Why did you make this blog?

In our time on sysblr, two positivity blogs that we have followed met unfortunate ends... and others we have seen allow the spread of misinformation (nontraumatized systems) on their pages. We believe the system community deserves a trustworthy source of positivity!

What is your DNI?

I don't think I really appreciate you coming back now, ignoring us yet again in favour for trying to play friends with my partner. It feels very pointed, it feels very uncomfortable. I almost want to tell one of them to subtly say something, to point out the relationship. I know I should move on, and most of the time I have, but I honestly want you to hurt even more than I do right now knowing they're still talking to you after everything you did to me. At least you might figure out they're more important to me now than you ever were, and its your fault this happened. You never let me say goodbye, but if I did I think this is what it would be

OOH CANON SPECIES NICE i have so many fun facts to share that i have learned after 2 years straight of kinning this fucking bug

-our home planet was indeed called Dokar and other aliens called us Dokarians but we called ourselves Zorathians. its like the difference between Earthling and Human, basically.

-yes i was a Zorathian named Zorak. you ever met a person named Guy before? moving on

-we evolved from creatures very similar to Earth insects (especially mantids and grasshoppers) but over time as our brains enlarged we lost a few key features. our wings became vestigial imprints on our abdomens and we only had 4 limbs total–no extra arms hiding anywhere.

-Dokar was a hot and humid planet, and we were cold-blooded creatures. I always preferred a toasty climate, which I believe was an early point of comraderie between me and Moltar.

-Speaking of blood, while we were very much bugs externally, internally our vascular and respiratory systems were more... reptilian-ish? it was the only way we could survive at our size; there's a reason 6ft dragonflies aren't around anymore.

-We didn't exactly live in hives or anything, but we were a bit of a social species. We had cities and schools and local government. The way this interacted with our instinctual proclivity towards cannibalism was interesting. Since it was practically involuntary in certain situations, it was seen as legally distinct from murder and therefore not a crime. It was still considered very rude to do it outside of those scenarios, though, like smoking in a crowded bus shelter or pissing on somebody's doorstep. Sure, you were responding to a bodily need, but right now? And right here? It was just sort of a fact of life that if you were unlucky, at any moment you could be devoured by a stranger. Or, more likely, by your mom (we didn't have dads. I'll give you one guess why)

We get nervous a lot bc we seem to have a lack of source memories? At least the host can’t tell if we do or not. We can see their collective memory but they can’t do the reverse, I guess. It’s frustrating sometimes. I wish I knew how to help them :( -🛸
