How to Keep Track of When New Movies Come Out
In the past, the only way to learn about new movies was to see trailers on the TV or take a trip to your local video rental store. But things are much different today. The movie industry is vast, and countless streaming services release exclusive titles. So how do you keep track of it all?
Fortunately, you don't have to be a movie expert to keep tabs on the latest releases. Many sites and mobile apps use a messaging platform for media industry buffs, helping users stay in the loop of the many great titles worth watching. Here are a few resources to check out.
CineTrak
CineTrak is a user-friendly app available for iOS and Android smartphones. It's a slick mobile platform that lets you sift through a massive collection of movies. Check out reviews, star your favorite titles and create watchlists. You can even mark the movies you've seen to ensure you're always watching something new.
One of the best features of CineTrak is the recommendations system. The app uses your interactions to understand your preferences. Then, it recommends similar titles to help you broaden your movie-watching horizons. The app also uses an innovative messaging platform for media industry insights. It can remind you of new releases, send notifications of titles that might interest you and more.
Moviebase
Moviebases is a simple app available for Android devices. It's well-designed and user-friendly, incorporating beautiful graphics and easy navigation. Like other apps, you can search movies, mark the ones you've seen and leave a rating.
A discovery tab lets you see what's soon hitting theaters and streaming services. Use this feature to see what titles are most anticipated by users, and you can easily stay updated on what's coming next.
Action!
The Action! TV & Movies Tracker app for iOS is a movie-lovers dream. The app aims to help users keep track of what they've seen and what titles they want to check out. A robust search function lets you check out movies and TV shows in seconds. With a few taps, you can add it to a watchlist, leave a rating or share info with a friend.
Check out similar titles to the ones you love and get notifications on upcoming releases.

This is what I wrote in the feedback section for the new discord update:
I absolutely hate that the messages like group chats and DMs are in a different tab than servers now. there was absolutely nothing broken about the way that it was laid out and displayed before, so there's no reason to "fix" it!! I also am sorely missing the ability to swipe left to look at all members of a server, the having to click on the top feels clunky and visually unpleasant. I hate being taken to an entirely different screen just to see who's online! it's an entirely unnecessary extra step that helps no one. the idea of "prioritizing messaging" by putting private messages and group chats in a tab seperate from servers is completely asinine when discord as a whole is a messaging service in and of itself! also, it's a small aesthetic change but rounding the corners of the servers when swiping to look at the servers at the side is unnecessary and unwelcome and overall incredibly displeasing to look at. speaking of swiping, making it so swiping left creates a reply to a message is the most unnecessary, confusing, and almost MALICIOUS feeling change yet, especially when swiping left had an entirely different function before. please listen to your user base and stop making so many changes that absolutely NO ONE is actually asking for and actively make the user experience worse. you have a good app, it is not broken, stop trying to fix things that don't need to be changed because you've continually only made things worse.
#im having a very normal and neurotypical time#so do you think discord just hates autistic people or like. what. because what was the reason#discord you do not need your mobile app to look like a fucking social media platform YOU ARE A MESSAGING APP#WHY WOULD YOU PUT DMS IN A SEPERATE TAB TO FOCUS ON MESSAGING. ITS ALREADY A MESSAGING APP!!!!#what is actually wrong with them#i hope everyone involved in this UI change dies in 7 days#discord#discord app#discord update#discord server#discord changes

We know Ao3 doesn't have an app and yet they keep popping app. That makes me feel that people want it and get exploited by the fake ones.
There isn't a plan to make one but, have a PWA been considered?
Hey chaoticneutralchocolate -
The main reason that apps pop up for AO3 is not because fandom folks want it, so much as app-making-folks want to monetize fans accessing fanfiction. All those apps? they have ads. that make the developer money.
Currently, we do not have an API (application program interface), which is needed to allow an app to interact with our servers. Developing such an interface and then the apps themselves (for the various mobile platforms) would take significant time and coder effort. It’s unlikely to happen while the Archive code is still rapidly changing, as this would require the apps to be updated for each change. You can see more details at our news post on the subject: https://archiveofourown.org/admin_posts/3390 .
Even a browser-based app interface would be a tremendous amount of work that we do not have the staffing (or inclination) to establish or maintain.
In the meantime, you should be able to access the fully functional Archive using your device’s browser with our mobile stylesheet, and to download works to read offline with an e-reader app. You can also add a link to the site on your home screen ( https://www.howtogeek.com/196087/how-to-add-websites-to-the-home-screen-on-any-smartphone-or-tablet/ ) for quick access!
I should note that, due to fannish response, the app stores removed a number of unofficial apps in 2020. See the Fanlore page for more information: https://fanlore.org/wiki/AO3_App_Wars
(if you see an app out there claiming to be AO3 or using our logo, send a message to OTW Legal and let them know the name of the app so they can look into it!)
I hope this answers your question!

DARK SMS - DRAGON+
In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, maintaining privacy and security while communicating is more important than ever. Introducing DarkSMS, a cutting-edge virtual SMS platform designed to streamline your messaging experience without compromising your personal information. With our innovative virtual number service, users can receive SMS messages securely and anonymously, eliminating the risks associated with sharing private phone numbers. Whether you’re signing up for online services, verifying accounts, or simply looking to keep your communication confidential, DarkSMS has got you covered.
Virtual SMS
Virtual SMS refers to the messaging service that enables users to send and receive text messages through a virtual phone number rather than a traditional mobile line. This service is particularly useful for individuals and businesses looking to maintain privacy while communicating or verifying accounts.
One of the key advantages of using virtual sms is the ability to receive SMS without revealing your personal phone number. This is especially beneficial for online transactions, sign-ups for apps, or any situation where you might need to provide a phone number but want to protect your privacy.
Furthermore, virtual numbers can be easily managed from a web-based platform, allowing users to organize and store messages effectively. Many service providers offer features such as message forwarding, where received SMS messages can be redirected to your email or other platforms, ensuring you never miss an important notification.
In addition to privacy and convenience, virtual SMS services are often cost-effective. They eliminate the need for extra SIM cards or mobile contracts, allowing users to only pay for the services they actually use. This flexibility makes virtual number services highly attractive for startups and individuals working from remote locations.
As businesses increasingly adopt digital communication strategies, integrating virtual SMS into their operations can enhance customer interaction and improve engagement through instant messaging capabilities.
Virtual Number Service
A virtual number service offers a practical solution for individuals and businesses looking to maintain privacy while receiving communications. By using a virtual number, you can receive SMS messages without exposing your personal phone number. This feature is especially useful for those engaged in online transactions, such as e-commerce, as it safeguards against unwanted spam and protects your identity.
One of the key advantages of a virtual number service is its capability to function seamlessly alongside your primary phone line. Users can receive messages from various platforms effectively, whether it's for verification purposes, two-factor authentication, or simply keeping in touch with clients. The convenience of managing multiple numbers through a single device cannot be overstated.
With options to select numbers from different geographic locations, this service caters to users looking to establish a local presence in different markets. Moreover, these numbers can be set up quickly and easily, providing instant access to receive SMS without lengthy contracts or commitments.
To optimize your experience with virtual SMS and virtual number services, consider features like call forwarding, voicemail, and the ability to choose your own number. Such functionality enhances user experience by offering flexibility in communication while maintaining professional boundaries.
Ultimately, investing in a virtual number service can significantly enhance your business's communication strategy, allowing you to receive SMS reliably while focusing on building relationships with your clients.
Receive SMS
Receiving SMS through a virtual number is a convenient service that allows users to get text messages without needing a physical SIM card. This is particularly beneficial for individuals and businesses looking for privacy or those who wish to avoid exposing their personal phone numbers.
The process is straightforward: once you obtain a virtual number through a reliable virtual number service, you can start receiving sms messages. This service is essential for various reasons, including:
Account verification codes: Many online platforms use SMS to send verification codes. A virtual number allows you to receive these codes securely.
Business communications: Companies can use virtual SMS to receive client inquiries or feedback without revealing their primary contact numbers.
Privacy protection: By receiving SMS through a virtual number, users can protect their personal phone numbers from spam and unwanted solicitation.
Moreover, the get SMS feature of a virtual number service ensures that you don’t miss any important messages, even if you are on the move. Messages are often stored digitally, which means you can access them anytime and anywhere.
In summary, the ability to receive SMS through a virtual number enhances both privacy and accessibility, making it a valuable tool for users in various contexts.
Get SMS
Getting SMS messages through a virtual number service has become increasingly popular due to its convenience and versatility. Whether you need to receive texts for verification purposes or want to maintain privacy while communicating, virtual SMS provides a robust solution.
With a virtual number, you can easily get sms from anywhere in the world without needing a physical SIM card. This feature is particularly beneficial for businesses that require secure communication with clients or customers, as it ensures that sensitive information remains confidential.
Here are some advantages of using a virtual number to get SMS:
Privacy Protection: Using a virtual number helps keep your personal phone number private.
Accessibility: You can receive SMS messages on multiple devices, including tablets and laptops.
Cost-Effective: Virtual SMS services typically come with lower costs than traditional SMS plans.
Global Reach: You can get SMS messages from international numbers without incurring roaming fees.
Easy Setup: Setting up a virtual number to receive SMS is straightforward and often takes just a few minutes.
In summary, leveraging a virtual number service for SMS communication allows you to manage your messages efficiently while maintaining privacy, enhancing accessibility, and reducing costs. This is particularly useful for both personal and business communications, making it a smart choice for anyone looking to streamline their SMS functions.

🌟 New
We’ve just launched Blaze Pro, a self-serve and stand-alone advertising platform for Tumblr!
The unified Blaze dashboard from the web has now joined the apps! First, make sure your app is up to date, then visit your blog (tap the snowman icon at the bottom-right), and tap the flame icon near the top.
To avoid confusion with Communities, Community Labels are now Content Labels, and Community Guidelines are now User Guidelines.
Also, the Community category of the support form has been re-assigned to Communities. Please feel free to use that for any questions, concerns, comments, or bugs regarding Communities.
We’ve added Community Invitation push notifications to our mobile apps! When someone with push notifications enabled in the latest app is invited to a Community, they will now receive a push notification instead of a message from Tumblrbot.
We’ve added “This ad has autoplaying audio” to the available reasons when reporting an ad!
🛠 Fixed
An update for the Android app to stop ads with autoplaying audio is rolling out, so please update as soon as it’s available for you!
You can once again navigate between images in a photoset from the lightbox when viewing a blog page directly, such as staff.tumblr.com.
For a brief time yesterday, queued and scheduled posts were not posting. This has now been fixed, and everything that should have been posted was eventually posted. If not, please check your drafts!
🚧 Ongoing
No ongoing incidents to speak of right now.
🌱 Upcoming
No upcoming launches to announce today.

seeing the influx of gfm campaigns on your dash may be overwhelming- the purpose of this post is to help others navigate through the many gfm links that are circulating here on this site- esp. those that find their way directly to you via your inbox. this advice is specific to tumblr- i cannot speak on other platforms (instagram, twitter, etc.) though some things i say may be applicable
disclaimer: i do not vet/verify any campaigns myself. i simply want people who are willing to engage with these types of posts to do so in a safe manner
read more below:
---
what to do if you get a message from an account claiming to be 🇵🇸 in your inbox:
-> step 1: do not immediately dismiss it as spam
to quote one of nabulsi's posts:
"... you cannot generalise with Gazans if their tumblr blog is only a few days or a few hours old.
Gazans on tumblr are making accounts for the express purpose of spreading their fundraisers because it is spreading amongst Gazans that tumblr is a safe place to do so.
They could often be making multiple blogs and even remaking after staff flags them as spam. But don't blanket assume that Gazans are scammers if they're on a new tumblr blog with no pfp or content.
I agree that until a fundraiser is vetted you shouldn't reblog it in case it is someone dishonest taking advantage of the circumstances in Gaza. But you cannot do the opposite and immediately assume they're a scammer. I'm seeing people harass Gazans sometimes who genuinely are people who just don't know how to use tumblr and are falsely raising red flags because of it." (read full post here)
to sum it up: don't hit 'report' right away- marinate a lil and put on a detective hat
-> step 2: background check
the following are accounts that are known to vet/verify gfm campaigns here on tumblr. note- this is not a comprehensive list:
el-shab-hussein
nabulsi
90-ghost* (edit 8/4: recently announced that ahmed will no longer be vetting/verifying new campaigns)
ibtisams* (only has done it on situational basis; is not currently vetting new campaigns- read post here)
rubashabansblog (has been promoting other palestinians who lost their tumblr accounts; currently living under occupation)
heba-20 (unsure if heba takes request to vet others personally but is a reliable source for finding legitimate campaigns)
northgazaupdates
fairuzfan (says they are less active on tumblr these days/not currently vetting new campaigns but is a reliable source)
i recommend giving these individuals a follow if you haven't already as they provide far more information regarding all things 🇵🇸. they've all put in a lot of work to make the process i'm sharing with y'all as simple as possible. also please be respectful if you try reaching out to any of them. they are likely getting a high volume of asks and may not be able to respond to you quickly
important note: it has been recently announced that nabulsi + el-shab-hussein have stopped vetting new accounts for the time being and are only focusing on campaigns that have already been vetted. read their full statement here and here
to start- check out the person's account. this can be a hit or miss depending on how new the account is. however- you may notice that the person in question has stated that they have been vetted:
good signs so far- but better to be safe than sorry. next thing to do is search the username of the person who messaged you on tumblr. it's likely if you got a message like the one pictured above, others may have received one as well and did the digging for you:
if you can't find a clear answer with tumblr's illustrious search bar/want to confirm someone's claim that the campaign in question was already verified, the next thing to do is check one of the following:
el-shab-hussein's pinned post
el-shab-hussein/nabulsi's google sheet
imo, this process is far easier to do while on a laptop/desktop vs. mobile app. ctrl+f is your friend in this scenario as is the ability to click through multiple tabs. for el-shab-hussein's pinned post, i click through the multiple lists and see if any names match. in ruba's case, she was found under List of fundraisers for my direct contacts from Ghazzah & Sudan:
and for the google sheet- her campaign is no. 90 on the list:
tip: to narrow down your search even further- ctrl+f the title of the person's gfm campaign that they've linked on their tumblr account:
-> step 3: share your findings + follow that account
if everything checks out- ✨share le campaign✨ provide the link to it in your response to the ask + where it was verified. make it easier for the next person who gets a message to figure out that the gfm is real
following 🍉accounts is esp. important since the forces that be are keen on suppressing them at every turn. the more eyes on these accounts- the easier it'll be to determine the legitimacy of any new accounts they may need to make
---
okay, but... scams 😬:
-> step 1: seek a master
people can be assholes- and anyone trying to make a profit off of an ongoing genocide can eat glass
anyways- the following are accounts that are known to identify scam posts on tumblr (again, not a comprehensive list. these are just the one's ive seen/most familiar with):
mangocheesecakes
kyra45
kyra45's pinned post contains a plethora of resources to help determine if a post/message is a scam- and not just in regards to 🇵🇸- key goes in on many types of scams. please refer to their guides (and be sure that you are reading the most recent version of key's posts)
-> step 2: if you see sumn, say sumn
we're human and sometimes things slip our radar. so if you ever see someone on here sharing a known scam, do 'em a solid and let them know about it regardless if you are mutuals or not
---
final/misc. thoughts:
it's good practice to double check a campaign's verification with these tools for yourself regardless of how legitimate it looks. note that checking for a gfm's verification is not the same as verifying them. that work should be left to qualified individuals with experience in doing so. this is why it's bad to attempt things you are not qualified to tackle also- i think it's important to remember that transferring 💵 from a gfm campaign to those in need requires a lot of pieces to be perfectly set in place. if you see 🇵🇸 blogs linking alt. methods of raising funds (ex. p*ypal/k*fi) the reason could be that their gfms were frozen/suspended for a myriad of reasons. as always- check credible sources if you are unsure about a campaign you may come across notice how the spreadsheet provided here has over 100+ campaigns listed. generating a list that extensive requires hard work that is undoubtedly both physically and mentally straining to the individuals who are involved in making it. i've seen some accounts myself that have had to announce that they can no longer continue to vet campaigns because it has taken that much of a toll on their wellbeing. do not let their efforts go wasted
other resources:
some other places/grassroot organizations where you can find vetted campaigns:
operation olive branch (oob)
gazafunds
operation poppy flower (now also linked in oob's sheet)
operation watermelon
project watermelon
strawberry seeds collective
ottawa4palestine
camps breakerz crew
gofund(water)me(lons)
flowersfromfalasteen

I'm an A-Level student and so many of my classmates use ChatGPT for essays in Law and RS and stuff - like, they sound proud of themselves, as if they're cheating the system and being clever? Just makes me feel very bleak. What are we doing man
Well, the unfortunate news for them is that they are going to struggle if they make it to uni.
This is the big problem with AI - it cannot analyse a single thing. If I were to say to you "What are the features Tumblr users would most want and why?", you are a human being with a brain and experiences and decision-making skills, and you could probably sit and come up with an answer. You would base that answer on things you personally find lacking, or want to see; you would also base it in things you have seen others bemoaning on the site.
For example, I reckon I'd say something like:
The permanent ability to boop people with a cat paw, which is implemented as opt-in. Also customisable, so you can choose whether you want a random cat paw to appear on your screen each time it happens to you. Also a different animation for super boop/evil boop, and maybe more boop options than those two, and maybe also different paw colours.
Actual enforcement of hate speech rules. We all agree to them when we join, so it's perfectly legal to delete someone for spouting Nazi shit AND YET.
No more banning or censoring queer folks' accounts
More ability to adjust the interface for disabled bloggers, e.g. colour and contrast, font, layout, switching off moving GIFs or other animations by default, etc.
Tag editing, it's frustrating having to delete whole tags.
Tag memory! Where have my tags gone??? For a year now I have slightly better luck on desktop, but for the most part, which of my tags are remembered by autofill and which are never, ever offered to me has been wholly divorced from how often I've used them. And my tags are often lengthy and odd, so it's become much harder to use mobile.
No data scraping. This is the anti-cap site thank you. Also on that note, get rid of the For You section and any other algorithmic tracking, because it's just as likely to show you a Nazi blog as an anti-Nazi one as long as you have spent any time at all discussing Nazism.
Better blocking ability, on that note.
Better search function
I could go on, but you get the idea. That's analysis that I've done, based on discussions I have seen and taken part in, and my own experiences.
I just asked ChatGPT. Here's what it had to say:
"Tumblr users have diverse preferences, but there are several features that many users would likely appreciate: 1. Improved Content Discovery: Tumblr is known for its vast array of content, so improving content discovery mechanisms such as personalized recommendations, trending topics, and enhanced search functionality can help users find more of the content they enjoy. 2. Enhanced Customization Options: Tumblr users value the ability to customize their blogs extensively. Providing more themes, layout options, and customization tools can empower users to express themselves creatively and make their blogs unique. 3. Integration of Multimedia Formats: Tumblr is a platform where users share various types of multimedia content, including images, GIFs, videos, and audio. Enhancing support for different media formats, improving media upload and management features, and optimizing the viewing experience can enhance user engagement. 4. Improved Mobile Experience: Many Tumblr users access the platform via mobile devices. Therefore, optimizing the mobile app for better performance, usability, and feature parity with the desktop version can greatly enhance the user experience. 5. Community Engagement Features: Tumblr has a vibrant community, so features that facilitate interaction among users, such as improved messaging, reblogging, tagging, and commenting functionalities, can foster a sense of community and increase user engagement. 6. Content Moderation Tools: Given the diverse content on Tumblr, providing users with robust content moderation tools, including options for filtering, blocking, and reporting inappropriate content, can help ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for all users. 7. Monetization Options for Creators: Many Tumblr users are content creators who would appreciate opportunities to monetize their content. Introducing features such as ad revenue sharing, subscription-based content, or integrated e-commerce capabilities can incentivize creators to produce high-quality content and invest more in their Tumblr presence. 8. Accessibility Features: Improving accessibility features such as alt text support for images, screen reader compatibility, and customizable text sizes and color schemes can make Tumblr more inclusive and accessible to users with disabilities. 9. Privacy and Security Enhancements: Enhancing privacy controls, data protection measures, and account security features can help users feel more confident and secure when using the platform, which is especially important given concerns about online privacy and security. 10. API and Third-Party Integration: Opening up Tumblr's API and allowing for easier integration with third-party services and apps can encourage innovation and development within the Tumblr ecosystem, providing users with more options and flexibility in how they use the platform. Overall, focusing on improving content discovery, customization options, community engagement, and user safety while also providing opportunities for creators to monetize their content can help Tumblr retain and attract users in a competitive social media landscape."
It's possible that feels alright, on first glance. But take a closer look.
Every point made is vague, and disconnected from any real life examples. In the very first point, it thinks we want better search functions (yes!) but also more algorithmic recommendations (no!). It wants us to have personalised recommendations AND better security, in fact, which are incompatible - but an LLM doesn't and can't know that. Monetisation of the platform is something that has historically faced appalling backlash from users, and this thing is suggesting ad revenue sharing and subscription services.
Because, its suggestions are generic suggestions. These are not Tumblr-specific. No mention of queerphobia, no mention of Nazis, and absolutely zero understanding of what the specific users on this site actually want.
... all of which is to say...
It's what is academically known as descriptive work. It lays out some facts, but there's no depth, no analysis, no interpretation of those facts at all. Why would we want third party integration? What apps are we calling for? Give examples. Would that aid ad-blocking? Search functions? In that case, wouldn't third-party integration be tackling the symptoms and not the cause? Shouldn't we work better ad-blocking and search functions into Tumblr at a base level?
And in school - even up to A Level - that's okay. You won't get top marks for that, because it's all too vague and too descriptive, but it's fine. School-level assignments tend to be more broad and less applied, too, which LLMs fare better with.
But in university, you start with descriptive facts, and then you are expected to analyse. If you cannot analyse, you run a very real risk of failing. Which means if you've spent your GCSEs and A Levels not bothering to learn those analytical skills and letting ChatGPT do the work for you, you are going to face an extremely uphill struggle when the expectations of study increase.
So, to round off, try not to get too discouraged. You know you aren't doing it, which means you are the one actually learning and developing and growing. Others will learn eventually, and probably more painfully. You do you!

4 Benefits of Sending Out Email Newsletters
Email newsletters are a fantastic way to reach customers and keep them engaged. While some marketers think email campaigns are old news, that's not the case! Over half the world's population uses email, proving its long-term value as an easy way to build your brand image while establishing trust with your customers.
Whether you want to learn how to write an email newsletter for the first time or you're thinking about adding emails to your marketing strategy, here are some benefits that come with sending out email newsletters.
Powerful Lead Generation
From the early days of the Internet, email has been a tool for generating new leads. A simple form on your website allows interested visitors to opt in to receive newsletters. Pair that with your CRM tool and have a steady stream of incoming leads.
Newsletters can guide those prospects through the sales funnel, and your marketing team can develop targeted content to help them through the buyer's journey.
Build Long-Term Customer Connections
Success in modern business is not about quick sales. It's about long-term customers supporting your brand for years to come.

DOL x SCP AU
KyLar ver. 1.0.0 - SCP- 1471 (EUCLID)
'Never settle for those awkward feelings of being alone ever again! KyLar is an exciting and interactive experience that will keep you engaged and intrigued! The anxiety of social situations can be nerve-wracking but after a few hours of KyLar, you will soon forget about all those painful emotions of disappointment! Remember, the more you participate, the more KyLar will engage with you! Your experience is completely up to you!'
SCP-1471 or also known as 'KyLar' is a free to download application for mobile devices made available on several well known online applications platforms including but are not limited to: Google Play and the Apple App Store. SCP-1471 has no listed developer and has the anomalous ability to not only bypass all approval process to be listed on the online application platforms but also can not be removed by any program removal application.
Once SCP-1471 is installed in a phone, it will begin to send pictures to the user through text messaging between every 3-6 hours. All pictures will contain some detail of SCP-1471-A, either located in the foreground or background. On the first day, the pictures containing SCP-1471-A would be taken in places that are usually frequented by users in the past. However, after 48 hours, the pictures sent containing SCP-1471-A would be taken in places that were recently visited by the user. After 72 hours, the pictures sent containing SCP-1471-A would be taken of the user in real time, with shots of SCP-1471-A standing in the foreground, background or even behind the user at times. Users who have been exposed to SCP-1471 for more than 90 hours will begin to visualize or see SCP-1471-A in their peripheral vision and reflective surfaces.
SCP-1471-A has been described to be a short human male with pale skin, sunken eyes with dark eye bags and a mop of black messy unkempt hair. SCP-1471-A is always seen wearing very loose gray trousers and an oversized black hoodie. In some instances, SCP-1471-A would appear in some pictures holding a knife in one hand and some users have reported that the longer they take to respond to SCP-1471-A's pictures, he will look far more hostile and crazed in the next pictures. However, it is unclear if continued delay in response to these text messages would lead to a hostile encounter with the anomalous entity. So far, affected users, who have continued exposure to SCP-1471, had begun visualizing SCP-1471-A in real life, where SCP-1471-A would try to visually communicate with them in some way. However, all reported users have failed to understand or comprehend the meaning of these attempts.
The only way to reverse the anomalous effects that is occurring to the users will be to remove the users from the continuous exposure of the images completely before 90 hours have passed.

hello, my loves!
as i’m sure you all know, the elections just passed and needless to say, i’m honestly in a state of shock. some of you might not know this, but i actually am not american, but nonetheless donald trump winning is just horrid and plain disgusting. truly appalling for the state of the entire world.
not even as someone with a relatively large platform, but just as a black and queer woman, i’m so worried for the safety and livelihood of people like me— women, queer, and ethnic minorities. people who’s lives are in danger grossly.
in a time like this, where things like project 2025 are looming as well as multiple attacks on the rights of others, in both north america and places like sudan, congo, haiti, palestine, yemen, and more, i can only encourage you all to stay strong. to fight for each other. to engage in your communities in a time so perilous, as it’s needed now more than ever. volunteer locally, share mutual aid, mobilize, wear a mask (!!), protest, do all you can, because the next few years will be as hard as ever. increased surveillance, increased militia, and increased police presence— they’re doing it all.
my blog is first and foremost meant to be a safe space for all. i don’t tolerate bigots of any kind. homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, zionism, racism, all are hard drawn lines, and i beg of you now to unfollow me and quit engaging with my content otherwise.
below i’ve left some resources for anybody struggling in this moment mentally, and unsure what steps to take next. if any of you ever need to speak to someone, pr share mutual aid requests, please don’t hesitate to send me a private message or ask, i will happily answer you for anything.
as always, i love you all so dearly and deeply. stay strong. stay safe. stay brave.

do you have any suggestions for alternatives for discord?
fair question!
I've mentioned Telegram before and I'll mention it again. It's not structured the same way Discord is but it basically has everything Discord does. Except usually better, and usually free.
extremely privacy-forward (special encrypted chats, auto-delete messages and accounts, etc)
UI is extremely customizable (mine's a silverish pink with a tropical bg)
sticker packs are free to make, use, and share. they're also higher quality than discord emotes.
it's cross-platform (has both a desktop and mobile app)
group chats are easy to make
a little confusing to understand what everything is at first but ain't they all
however I know Telegram ain't for everyone. I get that. SO.
If you're looking for something kinda like Telegram, LINE is also apparently alright! I've never heard anything bad about it, at least. There's also Escargot.chat, a MSN revitalism project. I'm pretty sure it's super undeground or else I'd probably be using it too.
I actually had a discord friend last year straight up go "Hey, discord sucks and I'm bouncing. Can I have your email so we can stay in touch?" and honestly. mad respect! reclaim emails from spam y'know

Whenever a website changes to be more like a Mobile App or a messaging platform pushes a UI change nobody asked for or wanted because they wanted it to feel less like it used to (the desktop app, but on your phone) and more like a mobile app (less intuitive and less efficient), I just remember this original iPhone ad from when I was in high school and want to start breaking things
