How does this picture make you feel? Bright, warm thrust from the sunshine, quenched by the juicy fruits and fresh veggies on the plate. I was by the street in #dubrovnik #Croatia, where #kindslanding gets its majestic scenes.
Yet the #dubrovnikoldtown in real life was just another little town reflecting local's lives in Europe. It has got much more tourist traffic and buzz. But sitting by a restaurant on the street watching passengers coming and go, peeking the delicious food on the next table, capturing the fresh delightful moment of a day in Dubrovnik, is such a pleasant #nostalgic memory.
Scanning through memories like this makes me feel relaxed, positive, and hopeful, that life has its flow, fluidity, and its own way. 
When at the peak, enjoy the present. When at the bottom, keep it going. 
An uptick turn will come.

The Look Good Feel Good Lifestyle eating plan allows you to have "bad food" when you want. They are available, but not recommended. Knowing you have choices is freedom. And you already know the more you are not allowed to have something, the more you want it. So stop that by allowing yourself choices and having an empowering conversation with yourself. Ask yourself, "does this food get me closer to my health or life goals?" "How does this food make me feel?" "Is there something else I can do to get the same feeling?" or "I can have pizza, but I love how I look in my skinny jeans more." I love a good hash brown from maccas, but for ages I could enjoy them because I’m eating disorder always told me it was wrong to eat them, well today I am happy to tell my eating disorder to F off while I enjoy myself some hash browns and not feel guilty about it!

Finally got myself a scone! Sometimes it’s hard travelling on holiday and making sure your eating disorder doesn’t creep back in, especially when a lot of the time you have to eat out it can be very anxiety provoking! I’m just taking each day at a time and just trying to focus on having so much fun while I am in the UK!

What Weight Loss Journey Really Looks Like? The social media and advertising everywhere tells you how easy to lose 10 pounds or even 20lbs in a week, 2 weeks or a month, right? The diet culture also hypnotize us to think that anytime you need to lose a few pounds, simply cutting back on calories to maintain a calorie deficit, the extra body fat will melt away like butter on a hot plate. Nope... The reality is most people, especially women don't lose weight like that. Calorie deficit and starvation model assumes the human body is like a bucket pour in pour out. The human body is a very complicated biochemical machine driver by hormones, biology and psychological factors. Most people give up on their weight loss effort too early too soon because they have a distorted expectations. They think their weight will plummet at the start of the starvation diet like they see in social media and advertising. But the reality is that their weight may fluctuate a while before actual weight loss happen. However, most people would have given up before the weight loss start, which would be 1-2 months. How do I know if I ate Too Much? We are born intuitive eaters. This is why it's so easy for babies to eat when they're hungry and stop when they're full. But as we get older, many of us lose touch with our hunger and fullness from years of mindless eating based on external rules rather than internal cues. A tool that is very helpful to re-connect you with your internal body cues is the hunger and fullness scale. The hunger fullness scale translates your hunger and fullness sensation on a visual scale of 1 to 10. "1" being starving/ravenous "hangry" state, and "10" being stuffed to the point of feeling sick. When you start feeling hungry and thoughts of food started appearing (a "3"), it's a good time to start deciding on what to eat. This is when you are still capable of making sound, healthy choices for your body. Then eat slowly until you're comfortably full or not hungry anymore (between a "5" or a "6"). We want to feel nourished, energized, and satiated, not stuffed. Before you start eating, ask yourself if you're physically hungry. If not, what is your feeling at that moment, and why you're feeling that way. Emotional or stress eating is a learned behavior that can be unlearned, but it starts with recognizing it.
