About the randomized swap au; Are the roles of the mangled drones the same as the murder drones from the og? Like do they still hunt and murder worker drones or is it different?

Kelsey: My colony wasn't aware of their presence. We were far away and there were only rumors. Mangled drones was our nickname for them because it's not like we could ask them for names

(So yes, they are the same. They just get a different nickname because of a lack of knowledge. Disassembly drones would have been nicknamed murder drones like in canon if they caused more damage)

Hey! Just wanted to ask if all the Fighters know now to make the bomb or is that just an Isabeau thing? OG! Isabeau mentioned he learned it in defender training, so I'm not so sure how everyone else except maybe Odile would know how to make one. Tho the mental image of Fighter!Siffrin wishcrafting a bomb like "I wish this explodes when it hits the King" is a hilarious thought.

A good question! I haven't decided if I always want Isabeau to be the one with Bomb Knowledge, but y'gotta admit! it'd be very funny for Cook!Isabeau to casually explain how a Craft bomb works. And it'd still make sense for Housemaiden!Isabeau to learn how to make a Craft Bomb, because *hand gestures* if Claude was his roommate during his stay at Dormont's House I reckon they'd get along like a house on fire and she WOULD show him how to make any 3 items blow up a door for fun However! Cook!Isa having limited knowledge on Craft Bombs and needing Fighter!Sif to use wishcraft to make the thing explode would be VERY funny.

The land-maid giant had been sitting there for a while, staring into the little oasis of ocean she’d placed them in. They felt…very exposed, with nowhere to hide but a few sparse patches of grass. They kept telling themself that it didn’t matter how much light there was or how open the waters were, no hunters could reach them here. There was a long stretch of land between themself and the sea.

The thought was as terrifying it was reassuring.

She lit up as they worked up the courage to peek back out at her from the grass. Her words were muffled, but not so much that they couldn’t understand her. She was bubbling over with questions—what they were, who they were, if they were alright, did they need anything else, were they hungry, what did they even eat, where did they come from, how did they get here…?

They waved and smiled, but kept silent. Bad things happened when sirens spoke. Their voice was dangerous, the magic hard to control, and the land-folk were particularly susceptible to its curses.

This one had saved them from a horrible death drying out in the sun. What sort of thank you would it be to answer her?

I realised I had to refine Ceroba for my au…

In the cowboy swap au, Ceroba is actually the Sheriff and leader of the Feisty Five. Clover is still the Deputy and goes by “Lucky Star”. He loves hanging around town with his Mama ☺️. I haven’t come up with a cool cowboy name for Ceroba yet, although she probably wouldn’t use one :/
