now, I’ll move on to the remaining 5 character menu animations. Originally there were gonna be 5, not 7. At first I was randomly picking out the characters I wanted to make one for, then I realized, it’d probably be best, if each squad got one animation. The 501st gets Rex, the 212th gets Cody, the CG gets Fox, the 104th gets Wolffe, and the 241st gets Tukk. CF99 got Hunter but I really wanted to make one for Tech as well, since modeling and texturing him took the longest 💀

Once all of that’s done, I can finally move on to animating the trailer video. Which I’m terrified of, but oh well lol

But true confidence comes from focusing on your own journey, not someone else's highlight reel.Track your progress and celebrate how far you've come and set goals that challenge you to be a better version of yourself.

Focus on "what you can control," not the rest: Can't control others' opinions? Let it go. Focus on your strengths and actions and how you want to show up in the world Be your own boss.

you know. just like with specific terms and nicknames like clanker or shinie, clones must've come up with unique meanings for their armor paint. like with different meanings assigned to colors of mandalorian armor except since the choice of color is out of their control, all the importance lies in shapes and placement

Controversial opinion cause I know it doesn't match the style or vibe of the game and there's more fish to fry in the dragon age fandom right now about grievances but.

DAV should have given us a less lazy Lucanis intro. The man breaks out of his cell in his full gear set up including weapons. That man has been imprisoned for a year, he should not have had his gear with him and we should have gotten some dude in tattered clothing that's obviously been imprisoned who breaks out and proceeds to murder everyone with unmatched skill while also being like. disheveled as all hell. The venatori prison was not providing hair product and yet here we are. My kingdom for whoever mods the game when it comes out to have him wearing basic ass clothing and still do that intro. Give me a Lucanis with his hair a mess and wearing no armor and wiping the floor with everyone. I'm going to end up having to draw this for myself aren't I.

ways i reset on a sunday 🤍

deep clean my apartment + do laundry

every sunday i give my apartment a good deep clean— i will wash my sheets, do my laundry, clean my appliances, scrub toilets, bathtubs, and countertops, i’ll mop, and i give myself natural sunlight and fresh air by opening the windows. i like to do this in the morning so i have the rest of the day to enjoy a clean apartment

plan my week

i double check the days i work in the hospital, any appointments i might have, and any deadlines that are coming up. i create a rough idea of how my week will probably look and this is also a good time for me to write the goals i have for the following week.

run errands

i like to go grocery shopping once a week and while i’m there, i like to get necessities for the house if needed like toilet paper or toothpaste. any other errands like bank deposits will be done on this day as well.

i prefer to be alone

i spend so much time with people at work that it’s much needed for me to be alone and enjoy my own company. i will do things that i enjoy like reading, going to the beach, getting brunch (yes, alone), or whatever else my heart desires.

active recovery days

i workout daily and sundays are my active recovery days. this is when i just focus on stretching, walking, and getting my body moving in light and easy ways, while still being active.

i prioritize health on sundays (a bit more)

while it’s important to always be healthy, sundays are the days where i like to cleanse my body a bit more. i will drink more water, continue with my vitamins, focus on high-quality nutrition, and take additional supplements like chlorophyll, spirulina, wheatgrass, etc.
