words: 495 notes: i write a lot of sleepy fics but it is simply because sleepy time is big regression time for me... and sleepy time is such an intimate time its so nice to think about being taken care of and tucked in

twilight had been busy all day with princess duties. you had been dutifully working on your star charts and studying hard for your classes. your sticker sheet would definitely be full. and when you heard the palace doors open you eagerly galloped down to greet twilight.

she yawned as she stepped in, kicking the door shut behind her. a pile of paperwork and books hovered beside her. her eyes lit up when she saw you and a soft smile crossed her face. “ i have had such a hard day of princess-ing i just want to curl up with a book and my kiddo. i’ll have to work some once you fall asleep but i’m sure i can take an itsy-bitsy break.  “ you giggled and ran circles around her as she skillfully walked to her office, managing to not bump into you at all.

she set her paperwork and books on her desk before returning her attention to you. “ why don’t you go pick out a book to read and come find me when you’re ready. “ she nudged her head against yours and you let out a sweet little coo. “ okie-dokie, mom. “ and so you rushed off to the library to find something to read. a lot of fillies and fouls adored the storybook section twilight had added to the library. but you preferred the big kid books. you carefully looked through the options before finally deciding upon a book about the geography of ponyville. 

you rushed back to twilight’s office where she had started on some of her work. she raised her head as you entered and set down what she was working on. “ be careful running in the halls. i don’t want you to slip and get hurt. what book did you pick out? “ she walked with you from the hall to the reading room, a big circular room filled with cushions and blankets for falling asleep with a book. it was one of the few rooms twilight actually slept in. the other being your room. 

you showed off your choice of book to the princess and she nodded approvingly. “ good choice. the geography of ponyville is a very interesting topic. a lot of ponies spread a myth that celestia and luna carefully crafted the geography themselves after taking over canterlot, but that is untrue. “ you let the facts fill your mind as twilight laid down and you curled up against her side, a pillow placed perfectly under your chin. and so she began to read, her voice carrying through the room wonderfully. it encircled you and you let your eyes drift closed as you absorbed the information. occasionally she would stop and check if you were still awake, and you were. but as she finished the first chapter, you were already far too sleepy to stay awake much longer. she stayed till she was sure you were asleep and then tucked you in and put the book away and returned to her work.

Anyways, now that we have the rules out of the way, I'll explain a brief summary of what age regression is for people who don't know what it is. (PS I've never regressed before and I'm a caregiver so I may not get it completely right, I known what regression is for about a few years but still I'm not experienced in age regressing because I don't regress)

What is Agere (Age regression)?:

Age regression or Agere for short is a coping mechanism that involves mentally reverting back to a childish state for a brief period of time, usually to cope with trauma, stress or they just regress for fun sometimes Littles regress voluntarily meaning they regress willing sometimes Littles regress involuntarily meaning they do it unwilling and it's usually out of their control and involuntary regression usually happens when they're triggered by something that causes them to go little, to keep it short they can involuntarily when overwhelmed by positive or negative emotions but it's not always the case but sometimes it involves emotions, also remember that age regressors aren't always regressed 24/7 they still have lives, school, college and jobs when big, also age regression isn't sexual and it has nothing to do with ageplay, anyways that's just a brief summary of what age regression is.

What to expect:

In this blog, I will make Y/N comfort stories with a caregiver with the personality of your choice. I don't write fics for existing fictional characters out of fear of making them out of character but I will make paci edits for fictional characters and I won't do fics edits or anything with irl people because it makes me uncomfortable and it probably makes others uncomfortable so yeah, I'll make random posts about random things too. I'll also comfort people when they need it.

Kin comes from "otherkin", which I first heard among New Agers. Basically, it's people who feel they have a connection to versions of themselves in parallel universes, which can include universes where fictional worlds are real. So basically, some believe there is a parallel universe where the MLP universe is real, one where APH is real, etc. So say a guy named Kyle in this universe feels a close connection to APH Denmark, to the point that they feel like the same person. Kyle may believe he and APH Denmark *are* the same person, as in two versions of the same soul but in different parallel universes. Therefore Kyle says he's otherkin (or kin) of APH Denmark.

There may be variations of this belief, but this was usually how I saw it described, at least when it comes to spiritual experiences of kindling.

Another form of kinning is similar to having a comfort character. Say there's someone named Kai, and they are in a really bad place and latch onto the character APH Russia for comfort. Kinning for Kai is a way of coping, using the connection they feel to this character as a way to cope with their situation.

As kinning became more known, some people used the term casually as to say "this is my blorbo, we're practically the same person." And regardless of what meaning the person held for what kinning a character meant to them, some people on tumblr got... possessive. "No doubles" was a common DNI on people's blogs, so someone who kinned APH Romano didn't want anyone else who kinned that character following to interacting with them. Sometimes people kinning a character would even send hate to fic writers for getting the character wrong, because the author's headcanons contradict the other person's kin memories. I've had mutuals get bullied out of discord servers because of this specific type of harassment. Shit got wild.

she’d been teaching you how to skate. i picture she scoops you up, panicked and worried by the sight of the ouchie. she sits down and cradles you in her lap. she probably pulls out a crinkled bandaid from her pocket and gentle covers the ouchie. “we’ll get you better patched up when we get home, kid.” she carries you the whole way home and gently takes care of you and your ouchie. she tells you how good you did and how proud she is of you. “do you wanna skate again tomorrow?” and she cuddles you and praises you still regardless of if you wanna skate or not. she’s just happy you’re okay.

2. With Christmas just around the corner, everyone on the street was getting ready. Decorating houses, getting a Christmas tree (or three), and having fun! It was a time of cheer afterall! And, for some people, a timento come clean. Funny enough, Katelyn and Zane shared the same idea, but very different executions.

Part 1 of a famous MLP cursed things:

There is this MLP fic that MLP guy found not worth enough so is to me, Soupy, that fall the duty to tell you.

Is called Pattycakes.

And if you are squicked by agere, you better stop reading now.

Fluttershy invite Rainbowdash to drink tea. Rainbowdash feel strange. It come out the drink was spiked and when she wake up, she is in a room for babies, but with adult measure. Fluttershy explain to her how she want to be a mother, but have not found the right pony, and adoption is so complicated, and actually she have a friend would be perfect for the job! So she decided to kidnap her to make her the baby. She also tell that all their friends and village have already partecipated in some ageplay with her, even the whole wonderbolt squad. The only difference is that the others she asked and was only for a day, but she was really too excited to take Rainbow as her baby. She still tell that if Rainbow does not like it by the end of the day, she can go free. She put her in a diaper, and when she put it out cause hell no she discover the drugs also inibitate her system, so she can no more control her urination and defecation and is forced to still have the nappy on. She is also forced to play and drink milk. She search to escape but is also always tired, cause the drug is too strong, so cannot go out. She is slowly mindbroken,and It finish with her surrendering at being Fluttershy baby.

This first chapter is terrific if you do not like the thing, but is still pretty basic, but the second chapter, oh boy i love the cursed of that.

Mmmmmmmm very long and very cursed it never let up for a single second!!!! Constant punches to the face!!!! 7.5/10
