The VECTRA Blood Panel
*Scroll to the bottom portion of this post to view my test results...
PSA: If you are struggling with a mystery illness and cannot find the "right" medical specialists, I do formally recommend making a request to your most trusted physician about a blood serum/plasma panel known as "VECTRA." Testing individual inflammatory markers like C-Reactive Protein (CRP) and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) will inform you about potential inflammation underway in your body, but VECTRA is far more comprehensive & can give you insight into your disease activity as compared to a large population of patients with diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis.
[Sort of Unnecessary Side Quest: HAVING A NEGATIVE ANA RESULT IS NOT A REASON FOR A PHYSICIAN'S DISMISSAL! Personally, I have consistently tested negative on ANA panels, and after 20 years of this horseshit, that god awful test is the sole reason for being dismissed by many, many specialists time and time and time and time and time again... A negative ANA alongside positive inflammatory markers (like CRP & ESR) is termed "seronegative." Seronegative autoimmune diseases, although far less common, are absolutely real and deserve the same attention from physicians as the more common, seropositive autoimmune diseases. VECTRA can help prove your pain is valid and needs treatment, especially in the face of a consistently negative ANA!]
VECTRA Panel Pros/Cons (& What It Can Do For You)
What it definitely means/can do to help expedite the diagnostic process:
Measures RA disease activity: VECTRA provides an objective score reflecting the level of inflammation and joint damage that is suspected to occur without appropriate and prompt treatment.
Monitors treatment response: Helps doctors determine whether a patient's RA treatment is working or if adjustments are needed.
Assesses risk of joint damage: Higher scores are associated with increased risk of progressive joint damage.
Incorporates multiple biomarkers: The test evaluates 12 proteins associated with inflammation and immune activation, offering a more comprehensive look at disease activity compared to single-marker tests (e.g., CRP alone).
What it could mean but is not definitive without further testing:
Could indicate active inflammation: A high VECTRA score suggests ongoing inflammation, but it does not pinpoint the exact cause. Additional testing is needed to determine if another condition (e.g., chronic infection, another autoimmune disease with similar features, certain types of cancer, etc.) is contributing.
Could correlate with other inflammatory conditions: While designed for RA, some biomarkers in the test can be elevated due to other inflammatory or autoimmune diseases.
Does not confirm or rule out RA: A high or low VECTRA score alone does not diagnose or exclude rheumatoid arthritis—other clinical criteria and tests (ANA, RF, Anti-CCP, Tissue Imaging, Gene Mutation Analysis, etc.) are required for a diagnosis.
What it does not mean/can't tell you/can't do for you:
Not Covered by All Insurances: VECTRA is a Labcorp-owned blood panel. Unfortunately, this privatization of services does mean that VECTRA may not be covered by certain health insurance plans. Be sure to check with your insurance company first before moving forward with testing.
Does not diagnose RA: VECTRA is a disease activity test, not a diagnostic test for rheumatoid arthritis specifically.
Does not differentiate between different autoimmune diseases: Elevated markers may suggest inflammation, but they do not confirm RA specifically. The test simply compares your disease activity with approximately 300,000 patients definitively diagnosed with RA and can help define the severity of the disease activity in your body.
Not useful for all RA patients: Some people, particularly those with low CRP levels or seronegative RA, may not get reliable results from this test.
Not a replacement for imaging or clinical assessment: While VECTRA provides valuable biomarker data, physical exams, imaging (X-rays, MRIs), and other lab tests remain essential for evaluating RA progression.
My VECTRA Blood Panel Results
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What My Results Definitely Mean For Me:
My Vectra DA Score is 45, which falls into the high disease activity category.
A high Vectra score indicates that I have some sort of disease underway that is highly active & that correlates with an increased risk of radiographic progression (observable joint damage/erosion). In other words, I am dealing with a chronic, observable disease which is causing severe & ongoing damage to my body - resulting in multi-system organ involvement and an array of primary diagnoses that may rather be secondary comorbidities of my unnamed systemic illness instead. AKA it means I'm sick AF you guys. Literally all the time. For 20 fucking years straight.
My 1-year risk of radiographic progression is 7%, suggesting a predictable joint damage progression within the coming year if left untreated or mismanaged.
My highest inflammatory marker percentile result listed was EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), which showed that, compared to the tested RA patients, I am in the >99th percentile for this inflammatory marker. This essentially means that, if continued to be left unmanaged, the progression of this disease could result in irreparable joint and tissue damage. [These higher percentile scores typically display which disease pathway that needs to be targeted in order to treat the condition.] (Example: Biologics that treat diseases like Crohn's often target Interleukin 6, an inflammatory cytokine that, for me, has always tested within the normal range. Long story short, this VECTRA panel helps pinpoint possibilities for treatment potentially [despite maybe never being able to give this a formal name], but due to the complexity of my case, we still have a long way to go and lots more tests to undergo before this gal could potentially see any sort of remission.)

Oh, so we probably won't get much content from khao other than THK fanmeetings this first half of the year?? Cause since first is starting to film MMP real soon, he probably has secured at least 3 months of work + the promotions when the series airs. And we won't have solo events for khao since he doesn't have anything to promote.
not necessarily, i don't think. we gotta remember that first's role in mmp is a secondary one. yes, he's the antagonist, but from what i understood from the pilot trailer, a great part of the story happens in the countryside with jimmysea's characters hiding together, so i don't think first has 3 months of work. he might come and go for a few qs similarly to how it was with pepper and kenji in thk (but he will most likely promote the show, we'll just have to wait and see how much. during thk for example, they didn't necessarily have that many more events).
and not having anything to promote doesn't necessarily mean not having events, either. events in the fkt fandom are already fewer if compared to some other couples, but in 2024, firstkhao didn't have anything to promote until later in the year, but they still had some events to attend. honestly, it's just a wait and see game. they have other things to focus on (like i mentioned, kt was planning on graduating if i'm not mistaken), so if it happens, we cheer.

Did you know there is a #playboymagazine in #madmonsterparty ? I didn’t until I was pulling stills of the sets. In Kronkite Pharmacy. Mr. Kronkite refers to a custom browsing through the paperback books and it cuts to this shot of a man at a magazine rack, and there, frame right are 3 tiny issues of the March 1964 Playboy magazine featuring covergirl Olga Schoberova. What? How? I know Harvey Kurtzman, who co-wrote the MMP script also had worked for Playboy and created Little Annie Fanny. It’s interesting to me how the few magazines chosen are from such different dates. If you swipe you will see I’ve identified others magazine issues that appear but none are as exciting as the Playboy. The others are (oddly no mad magazine) #TimeMagazine Jan 1966 Indira Gandhi , #saturdayeveningpost April 1965, Movie Life #barbaraparkins December 1955 #photoplay #jackiekennedy Oct 1965, #seventeenmagazine June 1958 #lifemagazine Oct 1965.

Title: Cuteness Member - Xtianz
Here's another HTF OC to be joined, Xtianz and his suited Zeon Armor the armored "Zaku II Kai"! 🙂
Zaku II Kai Xtianz Came from the real: MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai
Armament(s):
• 3-slot Grenade Rack Stored on the right hip of the Zaku for convenient access are three hand grenades. The Zaku Kai's grenades were more compact than the "cracker" grenades used by the original Zaku. While not very powerful or accurate, they're capable of performing different roles in the battle.
• Shoulder Shield The shield is a simple defense used to block most incoming ballistic and explosive projectiles. Also used to great effect in close quarters battle with enemy mobile suits. The Zaku II Kai mounts a shield on its right shoulder.
• MMP-80 90mm Machine Gun The upgraded version of the MMP-78 120mm Machine Gun. It used 90mm bullets instead of 120mm type, allowing for a greater speed of firing and a higher rate of penetration. The machine gun is magazine-fed with 32 rounds per mag. The MMP-80 was also integrated with a grenade launcher under its barrel for more firepower.
• Grenade Launcher The MMP-80 is fitted with an underslung grenade launcher. The grenade wasn't very effective against large ships, but was an ideal mid-range anti-mobile suit weapon.
• 120mm Machine Gun The 120mm machine gun is a standard weapon for Zaku type mobile suits. It is a shell firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however its effectiveness against heavy armor is very limited. It holds 100 rounds per drum with spare drums that can be stored on waist armor racks.
• Heat Hawk An axe-shaped close combat weapon, it uses a super-heated blade to cut through the armor of enemies and/or vehicles. The thermal energy is generated by the power output of the Zaku II's thermonuclear reactor and relayed through the armored hands. The Heat Hawk used by Zaku II Kai is modified with an extendable handle for longer reach in close quarter combat.
• Heat Sword A melee weapon originally developed for the Gouf line of mobile suits. Like the Zaku's heat tomahawk the heat sword is a blade that is heated to high temperatures in order to increase it's cutting capacity. The Heat Sword was designed after a broadsword so its blade is longer than the tomahawk allowing for a greater range of attack.
• H&L-SB25K/280mmA-P Zaku Bazooka The 280mm Zaku Bazooka was another standard weapon that could be equipped to a Zaku type mobile suit. The bazooka fired explosive rounds that were quite effective against the armor of Earth Federation mobile suits and battleships.
• Sturm Faust An explosive weapon with a rocket propelled warhead, it was designed before the beginning of the One Year War as an anti-ship weapon. Useful both in space and under gravity, it was mainly deployed for anti-ship attacks. The Sturm Faust likely made a good anti-armor suit weapon, could be equipped with both a Sturm Faust and a more typical ranged weapon for greater versatility. As a non-guided weapon, it is difficult to hit targets with high mobility.
• Shield The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit. Since the introduction of beam weaponry, shields have been treated with an anti-beam coating allowing it to withstand several beam shots before the coating wears off. Typically physical shields can only take so much damage before they succumb to the pressure and break.
Special Equipment(s) / Feature(s):
• Zaku II Kai's Mask An exact replica of the original Zaku II Kai head and a special optional accessory that can be worn on his/her face. With built in signature mono-eye w/ all feature needs, like night vision, smart target detector, a snorkel prevents all sorts of harmful smoke/gas and good used for underwater diving surface, etc...

Why IP-Rated Gear is Essential for Outdoor Events
Outdoor events come with a long list of variables — weather being the biggest wildcard. Rain, dust, extreme heat, or unexpected downpours can turn a smooth production into a logistical nightmare if you’re not prepared. That’s where IP-rated gear comes in.
At Music Matters Productions (MMP), we believe that no element should stand in the way of delivering an event. Our IP-rated lighting, audio, and video equipment ensures that productions run seamlessly, no matter what the forecast throws our way.
What is IP-Rated Equipment?
IP (Ingress Protection) ratings classify how well equipment is protected against solids (like dust) and liquids (like rain). The higher the rating, the better the protection — which means less downtime, fewer failures, and more confidence in outdoor environments.
Why IP-Rated Gear Matters for Outdoor Productions
1. Weather-Proof Performance
Rain or shine, the show must go on. IP-rated fixtures and audio gear ensure consistent performance, eliminating the risk of malfunctions due to moisture or extreme conditions. No more scrambling for last-minute cover or worrying about costly damage.
2. Less Equipment Downtime
Unprotected gear means more time troubleshooting and replacing damaged components. IP-rated gear reduces maintenance needs and failure rates, keeping production running smoothly from load-in to load-out.
3. Safer, More Reliable Events
Wet cables, exposed electronics, and unpredictable weather don’t mix. IP-rated gear minimizes safety risks by preventing electrical hazards and ensuring all equipment stays operational — even in tough conditions.

PROJETO DE PESQUISA PARA O SUS
Desenvolvimento de um Sistema Integrado de Diagnóstico Precoce do Câncer Baseado em Compostos Orgânicos Voláteis (VOCs) e Aprendizado de Máquina
Área Temática: Ciências da Saúde / Tecnologia Biomédica / Inteligência Artificial
Duração: 36 meses
Novas abordagens:
VOCs exalados refletem alterações metabólicas do câncer (Zhang et al., 2024).
