Marinette’s parents were absolutely swamped with orders for the holiday season, so they asked if you and Marinette could help out (you said yes of course)

If you already knew how to bake before hand, great! It makes filling out the orders that much easier

If not, then Marinette is more than happy to help teach you

Same thing when it comes to the decorations

On the off chance you’re not really great at either, no problem, she’ll just have you fetch things from another section of the bakery or hand her whatever ingredients or tools she made need while she works

Regardless of whether the work is split evenly or not, Marinette will be so thrilled to spend time with you either way

She’ll tell you all about recent fashion pieces she’s designed and what she’s up to at school

Just don’t ask her about her crush

She’ll blush furiously, stumbling over her words before changing the subject to something else (her crush in this scenario could either be Adrien or you, depending on whether you’re reading this as platonically or romantically)

You guys end up getting distracted at one point, so caught up in playfully flinging flour at each other that you completely forgot about the cookies in the oven

Safe to say that batch was burnt and had to be thrown away lol

Before you leave, Marinette gifts you a box of your favorite type of pastry as a thank you for helping out, complete with a ribbon and bow

The customers end up being happier than ever with their orders, making Marinette’s parents very proud and extremely grateful for your help
