The burden of responsibility

I will freely admit, I have a bit of a soft spot for Lord of the Rings! It’s also fun to try and recreate a scene from a movie, however those that have tried will know it can be quite challenging. When I saw this image from @circus_robot, I just had to stop and look around this fantastic recreation of the iconic scene from Return of the King. From a MOC building perspective, this recreation of the Gondor Throne Room is just incredible. It is so faithful that it actually looks like the real movie set itself! I could talk for ages pointing all the little details and fantastic build techniques on show. Not only is the build great, but the lighting and composition is perfect too. As a vertical shot, you get to take in a lot of details, but it never distracts from main point of focus. Shot with a slight tilt to the left, the position of Aragon and the staircase gives a subtle, diagonal, leading line that draws you upwards to the throne. The subtle lighting coming from the left illuminates enough of the scene without ever overpowering it. The lighting also converges onto the throne as well. As our eyes are naturally drawn to the brightest sources of light, we are further encouraged to look up with Aragon at the throne. You can almost feel the weight of the responsibility on his shoulders (or those that have read the books will at least!).

What a joyous and also horrible day it is for House Blackstone. Princess Cassandra gave birth to Both House Aragon's and Blackstone's first grandchild, Princess Anastasia. However, she also passed shortly after, due to complications. The house is in a state of chaos and sorrow due to recent events. (On a more technical note, I downloaded Midge the Tree's Death by Childbirth mod however, I wasn't expecting it directly go after Princess Cassandra 😭😭😭)

The Six Wiki updated saying that Naomi is confirmed to be an Aragon second cover, do you know where that was heard?

Probably in one of the many lives that have happened recently. I've only seen the bits where alt colors were confirmed but those things are long, and Naomi seats beside Hannah on the dressing room. She probably said it in a live. The wiki is open to everyone to edit but the actual mod team is really good at catching this sort of things when they don't have a reliable source (so basically someone saying I have a DM trust me is not enough).

Aragon DAO Repurposed  Subsequently, in a statement on May 9, the association has repurposed the Aragon DAO to focus its funding on a new grants program targeting decentralized application (dApp) and DAO builders. The decision is part of the association’s “fiduciary duty” to protect its treasury from “raiders.”   Through this grants program, the Aragon DAO will seed various builders launching solutions targeting decentralized finance (DeFi), DAOs, and even plugins leveraging their technology stack. The decision will ensure that the Aragon DAO’s treasury is directed to what matters and cushioned against malicious actors.  In this case, the goal will be to funnel funds to dApp builders that help advance the DAO’s core mission of availing tools for users and projects to experiment with decentralized governance that they claim works at the “speed of software.” Unlike hierarchical governance systems in traditional projects, DAOs are smart contracts-driven. They ensure that token holders of the DAO take charge, driving the project in the direction most DAO members agree. For example, depending on the project’s immediate needs, the DAO can request that members vote on proposals to enhance the platform. Sometimes, DAO members can be asked to select quality projects deserving of funding.  Protection From Value Raiders Like Arca The Aragon Association repurposing of the DAO and ensuring that treasury funds are directed towards ecosystem expansion is amid a 51% “financial” attack on several DAOs, including Mango, Rook, Fei protocol, and more.  Rook DAO was the latest to be dissolved, and half its treasury dissolved, netting big profits for the Risk-Free Value (RFV) Raiders. RFV Raiders is described as “sophisticated, well-resourced, and coordinated.” In recent months, they have taken over and liquidated functional DAOs using Aragon’s infrastructure. Further analysis reveals that RFV, whose member includes Arca Capital Management, appears to be targeting Aragon DAO and its treasury, judging from the unusual spike in user activity on their Discord channel. 3. A few days ago, a bunch of people showed on Discord asking about the treasury, some of them with spammy behavior. After seeing the offensive language and that some of them were involved in a treasury's takeover in another DAO (RookDAO), the mod banned them quickly. — Luis Cuende (@licuende) May 10, 2023 Typically, RFV targets DAO treasuries to manipulate prices. Once they take charge of the DAO, they override any other priority, including organically growing the ecosystem by funding builders.
