In honor of Satan's Birthday coming up, I made mini apple pies! I'm super excited about how they came out!
You can find the recipe: Here (I added about 2 tablespoons of butter to the original recipe, they were tasty!)

XFOHV! Pi and her Gang vs. TPOT! Pie and Co.
Tumblr media
The jacknjellify Pi Day short was INSANE! /pos
I love how we got to see new Algebraliens, and I love how Imaginary Number behaved like Nonexisty (their look here is by random stuff [OSC ytber] on YT!) and e, Tau, and Root-2/Radical-Two. Love how XFOHV! Pi went from a calm and sometimes angry artist (in my AU) to a wannabe-killing-machine. (I also headcanon that XFOHV! Pi uses She/They.)

#Freddys #FreddysGrilledCheeseSteakburger #FreddysRegularSizeCheeseCruds #FreddysCaramelApplePieMiniSizeFrozenCustardConcreteTreat #FastFoodReview
I tried the Freddy's Grilled Cheese Steakburger Combo With Regular Size Cheese Cruds and a Caramel Apple Pie Mini Size Frozen Custard Concrete Treat.
This meal was pretty good.
I want to review the Freddy's Fry sauce later the next time I eat any fries but I didn't take a picture of what the fry sauces look like.
This food was microwaved and the caramel apple pie frozen custard concrete treat was at room temperature.
The Grilled Cheese Steakburger was pretty good.
The toast bread was soft and chewy in texture while not doughy which is a good thing while also having a light butter taste.
The burger meat tasted fresh and not overly salty or corny tasting beef while not greasy, the cheeses melted nicely and had a lightly cheddar with swiss taste and lightly salty, the bacon was lightly smoky pork taste that didn't taste corny while also crunchy in texture but gave me microwave paper bacon vibes.
This burger didn't have sauce so I guess the melted cheese is supposed to be the sauce for this burger.
This burger was lightly salty.
The Freddy's Grilled Cheese Steakburger weighed 234 grams.
I would eat this again.
The Cheese Cruds was pretty good and I had a few bottom of the bag shoestring fries.
The cheese curds were soft while also chewy and had a very light coating of batter on the cheese curds.
The white cheddar cheese curds were chewy instead of crunchy in texture but had a light natural white cheddar taste.
The shoestring fries had a light non salty natural potato taste and crunchy in texture.
The white cheddar cheese curds were smooth and soft.
The white cheddar cheese curds and leftover bottom of the bag shoestring fries were salty but not overly to me while not tasting greasy.
The cheese curds with bottom of the bag with shoestring fries weighed 123 grams.
I would eat this again.
The caramel apple pie mini size frozen custard concrete treat was pretty good.
This concrete mixer was smooth tasting and had a light apple pie filling taste with crunchy pie pieces taste.
This concrete treat had a few apples pieces mixed in which had a light sweet natural apple taste.
These apples were firm and soft while chewy in texture.
This concrete treat had a light cinnamon vanilla taste and I think these might have got help from this apple concrete treat.
This concrete mixer didn't taste artificial to me and has a light sweet taste while also smooth.
This was a little sweet to me.
I would get this caramel apple pie custard concrete treat again but I might go back to try the pumpkin spice one.
This restaurant is if Culver's and Steak N Shake fused into one restaurant but is more Steak N Shake focused.
The caramel apple pie mini size frozen custard concrete treat weighed 9.7 fl oz.
The calories if you want them.

Apple Pie with Coffee-Cake Crumble
To represent New York, aka the Big Apple, Stacey Mei Yan Fong created two versions of her apple pie recipe -- a large traditional 10-inch pie as well as multiple individual pies. This recipe is from Fong's cookbook 50 Pies, 50 States.
Active time: 30 minutes Bake time: 1 hour Total time: 2 hours 30 min Makes: 10-inch pie
Ingredients All-Butter Crust, homemade or preferred store bought, rolled out, fit into a greased10-inch pie pan, crimped, and frozen
Filling 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 7 Granny Smith apples (about 1 pound), peeled, cored, and cubed 2 teaspoons lemon juice
Crumble topping 1 cup packed light brown sugar 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
Directions
Make the filling: Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Stir to combine. Toss the cubed apples in the lemon juice and coat with the spice mixture. Set aside.
Make the topping: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon to combine. Add the softened butter and mix until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Fill and bake the pie: Preheat the oven to 375 F. Fill the crust with the filling and top with the crumble topping. Bake on a baking sheet on the center rack for 1 hour, rotating the pie 90 degrees every 15 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy à la mode or with the strongest cup of coffee you've got while "New York, New York" blares loudly!
Version 2: Mini Apple Pies with Coffee-Cake Crumble
Active time: 3 hours Bake time: 6 hours Total time: 13 hours Makes: 150 3-inch mini pies
Ingredients Crust All-Butter Crust x 7, rolled out 1/4-inch thick and cut into 150 3-inch rounds, or preferred store bought crust
Filling 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar 2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 5 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg 35 Granny Smith apples (about 5 pounds), peeled, cored, and diced 5 tablespoons lemon juice
Crumble topping 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
Directions
Make the filling: Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg in a large bowl and stir to combine. Toss the diced apples in the lemon juice and coat with the spice mixture. Set aside.
Make the topping: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon to combine. Add the softened butter and mix until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
Fill and bake the pies: Preheat the oven to 375 F. Fit each cup of the muffin tin with a dough round. Fill each with about 1/4 cup filling and top with about 2 tablespoons crumble topping. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
Repeat until all dough, filling, and topping are used. Keep dough rounds in the fridge in between batches to keep them nice, cool, and workable. After baking, allow to cool for at least 1 hour before removing from muffin tin. Enjoy!

🍳 - How well can they cook?(if yes, what would they cook-) For Ellie if possible 👀✨
The pink-haired hunter looked up for a moment, surprised by the neatly written letter fluttering into her hands. She opened it carefully before releasing an expression of shock. "Oh? Well, yes, I can cook! And people say I can cook pretty well too. I can cook virtually anything that someone gives me, as long as it's edible and not poisonous. Oh, but anything but mushrooms... I don't like eating mushrooms, no matter how extravagant they make a meal. Eww."
She crinkled her face into a playful expression of displeased.
---
omg someone remembered Ellie existed/j/lh
she's a hunter [literally] so she has a wide range of cooking knowledge from her times in the wilderness, where she cooked her own food. Her favorite food to cook is one she usually didn't have the ingredients to make it with often. It's apple pie! But she usually cooks a variety of meats and vegetables. but she doesn't like mushrooms,,, it's a texture thing.
