Dark Urge Scale Collection is now live !
This was a bit of a struggle, and I am not confident about this mod at all, but here it is ! 98 new options in CC. There are seven scale color to choose from and each has 14 texture variations !
Live on Nexus and on Mod.io
This is the result of hours of messing around with the parameters in the toolkit. I ended up creating what I think to be a few interesting textures for dragonborn !
I will also be making future mods with the textures people like the most !

I've had quite a few modding set backs lately so I decided to go back to an in progress "easy" mod. I am almost done making a color and texture dragonborn scales collection on the Dark Urge theme.
Now here is where I have doubts: this mod is big. As in there are 98 options total and that is if I stick to the main 7 colors I decided to put into this mod. To avoid making the math, yes each color has 14 texture variations.
Does anyone even want this ????
Below are some examples from the mod, a gilded variation of my velvet texture (darkest urge color), the metallic skeleton variation of Darkest urge and finally the Copper Plated version of the color Marrow and Sunset.

The mod has been updated with alternative files that remove the default black color for those who prefer lighter claw colors (and one skintone has been fixed across all files as well). It should also fix some NPCs having black horns with the original version. Swapping files at any time is also safe ! (that is why I love patches)
I'll be looking into making this work for Karlach and perhaps NPCs with unique skintones like Mizora and keep looking into how to make it work for other races (this will take longer as I'm looking into body texture editing and making patches for Unique Tav)

These are three of the presets included in Volume 2: blind glow, bhaal skull, and corrupted. All these presets come in glow versions (which I think are the best versions) and the bhaal skull is the one I'm the most proud of and I'm excited to share all these presets very soon !

I have finally finished the Fancy Eyes Volume 2 !
25 files total for quite a variety of presets, but mostly going in a darker direction. Some are a little more experimental. I will be making a video showcase like I did for the previous volume.

New CC Patch incoming
While playing around with parameters in game, I made metallic claws for tieflings. Quick testing has confirmed I can successfully patch the game's skin tones. Patching custom skin tone will also be possible.
I have no timeline on this as right now, I plan on finishing another mod first plus, I don't know how long patching will take me. The current plan is making two patches, one for just the tiefling skin tones and one for all the game's CC skin tones.

As any sane person would do, I decided to dive straight into dragonborn scale colors this weekend. While working on my own mod, I realized there were some scale colors unavailable to the player in character creation. After searching for a mod that made them available (because surely somebody had already done that right ?) and didn't find anything, I decided to make them available. Here we are now: 13 new presets for dragonborn.

Fair Eye Colors V2
I am finished with redoing the entire Fair Eye Color collection in the toolkit ! I should be able to publish version 2 by the weekend.
Version 2 will go up on Nexus and Mod.io ! I will have this to be evaluated for console as well, crossing fingers it will go through.
Version 2 doubles the amount of colors available and more than doubles options available. Red eye colors have also been added to this version. Each standard eye color is available in 6 variants: White sclera, dark sclera, white sclera glow, dark sclera glow, white sclera bloodshot and white sclera bloodshot glow (all variants are identified by the usual abbreviations introduced by Astralities with the addition of WSB for white Sclera Bloodshot). The original flame glow has been reworked to my satisfaction and now looks good on dragonborns. Extra parameters have also been added to every variant to ensure maximum compatibility with custom races that uses extra colors such as Trip's Whisper of the divine or Archer's Ghastly Ghouls shadow cursed heads.
There are an additional 10 other colors added to the collection, 8 of them full blind variants and 2 full black eye colors.
Psst: you may have heard/read that colors of color mods recreated in the toolkit are not exactly the same. Fear not, I have taken the time and necessary steps to make sure each original color is exactly the same as version 1 !

Horn project
Yes, I started another mod project. I am making horns this time. This is the ''Fancy'' version of this set. It still needs refits, variants and custom materials before this one is done.

Finally, actual progress on the update
It's been difficult to find motivation to work on the update, but I've found a workflow that work for now.
Marine is fully converted and has a custom skeleton for all races. I made some changes to the mesh itself, I couldn't resist making the eyelashes a little thicker, fitting the original idea when I created this head. I've reworked the human ears, so the attachment is better, and I've reworked the facial textures a little bit, making them more inline with my usual facial texture work

The clean version of the Head Experiment is done
The scar pack and the horror pack are next. As soon as the last two packs are done they will be published and I will go on a modding break for a few weeks. Firstly because I will be busier than usual and secondly, I've been working on mods pretty much every day for the past four months, after work and on my days off, usually spending around ten hours on my days off on my current projects.
