As the warm, golden haze of summer unfurls, I find my thoughts resonate with the wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh. 'Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky.' Our emotions are as fleeting as the playful clouds, they dance, they drift, morphing in the boundless blue expanse, akin to our summer emotions—bliss, nostalgia, passion, a yearning for the unknown. Like the summers past and those that will come, these feelings wax and wane. 'Conscious breathing is my anchor.' As constant as the shores caressed by the sea breeze, stirring the ocean into a calm rhythm. Just as the earth inhales the sweet summer air and exhales life, with each conscious breath, we anchor ourselves in the present moment—rooted, clear like a summer's day. This summer, let us be as unpredictable as the clouds, yet as grounded as the wind that guides them. Let's embrace the ebb and flow of our emotions but always find our way back to the breath, that steadying anchor amidst life's changing seasons. As we traverse through these fleeting seasonal chapters, remember, 'your breath is your anchor.'

Day 2 of the 365 challenge. I've been Xmas cleaning all day (Santa likes a clean house) limiting my photography time. I wanted to explore the capacity of my phone so got some markers as the texture of the nibs is wonderful. Put the phone in super macro and switched the flash on. I set it against a cream notebook as it works with the theme as well as being very clean. I quite like how they came out and the phone really picked up the texture. Did a bit of fettling in snapseed. Quite happy with day 2.
