I've been wanting to do tail armor for a while and took the plunge to get started last week. I've never made equipment before and every step of the process has been a challenge. I made it the second last step and will be coding the Adventurer Tail Gear tomorrow and hopefully get it to work in the next few days.

corpse eater - if a creature that you own perishes by combat, a card bearing this sigil in your hand is automatically played in its place.

brittle - after attacking, a card bearing this sigil perishes.

hidden trait - cursebearer

this card cannot be sacrificed at the sigil stones event.

finally posting my isatscryption stuff here!!! yipee!!! here’s a writeup about the card design because frankly i put wayy too much thought into all of these cards. sorry if these are a bit hard to parse!

unkillable and corpse eater effectively make sif immortal, since every time he dies, he’ll be placed back on the board! and i thought that was fitting for. y’know. timeloop reasons. brittle is only there to emphasize the whole constantly dying thing. because is it really isat without siffrin torment

also didn’t notice this until after i designed this card, but the brittle sigil art has a star on it??? not intentional in the slightest but it is Fitting

sif is a fox here! i know that that would technically put them in the canine tribe, but i felt it’d be more fitting for them to be tribeless? and base game inscryption already kinda bends the rules when it comes to tribes (such as the bullfrog being a reptile and the rabbit being treated internally as a rodent) so i think it still works

i’m well aware that card traits don’t actually have cool names or anything but i still want to give them cool names because it’s fun. anyways! cursebearer! i gave them this trait both because these sigils are extremely overpowered, and for lore reasons. sif sees their sigils as a curse! they don’t want to force them on anyone else!! it’s their burden to bear!!!

tangentially related to that last point, but sif is a talking card in this au! because it’s fun :3. and because i think it’d be really interesting to see how he’d react to the cabin

sif’s scar is covered by the hat a bit but it’s Star Shaped. and so is the eye shine teehee

this was the first card i made and Boy Does It Show. i had the WORST time trying to get the card generators to work for this because oops! both of the card generators are inaccurate in different ways! plus theres a few mistakes in the card art that i didn’t notice until after i finished most of the others... i promise the others are a little more polished

also, since i didn’t mention it above the cut, the sigil patch is for the bone king sigil! which makes the card award 4 bones instead of 1 upon death. this is less for lore reasons and more for the synergy with his sigils. since he’s constantly dying and coming back, he can basically give you infinite bones for Zero Cost. fun!

These tags were on my detailed explanation of just some of the different ways fat people are oppressed. This is by far not the first time I have had to hear someone advocate for killing all fat people—among other stuff like

Calling me an "ob*se pig"

Telling me to literally kill myself for being an "ob*se pig"

A day later being told that "ob*se" isn't a slur and how dare I "pretend" it is

Laughing at the thought of me dying in an ambulance and using that idea of me dying as thinspo

Using photos of my abused child body before I began recovering from anorexia as thinspo

A person telling me that they literally, word for word, support the idea of fat people being eradicated from this earth through genocide in a, and I quote, "second Holocaust"

Then other fatphobes telling me to "quit whining" when I talked about how someone had told me to die by genocide for daring to have a fat body in their presence

And all of that is just off the top of my head. It's fucking incredible that this sort of bigoted shit is a nearly every day experience for me, and yet numerous times I have been sent asks and messages by self-proclaimed "progressive" people who have pride flag backgrounds for their icons and a mile long DNI list naming any and every type of bigot imaginable except fatphobes, and these people will always message me the same thing:

"You want to be oppressed so bad, don't you?"

There's a lot of fucked up shit evidenced in that sentence that I could talk about, but I'm exhausted and am about to fall asleep.

If you're "progressive" and a fatphobe? Congrats. You've made yourself into a living oxymoron that allows countless people to die. How "progressive" of you. Now to block yet another bigot who believes my fat body cancels out my humanity.

it’s a little unrelated but how did u learn Japanese? I’ve really been wanting to learn it recently but Duolingo just keeps hitting me with sushi to mizu desu 😭😭 and how long did it take you? (your honestly so cool btw bro i wish i knew this much about Pjsk 😭😭🙏)

my knowledge of japanese is pretty basic and entirely self taught so i'm probably not the best person to ask. 2020/21 lockdown helped a lot bc i had nothing to do and both my interests at the time (love live and sonic) were japanese in origin. i learnt katakana from sonic and hiragana from love live i wish this was a joke. i kinda picked up some basic words and kanji from songs but when i started running this blog i found i had to do a lot of translation work and kinda just. learnt through doing that. i'm not really sure how i just started spotting patterns in phrases and working out the grammar rules and such and gradually relied less and less on using dictionaries and deepl for assistance. i use wiktionary or other dictionaries and online forums for words i don't understand still, those are very helpful. i pick up languages very easily though this isn't the first time i have done it based on a fandom i'm in so i don't know how well just learning by exposure will work for others.

he took me around a month to make?? i have some in progress pics somewhere buried in my phone since i made like, a year or two ago lol?? but here he is!!! my husband 💚

he's around 3-4 feet tall? i added some of my own details but i HEAVILY studied his ingame model to make him! entirely out of cardboard, foam, hot glue, autism, and paint! he's put together with elastic and glue so his arm and hand move and with his torso being foam i can maneuver him to lean and bend. originally his head could also come off because funny ha ha but i had to scrap the idea since his head just kept, falling off
