The day had began like any other lately, supporting Zelda at the academy, overlooking some classes and a few errands for your girlfriend. The two of you had spent quite a while in her office as she finished her paperwork, watching in quiet awe while you helped her work through most of it, bringing her tea or massaging the tension from her tense shoulders. Afterwards, she had taken your hand, gentle as ever before the two of you headed home, spending dinner in the comfort of each other before sitting beside each other on the sofa, your legs positioned on Zelda‘s lap as a show played in the background, the two of you feeling calm and collected, excited for the upcoming weekend
The two of you began dating a few months back, you catching her attention at the academy, the stolen glances, the obvious mutual attraction but it took you both time, Zelda more as she tried to wrap her head around the fact that you are a student, considerably older and definitely appropriate but she had worried what others may think until Hilda had told her that she was headpriestress and could do whatever the hell she wants. Things quickly led to one another but so far the two of you hadn‘t taken it further than the cuddles, the occasional making out but the redhead stopping herself just in time as she wanted to give you patience and time, wanting you to truly feel ready.
Zelda had always carried herself with confidence, a certain grace that made your pulse quicken. You had been waiting for this moment, wanting to wait for the right time. But the glances, the touches, everything had been building up so slowly between you two that you couldn‘t wait any longer. You wanted her, the thoughts having circled for days now and you couldn‘t hold it back from your girlfriend any longer.
Tonight, in the privacy of each other, things feel different, the way Zelda‘s green eyes trail over to you with a heat that makes your skin flush, yet her movements remain calm and measured. „Zelds?“ you ask after a while, her attention shifting from the tv to you. „I‘m ready“ is all you say, your eyes silently communicating with her, pleading and begging for her. Her eyebrows raise in surprise, her mouth slightly ajar before she composes herself. „You‘re sure?“ she asks, her voice soft but commanding, a hint of concern laced in her tone, that this was too early, that you weren‘t truly ready.
You nod, taking a breath as your heart races in your chest. It was time and you wanted nothing more than for her to take control, to guide you through this. There was a small part of you that wondered whether your girlfriend knew about your desires, your kinks and that you had done this before, the redhead seeming to think you are this innocent angel at times.
With slow and deliberate movements, she turns the TV off, offering her hand to you with a look that already causes your cheeks to flush and the heat travelling right to your core. She leads you upstairs, wasting no time as she slowly positions you on the bed, her hand moving to cup your cheek, her thumb brushing against your lower lip as she leans down to kiss you, slow and tender. You feel the control in her touch, the way she leads the kiss but never pushing too hard. She was being careful with you, like you are the most fragile thing on this planet that she couldn‘t hurt, needed to protect.
Her lips move to your neck, each kiss filled with praise, murmurs of how beautiful and perfect you are for her. Your body responds to her instantly but you can‘t deny the underlying ache you feel for her. You want her to know you aren‘t as inexperienced as she thinks. But when her hands roam over your body, gently undressing each item of clothing, the tension builds and the ability to speak leaves you.
„You‘re so soft darling“ she whispers, lips brushing against your collarbone. „I‘ll take care of you“ she promises. Her words stir something deep inside you, but they also realize she is holding back still. And despite appreciating her gentleness, you needed her to know you are ready for more. Your hands reach for her, pulling her closer as her breath hitches, barely able to contain the growing desire.
„I want this“ you whisper, voice trembling with need and eyes filled with hunger. „I‘m ready, Zelda“ you try again, wanting her to understand, your eyes silently pleading with her. When her eyes meet yours, something shifts in her expression, she pauses, searching your face as if to make sure you meant it and then her lips curl into a knowing smile, finally understanding that you were truly ready and understanding what you truly needed.
„Good girl“ she praises, her voice like silk and the words send a shiver down your spine, pressing your legs together. She leans down again, this time with more purpose, more pressure as she deepens the kiss, her hands surer on your body. But still she holds back as her fingers finally touch you, brushing over your thighs and moving between them. It takes everything within you not to arch your back and beg for more. The pleasure she gives you is slow and deliberate, her eyes never leaving your face.
„You‘re doing so well“ she whispers, her fingers finally reaching your clit and beginning to move in slow circles. „Such a good girl“ she praises again, loving the way your face flusters and your body reacts to the praise. She has you gasping for breath, your body reacting on its own but the need for more surges in before you can stop yourself.
„Mommy“ you whisper with your eyes closed, the words barely audible but the moment it passes, your cheeks flush with embarrassment and your eyes force open. You didn‘t mean to say it out loud but the way it felt on your tongue sent a shock of arousal through you, one that Zelda could feel on her fingers as you coated them in wetness. The redhead pauses, her gaze softening before a wicked smirk tugs at the corner of her lips. for a moment, you thought she might say something but she leans in closer, pressing a kiss below your ear.
,,Is that what you want, sweet girl?'' she asks, her voice low and teasing. ,,You want to call me mommy?'' your breath gets caught in your throat and you nod, unable to find any words. The embarrassment lingered for moments but quickly replaced with the desire for your girlfriend, still on top of you. You feel your entire body shaking and pulling with need, her words igniting a fire within you and you couldn't hold back for a moment longer.
,,Zelda please'' you whisper, forcing your eyes shut as you feel like you may explode any second if she wasn't going to hurry up and give you what you need. ,,Tell mommy what you want'' she ushers and a moan slips out before you lock eyes with her, the shyness replaced by eagerness. ,,I want your fingers inside me please'' you beg, the desperation so clear in your voice that it takes Zelda by surprise, never having seen this side of you but enjoying it nevertheless. ,,Anything for you princess'' she smirks before deliberately and slowly moving her fingers from her clit to your entrance. Her eyes search yours for any sign of doubt but she finds nothing but desire and so she pushes them inside, slow at first before stretching you out quickly.
Withins seconds, you are a moaning mess, covering her fingers in your juices and moaning, begging, crying all at the same time while she pushes her fingers in and out of your entrance. Zelda could tell that you had done this before, that there was a side to you that she hasn't gotten to know yet and she couldn't hide her own arousal and how much she wanted to explore this with you. She can't help but give into your whines and moans, curling her fingers inside you and quickly driving you closer to the edge. ,,Oh god.. Zelda please'' you beg and instantly whine as she extracts her fingers, lingering above you for a moment as she kisses your lips before her head travels lower and in between your thighs.
Without warning, she puts her fingers back inside you, curling them with a pace that takes your breath away, causing your vision to blur from the bliss and any ability to speak leaving you. Her mouth attacks your clit as she begins licking and sucking, her fingers still hitting the perfect spot inside you and within seconds she has you spasming in her arms, her eyes never leaving yours as she watches you so close on edge. She wanted to keep going forever, tease and edge you but she couldn't help how much she wanted you to fall apart for her. And so her eyes lock with you before she whispers ,,Cum for mommy'' before attacking your clit again and within seconds your orgasm washes over you as your juices flow down her fingers, her mouth quick to lick up every last bit of your cum, not caring about how sensitive you feel once you come down from your high.
With a smirk she carefully hovers above you again, capturing your lips in a kiss, her tongue fighting for entrance but you grant it and moan slightly at tasting yourself on her lips and tongue. ,,God..'' you sigh, trying to control your breathing, your body still feeling utter bliss from your orgasm moments before. ,,That was amazing'' you pant, trying to control your heaving chest and Zelda simply smiles before pressing a kiss to your cheek, sensing how exhausted you are, your forehead sweating and your eyes already looking a little heavy. ,,You were amazing darling'' she praises before she begins getting up but you stop her as you grab her wrist, pouting at her. ,,Let's get you cleaned up'' she smirks but you protest. ,,Darling, this was enough for tonight trust me'' she insists and you nod, feeling tired but a little disappointed nevertheless.
She returns with a washcloth moments later and begins cleaning you up with the upmost care, every movement so gentle as if you are the most fragile thing on the planet. ,,I promise you, we have all the time in the world'' she promises before pressing another kiss to your cheeks and passing you some water. ,,Besides'' she smirks ,,I can't wait to see more of this wild side of yours sweetheart'' she winks at you, almost causing you to choke on your water. ,,Ice cream and snuggles?'' she offers and you nod eagerly, this another confirmation why you loved this woman so much, moments ago having you scream her name and now she offers you the world with such gentleness and care. And the two of you feel excited, happy to have explored this finally and both of you full of anticipation of what was to come, Zelda excited to see this side of you and experiment with you.

~•~
I knocked at the red wooden door of Spellman's mortuary house, fidgeting nervously, picking at the skin on my fingers.
"Coming!"
A sweet and pitched voice came from inside, and I could hear rapid footsteps aproaching the door.
I remembered the first time I came to that house, shivering, disheveled, crying. I had just lost all that was dear to me, my family and my friends, because... well, because of my sexuality. Living in such a small and old fashioned town was, at time, beautiful and relaxing. You knew everyone and everyone knew you. But, precisely for that, it was dangerous. When word spread that I was attracted to the same sex, everyone became cold and distant. They shot glares my way when I passed by, and they all decided that it was best not to speak to me. It was rough, it felt like the world crumbled and I was underneath it.
But Hilda and Zelda Spellman weren't like the others. They took me under their wings, made me a part of their family.
That horrendous night, Zelda was the one who opened the door. She immediately caught my eye, but I was too broken to understand that feeling in my chest. At first, she was distant and cold, just like everybody else, but, with time, she changed, she was sweet, and warm, and she made me feel at ease. She was my family, but I knew I wanted more. I just hadn't the guts to tell her, I was too afraid she would reject me, just like everybody else did.
"Oh Y/N dear! Please, come in, come in."
Hilda said, making me come back to the present. I smiled, thanking her.
Hilda was the sweetest woman I ever met. She was my new aunt, making me breakfast with all her love and dedication. When she saw me that night, she started tearing up. She was the one begging Zelda to let me in, and I was grateful she did. I was grateful for anything she did, really.
"Zelda, look who came!"
She said, almost jumping, with a wide smile on her face. I giggled, following her to the stairs.
At the top, I saw her, in all her glory. While Hilda was a cupcake, with her pink dress and white apron, Zelda was warm tea, with her red curls and black dress. She made me melt, the room suddenly caught fire and I was extremely hot.
I blushed when she shot me a glance, coming my way. I watched her every move while she descended from the stairs.
"Hey."
I said, almost screaming. I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I never thought a woman like her could exist but there she was, existing.
Her lips curved up, just for an istant, almost imperceptible, but I saw it. My heart jumped, and I almost felt like fainting.
"Whatever do we owe this visit to?"
I gulped, starting to play with the hem of my blouse.
"Well, I..."
I looked down, not bearing to look directly at her eyes. Those blue eyes, piercing right through my soul, I couldn't hold the gaze.
Hilda looked at me worried, putting a hand on my arm. I offered her a smile.
"Well, whatever you came here for, let me make you a cup of hot chocolate, what do you say?"
I nodded, clearing my throat.
"Y-yes, I would love that."
She hurriedly left the room for the kitchen, leaving me and Zelda alone. She was still gazing at me, with one lifted eyebrow. Maybe she could sense my nervousness, maybe not, but she came closer and, with one hand, she took my chin and made me look at her.
I gasped at the contact, gazing into her eyes.
"You seem nervous, Y/N."
I shook my head slightly, trying to regain my composure.
"Do not lie. I know there's something that's making you uneasy. Please, do tell."
I closed my eyes, inhaling. Well, here goes nothing.
"I-I... I like you, Zelda!"
I screamed. I opened my eyes, holding my breath.
Zelda looked at me shocked. Hilda came from the kitchen in a hurry.
"I heard screaming. Why are you screaming? What happened?"
She looked at me, than at Zelda. Both of us stood in silence, looking at eachother.
"Zelda! Did you do something?"
Zelda shifted her attention to her sister.
"I did certainly not. Now please, scurry off to the kitchen and leave us alone. We have a matter to discuss."
Hilda shot a glance my way, asking silently if I was alright. I nodded, smiling weakly.
"Fine. But please, be gentle with Y/N."
"Oh, I will be."
Hilda made her way to the kitchen, leaving me and Zelda alone, again.
"Pray, explain yourself."
I pulled at the collar of my blouse. I suddenly couldn't breath properly.
"W-well, I..."
Zelda got closer, towering over me. I felt so unsure and powerless, while she radiated confidence and power.
"Did the cat got your tongue?"
We were so close, I could smell her parfume, a hint of whiskey and smoke. Although I didn't like smoke, on her it smelled divine.
"I-I can explain..."
"Well, please do. That's what I'm waiting for."
She crossed her arms, and only then I noticed that the neckline of her dress let little to the immagination. And with her arms being crossed, her breasts looked so more inviting than usual.
I gulped, not being able to concentrate. I heard her chuckle and my eyes shot to hers.
"You like what you see?"
My face went red with shame. She probably thinks that I'm a pervert.
"I-I didn't mean... it's just that..."
She took one of my hands and put it on her breast. I looked at her in disbelief.
"W-what..."
We where so near I could count every little freckle on her face. A shiver went down my spine.
"Shush, you don't have to say anything, I know what you want."
"You... you do?"
She let out a guttural sound, low and dark.
"I sure do."
I licked my lips, instantly glancing at hers. She smirked.
"I want to hear you say it."
"I... please, kiss me."
I mumble. She gently pressed her lips to mine, only for a couple of seconds. The softness of her lips remained ingrained in my brain, and even when they were no longer on mine, I still could feel her kissing me.
"Is that enough?"
She said, her voice merely a whisper. My hand was still on her breast. It was as soft as her lips.
I looked up at her, trying to think straight but I just couldn't. All I could hear was her voice, all I could smell was her scent, all I could sense was the softness of her skin, all I could see was her.
"Speak, or else I'll let go."
I jumped slightly, not wanting for that to happen.
"N-no, I need more."
She arched an eyebrow.
"Please..."
She smirked, coming closer again. But once the gap between us was almost closed, we heard Hilda's voice from the kitchen.
"Hot chocolate on the way!"
Zelda quickly let go of my hand, making sure she was as far away from me as possible. Hilda came with a mug, as joyous as ever.
"Here you go, my little lady."
She handed me the mug and I didn't waste any time, drinking the warm chocolate. It was topped with whipped cream and marshmallows.
"It's delicious, thanks."
Zelda looked at me intensely while I tried to focus on the beverage. Hilda stood in front of us, smiling happily.
"I guess it's time you leave now, Y/N."
I looked up at Zelda, sadly.
"Why? She has just arrived!"
Said Hilda with her acute voice.
"She already took what she wanted to. She must leave."
I gazed at the floor. So that was it. She didn't like me, not how I liked her. Was she playing with me, then? Just a few moments ago... what was all of that? What did it mean to her?
"I insist, she should stay here for a while longer."
I finished the chocolate in one, big gulp and handed the mug to Hilda, who looked surprised.
"It's ok, I'll leave."
"But..."
"It's alright. Thank you for the chocolate, aunt Hilda."
I said, looking at her. Then I shifted my gaze to Zelda. I wished I could kiss her again, taste her on my lips, but I couldn't.
"Goodbye, Zelda."
I spinned around and left.

part 2 here
To say you were exhausted was an understatement. Yawning softly, you lean your chin over your arm, blinking softly as you force yourself awake. At least you were a witch that with a snap of fingers could put clothes on and appear presentable. You had a class to teach that morning in New Orleans at the Robichaux's Academy of exceptional young ladies, and then another in the afternoon back in Greendale.
Technically you had one job but in two different schools at the same time. Why? Because you couldn't bring yourself to pick one, being emotionally connected to both headmistresses in a profound way. You grew up in Greendale and attended the Academy of Unseen Art, growing close to the Spellmans since the very first day when they took you under their wing. After finishing your studies, you obtained a specialization in both ancient tongues and herbalism. It wasn't difficult for Zelda to see your potential as a witch. She praised you in a way that you never experienced before.
Honestly you felt like you owned her everything and more, because she showed you a love you had no idea could exist for someone like you. At the end of your academic journey, her role of High Priestess allowed her to easily offer you a job at the Academy, as teacher. Your eyes had twinkled with emotion and gratitude. You're pretty sure you shed a couple of tears and Zelda too, ended up feeling emotional, and blamed you for messing up her mascara.
Back in the day, Zelda had offered you a home, considering your unfortunate situation. You were adopted by a family of mortals that loved you until they didn't. When you turned fifteen, they came to terms with your true nature, got scared and the rest is history. You never blamed them, or at least, you tried not to. After all, if your biological parents abandoned you, what could prevent your adoptive ones from doing the same? Feeling like a burden, you left and found refuge with the Spellmans.
At first, Zelda was skeptical of you, a bit coldish and distant, however that facade soon faded, being replaced by a new sentiment. You learned the tragedy that affected her family, first the loss of an elder brother, and then that of her niece, Sabrina, and you told her about yours. Zelda grew close to you in her own way, a way that you soon came to see as love. It was through suble glances, soft touches, and sultry jokes, that she never failed to put a smile on your face, or result in a chuckle. You became her dearest. Your mutual second chance.
It wasn't unusual to feel her arms circle your waist, the pads of her fingers pressing against your skin, as she pulled your body against her front. The way her lips cracked upwards everytime she got you blushing, her voice calling you her dearest. When you were sick, Zelda was the first in line to look after you. You often asked her to stay the night with you, whereas other nights, you didn't even need to ask that, she was there.
You could say there was something between you and Zelda, that something being obvious to everyone in the house. But you never really put a name to it. Why? Because it wasn't unusual for witches to feel physical attraction towards one another and commitment, real commitment wasn't really something taken in consideration. And truth be told, an ordinary relationship hardly seemed possible for one like you. Why? Because your heart was split in two.
You loved Zelda to a fault, but she wasn't the only woman haunting your dreams. There was also a certain blonde witch that occupied your mind every day and night. The Supreme, your Supreme, the headmistress of the Robichaux's Academy for exceptional young ladies. You two met when the world had its days counted with the apocalypse around the corner. It was important by then that all witches joined forces to prevent a spoiled little child like Michael from destroying the world.
Not with little effort, the world was saved, but life had never been the same after that. Neither for you nor Cordelia. You two grew closer, she took a liking to you and your abilities, having never met a witch like you, with common interests such as herbalism, but also opposites in terms of general knowledge in witchcraft. Cordelia was gentle, extremely affectionate. If you had to use a metaphor to describe the two witches, you'd say one is a cat and the other is a golden retriever. Pretty obvious and simplified as an explanation.
You were screwed. At first you thought the feeling growing towards Cordelia was only a crush meant to pass, but it never did. And it was confusing you to the bone, because the attachment to Zelda never subsided either. You came to understand that you were in love with both witches. You couldn't explain why to your eyes that felt like a betrayal from you. If love was a sin, your stake was already burning. You were screwed.
You were a sinner, because you wanted both: the delicacy of your Supreme, and the fierceness of your High Priestess. When you told Zelda you had accepted a position at Cordelia's Academy, she was left speechless for a bunch of seconds, her eyes had welled up with angry tears that she had refused to shed in your presence. You explained to her that accepting Cordelia's offer didn't mean erasing your duties at the Academy of Unseen arts, so eventually, she came to terms with it.
Whereas the Robichaux's Academy mainly focused on mastering the seven wonders, along with extracurricular subjects such as herbalism, Latin and sacred scriptures, which honestly were introduced after your arrival, the Academy of unseen arts dealt with occultism in more detail. Under Cordelia's guidance, you were able to learn to transmute and you were now mastering the pyrokinesis. Considering the great distance between the two academies, it was necessary for you to learn about transmutation first.
Each and every time, you lost your temper, because you couldn't perform the spell, she had to stifle a laugh, taking in the sight of your pouty face with nothing but pride and admiration. She never laughed at you, but with you. And even more when you childishly crossed your arms over your chest and called her meanie. Then she would click her tongue, briefly roll her eyes before prompting you to come give her a hug. You'd give in, obviously. You could never deny her a thing, even less a hug. "You're too pretty to pout, petal," she would say, making you blush and giggle.
Back to the present, you've been going back and forth for quite some time now, from New Orleans to Greendale and vice versa. Considering you often had a class to teach at both schools, you performed transmutation countless times a week. At first it didn't affect your health, but lately your body was sending you desperate signals for you to listen.
"Hi sweet lamb, here's your coffee with a pinch of cinnamon as you like it," Hilda speaks softly as she places the steaming cup right in front of you.
It was seven in the morning, meaning that you still had an hour before showing up at the Robichaux's Academy for exceptional young ladies.
You lift your head and meet her gaze, a grateful smile tugs at your lips. "Thank you, Hilda" you mutter, your voice sounding lower than intended.
You take a couple of sips, and sigh happily.
"Are you quite alright?", she asks, a crease forming in between her brows.
You nod quickly, sweeping your tongue over your lips, "Sure, just a bit tired," you chirp, "anything that your amazing coffee can't fix."
"I'm glad," Hilda chuckles at that, a light blush coming coloring her cheeks at the compliment just received. But a part of her knows it's not a complete truth. Her forehead creases, indecisive rather than saying something or not, as you keep sipping your coffee nonchalantly. At that moment, a certain redhead comes down the stairs. You grin as you perceive her aura invade yours even before feeling her physically behind you.
When she places a hand over your shoulder, your eyes dart to her. Mesmerized by those red lips smiling down at you, she voices tenderly, "Good morning, dear."
A little dimple appears on your cheek, as you try to contain the butterflies in your stomach, but it's no use when the redhead brushes her lips against your forehead. Your lashes flutter close for a moment, "Morning, Zelds," you breathe out.
She takes a seat next to you, then greets Hilda, who had already placed her coffee on the table.
"So, Celeste, what's your plan today?", Zelda asks you.
The change in your expression doesn't go unnoticed neither by Zelda nor Hilda, as you take a couple of seconds to collect your thoughts.
"I teach at the Robichaux's Academy between 8 and 11, then I have a short break, which isn't really a break but a gap to use to plan my next class here later this afternoon at 3," you explain, before taking another sip of your coffee, "Oh before that, I also need to check on the bay tree that I planted at the greenhouse. Cordelia is as excited as a five year old to learn about the use of it," you add with a chuckle, however, Zelda doesn't find it funny.
Her eyes linger on your features with a persistent frown. Your face looks paler than usual as you speak.
"I'm still amazed sometimes when I think that they hardly deal with subjects like invocation or conjuring," you blabber absentmindedly.
Hilda takes a bite of one of the fresh baked cookies she churned out that same morning, "I don't blame Cordelia's choice on the matter, lamb. The knowledge of such things can be dangerous in the wrong hands," she points out, with a mouthful.
You nod amusedly, while Zelda winces, "You're probably right. But, they are so interesting," you emphasize, "I think she is seeing it too now," you grin proudly, "I'm this close to convince her to add demonology to the program."
Zelda laughs bitterly, making both you and Hilda turn towards her.
"It shouldn't be your concern, Celeste. Seems to me you're taking on too much."
You saw it coming, you roll your eyes, knowing Zelda was just being... Zelda. Unnecessarily apprehensive. "That's not true, Zelds," you reach out a hand to touch hers. Her lips twitch in a brief smile, when you affectionately stroke her skin, "Besides, I'm happy to show to her coven a different way to teach magic."
"I still believe she is asking you for too much."
You promptly shake your head, "She isn't asking for anything," you insist, but she doesn't buy it. Those were all your initiatives, your ideas, that Cordelia simply went along with, because she trusted you. "Zelds," you squeeze her hand, a hint of joke in your next words, "You shouldn't talk about Cordelia like that. She is the Supreme. Our Supreme."
Zelda groans dramatically, "And it's precisely for this reason that she should be able to plan her classes better. She lets you do all the work, way too convenient, if you ask me."
"That's not true, I--" you try to interject but she stops you, "If you want me to be frank with you, Celeste, I don't believe I've ever seen you so tired before starting working at the Robichaux's Academy."
It was coming again. You sigh and bow your head, withdrawing your hand from hers. A sense of nervousness rushes over you, as you try to focus on your now cold beverage.
"We are not having this conversation again," you state simply.
Zelda's brows draw together, "Too bad because we are."
You close your eyes shut and inhale sharply, "Can you just— not?"
You loved Zelda, you really did, but sometimes her fierceness took a significant toll on you.
She grins amusedly, before mouthing a simple and annoying no.
"Zelda, I have a class in half an hour and it would be really unfortunate to start off with a headache," you declare, stubbornly.
But she is Zelda Spellman, of course she doesn't drop it just because you ask her to.
"Why can't you be honest with me? For weeks you haven't been yourself. Did you really think I wouldn't notice? '' she sighs softly when you don't respond. She turns to face you before carefully placing a single finger under your chin, "Celeste..."
"Zelda, I'm fine. I'm just excited to get things done."
"Celeste, this isn't working anymore," your eyes snap open, in both shock and confusion. "What are you saying?", you ask hesitantly. She hushes you softly, noticing the sudden concern in your eyes. "I'm just suggesting that maybe you need to slow down, take days off..."
"No," you shake your head, "Zelda, you're overreacting, I truly don't know where this is coming from but I'm f--"
"Do not say you're fine or help me Lilith —" she spats, almost startling you. Hilda bounces on the spot, blinking softly, a crumble of cookie falls on the table, "Zelda," she interferes, however the redhead doesn't even listen to her and adds, "I'll forbid you to leave the house until you're properly rested."
You laugh bitterly at this point, "You can't do that!"
"Oh please dare me," she gives you that look, the sassy and bossy look that gets on your nerves sometimes. She has good intentions and you know it. Both you and Hilda understand her actions are guided by her heart, that is not for everyone.
"You're unbelievable," you mutter while rubbing your sore temples.
"You're clearly unwell," Zelda insists.
You feel like you're going to explode, "Because you're being a little over judgmental, maybe?", you snap and she glares at you, not particularly enjoying your behavior.
"Zelda dear, I think we should all calm down and find a proper solution," Hilda stutters awkwardly.
You turn to face Hilda, "So you too think there is a problem? Really?", you ask in disbelief.
"Sweet lamb, Zelda is simply worried about you. And so am I. Your aura is feebler than usual, and that's probably due to the amount of magic you perform daily which is extreme even for the Supreme herself."
Your fingers start trembling, your entire body actually feels like it's out on a limb. You stand up and start pacing in the attempt to calm your nerves. Zelda never drops her gaze from you. Deep down, she knows she can't keep you nor force you to do as she pleases. She would never forgive herself if you started growing hard feelings towards her.
"I simply didn't get enough sleep last night, but it doesn't mean I'm worn out or unable to do my job."
Zelda gets up, taking careful steps towards you. She can feel your magic crackling, the air getting thinner and tenser.
"I never said that, dear. All I'm saying is that you should slow down," she pleads. Hilda is looking at you as if you're a defenseless little creature. "She means good, lamb. We just want to help you," the youngest interferes.
"I'll think about it," you say curtly. It was still early for your class, however, you needed a change of scenery for your own sanity. "Now, I'm sorry I have work to do," you mutter, waving your arms and performing a transmutation.
"Celeste, wait-", when Zelda calls out your name, it's already too late and you're gone. She groans loudly, now pissed off for real, "Mother of Demons grant me the strength."

ೃ⁀➷ Imagine Zelda comforting you during a thunderstorm ·˚ ༘
Both you and Zelda had spent the afternoon at the kitchen table, each following their own trail of thoughts, when suddenly a loud rumbling from outside started to sound. A lightning strike followed. You flinched at the abrupt sound, making Zelda jolt from your sudden movement. “Scared of a little thunderstorm now, are we?”, Zelda sighed heavily and put down her newspaper. Brushing a strand of hair out of her forehead, she decided to soften her expression.
“No… I just didn’t expect the sound”, you folded your arms in front of your chest. Unwilling to believe your hesitant stuttering, Zelda got up and motioned with her hand to follow her. The older witch stood in front of the great living room window waiting for you to join. You’ve always hated thunderstorms, something unpredictable about them creeped you out. You slowly walked over to her unbeknownst to what she wanted you to do now. As you stood next to her, Zelda wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close to her. The witch pointed out to her yard, which was currently watered by the heavy rain that accompanied the ongoing thunderstorm.
"There, there, my dear. Thunderstorms are a part of nature's grand performance”, her raspy voice was almost soothing. “Think of it as the sky's way of cleansing the earth. The storm will pass and you'll see, it won't last forever”, Zelda brushed her lips against your temple and swiftly caressed your side before taking a step back from you. You remained at the window, recalling your girlfriend's words. Although it seemed messy, the storm slowly appeared calming to you and your fears were slightly calmed.

Scratch (Miranda Otto x Reader)
Based on a bts video of the Rain On Me M/V where Lady Gaga is trying to put Neosporin on a scratch on Ariana's face that she gave to her by accident.
Also, this is totally self indulgent and my first time posting an actual fanfic and I don't even know how to post on tumblr so like..just go easy on me man ;-;
Also just realized the gender of the reader isn't mentioned so :)
— —
You and your on-screen girlfriend Miranda Otto just finished filming a scene together. That was a wrap for the day although during your last take, Miranda accidentally scratched the side of your face with her nails.
It honestly wasn't that bad of a scratch. It was practically nonexistent. Of course, Miranda thought otherwise.
Since you guys were done, you laid down on the floor of the pre-call tent scrolling through your phone. Your other costar, Michelle Gomez, was also in the tent and started to take a video of you after you told her what happened.
"So what happened?"
You smiled dreamily at the camera, "Miranda Otto scratched my face. I hope it scars."
"How does it look?"
"It looks hard," you checked your face on your phone camera. "I feel like I was in an action movie."
Miranda came in and kneeled at your head with some Neosporin in her hands.
"NO!" you rolled away from her and onto your stomach. "NO NEOSPORIN!"
Miranda immediately followed you, walking on her knees to get to you.
The redhead dog piled you, placing a small blob of the ointment on her finger as she put her full weight on you.
"Y/n..give me your face." She chuckled as she looked up at Michelle.
You squealed and shielded the scratch with your hand, "No no no no no no no!"
Miranda softly held your head down to the side and tried to put the neosporin on you. She tutted as you tried to wriggle away from her finger "Ah ah ah ah ah-"
"I want it to stay!" You kept leaning further away from her hand.
"Listen to your mom!" She grunted.
When you were far away enough from under her body, you started to push yourself up from the ground. "Oh my god, we literally eat each other's faces on screen." You shrugged Miranda off your shoulder in the process and she landed on her ass, her hands still up to keep the neosporin on her finger.
Miranda was already starting to stand and you backed away slowly.
"Listen to me!"
You put up your hands as if you were prepared to fight her.
She walked towards you and you sped up your retreat.
"You have a scratch on your face! You can't get infected before we go to comic con!"
As Miranda started to quicken her own approach, you turned around and ran out of the tent.
She was right behind you, chasing you down all the while holding the neosporin on her finger.
"Please?! Come here!"
Michelle was still filming the whole thing, laughing as she captured you guys running out of the tent.

a/n: when I say based on, I meant verbatim. Yes, not an original work but like I said, I wanted a pairing with this situation and I didn't know how I would do that with Zelda or even Lilith but I mean hey, I might try it later...y'all have no idea how many times I've had to watch the video to get everything down.

Chapter 9: Spellbound (NSFW)
(Reader x Zelda Spellman) (NSFW)
(click picture for higher res - Artwork by yours truly, for Aligned. DMs are open for commissions ❤️✍️)
The purple hazing sky hung well before 4 in the morning - she awoke you with an arousing chuckle, her hand rubbing your thigh with gentle pressure.
"You make the most scrumptious whimpers in your sleep, I couldn't help but miss you in the most delicious way"
Your eyes began to open, the words like a silent call that suddenly awoke all of the cells in your body. Her eyes, amber and green, her staggering piercing eyes; like stardust and spitfire, bore into your chest, gifting you sudden lucidity.
She moved towards your mouth, her eyes closing for a moment before the softened, shyly contemplative look met your gaze. Her lips brushed yours with a warm, enticing growl in her teeth.
"How could I be so rude?"
She cocked her eyebrow, as she adjusted her touch, the thumb to be resting on the back crease of your thigh and buttocks. Her other hand reached towards your scalp, and siphoning slow bewitching circles at the base of your crown. She reigned you in with slow pressing kisses warming you entrancingly.
"You really got in my head…"
She started, her purring tone coaxing you as she moved to circle the backs of your ears.
She quickly fastened her legs around you, flipping you both over so that she is nimbly on the other side of the bed. Then, sitting up, she tosses her hair over her shoulder, as if she were on the silver screen. A confident moaning stretch arched through her torso as she reached towards the nightstand; flicking her fingers, opening it magically to feel within her own, several floors away. She retrieved a silver case, opening the face of it, with engraved in spiraling chinese dragons. She snapped her fingers striking a thinly rolled cigarette, with the twitch in her nose. Satisfyingly, Zelda sparks her cigarette between her nimble, perking lips. You couldn't tell with her casually impressive magic, if she was simply showing off to you - or if you hadn't quite realized how smitten you'd grown. Heat rose from your cheeks, her words sent it firing to your ears —
"To think I have gone this long without a cigarette — mind you -"
She couldn't complete another sentence before the warm sweet smoke circled the ceiling of your wicked, wonderful nest.
"Did you wake me for a cigarette chat?"
She turned to you with her daring look ,before a small smile lit between her lips.
"You're very charming when you do that, you know."
Her words seemed to ring in and outside of your mind as she lifts your hand to kiss just below your knuckles.
Your heart began to whip rapidly in your breast —— 'Wait, am I in a dream?'
You knew better than to think aloud in your mind, her close and startling proximity affirmative when you suddenly felt a bubble of connection surround you both in shimmering waves of light blue ripples.
"Did I make you nervous? Or have you not spoken in solely one person's mind before."
You felt as though you might be dreaming, reality awakening something you had told yourself over and over had been in your head.
"I can see here in your history, there is a wonderful editions of affirmations..."
She smiled softly, before blush brightened your cheeks, her kind lips meeting your fingers again. Knowing full well she had heard the history of your thoughts made you not only amazed, but unsure of the amount of time she'd experienced when she turned my mind's pages in seconds.
"I know there is much more to know about you then 'Y/N the spiritualist',"
She raised an eyebrow, inquiring politely as her mind seemed to whir like the tail of a flickering cat would; darting politely and intricately back and forth as she contemplated every syllable.
You went on to talk for what felt like hours, 3 minutes tops in her shimmering bubble of light, as she released it, caressing your soft locks before pressing your lips against hers.
The feeling of her warm body against yours would make anyone swoon, the way her movements rocked yours, like oceans waves deep beneath the surface - you could've sworn it had all been a dream if it weren't for the eyes on that woman. They could shake anyone down through their core.
She shifts her body weight on top of you, before your hands meet hers at your thighs, pulling them back behind her back - you move your left leg assertively between hers. She gasps, taken aback with her curt little grin before suddenly my hand moved off of her, wrist over wrist fastened neatly behind her back with the effortless twitch of a finger. "I don't make habits of… that."
She said before returning your hands to her hips releasing control back to your hands, with the brush of the bridge of her nose against yours.
'—Not when I know what you could do to me with that infatuating demure and pouty lip of yours. There might be a few things I'd let the little witch do to me~.`
Her confident purr hung in the air for merely two beats, before her eyes widened, your hand gripping more generously than just her waist.
" And when, I persuade you?"
Your voice, the only breath of space between your lips, before your tongue is slipping into her mouth, capturing every gasp. Before returning your fingers to her black laced panties, her wetness gleams breathtakingly against your fingers. The moonlight shimmers across their surface before taking them into your mouth, sucking on her warm sweetness gently. Who was she to deny you in her condition, after kissing you the way she did, she bit her lip, nodding in hungering approval. Your hand presses, caressing against the lace, gliding your fingers across her begging slit, your dexterous tips shifting her panties towards the crease of her inner thigh. Gliding across her core, the palm of your hand glides in careful pressure, feeling the wetness slick your skin as you encircle her clit in a slow, clockwork motion. Pressing deeper against her heat, your fingers move to slip —just he tip, at the peak of her entrance - her sudden short whimper causing you to slip completely inside of er. Her arousing gasps exhaust, warming your hot, blushing face. Her legs open for you, wrapping her ankles around your calves, pressing her forehead gently to yours. Your heart skips, before curling forward to inspect her g spot. Massaging it gently, you feel the tender arousal that has built over the evening - what seemed to only be an hour or so by the time dinner had ended. Her sounds were like magics getting you drunk off of the sound of her, her soft sultry whimpers.
Your body practically tingled, a relaxed mist of drunkenness slipping between your muscles. A powerfully quiet reign of silence captured you together, aside from your intense breathes. Entangling your your movements, you drew in closer, pressing her hips against yours. Her gasp ignites you to flex your fingers, adjusting your thumb over her clit before taking a deep, and smiling inhale, as you begin to massage her aching. The drawn out circles make her shiver and moan, yearning cloaking her limb and curling toes. Her moans seem to melt her seriousness, her smile drifts leisurely, melting her usually neutral expressions. Her cheeks and eyes soften as you watch them travel up your stomach and chest. Waning like the light of the moon, her sounds wane quiet, then grow as your swirling fingers build her from intense slowness and adoring to desperate for kisses. Her lips draw up to yours and for the moment you forget what it is to be alive. Your name, what it is to live and sleep and breathe. In this moment you connect so deeply… that it feels as though you have become truly apart of everything.
"Good..?"
You manage to whisper, hazily easing her orgasm as you slip her off your fingers, melting in a puddle beneath you, your own coming to a blissfully and numbing lull. Her expression looks much softer than what you are used to seeing. In fact, it crosses Zelda's mind to pull you closer to kiss her, but in this moment there is so much more suddenly swirling within her. The Earth shattering affliction, having moved her in some way, her fingers shake to open her lighter. You assist her, small flames emerging from your lips as you lean towards her. This was not something you had done before, but as you lean towards the cigarette, it ignites, crackling embers singing it's stick as ringlets of smoke circle her face. If it wasn't for her eyes on you, perhaps you wouldn't have known - but it was as if everything had just replayed for her again just now, a slight shiver rippling across her skin as she lets a small smirk appear on her lips, nodding to answer your pondering.
"You're incredibly talented little seer"
Zelda smiles, taking another drag of her cigarette.
It could've been any day, any morning, but this morning you had spent here with Zelda, had been a fleeting favorite. You both had awoken with such warm radiance, only a time distorted evening could begin to assist. Enough time was spared, the sun still not risen, to share a bath and biscuit with coffee while getting ready for the afternoon's engagements. You rearranged your purse on your armour, before feeling the woman brushed past you - then Zelda's grip began to tighten on your forearm.
"You will look for a message from me"
Her words pressed coldly to your ear causing you to turn to her and scrunch your face against her wet nose, her hair fixed up in a pinned bun, something you had gotten off of your nightstand; An Ethiopian fire opal with braided silver and the sliver of a moan at its side. Her eyes sparkle in the dim candlelit bathroom before the two of you dressed, fastening the buttons on one another's backs. Of course Zelda did the writing trick on the armoire doors and pulled out a high necked, black dress with victorian sleeves and skirting. Black lace trimming her wrists and neckline, each crease anointed itself with acidic black pearls. Hues of purples, greens, and yellows swirling towards their center.
"Do you suppose we will have time with Sundays lesson preparations and - blasted. The Litha fires…"
Zelda grumbled under her breath, leaning back to gaze upon you, before a cigarette appeared, smoking between her lips.
"What is it?"
You turn to face her, eyeing the lin fastened neatly in her hair before adjusting your own olive draping skirt and black button up top (with buttons along its spine) in turtleneck fashion, as well as dramatic waving ruffles down the breast. I pin my earrings before swinging my legs towards her, the light of her popping embers catching my eye.
"Next Weekend will be the Litha fires ceremony and I've hardly prepared - I was going to ask if we'd have time for our check-ins Sunday with lesson planning, and preparation for the Litha fires, and I completely lost the notion that the time had arrived so quickly. Would you be interested in helping to prepare me for the Litha fires advent st the academy - and before you answer - I' would like to spend some time working on my practicing' ,"
The proud woman erects her spine, ashing into the abalone shell in front of her before eyeing the clock and clutching her cost at the side of her chair.
"I'll be honest with you, I'm a bit nervous at the alignment of our ways - my practices and yours"
Her eyes connect with yours, her handsome wrinkled brow and vivid green eyed piercing mine as if to hold me from the inside
"Your perspective and supernatural excellence will be welcome amongst our Coven."
She affirms, a shock hitting my system miss my spiral sparks into a sprinting rhythm, as I notice the Directrix leaning forward, clasping my knee with her forefinger and thumb, rubbing the side of my thigh reassuringly - and I swear to you the shivers up my spine are her… ecstasy.
I'm spellbound.
She gasps, in delicious ecstasy. The gorgeous yearning that devours her, nipping at the peak of her need for you. Watching you wince at her touch sent a sudden luscious warmth between her thighs as hot blush mists her cheeks pulling you closer to her betwixt the sheets, adjusting to adjust a curl behind your ear, kissing your soft neck.
—
Each morning you wake up to the birds. To the call of ducks, and mourning doves, the laugh of happy seagulls and the huddles of mother black capped chickadees, their newly fed younglings, anointed with coats of dashing young feathers. Mornings are the inevitable dawning of the sun. The primal ceremony of singing beetles and stretching dragonflies. The chorus of fed, shimmering frogs, and dew diamonded sweet grass. Mornings are the declaration of nature. Conquering and choosing to wake up and chorus every morning. A ball of fire circles in space around us and we rejoice for the warmth of it's rays every single day.
For me, it is the warmth of your smile each morning that feels like the birds song and sunshine on my face.
We may not know it yet, but I think waking up to warm beaches with you, feels like heaven. Perhaps it's the fiery licking locks of her sunshine hair. The golden warmth of her smile, and eyes like young juniper sprigs against the belly of a young buck. Her laugh, warming my belly like sleepy temple kisses from your lover. I am choosing to trust in the universe - when I understand the feeling growing inside of me, and feel myself yearning to say - she is a woman I can see home in.
The morning sun begins just to rise, far earlier than anyone on a weekend would allow, but with only the peak of your blinds, you urge yourself to make coffee with the twist of your fingers, brewing into your warm teakettle. It was gorgeous mornings like these, with a fantastic woman tangled in you sheets, that you realize the world is to be taken by storm. Tea, then coffee for Zelda.
(A little known fact and intuition you picked up on during a collection of kisses post coital… her thinking about breakfast with you the next morning. - meant everything to you.)

gosh ur writing is truly amazing 🥹 I'm obsessed! I'm wondering if I could possibly request a Zelda Spellman, Cordelia Goode and reader fic with some angst? I'm currently obsessed with these characters rn and you honestly write them both so well🙃 if not tho that's fine <3
Cordelia Goode x Zelda Spellman x Reader - I'll crawl home to them
A/N: I am obsessed with this request!! Thank you 🫶🏻 I have missed writing for Zelda and after rewatching the whole show I just kept thinking about this idea, Cordelia makes it even better. I hope you enjoy and this is what you wanted <3 For any witch experts on here, please ignore some of the witchcraft and rituals, I wrote it to fit the storyline and it's not too accurate to both Delia and Zelda's powers. Also, I wish I could have carried this on for a lifetime but it was long already.
warnings: mention of death, mention of witch hunters, mention of violence, mention of guns, mention of blood, mention of smoking, angst, fluff at the end

Sitting at the breakfast table in the academy's dining hall, Cordelia stretches her arms, feeling the satisfying pop of her joints. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the scent of warm pastries, that the supreme had prepared hours ago. Zelda sits across from her, with grace buttering a slice of toast, her usual newspaper beside her. Both women look relaxed, yet tired, the week's demands having taken their toll on the headmistress and high priestess.
As you walk into the room, balancing a tray with breakfast items, you set it down with a soft thud, both of your girlfriends greeting you with content smiles. The three of you had barely seen each other all week, each wrapped up in the responsibilities of running their respective academies. Cordelia lived in New Orleans, running Miss Robichaux's Academy as headmistress plus supreme, Zelda living in Greendale, both teaching and leading the Academy of unseen arts for witches and warlocks. You had originally spent a majority of your time in Greendale, growing up there, before eventually wanting to see more of the world and finding a certain blonde far away.
Fate had bounded you together again, as both Cordelia and Zelda had known each other from countless council meetings in the past and when the three of you reconnected and realised that you all not only knew each other but had a certain attraction towards each other, one thing eventually led to another. You hated the idea of being far from either of your lovers but as the three of you mastered the ability of teleporting, Zelda additionally knowing how to astral project, it made the whole thing a lot easier. The three of you practically lived at Miss Robichaux's now, despite Zelda still calling Greendale her home and making an appearance at her home at least twice a day. This week she had only been in Greendale, as there had been some troubles with newer witches and warlocks at the academy. You had always been stuck in between, wanting nothing more than to help your girlfriends out with the burden that their responsibilities brought. And so you mostly split yourself, teaching and helping Delia in the mornings and working besides Zelda in the afternoon, before eventually collapsing into a bed with either of them, whether that was Greendale or New Orleans.
This is partially the reason why you enjoyed weekends so much as you knew you could always spent it with both of your girlfriends as they made those their priority, knowing if they didn't, this relationship wasn't going to work out. The three of you dig into breakfast, enjoying the rare moment of silence and the comfortable embrace of sitting beside each other. For a while, you simply savour each other's company, the peacefulness of the morning making the moment even more precious.
,,So, what do you both have planned for today?'' you ask, breaking the silence eventually. Cordelia sighs, setting her coffee cup down. ,,Unfortunately, I have an urgent meeting with the council. They've been quite insistent on discussing the new security measures, since.. you know'' she says, Zelda rolling her eyes slightly at her statement. Of course you knew what the supreme was talking about, several academy's and covens having been attacked lately and you knew this was far more important.
As you glance at Zelda, hoping she would at least be free, she shows the same guilty glance as she lights a cigarette. ,,And I'm afraid, I have to join Cordelia'' she huffs, knowing security measures are important but equally she wanted nothing more than to at least have a break this weekend. You nod thoughtfully, forcing a gentle smile and pretending this didn't hurt but at the same time who are you to whine about something as important as this. ,,I'm sorry sweetheart'' Cordelia coos, brushing her hand against your cheek with a guilty expression.
,,It's okay Delia'' you reassure but both witches are able to see right through you, not just due to their magic and abilities but also having been by your side for a very long time and knowing whenever you are playing it cool in front of them. ,,How about dinner tonight? just the three of us?'' your redhead girlfriends suggest and you beam a little upon hearing her offer. ,,Would you both be done by then?'' you ask a little hesitantly, knowing that those kind of meetings can take hours sometimes. ,,We'll make sure we are dear'' Zelda encourages and you trust her every word. ,,I'll take care of it'' you announce happily before Cordelia's brown eyes meet yours.
,,You don't have to sweetheart'' she tries with a head tilt but you are quite adamant, always happy to make your lovers happy. ,,What do you have in mind my love?'' Zelda asks affectionately as she abandons her cigarette in a nearby ashtray. ,,I'll see what I can find, leave it to me'' you announce happily before they nod contently. And so, with a plan in place, the three of you finish breakfast, enjoying the fleeting moment of togetherness before the days responsibilities pull you in different directions. You are the first one to leave, wanting to give both witches some space to prepare for their meeting and wanting to make sure you could make this dinner special. They both part you with loving glances, thank yous and kisses goodbye.
,,I need to stop by home first, Hilda has some kind of emergency apparently'' Zelda announces to her blonde girlfriend with a hint of annoyance in her voice. ,,Oh, is everything alright?'' Cordelia asks, concern laced in her voice, ,,Don't worry, probably a baking disaster of some sorts'' the witch snorts and the blonde can't help but smirk at her girlfriends antics. ,,See you there'' she smiles before they kiss goodbye. While Zelda teleports back towards greendale, you make your way towards the markets, Cordelia getting ready for her meeting and glancing over the documents they had sent beforehand one more time.
As you make it to the markets, you instantly feel at home, as Cordelia would take you here often on weekend mornings, picking up either flowers, ingredients or fresh produce with you. She had always made it a habit but since knowing you she enjoyed going with you even more, even before the two of you had become so close, although as you think about it a little further, you believe one of the reasons you had fallen for the supreme was how she took you around the markets with the brightest smile, holding onto your hand and guiding you from stall to stall with such excitement that it made your heart quickly beat faster for her. You had thought about the kind of meal to make on your way there already and eventually settled on both Zelda and Cordelia's favourite. As you walk through the markets, greeted by some familiar faces as they recognised you by now, you purchase several different ingredients.
Meanwhile, Zelda had made it to her home in Greendale, brushing past Ambrose who had greeted her with a quick ,,Hello Auntie'' before rushing into his room with several books and snacks as if he was planning something. And if Zelda wasn't so busy, she would have investigated what he was up to but she couldn't make the time to care. ,,What is it Hilda? I'm incredibly busy with this council business'' she huffs as she walks into the kitchen, feeling both annoyed and a little on edge what her sister wanted. The blonde stands by the kitchen island, some fresh cupcakes in front of her, as well as a fresh pot of coffee and tea. Zelda approaches with a raised eyebrow before glancing at her sister. ,,So?'' she asks with a raised eyebrow before the blonde looks away, trying to remain serious. ,,Well you have been so busy at the academy and you know.. with your girls'' she begins, giggling excitedly at the later part. ,,And I just really wanted to catch up'' she speaks, forcing a bright smile in the hopes that Zelda wouldn't be too upset and end up killing her for this.
,,Catch up?'' Zelda scoffs almost sarcastically as she couldn't believe her sister made her come all the way here for that. ,,Oh please Zelds, I made your favourite'' she tries with a beaming smile and the redhead simply rolls her eyes before taking a seat, lighting a cigarette and letting Hilda pour her a cup of coffee and slowly sliding a plate with a cupcake in front of her. ,,So how have you been Zelds? the girls?'' she asks excitedly and despite her cold demeanour, the redhead appreciated the gesture nevertheless, after the last year having grown closer to her sister than ever before and even if she wouldn't admit it to anyone or herself she had missed her, especially being so busy lately.
While the two sisters catch up, Cordelia had made her way to the council meeting, making it there way too early but wanting to catch up with some of the people from the academy's that had been attacked and hoping to offer her support if they needed anything at all. As the weather had taken a turn for the worse, you decided that you wouldn't be able to find the last few ingredients at the markets, trying another store but after this also being unsuccessful, you decide to abandon the things you had purchased already at the academy, before heading to Greendale, hoping you could either find some other seasonal things there or possibly being able to ask Hilda for some assistance what to do about this meal, because you knew by now if anyone could cook or bake then it was her. With practiced ease, you teleport into Greendale, stopping by the Main Street first before heading into a shop.
,,You're late'' Cordelia states with a chuckle as Zelda finally joins her for the council meeting, the redhead instantly rolling her eyes. ,,Everything okay with Hilda?'' the supreme asks, always having been fond of her girlfriends sister and especially her kindness and humour. ,,Yeah, believe it or not she wanted to catch up'' the redhead huffs before Cordelia tilts her head a little. ,,That's very sweet'' she coos, quickly stealing a kiss before the two of them make their way into the main room, joining both the council and the other headmistresses and witches and warlocks in charge from academy's around the country. Thunder begins rumbling outside, illuminating the room with bright flashes, matching the seriousness of the subject, as well as a certain witches mood.
Time seems to pass by as slow as possible, Zelda fidgeting with her rings as she was growing impatient, wanting nothing more for this to be over and to smoke, while Cordelia listened intently, knowing the importance of this, despite finding her girlfriends antics quite adorable. ,,You know'' Cordelia begins whispering ,,You can pretend to go to the bathroom and steal away for a smoke'' she chuckles and Zelda smirks, finding more and more reasons why she loved Cordelia. In a swift motion, she stands up, straightening her skirt before excusing herself to the bathroom, the supreme trying hard to suppress a smile as Zelda walks away, swaying her hips more than necessary on the way out, causing for the blondes cheeks to be coated in a slight red shade. For a moment, Cordelia reaches for her phone, checking for any notifications but there aren't any and it leaves a slight bitter taste in her mouth as you hadn't checked in with her yet and it had been hours of them being here.
As Zelda returns a few moments later, having tried to cover up the smell of smoke with some perfume, Cordelia again leans in close before whispering ,,Have you heard from Y/N?'' and the redhead simply shakes her head, however noticing the concern laced in her girlfriends features. ,,I'm sure she's fine, probably getting lost shopping at the markets or blasting music while preparing dinner'' and the supreme chuckles, able to imagine both scenarios so well and so she sighs a little before focusing on the meeting again as both her attention and input was undeniably needed, considering she was the supreme after all.
It's not until hours later when the same concern seems to reappear on the supreme's features and mind as they had both finished the council meeting and neither had a message. Cordelia's concerned brown eyes meet Zelda's green ones and despite the redhead knowing her girlfriend was prone to overreact and worry too much, she also found it a little strange, despite her not one to admit such a thing. ,,I'll call her'' the supreme announces, clutching the phone to her ear in anticipation. ,,Straight to voicemail'' she announces before her eyebrows furrow in confusion. ,,I'm sure she'll be home'' Zelda tries encouraging the supreme before Zelda reaches for Cordelia's shaky hands before the two of them teleport back into the academy in New Orleans.
As soon as they step inside, they find both darkness and silence, the academy both dead quiet and no one inside. All of the witches had left for the weekend and so it was no surprise, however you not being there concerned them. ,,Maybe she went to Greendale?'' Cordelia suggests and despite that outcome not making any sense, Zelda agrees, sure this was just some mixup. ,,Let me go and check, you stay here incase she comes back but I'll let you know'' Zelda reassures, holding onto the blondes hands before pressing a kiss to her forehead in order to ground the supreme a little. With a comforting smile, the redhead disappears in front of the supreme's eyes, quite literally blasting into dinner at her home in Greendale.
,,Zelds? what are you doing here?'' Hilda asks with a hint of concern and surprise after having seen Zelda hours before to catch up. ,,I-'' she begins but before she can finish, the phone interrupts them, causing Hilda to hold up her finger ,,Just a sec''. The blonde hops towards the telephone before speaking ,,Spellman Sister's mortuary, how may I help?'' the blonde speaks with excitement, before her features turn incredibly serious. ,,Oh dear right'' she says, listening to the person on the other side of the phone speak further and share some more details. ,,And you are sure on the name?'' she asks before her features both tense and drop further. Zelda doesn't pay much attention to the call as she had gotten used to them by now, before lighting a cigarette, wondering whether you may have been here and she may have simply just missed you and you may already be with Cordelia by now.
However, with a soft whoosh Cordelia appears right beside the redhead, causing for her features to wash over with confusion. ,,Cordelia?'' the redhead speaks in confusion, abandoning the cigarette she was about to light. ,,I- something is wrong, I don't have a good feeling'' she explains, the concern written across her face. Zelda watches as Hilda returns, her expression unreadable as she locked both shocked and traumatised. ,,Hilda?'' the redhead asks in a serious tone, having seen that expression a few times before. The supreme's head snaps towards the blonde's, not having noticed her presence until now. ,,Um- they- are'' she begins, unable to finish her sentence. ,,They- bringing- a body'' she stutters, before Zelda rolls her eyes, having more important things to worry about as of right now. ,,Well yes Hilda, this is a mortuary after all'' she hisses, but Cordelia can already tell that something was wrong.
,,It's- oh god how am I going to say this-'' she begins, tears welling in her eyes. ,,Just spit it out'' Zelda hisses, not in the mood to deal with her sister antics. ,,It's Y/N'' she finally announces, before the room begins spinning for both the redhead and blonde, staring at Hilda in both disbelief and shock. ,,Oh don't be ridiculous, it can't be Y/N'' Zelda remarks, covering up her inner turmoil and disbelief of her sisters statement. ,,I-'' Hilda stutters, unsure what to say as the people on the phone seemed quite adamant. Cordelia remains frozen in her spot, her worst fear finally coming true and her not having any doubts about this as you had been nowhere to be found. ,,What did they say? how do they know its her? why would she be in Greendale?'' Zelda begins questioning her sister as she paces around the room, lighting a cigarette. ,,I don't know Zelds, I'm so sorry'' Hilda announces, taking a seat at the table as the shock had rippled through her bones.
,,How long until they get here?'' Cordelia finally speaks, meeting Hilda's eyes before the blonde looks down. ,,About twenty minutes'' Hilda announces, offering the supreme to sit but she declines, feeling like her world had stopped spinning when hearing her statement. Zelda remains pacing, with each minute passing, her impatience growing as she lights cigarette after cigarette, chain-smoking her concern away and still thinking this is some kind of mixup. The three of them are startled, as Ambrose steps into the room excitedly, dancing along to some music that none of them could hear. ,,What's for dinner auntie-'' he asks excitedly before laying eyes upon both his aunts and Cordelia and their expressions.
,,Woah what's wrong, who died'' he jokes, assuming this was just some catastrophe at an academy, not realising the extend of the situation yet. Cordelia's eyes swell with tears further as Zelda gives him a glare that could kill him if she tried hard enough. ,,Ambrose darling, they are bringing in a body'' Hilda announces gently, before his features grow serious. ,,It's Y/N'' she carries on before his face turns pale, finally understanding the extend of the situation. His face snaps towards the hallway as he hears a car approaching, quickly glancing at his aunties before assuring ,,I'll go check'' not wanting to put that burden on either of them. ,,Thank you'' Hilda speaks softly, before the real waiting game begins.
Ambrose tries his best to move the body downstairs as quickly and safely as possible. To his surprise, the three women walk down the staircase, joining him with faced filled with hope and anticipation. He is quick to open the body bag, taking a look at the persons features before his heart stops in his chest. ,,I'm so sorry'' he sighs, before their heads snap towards him. ,,No..No.. No'' Cordelia cries out, taking a step closer and seeing your lifeless and pale expression. ,,This can't be'' Zelda sighs in disbelief still, taking a step closer before taking a look at you. ,,That's not her.. that's not our darling girl'' she shakes her head in disbelief, despite the others knowing this was just the shock speaking. ,,I need to.. I need to see her wrist'' Cordelia speaks through tears, before Ambrose glances at Hilda in confusion, the blonde simply nodding through her own tears. ,,She has a little tattoo on her wrist'' the blonde chokes on a sob before Ambrose carefully inspects your wrist, finding the tattoo and sighing.
,,What happened we can fix this, Zelda right?'' Cordelia begs, the shock rippling through her body as she shakes uncontrollably. Now Cordelia was always strong, put together and able to stay calm in situations like these. However after losing most of the people closest to her in her life, watching one of her most promising witches die in her arms, her mother and true mother figure, she couldn't deal with this, not you, not her sweetheart. ,,Ambrose, how long has it been?'' Zelda asks, trying to keep her composure and ignoring your lifeless body besides them. ,,Auntie.. I can't tell like this, I'd need to..'' he begins but his auntie is having none of it. ,,I need to know now'' she speaks through gritted teeth, Hilda in the meantime holding onto Cordelia's sobbing shoulders.
,,Give me some time and I'll figure it out'' he explains, beginning to put on his gown and glasses before Hilda ushers them away and upstairs. ,,Let me make you some tea darling'' Hilda speaks softly, ushering both women to sit down. Zelda remains standing, pacing around the room before again lighting cigarette after cigarette while Cordelia is falling apart on the same chair Hilda had sat her in moments ago. ,,This can't be real, what was she even doing in Greendale for satans sake?'' Zelda hisses, her heels echoing against the floor. ,,I don't know darling but Ambrose will figure it all out'' Hilda tries, trying to remain strong for them, despite the thought of your death also killing her as she had always been fond of you and treating you like a daughter.
It takes around ten minutes before Ambrose rushes upstairs, holding onto the doorframe with a shocked expression, as they all rise to their feet. ,,It's um... it's witch hunters'' he speaks, finally catching his breath. ,,What?'' Cordelia asks in shock before he ushers them downstairs. ,,Remember the bodies you asked me to examine from those attacks?'' he speaks as he examines the bullet further. ,,It's exactly the same like the others'' he recalls. Cordelia's features turn even paler as the extent of the situation settles in. ,,I assume it's been an hour maybe two'' he explains before the supreme seems to snap back into reality. ,,Zelda we need to speak to the council at once, check on the academies'' she speaks and Zelda simply looks at her with a raised eyebrow, caring more about you than any of those things as of right now. ,,We can fix this still, if we try, she may have a chance'' the high priestess speaks, having done her fair share of resurrections herself.
,,Go, we have got this, right Ambrose?'' Hilda offers, before he nods confidently. Cordelia steps over your body before leaning in a little closer ,,You've got this darling, please come back to us'' she begs, a tear running down her features before she presses a kiss to your forehead. ,,I promise we have this'' Hilda encourages her sister, noticing her hesitation. ,,Bring her back to us.. please'' she begs while reaching for your hand and is met with two reassuring glances before the two witches disappear into the night. While they inform both the council and make sure their academies, witches and warlocks are safe, Hilda and Ambrose begin the ritual, gathering the necessary items before beginning the ritual, chanting some latin words and working hard on bringing you back home where you belong.
The last hours had been nothing but painful, after your arrival in Greendale, you had managed to actually gather the ingredients for dinner for your girlfriends. As you glanced at the time, you realised that you still had a while to return to the academy to cook and so you decided to check on Hilda as you hadn't seen her in a week as well as Ambrose. However, you hadn't noticed that someone had been following you, unaware that they had been following you for a while, in New Orleans already days ago and watching your every step, simply waiting for the opportunity to get you alone. Before you knew it and could reach the Spellman's home, they managed to find your trace, dragging you deeper into the woods, demanding answers from you about your girlfriends. They didn't care for you, nothing special, just a simple witch but they had figured your connection to both the supreme and another powerful witch and so they wanted their location, ideally the councils whereabouts to cause as much death as possible.
Much to their surprise, you had remained silent, despite the torture and abuse they had used on you in order to reach their agenda and get their answers. You would have never given anything up, as you would quite literally protect them both with your life, knowing their lives and positions meant so much more than your own. After they didn't get any answers out of you, they felt like they didn't need you anymore, knowing time was running out and so they gave you one last chance before they pulled the trigger, everything going black afterwards. And ever since you had found yourself in this strange darkness. Moments before your life was coming to an end, you had seen a little collection of your happiest memories, growing up in Greendale, meeting Zelda for the first time, teaching alongside Cordelia and spending hours in the greenhouse with her, your first kiss with both of them and your last. After that, everything had been quiet, peaceful and darker than any dream you had ever had.
Eventually, you find yourself in a dark forest and somehow you must have known that this wasn't real as it felt like any other one of your nightmares. Unaware, that you were quite literally fighting death, as Ambrose and Hilda tried their hardest on bringing you back. It was the biggest fight of your life, walking past all of the people you had lost in your life, the people that had guided you, the people that you had lost years ago as they begged you to join them, follow them further into the darkness. But the only thing on your mind was Cordelia, almost being able to feel the way she'd kiss you on the forehead, almost being able to feel the way Zelda would hold onto your hand.
It takes another couple of hours before Zelda and Cordelia return to you, having secured both academies and alerted the council so they could take care of this further as their main concern was you. As they find themselves in the basement again, they are surrounded by candles, Cordelia a little shocked as she knew about the different kind of magic Zelda practiced but never having seen a ritual quite like this and the darkness of the whole thing. ,,Any news?'' the supreme asks, anxiously as she finds Ambrose and Hilda sitting beside you. ,,No.. it's all up to her now, she needs to fight her way back to us'' he explains, before they nod with sad glances, Zelda's green ones meeting Cordelia's brown ones. They join them in the end, sitting beside you on the floor, praying in their own ways, Zelda praying to Hecate and Cordelia begging over and over again for someone to bring you back.
,,You can do this darling, you need to find your way back to us'' Cordelia whispers, tears pouring down her cheeks as it had been hours of them sitting there. And after hours of aimlessly walking through the forests of death, you finally manage to get towards the end, hearing their voices literally calling for you. However, the fight against life and death wasn't that easy, as you walked past what looked like your own grave, your name engraved on the gravestone and the thought of you being buried in this dark forest made you feel uneasy, wanting nothing more than to return home. And so with one last effort, you keep crawling towards them, at this point beaten and defeated by the looming shades of death. And then with one loud shriek you finally take a breath, your entire body on fire and hurting as the wound from the earlier bullet impact that Ambrose had successfully removed stings through your entire body.
,,Y/N'' Cordelia breathes out in relief as she begins sobbing uncontrollably. ,,Oh praise Satan'' Zelda breathes out in relief, wiping at her own tears. Ambrose raises an eyebrow at her statement, before Hilda pats his shoulder. ,,Well done darling'' she praises him as he sighs in relief that this ritual had actually worked. ,,Darling it's okay shh.. don't speak'' Cordelia coos as she watches you struggle against this pain. Zelda could only imagine what you must feel like as of right now, having seen this kind of awakening a few times. ,,You need to rest my darling girl'' she coos before the supreme softly strokes your cheeks, guiding you softly back to sleep as she knows you are safe as of right now.
Eventually, they managed to get you upstairs, into Zelda's bedroom, keeping you comfortable as they had washed and gotten you into some new and less bloody clothes. Cordelia watched in pain as Zelda carefully inspected and treated your injuries, some very visible ones as your body was coated in bruises and cuts from the attack. They both stay right by your side, Cordelia having used one of her spells to ease the pain. Zelda having some magic tea from Hilda right by your side for when you would wake up. The two witches had in the meantime settled on the bed beside you, wanting nothing more than to stay right here for you whenever you would wake next, despite knowing it could take hours, possible days for that to happen as your body needed the right amount of time to adjust and regain it's strength.
The next time you wake it's several hours later, the moon illuminating the dark bedroom. As you open your eyes, you realise the unfamiliar surroundings and panic for a moment until you realise it's your girlfriends bedroom. Inspecting your body and the lack of pain due to Cordelia's magic, you debate whether it had all been a dream for a moment. With shaky legs, you manage to rise to your tired feet, turning on the little lamp in the corner in order to see, before laying eyes upon Cordelia and Zelda, sitting against the head frame of the bed and resting on each other's shoulder, still in the clothes they had been wearing this morning. And then everything dawns on you, the attack, the forest and waking up on the floor besides your lovers. ,,Delia? Zelds?'' you whisper, as the shock of it all seems to drown you for a moment.
They both immediately wake with a sharp inhale of their breathing, before they rush to your side. ,,Sweetheart, what are you doing up?'' Cordelia speaks, her voice filled with concern. ,,I- I woke up'' you explain in confusion, your voice still hoarse from the events. ,,Sit down my love'' Zelda instructs and you oblige, feeling fatigue wash over you. Cordelia helps you to sit down on the bed, before Zelda passes you some water. ,,Drink up'' she instructs and you do as you are told again, the cold liquid feeling nice against your dry throat. As you pass her the glass again, you suddenly find Zelda crying, despite trying to hide her sniffles. ,,Why are you crying Zelds?'' you ask in confusion, your eyebrows knitting. ,,Darling, do you remember what happened?'' Cordelia asks gently, not wanting to overwhelm you with the truth.
,,I think I was dead?'' you question, meeting their gazes as their faces turn a little paler. ,,You're safe now darling, we brought you back'' the supreme coos, before taking you into her arms. ,,Who did this to you?'' Zelda hisses before taking a seat beside you and gently stroking your bruised and beaten cheeks. ,,Witch hunters I think'' you speak, trying to recollect what had happened. ,,I don't know who they are but they..'' you begin but quickly stop yourself, not wanting to concern your girlfriends further. ,,They what?'' Zelda asks with a hint of seriousness in her voice as anger overtakes her and she was for sure going to kill them once she found them. ,,It's okay, doesn't matter'' you quickly try to brush it off but Cordelia can tell there was more to this and she desperately needed to know in order to find them.
,,Come on darling, tell us'' the supreme encourages, gently moving your chin so you can face her. As your eyes lock with her brown pleading ones you begin speaking again ,,They wanted the councils location and both of yours'' you admit, almost whispering. Cordelia's eyes close, instantly understanding the extend of the situation and knowing that this happened because you'd rather protect them both. ,,And then what? they just shot you anyway?'' Zelda asks in confusion, not having the full picture yet. ,,No honey'' Cordelia tries but you simply glance into your lap before explaining. ,,I didn't tell them anything'' you mumble into yourself before Zelda's head snaps towards you. ,,And why ever not?'' she asks in confusion before you whisper ,,Because I would rather keep you both safe''.
The statement causes for silence to fill the room, Cordelia simply pulling you into her arms again, holding you close to her chest, knowing her sweetheart to be a fighter and she knew that you would rather keep them safe, given your history and what a fighter you truly are and how big your heart had always been. Zelda struggles to understand your statement, while she would have told the witch hunters to go to hell and not say anything either, she doesn't understand why you didn't. She'd rather have them find them and fight them herself, rather than seeing you in danger and this extend of pain. Slowly though, as gentle brown eyes meet hers, she begins relaxing a little, understanding how true and how big your love for them truly was in order to sacrifice yourself to keep the both of them safe.
,,You did a brave thing my love'' Zelda finally speaks, gently taking your hands into her own. ,,But do me favour?'' she asks, encouraging you to meet her eyes. ,,Please never do that again'' she tuts and you and Cordelia can't help but chuckle, feeling a little lighter being in their arms again and seeing your girlfriend back in her old antics and habits. ,,Promise'' you whisper before holding onto the redhead. ,,I'll never stop keeping you safe though'' you mumble before she raises an eyebrow. ,,Maybe we can work on other ways for that sweetie'' Cordelia tries before you smile at her with a nod. After being in their arms a little while longer you glance at the supreme once more before fiddling with your fingers as a nervous habit. ,,What's going to happen now?'' you ask anxiously and the blonde can quickly tell what you are referring to. ,,The academies are safe, the council is handling it and will find them, I promise'' she reassures.
,,So you'll both stay tonight?'' you ask and your girlfriends eyes lock as your question kind of kills them both. They realise then that they had been prioritising the academies too much in order for you to ask this kind of question after a day like this. Without speaking, they decide here and there to dedicate more time to you, more time with the three of you and to figure this out for you. ,,Of course we will stay, silly'' Zelda tuts, before lovingly stroking your cheek and pressing a soft kiss to your lips. ,,Bummer about that dinner'' you sigh after a while, causing your girlfriends to chuckle lowly. ,,Are you hungry darling?'' Cordelia asks softly and you shily nod, considering the time. ,,What do you want, anything for my darling girl'' Zelda speaks softly and you shily glance at her before requesting some grilled cheese. ,,On it'' she chuckles before pressing a kiss to your cheeks and leaving for a moment.
Cordelia simply pulls you into her arms, gently stroking over every cut as if you are the most fragile thing on the planet before gently stroking your stomach, careful of the scar that now formed where the bullet had hit you hours before. ,,Does it still hurt a lot angel?'' she asks carefully before you shake your head. ,,Your magic worked well'' you smile before she looks at you in confusion. ,,How did you know?'' she asks before you giggle. ,,Delia I died and then you brought me back, without your magic I'm sure it would hurt a hell of a lot more'' and Cordelia can't help but chuckle despite the seriousness of it all, simply glad to have you back in their arms and to have her same brave girl with the same antics and humour back. And despite knowing this would still be a lot of work tomorrow, both in finding the witch hunters and keeping everyone safe in the future but also working with you through what you had endured. But she feels confident as of right now, having you in their arms, as you quite literally crawled right back to them, never being able to simple leave them like this, even through death.

~•~
You looked around, only then noticing the amount of couples there were. You were in the middle of the crowd, it was packed with people, holding hands or hugging eachother, and then there was you, alone. You looked up at the dark blue sky, stars shining bright above you. The moon was full and bright, lighting slightly the night.
You had a flashback of the year that passed. You cried, you laughed, you found love...
You remembered the day you met her. You had only started your first year of university, and your first subject of the day was about to start. You waited patiently for the professor to arrive, sitting at the last row. You chatted a bit with the girl beside you. She was nice but you hadn't too much in common so it was a bit hard communicating.
Then she arrived, in all her glory. The professor cleared her voice and scrutinized the crowd. You looked at her in awe. She had red curls, blue eyes and lips that seemed so kissable, you wanted to jump at her and see if that theory was true.
You then started attending her every lecture, discarding the others. You just wanted to see her, you didn't even pay that much attention to the lesson. You watched her every move; how she motioned her hands while she spoke, how she quirked her eyebrow when somebody said something idiotic, how her lips motioned upwards when somebody said something intelligent. Her voice was soft like summer rain, and sweet like peaches.
Everyday, you tried to find a reason to talk to her. At times, you consulted her because you didn't understand something- and that was true, since you only paid attention to how her lips moved but not to the words escaping them. When it was a festivity, you gifted her chocolates or flowers, ignoring the looks of the other students.
At first, she was cold and distant. She replied briefly, asking you to pay more attention during the lecture. But slowly, she started accepting your gifts.
She even let you call her by her first name: Zelda. You repeated her name like a mantra, when you woke up, when you were arriving to the lecture, when you left the class, when you were on the train, when you arrived back home, before saying goodnight. Her name sounded fantastic, and it was so her. She looked like a Zelda.
One day, you received an e-mail from her. You were ecstatic. You opened it immediately. She asked you to go see her in her office. You giggled, starstrucked. You prepared yourself in less than five minutes and literally ran to her. You talked about how was the studying going, diverting then to talking about anything and everything.
She made you feel at ease, feel secure. For her birthday, you surprised her with a birthday cake made from scratch by you. It didn't look that fancy, and it didn't taste that good, but she complimented you nonetheless. You blushed, smiling.
Then you confessed. You told her your feelings, and it all crumbled down. She explained to you that she was your professor, she couldn't be with you, even she liked to be.
And so she began acting colder and colder by day, she returned to replying to you with short sentences, she didn't accept any more gifts. You cried and cried, for months.
"... 10..."
You shook your head, making those memories go away. You took a sip of you champagne, looking at the crowd.
"... 9..."
Your heart ached. You tried to forget her, but you were unable to. She was ingrained in your memory.
"... 8..."
You just wished she was there, even if only as your professor. You wished to start the year with her.
"... 7..."
You finished your glass. A hand slithered around your stomach. You gasped, looking behind you.
"... 6..."
Your jaw dropped.
"Hello dear."
She smirked. You stared at her in disbelief, her hand now on your hip. The contact of her palm on your clothed skin made you shiver.
"... 5..."
You tried talking but you couldn't emanate a sound. Her eyes pierced into you.
"You don't have to say anything."
You closed you mouth, gulping.
"... 4..."
She came closer, you two were so close you could feel her perfume. She smelled like peaches. You loved that fruit.
"... 3..."
She looked at your lips, then back at your eyes.
"... 2..."
Her lips were so close, they barely touched yours. You closed your eyes.
"... 1..."
She whispered something but you couldn't hear it, since the cloud went feral, screaming at the top of their lungs.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
And then she kissed you. Her lips were soft, and she tasted like cherry. Your second favourite fruit. Then the kiss stopped. You opened your eyes.
"Happy new year, Y/N."
You smiled.
"Happy new year, Zelda."

The monster within you
[ z. s & c. g ]
part 1
two
Zelda is sitting against the headboard of your shared king size bed, one hand is securely wrapped around your waist, while the other gently unties the knots in your hair offering you a soothing massage. You can feel her heartbeat, with your face buried in her sternum, it is one of the prettiest sounds to ever exist. Cordelia is laying down on her stomach, on yours and Zelda's left. Her fingertips draw abstract patters over your knee, while you stroke and play with her golden curls in return. She loves it when you touch her hair, the faint sounds that slip from her mouth from time to time tell you so.
"I wish it was always like this," your voice is small, yet Zelda hears you.
She hums, her thumb brushes against your hip gently, "It can be," she adds, her tone makes you blush and giggle.
Cordelia is rather quiet, probably enjoying your cuddle, or lost in her thoughts, but you don't think too much of it. You're all together, after all. It's all you have ever wanted.
"When we don't have to work, yes," you point out, rhetorically.
Zelda pats your thigh playfully, eyebrows snapping up, "I thought you liked to teach."
You chuckle again, "I do," your eyes drift close for a moment, when you feel Zelda's fingers work skillfully to massage your scalp, "But I love this more," she hums pleasantly at your admission, that comes out barely whispered.
"Never a truer word, little witch," she can't hide the smile if she tries.
"Darling," Zelda searches Cordelia's eyes tentatively, that hasn't really joined the chat as per usual. The blonde witch hums blankly, and blinks softly as if she had been sleeping with open eyes all this time, "you've been zoning out for a while," her tone isn't accusing, it's soft and firm at the same time.
"Oh," she takes in a guilty sigh, then proceeds on propping herself up on her elbows, "I'm sorry, I was just thinking."
You and Zelda share a look, both anxious and confused. Your hand moves to search for hers, laying upon the matters.
"Whatever it is must be important to keep you from us," you mutter jokingly, never averting your gaze from her. Cordelia licks her lips, a clear sign of meek discomfort. Guilt, maybe? "What is it?", you insist softly, "is it about the Academy, perhaps?"
"No, I'm not worried about that," she voices faintly, but with conviction. You wait for her to continue, "the girls can manage quite fine even without me supervising," she is sincere about it, both you and Zelda don't feel the need to question her, so you nod.
"Then what is it?", the redhead pressures.
Cordelia sighs in thought, before nibbling on her bottom lip. She ponders on the words to use, not wanting to be misunderstood or accused of being judgmental regarding certain topics.
"You can tell us anything," you mutter gently, causing the Supreme to crack a grateful smile in your direction.
"I know, I can," she lifts your hand to her mouth, that you had placed upon hers, and leaves a timid kiss on your knuckles. The number of times these two witches make you blush and melt as a mere bunch of snow left in the sun is utterly embarrassing.
"We come from different Covens and traditions. Here some of you have signed your name in the book of the beast," she trails off, seriously glancing up to the to of you, alternatively.
You give a hesitant nod.
"Unfortunately, I have, yes," it's the redhead to speak first, "does it bother you?", she whispers, brows quirked almost in fear.
"No, not at all," she is quick to clarify, shaking her head with conviction. Of course, she knew that about Zelda, but for some reason, she never knew much about you, considering you only joined the Church of Night later in your life, "I'm wondering, if you have too, Celeste?"
Zelda purses her lips and says nothing. She is glad she is sitting behind you, so that you can't immediately capture her actual frame of mind through those eyes that can't really lie to you.
You let out a small smile, realizing you've never really talked about it, considered the circumstances that brought you in Greendale in the first place. Lucifer was already dead, when you reached the threshold of the town, in search for a Coven, a place to stay, a family most of all. You move slightly, to sit more upright. Zelda's hands never leave you for one second.
"No, I never got the chance," you finally admit, and you can feel Zelda's body tense up at your weak admission. You wonder why, but you don't voice it out loud. "Both of you know I was adopted by mortals. I know nothing about my biological parents, so when I turned sixteen, there was nobody to push me into signing my name in the book of the beast," you finally lift your head to confront with your girlfriends' eyes, suddenly afraid to have said something wrong, "is it... a problem?"
Cordelia seems serene. An encouraging and adoring smile is plastered upon her lips, "Why would it be?", she squeezes your hand in a comforting way. Zelda remains quiet, instead. She is dying to ask you the question, the same question that the Supreme is keeping in, while mastering the courage to bring it out. Zelda isn't sure if she is more relieved by the information you've just given away, or concerned. If you didn't sign your name, that meant your life was way briefer than hers. And same was for Cordelia. She holds you a bit tighter and deep in thought, she buries her nose in the nape of your neck. There is fierce protectiveness behind that gesture, a fondness you meet in Cordelia's actions as well.
"So, you're not immortal?", she asks secondly.
You giggle and Zelda rolls her eyes, "Witches aren't immortal, Dee."
"No, no I know they aren't but, those that sign their name live for centuries," she has a point, "I, for instance, have the same life span of a mortal. Same as you, I presume," her eyes swift towards you.
Zelda's lips pursue in a grimace. Her demeanor changes at once. She is sure now, she definitely doesn't like it. She wouldn't admit it out loud, not right now at least, but she hated that. Not the fact that you didn't sign your name as form of devotion toward the Dark Lord, she couldn't care less of him. That would have bothered her years before, when she was still naive to the ways of Lucifer Morningstar. All she worried about was the little life both you and Cordelia had, compared to hers.
"That's true," you say simply, unsure about how to feel about it.
"But you can always change that," Zelda finally speaks. It was a statement, however there was a hint of a question tone in it.
Both you and Cordelia lift an eyebrow at that.
"By selling my soul to whom?", the Supreme asks immediately, "I thought Lucifer Morningstar was dead."
"He is, but it's now Lilith to be queen of Hell," she interjects, without hesitation, "And it's not about selling your soul... not anymore, considering he is gone. Lilith would grant you what Lucifer can't anymore, without the same... obligations."
The Supreme hesitates a few seconds, and Zelda gives her the time to take in that information. You stay quiet too and find yourself fidgeting with the hems of your shirt.
"Let me get things straight," Cordelia starts again, serious in tone. "You're saying that Lilith, the mother of Demons, the first temptress and female sinner, guards a celestial power within her that can share with all witches?"
"Exactly," Zelda nods. "Plus, she drank Lucifer's blood, so her unholiness is even stronger."
Cordelia's posture loosens slightly. She looks less concerned, more relaxed as the doubts she had are subsiding. But you still grasp some skepticism in her eyes, and you can't really blame her as you have it too. There is always a price to anything, that's the first rule you learned while mastering your magic skills.
However, for some reason, Lilith didn't scare you as much as Lucifer did. And the stories you've heard about both helped you building that sentiment. Moreover, you didn't think of Lilith as pure evil. You believed she had her reasons to do what she did. All she wanted, back in the Garden of Eden was equality between her and Adam. In your opinion, it was something worth fighting for, and if the False God banished her simply for that, then it was his loss.
Cordelia and Zelda exchange a worried look, your thoughts probably a little louder than intended.
"Hey... are you alright?", the redhead pushes a lock of hair behind your ear, then runs a finger under your chin, guiding you to meet your eyes.
Cordelia's brow furrows as she waits.
"Yeah, positive," you crack a smile, dismissing the topic with a gentle wave of hand, "I guess it was my turn to zone out for a moment," your teasing tone causes both witches to chuckle softly.
Cordelia pushes herself up, sitting right in front you and Zelda with cross-legged, "Do you ever wish to sign your name? Would you ever?"
You open your mouth to say something, but it takes you a bunch of seconds to come up with a response. Zelda chews on her inner cheek, apprehensively for some reason.
"Possibly," you shrug, "I would lie if I said I didn't think about it. My wish is to live with both you and Zelda for as long as possible. I know mortal lives compared to witch ones only last a blink of eye. So maybe, eventually... I think I might."
You look between them and wait. You don't know if that was the right thing to say, nor if they would agree with such a decision. It takes you a look to grasp the emotion in their eyes and you find yourself exhale in relief. They aren't disappointed as you feared they would be, rather touched in truth. The redhead racks her fingers through your hair once more, and hums pleasantly. She appears more relaxed.
"What about you, Cordelia?", she asks the blonde witch after.
"I wish for the same thing, really, but I'd like to discuss the implications of such an agreement with Lilith first," you can feel Zelda's soft breathing, sending you shiver in the nape of your neck. Your hand falls on her thigh, fingertips draw lazy circles over her exposed, smooth skin.
"She is not that bad once you get to know her," she states simply.
You look at her, squinting your eyes a bit. An amused smile tugs at your lips, quickly reciprocated by Cordelia.
"I shouldn't be surprised you met her," Cordelia eyes her curiously.
Zelda's lips curl up in a coy grin, she is sure to have grasped some jealousy in both yours and Cordelia's glances. And how she likes it!
Clearing your throat, you ask, "Have you visited Hell too?", your brows snap up at the possibility.
"I never got the chance, no." she replies calmly, totally unbothered. Maybe some years ago, before her world turned upside down, she would have loved the idea of visiting the realm- hell was a place she had worshipped for so long, both blindly and stupidly, along with its ruler and his ways of wielding power. But now, after everything that had happened, she felt nothing but repulsion, disgust towards it.
"I thought that with Sabrina as queen, you would..." it was meant to be a thought, but you voiced it out loud. Your eyes widen once you realize what you've just said. You bite your tongue and silently curse yourself, "Shit, sorry. I shouldn't have said that."
But she almost laughs at your innocence.
"It's alright, silly," her fingers tenderly pinch your cheek, making you crinkle your nose in return, "When Sabrina became queen of Hell neither me nor Hilda were informed," she scoffs, however, there is a veil of fondness in her tone. "She thought she could keep it a secret, and she was right. For a long time, we didn't know, until it became impossible to hide the truth. Then we learned that Sabrina had made a double of herself to keep living with us here, and rule Hell with her father, but that's beyond the topic," she clenches her jaw, her mind goes to her yard and her eyes immediately visualize the two graves: one guarding Sabrina Morningstar and the other Sabrina Spellman, both her nieces, daughters. She tries hard not to let any tears slip from her eyes, and she eventually succeeds. You nod slowly and lay back against her front, letting her spoon you some more.
"Do witches go to Hell after dying?", the amount of questions Cordelia has is almost funny.
"I don't think so, sweetheart. I mean you don't go to Hell unless you commit sins worth condemning. My Sabrina drove me absolutely crazy with her stubbornness, but I could bet on everything that's dear to me, she isn't in Hell," despite the conviction of her words, her voice still wavered slightly. But you can't really blame her, knowing how much Sabrina meant and means for Zelda. "You're right. I'm sure Sabrina is in a beautiful realm, somewhere we can't even begin to imagine, for all the good she did."
She nods wordlessly, before pressing her lips to the crown of your head. A blush rises to your cheeks, you'll probably never get used to their fondness.
The blonde smiles, watching the tender interaction. A wave of relief washes over her at your words. Then, she scoots closer, cutting the already minimal gap between you three. She leans against your shoulder, her hair falls on your chest and tickle right under your chin, but you don't dare to more. Zelda opens her arm to circle Cordelia's waist too so that she is now spooning the two of you at the same time.
"Sorry if I sounded paranoid and a tad crazy," she mutters apologetically.
You peck her forehead, "Anything that I can't deal with," you mumble teasingly.
Zelda can't help but feel a strange sensation wash over her. Looking at you say that gave her a sense of familiarity she couldn't explain right away.
"You're such a little demon sometimes," the blonde witch lifts her chin, her face now is just an inch from yours. You look deeply into her brown eyes, knowing exactly what er next move was going to be, and you let her.
Her lips only delicately brush against yours, you drag your finger along the line of her jaw, before stopping just under her chin, to have better hold on her. Her hand flattens against your stomach, enhancing you butterflies to fly crazy inside you.
The Supreme's breath hitches when you deepen the kiss. Zelda's nails dig in the flesh of your ribs and that causes you to half moan inside the Supreme's mouth.
"Says who?", you mutter teasingly, turning briefly to meet Zelda's eyes.
Cordelia arches an eyebrow. Her fingers guide you to watch her again, and then, her teeth attack your bottom lip, gently nibbling and sucking it, before letting it go with a wet pop, "Your Supreme, obviously," you stare at her and trying to force a protest out of you, but you're left speechless, your heart pounds rapidly.
And when you try, as your mouth falls agape, making you look like a puffer fish, the blonde witch shushes you with another kiss, causing Zelda to nearly break in a fit of giggles.
"You're a tease," you sweep your tongue over your lips, to grasp her savour.
"And you love it," she voices in a sultry tone, leaving you even more flustered.
Zelda can't help the smirk from rising upon her face, as you stick your tongue out in a childish way.
You continue sharing kisses and cuddles, and the afternoon passes in the most blissful way you three could imagine. You even fell asleep at some point, or so you thought bacause one moment it was daylight and the next there was a comfortable dim light in the room adding to the already wonderful atmosphere.
"What's for dinner?", you find yourself asking, as you stifle back a yawn, "I'm a bit hungry."
Cordelia looks at you and traces her fingertips up and down your thighs.
"How do you feel about frog's legs?" the seriousness in Zelda's tone worries you.
"Ew," wincing you crinkle your nose, "Can't we just order a pizza?", you whine, brows knit in a frown.
"I'm with the little demon on this," the Supreme keeps teasing, earning an eye roll from you and a scoff from the Directrix.
"Fine, let's eat like children then," Zelda mutters, pretending to be annoyed.
"You love pizza, Zee," she smirks in the dark, and says nothing. No, she would hardly give you the satisfaction of being right against her.

Trying to come back:)
I haven’t been myself in a long time, I’ve lost interest in things I loved doing (like writing, and coming up with fun ideas for new fics). Slowly, I think I’m coming back to enjoy it again. I was totally out of energy to follow requests I’ve got or even come up with my own ideas to write. So I stopped. I missed sitting in my room and writing for hours on end, fussing about little details I loved putting in my stories. Honesty is important, especially when I want to continue this. It’s the end of October and it might be the season, which made me passionate about starting to write again, but I desperately want to get into it again.
With this post, I’m trying to officially come back to this community. So I’m inviting you to send requests again, this is my masterlist, and I hope I can measure up to how I wrote back then and maybe even improve.
Thank you to those who still read my stuff, even though I haven’t posted in ages.<3
