Mirrormancharic: A gender that is related or connected to the character Mirror Man from the short film “Opal” by Jack Stauber. One might relate to how he gives off both a comforting and unsettling vibe.

I’m so excited for more Baron so here are some ‘redeemed Baron’ headcannons because redeemed Baron is so intriguing to me:
-lives at Mordred and ‘goes’ to Augefort (they’re not a student at Augefort. No one is able to stop them from going to Augefort).
-autistic. He doesn’t realize that staring at people while they sleep so you can ask them a question when they wake up is ‘weird’ and ‘scary’ (same man /gen)
-loves the television. So obsessed with crystal tech and stuff. They like watching the pictures move
-xenogender user. Doesn’t know what gender is anyways so who cares
-still just as obsessed with Riz Gukgak as before. Still shows up in his mirror or briefcase randomly. Still scary is fuck. But now he doesn’t mean it (maybe).
-loves being part of meals at Mordred Manor but because they can’t actually eat, someone else has to eat the food on their plate after he’s ‘done’. It’s way easier when Riz is there to just scarf it down for him. They do eat dessert, though (shoves it into their face).
-in Kristen’s lgbt club at school. Not officially (because they don’t go there) but who’s stopping them.
-they got him a cat. They love this cat.
-Mod Riz

min- | fin- | nbin- lin- | glin- | agin- nin- | mvin- | xin-
min- / minsexual / minromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves masculine.
fin- / finsexual / finromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves feminine.
nbin- / enbin- / nonbin- / nbinsexual / enbinsexual / nonbinsexual / nbinromantic / enbinromantic / nonbinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves nbine/enbine/nonbine/nonbinarine (nonbinary gender quality).
lin- / linsexual / linromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves androgynous.
glin- / glinsexual / glinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves genderless.
agin- / aginsexual / aginromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves agenrine (agender gender quality).
nin- / ninsexual / ninromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves neutral. (the original definition also includes nonbinary and null, though people mainly just use nin- to mean neutral now.)
mvin- / mvinsexual / mvinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves maverine (maverique gender quality).
xin- / xinsexual / xinromantic / etc. : attraction to people who consider themselves xenine (xenogender gender quality).
-★-
The terms are prefixes basically, so they can be attached to any attraction ending (such as -rose/-romanticsexual, -tertiary, -platonic, -alterous, -sensual, -aesthetic, -physical, -emotional, and more). I only listed the -sexual and -romantic variations to keep it readable.
Tumblr media
For the definition of these terms, I reworded them a bit from common wiki definitions, but it follows the general idea I've seen in other posts discussing these terms.
Basically, when it comes to gender qualities, what counts as what can vary greatly between people. What one person considers masculine, feminine, androgynous, etc. can be really different from what another person considers it to be. Especially when you factor in things like different cultures, people with complex identities, or really queer people in general (as they can challenge such definitions).
Who's to determine what counts as what? Or say one definition matters more than another? I think it should be determined by the person in question. I can imagine a few issues otherwise. Wouldn't it be weird to put other people in boxes they don't identify with?
Also, these orientations aren't just being attracted to men, women, enben, etc., they're attractions to gender qualities (in either presentation or gender identity). So, for some examples, someone could consider themselves masculine while not being a man, and so be included under min-. It's the same for the others, someone could consider themselves maverine without being maverique. Or present femininely while being nonbinary. The combinations/examples are practically endless.
So the point of these labels is to be broad, and include those who want to be included, and exclude those who wouldn't want to consider themselves under that label.
Tumblr media
Now that that wall of text is out of the way haha,
-in orientation flags :D [part 1 of 2] second post
It started with me wanting to make a couple of flags that I felt should exist, finding the 7 stripe -in orientation flag format and really liking it, wanting colourful matching versions, and so, an entire set (along with really thinking about the definitions). (like usual hah) There's so many flags I split it into 2 posts, and the second one will have 9 flags too.
Tumblr media
For the flags, I based them off of the 7 stripe -in orientation format, where it gradients to darker stripes on the outside, with a dark stripe in the center (minsexual, finsexual, ninsexual examples). I chose them because I thought the format looked really nice, and also because I don't know how to make symbols for these flags (if anyone wants to make symbol versions, feel free to do so). Unlike the original format though, the stripes on both sides don't mirror each other. I did this just because I wanted (more) colourful versions.
As for the colours, they're inspired (not exactly colour picked) by the corresponding gender quality flags. So masculine for min-, feminine for fin-, nonbine for nonbin-, androgynous for lin-, genderless for glin-, agenrine for agin-, neutral for nin-, maverine for mvin-, and xenine for xin-.

Note
I feel that my view of my gender has surpassed mere notions of masculinity, femininity, or neutrality. It is truly me and myself, with my ambitions, desires, and personality baked into it. Despite this, I don't really feel like calling it a xenogender. I feel that it is something else entirely. It is simply the view of myself… or something like that. Perhaps an "ego-gender" which I guess technically counts as a xenogender but whatever.
The neoliberal status quo is skilled in commodifying and integrating anything into itself, so long as it's visible, quantifiable, et cetera. I'm not just a half-man half-woman androgyne, I'm a Deleuzoguattarian, super-insurrectionist, ass-blasting, fem-of-center scrunkly whose ambitions and actions consist of everything and nothing all at once. My heart's big, big like the women I'm into, and for every elegant minute spent in front of the mirror brushing my hair and painting my nails, I spend another minute smashing skulls and shins with my favorite baseball bat, eschewing all finesse in favor of hardcore blunt force.
Point being…
Even if you're like me and you don't feel that your gender falls under the umbrella of "xenogender," I encourage y'all to think the way that I do. Incorporate more of your thoughts, beliefs, life experiences, et cetera, into your gender. Make yourself not necessarily invisible, but rather incomprehensible.
Mr. Relatable CEO can't have the same gender as you when you think like me. Mr. Relatable CEO can't sell your own gender to you when you're the only one who really knows and understands it. Regardless of personal politics, I think we can all agree that Pink Neoliberal Capitalism is inherently disingenuous at its core, which is why I am sharing this little story. I want to provide people with a way to at least resist their commodification a little bit.
Plus I just like sharing my thoughts, as you can see from the massive wall of text I just typed. Adieu~!

Thanks for sharing!

Can you help with something?
I feel MALE, but I don't rightly know what male IS.
What it's SUPPOSED to feel like.
It just feels like...faux male? Knock-off male? Male substitute? Idk...
Basically, my identity is that I feel male, but not a NATURAL kind of male. Like, a fake or artificial male.
It may be autism screwing with my perceptions again, it may be dysphoria, I don't rightly know...
Is there any labels I could be that is like this?
(Also, I don't want to define myself with the Autiboy label. It just makes me uncomfy. If that's all there is that sounds similar tho, still tell me.)
Thank you lots! /pos
Hi! They are some terms that sounds similar to your experience. Here they are:
Offboy: a gender that closely represents/is most closely represented by being z boy, but is not a boy. Can be likened to what the color off-white is to white for descriptive purposes.
Autimain: a neurogender exclusive to autistic people. It can be described as a male gender through a genderless lense. Someone who is autimain may feel male while also having a disconnect from gender all together due to neurodivergence.
Neuroenboy: Feeling male but also non-binary due to neurodivergency (The person’s neurodivergence causes a disconnection from gender). Basically, being a enboy due to neurodivergence
Dullboy: a gender in which feels masculine aligned, but very muted.
Neurodullboy: Feeling a connection to masculinity but it feels dull and muted due to neurodivergency (The person’s neurodivergence causes a disconnection from gender). Basically, being a dullboy due to neurodivergence.
Indistiboy: a gender that is blurry, hard to make out, and indistinct that is close to or may fully be a boy.
Neuroindistiboy: Feeling a connection to masculinity but it feels blurry, hard to make out and indistinct due to neurodivergency (The person’s neurodivergence causes a disconnection from gender). Basically, being a indistiboy due to neurodivergence.
Altegender: a xenogender in which one's gender feels as though it is in a parallel dimension, on a different plane, in a mirror universe, or just in an alternate existence. One may have an understanding of their gender, but it feels distant. It can be combined with other genders to form more specific genders, such as altegirl, alteboy, or altenonbinary.
Proxvir: a gender strongly connected to masculinity, in a way that is different from how men may be connected to masculinity. Proxvir is an identity that is seperate from other genders, and may be described as a masculine-aligned gender or a mingender, that is not man-aligned or miaspec, and has no connection to manhood.
Paraboy: a gender identity that is close to being a boy, but not exactly, a boy. For instance, someone who is a paraboy may feel that their gender is near to, but not quite male/masculine.

blorbo thoughts, genderswap albatrio edition:
jay stays jay. he thought about taking his dads name but that didn't feel right to him. also that would be mirroring the theme of canon jay keeping her family name and making it hers instead of shedding it. he doesn't get super dysphoric about a lot of things, but he needs to keep his hair short all the time or he will go insane (maybe it's dysphoria, maybe it's autism, maybe it's trauma, who can tell). doesn't bind bc he has common sense and being a sailor and a pirate and fighting in a binder/bandages is a generally bad idea and he knows this. figured out he was trans a long long time ago. has been openly trans for a few years. ava helped him with figuring shit out
chip stays chip but for different reasons. chip is just a highly sentimental name, and she is chip first, woman second. she gets super dysphoric in random spurts, one day she'll be fine, proudly wearing her stubble, the next she freaks out over her broad shoulders and sharp jawline and stupid man clothes. after jay buys her a bunch of dresses she wears them all the time. jay complains that it's impractical. chip is still starting to figure out herself when the campaign starts. she's about done with questioning her gender around the time that her tattoos change bc symbolism
gillion becomes gillian. it's still pronounced the same and his co-captains still call it gill for the most part anyways, but it's there and it feels good to him. he has never really been confronted with gender in a way that felt meaningful to him until it came to the surface. meeting chip and jay and learning about gender through the conversations jay would have with chip and being taught about the beauty of the world gillian becomes engrossed with xenogenders, especially nature related ones. he doesn't really care about gender presentation, doesn't get dysphoric at all, wears whatever is practical and feels good, so he wears a lot of skirts bc of the autism but not necessarily bc of gender related reasons. but he takes care to examine what he feels like inside. i like to think that when it saw the northern lights for the first time he immediately felt such a deep connection that aurora borealis is in the top three of his favorite genders
you! your brain!! you're so correct!!!! trans albatrio my beloveds!! and the symbolism!!! with chip's tattoos and the northern lights for gill!!!!!! abfjnajkfa

Spiderversekayic
An interest gender
Spiderversekayic is a gender relating to liking and enjoying the spider verse related media. It could feel that due to your interest in them your gender mimics or mirrors it or is simply related to it in some way. This is not limited to canon media or the movies.
This gender is for everyone and not limited to those with hyperfixations or special interests in the spiderverse. If requested I will make spin/hyperfixation specific genders. Suggested pronouns under the cut, I had so much fun with those!
Suggested pronouns: spider/man, spider/spiders, glitch/glitch, (any dimensions number)/(any dimensions numbers), bite/bites, bright/bright, comic/comics, art/arts, web/webs, own/owns, verse/verses, suit/suits, dimension/dimension, spider/verse, 2d/2ds, 3d/3ds, ghost/spider, watch/watches, anomaly/anomalies, canon/canons, fate/fates, un/stable, elec/electric, muse/music, zap/zaps, spot/spots
I hope everyone enjoyed this! I intend to do some more interest based genders, preferably for things without a large amount of xenogenders already created about.

"Most carry unwavering fear and endless doubt in feeling. Others forge it into the heavy crown adorned and cherished with steely brow, that they bear with pride, unmoved despite the infamy stamped upon their tarnished souls. I carry mine with boastful pride, as any demon should. I earned my crown through my own means: by suffering, with wisdom and through rebirth. Those who experienced the same, they understand, follow, and I lead. With me, they travel through many ventures, through fruitful endeavors to reach the highest enlightenment. I let them choose their own paths, for when they’ve lost themselves, who else will walk hand-in-hand with them and understand enough to respect one with such humility and kindness?"-Papillon & Devin

Clearing up some things about the “”official”“ gay man pride flag:
Tumblr media
[Image: A flag with 7 stripes. The first three go from dark blue-green to light blue-green. The center is white. The bottom three stripes go from light to dark blue. It was designed to mirror the lesbian flag]
[Original post about it here] [Deviantart original posting with updated description here] [ @archivalflags more detailed post about it here]
Mod Hermy of the Pride-Flags Deviantart here: I just found out during my hiatus from this blog that there’s been a lot of discourse surrounding this flag that I helped make.
APPARENTLY some truscum/transmed took this flag and reuploaded it (that got 8.2k notes vs the 9 notes my original post has), wording it in a way that made people think it was made by them (and also "official"). Also, it seems like it's been co-opted by truscum and transphobes to exclude trans and nonbinary gay men.
I am beyond pissed off at this, especially since I don’t remember anyone telling me it was stolen.
To be very clear:
I never want any of my flags being used to exclude part of the LGBTQAI+/MOGAI community. I am fully supportive of all aspec identities, “MOGAI” genders (including xenogenders, kingenders, neurogenders and neurorientations) pronoun noncomforming gays and lesbians (or anyone, really), GNC trans people, people who use the SAM, low/non-dysphoric trans people, and anyone else who may get excluded.
Basically, any identity (that’s not centered around harming people or animals) is amazing and valid.
Also this was never meant to be a finalized design (especially since I’m nonbinary and bi), it was simply a suggestion since the anon that asked me about a gay man flag suggested one that was too similar to the butch lesbian flag.  They never followed up on it so I posted it on Deviantart for opinions but didn’t get much interaction there. I saw it around a few times but didn’t realize it took off like that and was being credited to a truscum, no less.
I’m not quite sure what to do regarding damage control around the exclusionists that are using my flag, but I started by working with several gay men in a pride, and my personal server to come up with meanings for each stripe (based on @gayflagblog ‘s flag) that explicitly include GNC, nonbinary, trans, ace/arospec, split-attraction, and pronoun nonconforming gay men (also made it prettier).
Tumblr media
[Image: The same flag as above but with meanings superimposed over each stripe: [Community] [Inclusion] [She/her and pronoun noncomforming gays] [GNC, nonbinary, and trans men] [Ace/arospec and split-attraction gays] [Love and attraction] [Diversity]]
Here’s a better version made by @gayflagblog to deal with the problems with my proposal/suggestion:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Images: Two flags made to look similar to the first flag but with bolder colors. The blue stripes are slightly more purple and the green stripes are slightly more green. The first flag has seven stripes and the second is a simplified 5-stripe version]
And [Here] are some more gay man/MLM flags (including PNC and SAM gays) made by other people that I’ve been collecting (gallery is incomplete though, please send any missing flags/sources to me).

I've been thinking about my gender more often lately and I keep circling back to this post I saw YEARS ago when I first joined Tumblr (the gay website, as I suspected I was gay). I followed a lot of LGBT accounts and one of them had posted something from a mogai/xenogender account. It started off with a flag I had never seen before and unfortunately cannot remember any of the details about it, and went on to describe what the flag stood for. It was for a gender experience described as when someone, "Does not identity as being cisgender, but also does not identify as another gender" (roughly). I don't think anyone has quite understood me as much as that post.
The rest of the post was of course, people making fun of it. "Oh you're just a Cis person who doesn't like to be called Cis," or "Trenders just trying to steal resources," And so on and so forth, you know the whole transphobic waltz by now. I of course believed these things, any newfound joy or understanding of myself was crushed immediately as I learned what was right and what was wrong from internet discourse blogs. I was new to being gay, I didn't want to be one of the Bad Ones.
But still, years after this whole thing, I still think about it. If I could describe my gender I would say it's something similar to that. I am by no means cisgender, I don't feel at home performing or being perceived as the gender I was assigned at birth. But as far as transness goes, most people have an idea of what gender they are. It might change, sure, a trans woman might find out they're nonbinary later in life, I've seen butch lesbians become trans men become genderfluid people become stargender demifluxes, but there's always a name for that.
I don't think there's a name for what gender I am, I don't think it exists. That's not to say I don't have a gender, or that I want to coin a new name for one. I've already tried that, the label lasted about a week. When I think about the future I want for myself, I picture how things would be as a man or woman and it's dull. Not impossible, not unlivable, but unfulfilling and lackluster. Picturing myself as a nonbinary person makes it brighter, but not by much. Even genderfluidity, the label I've been using for a while now, doesn't give me what I need. None of these futures really make me happy.
I've found pronouns and clothes and a hairstyle and a presentation that make me happy. And though I'm not as far along as I'd like to be in my transition, the progress I've made makes me happy. I smile when I look in the mirror now. I've never really been good at putting things into words, but I think the more I try to dissect and label my gender, the more I miss out on being myself. Sometimes I call myself a man or a girl or nonbinary, in the long run it doesn't really matter to me. I am what I am, and what I am does not have a name. I am ok with that. I do not identify with my birth gender and I simply do not identify with anything else (nothing that's been described yet at least).
If any part of this resonates with you I would love to hear your experience, while navigating gender is not a new thing to me, I can't say I'd be good with advice. What I can offer is an open ear and a shoulder to lean on, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you for reading my rambles.

Captain Larry Trainor/Negative Man
* canonically gay so
* also fuck canon there is no way he's cis. That is a trans man if I ever saw one.

* Twunk.
Cliff Steele/Robotman
* mspec
* non-binary. He/They/It.
* that is a theybo. (They + himbo)
Rita Farr/ElastiGirl
* bi, fem leaning.
* either a trans woman or a non-binary girl
* she/they/fae
Underground members (not all just some)
* only one who isn't a lesbian is Karen but she's under the non-binary umbrella so.
* flit uses neos. Ae/xe
* Scarecrow Jack is transmasc enby. She/He. Lesboy.
* Jane is a genderfluid lesboy. She/He/They
* Harlot is an AlloAro Pan-lesbian.
Vic Stone
* kinda like the idea of trans woman Vic (or, as I dubbed her, Vicky) but also trans man Vic is also v good.
* trans Vic is just good, doesn't matter what way.
Dorothy
* xenogenders
* mirrored pronouns
Negative Spirit/Keeg Bovo
* mirrored pronouns + it/xe
There will probably be more posts like this. Also debating if I should write a mini fic where somehow they find out Larry wants to use it and he's very scared at first but then it here's them call him it and is filled with so much euphoria.
