Beyond the Box
Have you noticed lately how everyone seems to be becoming the same? It seems like everyone is watching the same entertainment channels, laughing at the same memes, traveling to the same places. It’s becoming increasingly rare to find people with unique opinions. We find ourselves resembling each other as we are influenced by the same algorithms, brands, and trends. Be yourself; everyone else…

30 days The Daily Stoic Journal challenge On 03.03 I received my order for both The Daily Stoic Journal and the original The Daily Stoic book written by @ryanholiday and @stevehanselman I stumbled upon Ryan’s YouTube channel “Daily Stoic” just a few weeks ago during a time of a great need to change, to learn how to deal with stress and anxiety in a better way and how to let things that are not under my control go away. Of course, I have a long way ahead of myself and my journey in stoicism has just begun, but I am grateful for everything that came into my way - both good and bad and I am ready to face the future. Both books are crafted for you to reflect on your day, journal like Marcus or Seneca who were way ahead of their time and we can learn so much from both even in the modern age. I will further share my 30 days journey and my opinion about both books and how they have improved my daily routine. Thank you for being here 😊 . . . . . . . . . #stoicmindset #philosphy #philosophyquotes #philosophicalthoughts #thedailystoic #philosophical #stoics #dailystoic #stoicphilosophy #stoicism #marcusaurelius #seneca #booklover #cloudwrites #readingtime📖 #journalcommunity #journalideas #bookstagrammeroflagos #booksofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CpXe07oIxfE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

“ vindica te tibi „ – and what we should learn from an old stoic like Seneca
if you have ever studied latin or philosophy, you will certainly have stumbled upon Seneca, a very problematic dude who, however, occasionally said the right things.
“ vindica te tibi „ is my all-time-favorite latin quote, it litterally means “ vindicate yourself for yourself „, but we can translate it better with “ take control of yourself „. in order to deeply understand this statement, let's take a look at stoic philosophy.
stoicism [ from latin stōicus and ancient greek Στωϊκός ( stōïkós ) ]: it’s a philosophy designed to make us more resilient, happier, more virtuous and more wise and – as a result – better people, better parents and better professionals. it is a philosophical and spiritual current with a rational (human rationality is the basis of everything), pantheistic (everything is God, God is everywere, the whole universe is God), deterministic (nothing happens by chance but everything is regulated by precise logical laws), and dogmatic (all that is, as being, is real and concrete) imprint, with a strong ethical and tendentially optimistic orientation. stoicism was founded in Athens around 300 bc by Zeno of Citium and later it was introduced to rome by Panaetius of Rhodes in the 2nd century bc. stoicism is a tool in the pursuit of self-mastery, perseverance, and wisdom: something one uses to live a great life, rather than some esoteric field of academic inquiry. [ sources wikipedia and dailystoic ]
Seneca was a stoic philosopher who lived in rome in the 1st century ad, and he wrote this quote in a letter addressed to Lucilus, a friend of his much younger than him, interested in philosophy and politics.
in this letter ( the first of his epistolary ) he deals with the theme of time and the brevity of life, a subject that he would often return to in many of his works. basically Seneca claims that life isn't actually that short, as the majority of people complain, we're just very good at waste our time beign slaves of something, instead of using it wisley. there are many ways people waste their time, he calls them " the busy ones ", those people who spend their energies on useless business and relationships, which lead neither to their personal growth nor to an economic, social or psychological advantage, just because they're used to it.
Seneca is saying that we are so used to wasting time, doing certain things just because we have been taught to do so, that we don't realize that we could do much more for ourselves and for our enviroment if we only knew how to use our time correctly.
" vindica te tibi " means that you have to take control of your time, because no one can give it back to you. your future depends on the investment in yourself and in your time, your future and who you are as a person is up to you. take control of yourself.

Huit pensées stoïciennes pour être courageux :
1) Ne souffrez pas de troubles imaginaires (Sénèque) ;
2) Voir la difficulté comme une opportunité de faire ses preuves (Epictète) ;
3) Souviens-toi de ce que tu as déjà eu le courage d'endurer (Marc Aurèle) ;
4) Concentrez-vous sur le plus petit pas que vous puissiez faire (Zénon) ;
5) N'ayez pas peur de demander de l'aide (Marc Aurèle) ;
6) Faites du courage une habitude : recherchez les défis, pratiquez l'inconfort volontaire, faites ce que vous avez peur de faire (Sénèque) ;
7) Définissez vos peurs pour voir qu'elles peuvent être facilement vaincues (Sénèque) ;
8) Arrêtez de vous soucier de ce que les autres diront ou penseront (Marc Aurèle).

Bibi Fires Yoav Gallant, Installs More Extreme Lunatic.
It's almost like he knew Trump was going to win !
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last night on CNN and Twitter, which is what I was doing all night (I’m burned out from not sleeping, so expect a shitty day of articles), the second most notable thing (second to the fact the Jews were so comfortable with the Trump win) was that no one in the mainstream mentioned Israel and their wars.
Even when the CNN Jew was talking about Kamala apparently losing Arabs in Michigan, he did not mention why.
In the post-victory analysis, they were talking about the economy primarily, but also blamed their loss on trannies without mentioning the Israel situation. Obviously, all of the “alternative media” Twitter accounts were talking about Israel, but the mainstream did not mention it even once.
I was shocked when CNN started blaming trannies. Obviously, people hate trannies, but it’s weird to see the media say that.
Meanwhile, in the real location at which US policy is decided, there has been a big shakeup. In the hours before the Trump victory, which he obviously knew was coming, Bibi fired Yoav Gallant and installed a more extreme lunatic.
Reuters:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defence Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday, citing a “crisis of trust”, and replaced him with close ally Israel Katz to lead the country’s war in Gaza and Lebanon. Netanyahu’s critics accused him of putting politics ahead of national security at a time when Israel is bracing for Iranian retaliation to its Oct. 26 airstrikes on the Islamic Republic. After Gallant was fired, protesters in Israel blocked highways and lit bonfires on roads, police said. … Gallant and Netanyahu, both in the right-wing Likud party, have clashed for months over the objectives of Israel’s 13-month-old war in Gaza against Palestinian militant group Hamas. But the timing of Gallant’s dismissal was a surprise, and came as Israel’s ally the U.S. held its presidential election. … As foreign minister, Katz barred U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres last month from entering Israel over what he described as a failure to condemn an Iranian missile attack and antisemitic and anti-Israel conduct. In September, he rejected proposals from the U.S. and France for a 21-day ceasefire in Lebanon. … Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid said on X, however, that “firing Gallant in the middle of a war is an act of madness.”
Basically, Bibi is kicking out a guy who was trying to do the war in a serious way and replacing him with a lunatic. He is doing this based on the knowledge that with Trump in office, they’re not going to be in this fight alone for much longer. The Big Fat Daddy is going to come to the rescue, with a lot of bombs and warm bodies to throw at Iran.
Tumblr media
I suspect very strongly that during the upcoming Iranian response to Israel’s attack, Bibi will do an October 7th style “stand down.” In this case, that would mean not shooting down most of the rockets, allowing for serious damage and probably for people to die. This will get the energy going again. They will spam it all over American TV. It’s just obvious that this is what you would want to do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gallant was himself an unhinged maniac supporting the complete genocide of Palestinians. He wasn’t some kind of moderate. But this new guy is actually insane. Bibi has been progressively removing anyone who is not insane from his orbit as he pushes this plan to fight a seven-front war and destroy all of the enemies of Israel in one fell swoop.
The seven-nation army in question is rather serious, and it’s backed by both Russia and China. So this is not exactly going to be easy for the United States, and it might actually lead to a serious collapse which causes the US Empire to break apart like the USSR.
That’s the argument for Trump as the accelerationist candidate, at least.
