OC-tober Day 20: Community Week (talk about a friend's OC/interactions between OCs)

A cat-nap in the sun with Izz and @rek 's character, Mint.

I really wanted to do art of them together for this week, I love their friendship so much. Mint is a tabaxi druid with self-esteem issues who's very scared and anxious much of the time, but much braver than he thinks. He shapeshifts into a human-sona named Mentha (it took me an embarrassingly long time to make the connection between the names) who is basically the person he wants to be.

The biggest moment in his friendship with Izz/Candor was sometime after Izz's identity had come out and they connected over understanding the desire to be someone else (amongst other things in that conversation, like Mint/Mentha (and another friend) showing a determination to help Izz and their sibling). Since then Izz had defaulted to a tabaxi version of themself when out and about, as a sign of their connection and to try to make Mint feel more comfortable. In a lot of ways their personal journeys are parallel, learning to accept who they are and growing into the people they want to be. They mean a lot to me ❤️

These were done by @rek . I especially love the Izz and Mint one; they really nailed Izz's reaction to a casual show of affection lol (has no idea what to do with it)
