However, it's fun to have different interpretations of things even if they're 'wrong,' also can i just say that the gay interpretation is quite masterful and cohesive. and even going with how i think he meant all of it, "makes him buy things for the girls" i still think he threw in to make it vaguely about romantic relationships when it really wasn't

I don't tend to agree with a lot of the stuff that is said on here about gender relations and all of the stuff related to it, but I will agree with Tumblr on how ridiculous it is that certain stuff has been unnecessarily gendered and/or is expected of each gender. You are "feminine" man if you drink or eat a certain product (men weren't concerned with stuff like this historically), apparently, or you are a "tomboy" just because you don't wear makeup (most women have historically worn little to no makeup). It's ridiculous.

Deadpool and Spider-Man enter a Spider-Man lookalike contest and Deadpool wins

He cheated but like Peter doesn’t know that

Bonus points if Deadpool doesn’t realize the real Spider-Man is in the contest and he’s flirting w this super realistic spider man cosplayer named Peter Parker when really it’s the actual spider man

Peter is getting some sort of higher education past college like whatever type of degree you’d get in biochemistry or smth and he also is a photographer of spider-man

Peter does it because MJ dares him too and it’s spring break so he’s not too busy with school and there’s some sort of cash prize which is always nice, probably not a lot but enough to cover the cost of a better camera than the one provided by his work for the triple J (it’s a nice camera but it’s old and it would be nice to have a camera of his own for once because he basically when straight from using the ones provided by his highschool to the ones provided by his college to the ones provided by Jameson)

Deadpool does it because he’s obsessed with spider-man and is pretty sure he will win because he has all the mannerisms down. Unfortunately he’s getting so suspicious of Peter because he also has so many of the mannerisms correct. He even kinda sounds like him

In the midst of all the flirting from Deadpool is really starting to question how Peter is so good at this spider-man look alike/act alike competition. Peter wasn’t gonna tell him he is spider-man. At least not yet. But to be fair he probably was gonna tell him eventually. He didn’t even wanna tell Deadpool that Peter Parker is the photographer of spider-man for JJJ because obviously Deadpool hates JJJ with a burning passion for the bs he writes about Spider-man.

Taylor Swift constantly being compared to MJ by not only her fans but big media outlets is white supremacy and feels icky. It's not just they compare her to him, they compare everyone to him every 3 Business days. It's the mere FACT they hype up a mediocre white woman's achievements and dismiss the one from a BLACK man. A man who had to fight racial discrimination, who had to bust his ass off for his videos to be shown on mtv. Who thanks to him, black artists where able to crossover in the mainstream market.

It's how she has not even addressed it once, that really puts me off of her. It's how they keep lying how she broke some of his records without added context. At this point, I've come to the conclusion that her team pushes these articles.

This shit doesn't piss me off that much if they do that with the Beatles. Yes, the Beatles have more impact and influence than Taylor Swift. But atleast they're white. Atleast they didn't have to overcome racial discrimination and work 100 times harder white people get for just being alright.

Not to sound insane- but I 100% believe that Swift is the one, or her team, that is putting out the articles comparing her to MJ or The Beatles- or Madonna

I don't under any circumstance believe that Swift has no control over what the media prints about her- it is obvious with the way the whole media immediately pivoted to reporting on Travis Kelce like it was their mission in life to inform the public that this mediocre white man is a footballer.

The whole narrative of "Taylor Swift is bullied by the media is BS" and has been for at least a decade- so, on the flip side, it is most likely the Swift feeds the editors of whatever magazine story topics she would like to see about herself. And I think she wants to be "one of the greats" so badly that she is willing to buy and bully her way there.

I do agree with you, though, about the intersectional aspect of this faux pas- it does feel rather strange that the whitest woman on Earth is trying so hard to be thought of as better than a black man.

There is a lot of lore about Swift that ranges from vaguely- to outright- racist, that I cannot help but to think she is doing it on purpose.
