✎ᝰ BAKUGOU KATSUKI ; — bakugou hates everything about valentine’s day & nothing could change that. unfortunately for him, nothing is your middle name.
࿄ ! warnings — none. super cute fluff. / note. p2 is here :} enjoy <3
“i hate valentine’s day.”
bakugou and kirishima storm through the streets of tokyo, donning their hero uniforms and watching the public. kirishima rolls his eyes and tightly grabs the shoulder of his friend before he can shake him off in disgust.
“hate is a strong word, bakubro. you dislike valentine’s day. and i don’t believe that for a second. you just haven’t find the right one to love valentine’s with,” kirishima contends as he looks up at the billboards brandished with the latest advertisements going on and on about the latest swarovski bracelet and “the best flowers to get any woman to love you.”
“suckers like you are the reason why that is stupid day is such a big deal,” bakugou grumbles. “you’re gonna celebrate a made up day-” “it’s not made up!” “made up day to bait you into spending all your money on dumb shit. it’s useless and you’re dumb.”
kirishima laughs at bakugou’s cynicism and shakes his head. “like i said, you just haven’t find the right one! no offence, but taking romance advice from you would be like taking advice from denki.” bakugou shoots kirishima a pointed look and he puts his hands up in a surrendered pose.
“i’m just saying, while i buy flowers and a necklace for a lovely lady of mine, you can wallow in your pity party against the most romantic day of the year. that’s the best thing you can do for a girl.” bakugou groans outwardly and turns to look at his friend.
“is this a patrol or a reason for ya to go on and on about your new girlfriend? cos’ it seems like we ain’t scoping for villains and i’m just an ear to hear about how you get your dick wet.”
kirishima’s face curls at bakugou’s crude language and he shoves the blonde somewhat playfully. “firstly, my relationship with my girl is more than that. and secondly, it wouldn’t be manly of me to talk about my sex life.” bakugou scoffs at this.
“so instead you’ll subject me to ya boring love stories? hard pass.”
at this point, both the guys had reached their agency: being so caught up in their conversation about love and whatnot meant they subconsciously arrived at the huge, vast building.
“‘m sure dunceface and pinky will want to hear all about how you spent 15,000 yen on a fucking necklace but i don’t. have i already told you how stupid that was, by the way?”
kirishima sighs and opens the door, “that’s probably the only thing you’ve inputted into this conversation.”
the boys walk into the entrance and the reception is donned with flowers and glitter and pink hearts alike. the display left a sickening taste in bakugou’s mouth. there’s no way he would’ve co-signed something as ugly as this. it was definitely mina or denki or even deku-
“hey you guys! how do you like the look of the downstairs? i figured it’s not as valentine’s-esque as i would’ve liked but the glitter and the tendrils are pink and they’re heart shaped so i think it makes up for the other…” you gesture to the other parts of the decor that cover the entirely of the ground floor, “parts!”
kirishima looks at bakugou tentatively through his peripheral vision and bakugou’s eyebrows are so far raised, they’ve disappeared into the wheat strands adoring his hairline.
“i like it a lot, y/n! i can really feel the loving energy here,” exclaims kirishima and you smile and clap your hands at that.
“that’s so good to hear! some of the others said that it was perfect but didn’t know if you guys would like it as much…” you trail off and look at bakugou. he’s thankful that his mask covers up the movement of his eyes because he couldn’t have hated something more. the sickening colour of fuschia and pale pink messed with his feng shui more than he let on at this moment. if you were dunceface, he would’ve punched you up at this moment. heck, if you were pinky, he would’ve pulled on your ear and chastised you for not telling him first. if you were literally anybody else, you would’ve had an earful.
but you were you.
“i think it looks good,” bakugou hums and he nods before walking away to the elevators at the end of the vast room. you turn to see his moving body and you look at kirishima again in confusion.
“is he okay? are you sure he actually likes it?” you ask kirishima slowly and kirishima waves his hands at you.
“trust me, if he didn’t like it, he would’ve said something. you know bakugou doesn’t beat around the bush.” you smile in relief at that and kirishima quickly says bye to join bakugou in the closing lift.
“hey! wait up, bakugou!” kirishima makes the lift and is immediately welcomed by floating daisies and roses. bakugou stands staring straight out the doors of the elevator, not a lick of emotion on his face.
“so, uh, what was that?” asks kirishima after a lick of silence. bakugou scoffs, “i dunno what you’re talking about.”
kiri notices the tips of bakugou’s ears are red and he ponders on commenting on it before deciding he would prefer life.
“well, if i were you, i would get y/n a gift. but that’s just me though,” whistles the red haired man and bakugou’s eye twitches slightly and he rubs a hand across his face.
“fuck you and stop looking at me like that,” bakugou grumbles as kirishima nods with a knowing look on his face.
“…i heard through the grapevine that y/n really likes tulips and snapdragons - but you didn’t hear it from me!” mentions kirishima and as soon as those elevator doors open, bakugou storms out of there in a flurry, leaving his friend behind.
back in his office, bakugou sits at his desk and runs his fingers through the various decorations on his desk. it was the complete opposite of what his office usually looked like and to him, the runes of pink and red and white were ruining his feng shui. he picks up a card that’s situated on the edge of his desk and he doesn’t even have to open it to know it’s from you.
“dear ka bakugou,
i know the colours and the showiness might get too much for you so here’s a small gift from me before the day of festivities :) i.e. thank you for being a good sport!
love, y/n”
a gift card for his favourite watch brand sat in between the panels of the sickeningly glittery card.
when kirishima came to grab bakugou for lunch, he didn’t bring up the numerous tabs of florists and “gifts for girls you like” on the blond’s computer. and he definitely didn’t bring up the check of 135,000 yen addressed as “y/n’s gift” sitting amongst layers of paperwork.

Yandere mha x scarlet witch reader extras 2: The dare
Context: you and the girls were playing or dare at the sleepover it went terribly wrong..
Fun fact : this was inspired by a ramble idea me and @lady-ashfade came up with a while ago
•You and the girls decided to have a sleepover how fun but this time it was gonna be different tonight was truth or dare
•After everyone got ready and the snacks and stuff were here y'all decides to play
•The rounds of truth of dare were sane at 1st just ordinary questions like "I dare you to dance embarrassingly in front of everyone" "Or who do you like todoroki or bakugo?" (none of you answered that)
The girls were pressuring you to tell who you like which you didn't so they gave up with fake tears in their eyes
•The more you played truth and dare with them the more intense the dares were until you picked a dare
• "alright y/n truth or dare!" Mina said while giggling while the others stared at you, eagerly wondering what were you gonna choose "haven't picked dare in a while so dare" Mina giggled mischievously while you and the other girls were looking at her a bit nervous about what the dare was
•"I dare you to dress up like a dog and go out on the sidewalk acting like it!" minas smirk was wide now the others gasped and Momo protested "Thts crazy y/n isn't gon-" "I accept the dare" Momo and the girls gasped while mina was a bit surprised but kept her composer "heh..lets do it" "This is crazy Y/n sweetie you don't have to-" But you put your hand up "It'll be find momo it's just a prank I'm pretty sure nothing will go wrong" you reassured her momo and the others wanted to say anything but zipped their lips u decided to do it
•So Mina chose the dog onesie it was a cute little brown dog onesie with a bow on the head she gave to you to put on. Once you put it on you and the girls walked out mina and the others were in awe and cooking at you behind you when they got at the side walk the girls hid in the nearby bush across from you and snickered while Tsuyu quieted them down
•You got on your hands and knees and started to act like a dog barking, and crawling around tongue hanging out looking goofy the other girls laughed quietly you were showing off by shaking your tail and crawling around until a truck came by the girls quickly quieted down but still snickered women in uniform came out "Oh what a poor little puppy" the women said frowning up and looking down at you
• "Uh.. Woof?" you said confused about what she meant by that "Thats it im gonna take you to a nice lovely place come on puppy" She picked you up by the waist and began to take you to the back of the truck "Wait wait wait- H-Hold on now im, not a d-dog-" but your protest was deafened when the women threw you in the back of the truck and drove you away when the girls saw and panicked when they looked at the truck turns out it was a dog catcher and they were taking you to the pound once they realized it was too late the truck took you away..Oh god
•They ran back into the school seeing aizawa in his classroom grading papers they bust down the door and starts to talk at once and panicking
Aizawa: QUIET! What is the meaning of this why are you panicking talk ONE BY ONE
Mina: well you see we..
Ochako: WEWEREPLAYINGTRUTHORDAREANDMINADAREDY/NTODRESSUPLIKEADOGANDTHEYGOTTAKENBYADOGCATCHERANDNOWTHEYREBEINGTAKENTOTHEPOUND
Aizawa:...WHAT?!?
• Let's just say Aizawa was panicking as well he called the other teachers over and told you about your disappearance and now they're panicking too hawks were flying over and overheard the news and told the other pros like Mount Lady and Fatgum and now they're also looking for you too
•Class 1a boys found out about what the girls and as much as they wanna yell at them they were too busy trying to find you too the big 3 also heard about this mirio was Panicking going through each dog pound to see where you were calling out ur name neijire was pissed threatening each dog catcher staff to tell you were they and Tamaki is crying and determine to save you at the same time begging the staff to each dog pound to where you were everyone was stressing and the whole town is at chaos
Meanwhile
•"Aw what a cute little dog" A lovely couple in their early 20s came in looking for a dog and when they saw you they were in love and now they're petting you banging you and cooing u like a dog..you were getting annoyed but had an idea you stood up and said "and I can talk too!" the couple scream and quickly ran out saying demon dog demon dog all over again you laughed as you saw the couple running out with tears in their eyes and suddenly had an idea and smirk mischievously
• during your stay you scared 12 people at that night 4 of them were couples and one was a family of 4 and the little girl was a spoiled brat while the boy was rough kept pulling the onesies ears and kept pulling your tail you had enough and stood up the kids were shooking shivering seeing you stand you walked towards them by saying a simple boo and off the 2 kids went dashing down the halls behind their parents legs the parents apologized and took the scared kids home and while they weren't looking you gave the kids a evil smirk which made the crying all was good until you heard a familiar voice "I knew it was something chaotic going on in this store " it was shinsou
Y/n: Toshiiiii how you find me
Shinsou: eh I saw a couple screaming demon dog and I knew you were the cause of that
Y/n: you know me so well 🥺
Shinsou: Yea yea now let's get you of that dog costume and get you to Senpai he's not happy
Y/n: damn what the hell happen while I was out
Shinsou: well the teachers are running to every dog pound they see, the pro hero's we're running to every pet store to see if you were in there, and the big 3 are also looking for you as well, class 1a and shindo are posting millions of missing posters of ya and Mei is desperately trying to track you down with her devices
Y/n: wow..soooo your gonna take me out
Shinsou: Yep lets go before you start a war out there
Y/N: Hehe alright
The Aftermath:
•The teachers gave you a bigggg hug after that the pros are constantly asking you if someone did something to you while checking your body seeing if they're any scars or scratches
•Class 1a is relieved and decides to have a big sleepover in the common room and Sato makes a "glad you returning from being mistaken as a dog" cake for you while you and the bakusquad and the dekusquad are fighting about who gets to cuddle you 1st while the big 3 tries to drag you into their sleepover while they aren't looking
•Mina was ofc punished with detection (rip our girl 🫡)
•and everything is swell ig happy ending for all!

Anymore ‘Izuku with a different quirk’ scenarios?
Hmmmm…. yep.
For this one, he had a quirk that’s a mutation of his parents and is similar to one of his great-great grandparents. Like Mt. Lady, his quirk is gigantification, only he can grow to any size he wants rather than only one
Course, the drawback is a speedy metabolism, so he and Momo casually talk in between stuffing their faces
Also, BakuDeku because soft&feral!Katsuki getting carried by his giant boyfriend
Mt. Lady’s sort of been an inspiration for him since her debut when he was in junior high. She actually scared off a couple of his bullies once. And he inspired her to be a better hero and not for publicity and fame
Even with his quirk, he was still tormented because I refuse to give him a break, but Katsuki kept the assholes at bay and eventually became his boyfriend
While Izuku tolerated the bullying, he went ballistic if anyone talked badly about Katsuki. He may or may not have ripped a row of lockers off the wall and threw it at someone
Katsuki: *Blushing* Damn, I love that nerd.
The students of Class 1A never would have guessed that Katsuki was dating Izuku. It took most of them a few weeks to even figure it out. Momo, Kyoka, Fumikage, Mina, Mashiraou, Shouji, Tsuyu, and Shouto could quickly tell during the first week
His hero name is Atlas
*Choosing Hero Names*
Mashirao: Wasn’t Atlas a villain?
Izuku: People only think that because he was punished by Zeus, who is the worst person ever in Greek mythology. So, that ‘punishment’ was probably just Zeus being a jerk as usual.
Mashirao: … *Nods* Checks out.
Oh, and Neito’s got a thing for tall guys, so when Katsuki’s not around, that’s when he goes to make his move on Izuku, who assumes Neito is just being nice
His Yuuei uniform, gym uniform, and hero uniform are all made from his DNA so that they all grow with him
Whenever he sees Mineta leering at any female students, Izuku grows to his giant size and flicks him into one of the walls. No one bats an eye and Aizawa pretends he didn’t see anything
Mineta: Aizawa Sensei! Midoriya flicked me again!
Aizawa: *Sipping his coffee* Did someone hear something?
Mt. Lady immediately likes him when she sees him at the Sports Festival
When he’s up against Hitoshi, he just picks him up by the back of his gym uniform and moves him out of bounds, but he didn’t stand a chance against Shouto, who just trapped him in a giant ice block
Katsuki is prone to jealousy in case you can’t tell. When it’s not Neito, it’s his classmates ogling Izuku while he’s bench pressing a sixteen wheeler in Gym Gamma
Izuku: C’mere. *Picks Katsuki up* You know no one’s taking me away from you, right?
Katsuki: … Yeah. Just kiss me, nerd.
Bakusquad: Aaaww!
Katsuki: EVER HEARD OF PRIVACY?!

Grimbold of Grimslade HC
I decided on this a few years ago when the riders at the stables around here all had to wear masks for a time for obvious reasons. So some fierce ladies who looked something like this:
became my inspiration for Grimbold. An ask from @sillysistersusi this week reminded me, though, that I’ve never written this down anywhere. So…
Grimbold was kin to Théoden’s late wife, Elfhild, and lived on family lands in Grimslade. He had a rough go of it in early life because he was allergic to horses! It took a long time to figure out why he was always wheezing and struggling to breathe, and he wasn’t at all happy to find the answer. He felt ashamed, given the central role of horses in Rohan’s culture, and worried that he wouldn’t be seen as a true Rohirrim if he couldn’t ride.
Recognizing that he would never give up on horsemanship no matter what his challenges, his grandmother made him special gloves and a cloth mask to tie over his nose and mouth whenever he rode to try to reduce his exposure and ease his discomfort. That didn’t fully solve his problem - indeed, he lived his whole life unable to breathe all that well and with various other unpleasant symptoms – but it made things manageable enough that he could learn to ride and fight like anyone else. And when he grew up and turned out to be an extremely formidable warrior, the mask actually became like a calling card, something really distinctive and cool looking. Orcs and Dunlendings near the western borders all knew to fear the masked rider of Rohan.
Grimbold captained an éored that came under the supervision of Théodred as Second Marshal. The two spent a lot of time together and became very close friends on top of being cousins. Grimbold was deeply traumatized by watching Théodred get struck down in such a horrifying way at the Isen and then having to fight orcs for possession of his cousin’s body. He ran on adrenaline for the rest of the battle and managed to report for the muster of Rohan a few days later, but his trauma soon caught up with him and followed him on the road to Minas Tirith. He had trouble sleeping and was easily startled/panicked by little things around him. By the time they got to the Pelennor Fields, he was exhausted and on edge, but he rallied again with the support of Dúnhere and his other men who had seen that he was struggling. Grimbold led his company on the first charge, and he fought valiantly thereafter. Sadly, though, he was killed while taking down one of the Mûmakil. No one knows for sure, but people nearby believed he knowingly sacrificed himself in order to save everyone else in the Mûmak’s path.
The remaining men in the Grimslade éored all took to wearing masks in battle afterward as a tribute to Grimbold, and it became a signature part of their uniform. Many years later, long after anyone who knew Grimbold was gone, the éored still wore the masks and kept alive the memory of the man who would—and did—endure anything for his beloved Grimslade.

Mina x F Reader - “Brave”
This one might be a bit messy and boring because I literally can't write peacefully here in my home due to so many kinds of interruptions that disturb my imagination while I am writing, so I never had a free time to proofread this since it's a long one-shot plus most of what I put in the main setting of this story was just something I made up on my own.
I was targeting a deadline for me to publish this, which is today because tomorrow would be the start of our face-to-face class; and I'm afraid that I'll start becoming really busy from now on as a freshman. Thankfully, I finally finished this today but sadly like I said, there's no more time for me to edit and check everything I wrote.
Hope y'all still enjoy reading this despite of the errors and lack of additional research.
It was a fine usual morning at the Suganuma Village. Average heat from the sunlight radiating through the surfaces of the houses, stalls and the stone road that was being walked over by a bunch of people doing their own business.
Then there was you who belongs to these crowd of villagers, sitting in front of your wooden cart and under the roof connected near the end of the handle to lessen the heat you'll receive and avoid getting too much irritated and uncomfy at it.
Arranging your set of mangoes and papaya after some were taken out by the customer who bought those to you, another one appears and requested some apples to buy before she inserted it in her basket.
You thanked her nicely and looked around at the people crossing by back and forth when someone made your head stop moving.
Smiling at the sight, you pretended not to stare at the appearance of the young lady you saw; focusing back on your cart while other villagers stepped aside and paved the way as they watched her in awe.
Some continued to walk while you still tried to act oblivious not until you sensed that she's standing in front of you.
You heard the sound of an umbrella being closed. Looking at the source of it, there are two familiar people emerged in your eyes; a man wearing a blue chained and silver plated suit is beside an exceptionally beautiful woman wearing a costly casual school uniform.
"Hi, YN!", she greeted at you; showing off that adorable gummy smile with her little wave. The young man just nodded at you.
"A pleasant day, princess.", you grinned at her then smiled back with a nod also to her right hand man.
"These oranges looks so fresh and neat. Are these newly picked at the farm?", she asked you, holding an orange in her hand as she raised it.
"Yes. The farmers told me earlier, that's why I had to come here early to sell it."
"I'll take 5 of these, please."
"Will do, princess.", her right hand man helped her pick up those oranges to lend to you.
"Yah! You should stop it. I don't even know if you're being sincere or rather teasing me.", Mina said with a slightly sulking tone. You laughed while you're computing the total cost of the oranges mentally as you heard what she said.
"I am saying it with all respect, princess. I know you don't like me calling that if we are close together but mind you, we are in the middle of the public.", you said as you began wrapping the oranges while looking around at the surroundings. "Somebody might hear me addressing you without your rank and report it."
"Yeah, I know but still... I'm not used to it, especially that you're the only citizen here that I allow to call me by my name you know?"
"That will be 150 yen... Mina.", you whispered it to her; giving her ordered fruits in her hand while his right hand man just snorted at your plan B to avoid getting caught.
"I heard it, you're disrespecting the princess. I must have you reported and face your punishment.", he said while crossing his arms after you leaned back.
You glared and casted a weird look at him. "Nice try, Minho. I know you can't do that to me."
Mina nodded and smiled in agreement at you.
"Heh, sorry. I was just kidding.", Minho said. "The princess won't allow me that easy and ofcourse, I know you well now too YN."
"That's why I'm considering myself to be lucky enough to be friends with a royalty and a palace personnel.", you said, admiringly looking at the both of them.
"You deserve it, we knew you are a good person since I found you and he learned about you.", Mina said as she gave you her money as the payment.
"Thanks for the fresh oranges YN, I was going to make this as an orange juice for my lunch later in the class."
"Ohh okay.", you reacted. "Have fun learning in the school, Mina."
"And you too, I hope you sell much today as always.", she said. Minho placed all the oranges to the basket he's carrying.
"Hey! Before we go, can you meet me tomorrow beside the castle?", she requested. "It's going to be weekend, my homeworks are already done so can you join me somewhere?"
"Okay then, what time I'll meet you?"
"Around 1:30 in the afternoon, sounds good?"
"Got it. I'll see you there.", you nodded.
"Your highness, your class is about to start in 20 minutes.", Minho reminded him as he glanced upon the clock tower.
"Okay! We have to go back now, bye YN!"
"Have a nice day princess!", you bowed at her and she patted you in the shoulder while Minho also gestured at you before they made their way out of your sight, walking away from your stall; leaving you alone again and continued to wait for other customers to buy your fruits.
You and Mina are close friends. The two of you met when Mina saw you being surrounded by a group of young boys in the village teaming up to bully you.
It was unnoticeable at first until Mina saw the red flag that there's something wrong going on when one of the boys pushed you, sending your body falling into the ground.
The princess came on the rescue and the boys recognized her immediately, giving them chills around their body as the felt the intimidating power they might face once they try to mess up with the daughter of King Akira and Queen Mashina and the one and only child of the kingdom of Myouis.
So without further do after Mina warned them about hurting you again, they quickly apologized and ran off.
Mina offered you a hand as a support for you to stand back up and you accepted, although the shock in your face can be seen because you didn't expect that the princess herself would be the one to see you being bullied and helpless.
That made her to be shy in front of Mina who's checking up on her.
"Are you okay? Did they hurt you somewhere physically?", she asked you, gripping your right wrist as she stared at you whose trying to avoid her eyes in embarassment.
You didn't answer and Mina understood it. Having a rich and royal personality interacting with a normal young villager would be very sudden to take of.
She smiled knowledgeably and sighed before asking again. "Hey, don't be scared of me please. I literally just saved you from them."
"S-sorry it's just... I can't believe you're here p-princess.", you said, stuttering while looking away from her.
"I was about to go fishing at the river down there when I saw some laughing noises near me. I came here and I saw you here, didn't knew that it was from their teasing.", Mina explained.
"Answer me honestly. Do they bully you often?"
You gulped.
"Y-yes."
"And what do they use against you?"
"T-they said I should stop acting like a boy when in fact I'm a girl. I don't even know why I'm acting or moving like this, I can't help it. This has been within me since birth.", you said, even the way how you spoke to her has some mannerisms of how a boy speaks, especially your look. You have a short black hair almost similar to a normal male haircut.
"They added that I'm just trying to betray my responsibilities of being a villager and a woman in our society. They make me feel like I'm a disgrace in our family.", you said, lowering your head as you are emotionally affected at the painful words they shot at you.
Mina felt sorry for you and instantly cheered you up. She was in disbelief that they were still some other people around here who's ego and attitude is way worst than hers.
"Don't worry, next time they come here; you are free to tell me and I will send my guards to hunt them and send them the punishment they deserve.", Mina assured you, massaging your shoulder.
"You shouldn't mind them now. Whatever it makes you comfortable, don't let anyone prohibit you from it.", she advised and looked at you interestingly.
"Are you perhaps... not seeing yourself as one of us?"
"Beg your pardon, p-princess?", you asked her confusingly.
"A girl or a woman. A straight one specifically, like me. Tell me, if you do have a chance to wear this type of clothing like I'm wearing, would you... like it? Or just tell me by what you see in me, are you liking what you're seeing?"
You began tracing Mina from down to the top. It was going smooth, your eyes are focusingly processing if there was some interest or desire of you to wear these outfits someday but it got all blocked when you reached looking at her face.
Your heart just randomly began pounding rapidly and heat reached up into your face as your eyes matched her face. Her elegant, gorgeous face that you can confidently say that the gods took time to discuss what her look would be.
Because you aren't even sure and just figured out if she's too perfect to be in this world.
You brought down your gaze again as you caught the formation of her hypnotizing grin. That damn smile that you began liking to see over and over again since that day you met her.
"Well?"
"I c-can't make up my mind, yet. I still don't know.", you rubbed up your nape.
"I see. Maybe you're just troubled, and I'll give you time for that ofcourse.", she sweetly smiled and again; your body almost weakened.
"May I know your name?"
"Y-YN."
"Nice to meet you, YN.", she offered you her hand and you took it for a shake. "Stop crying now, this time you won't gonna be like this because I want us to be friends."
You stared at her shockingly, it was unreal for you to realize that the princess herself was even the one to offer an additional acknowledgement to you not only as your princess but now also as your own friend.
Correction: your ONLY friend.
You grew up not having anybody to treat like that because you grown as a very private, silent, shy and mostly helping your family to earn money and buy their needs.
Through the other youngsters like you, it didn't fail for you to wonder what could it feels like to have someone as your ally and close with you aside from your family.
As much as you want to try, your lack of skills on opening a conversation with other is pulling you.
But since you want to change, you want to take this as an opportunity now that you met a very special girl named Mina. You can't risk losing somebody already.
"F-friend?"
"Yes, I can be your friend. YN. Do you want me to be?"
"S-sure."
"If that so then, would you mind joining me on the river. Do you know how to catch fish?"
"N-no."
"Then come with me, I'll teach you how."
Shortly after, your friendship bond with Mina grew larger each days as both of you try to insert some free time for the two of you to have fun together.
-THE NEXT DAY-
Being true to the planned meetup, you waited beside the post near the castle where you finished eating your packed strawberries as you watched people across the village doing their miscellaneous things again.
Glancing at the left, you saw Mina and Minho exiting the castle with the royal guards saluting at them before transitioning back to their steady stances.
Mina found you first and walked right away just as when Minho saw you standing from a distance too.
"Let's go! This will be exciting!", she said enthusiastically as she raised her fists in the air. You looked at Minho if he knows any hint why Mina is this hyped up but you only got a shrug and a purse from her lower lip.
After walking for minutes and took some double turns around the village, you locate yourselves now surpassing from the houses and the people, reaching the open area of Twiceland where all you can see is green and yellowish leaves swaying along the wave of the wind.
Your curiosity arises as you step closer and closer to that end of the path that looks dimmer than everywhere around here.
Even Minho was knitting his eyebrows, clueless at what's going on.
"Princess, what are-"
"Minho, I think it's time for you to go.", Mina rotated her body around, facing her right hand man and stopping her on his way.
"B-but... with all due respect, princess; are you serious? The direction you're-"
"We'll be fine, Minho. I can take it from here with YN.", Mina assured him but still the hesitating Minho isn't done yet.
"You sure, princess? If the king and q-"
"They won't know unless you talk, right? And we both know you won't do it because... even from me, I can be angry at what you did and still... might do something bad about it.", Mina said, flashing her smile that seemed different from both you and Minho's perspective. It looks like she's warning her terrifyingly which is on Minho side; he won't dare not following Mina's request more because he know what the princess can be capable of; worse than her parents.
"Are we talking loud and clear, Minho?
"Okay, y-your highness. Please be safe whatever you two are up into.", Minho said worryingly. Even you are getting tensed now at the way Minho looked uncomfortable at the unpleasant possibilities that might occur.
"We will. Thanks for the concern, Minho. You can go now home and do whatever you want too."
"Thank you, your highness.", Minho bowed and looked at you one more time with a glare that telephatically tells you to guide the lady to safety which you aren't sure enough because both you and him are also scared of what's going on.
Although, still you are willing to do your best. Who knows, there might be a time that she'll need you for her protection and all you have to do is to take the responsibility of it as a friend.
Returning to the current situation, Minho walked away from you and Mina.
"Follow me and let's hurry, we can't stay there until nighttime.", Mina said as she continued walking again. You followed her puzzledly.
"Wait, Mina just... what are we going to do this time?"
"You'll see.", she smirked and proceeded her steps. You sighed in defeat despite the urge of you wanting to know about it right away.
You and Mina finally entered the gap of what it seems like a forest with all the types of trees scattered around the area. There are other who are old, young or even dead; branches were the only ones remained.
Your heartbeats are intensifying as you can't hear anything at the midst of silence except from the sounds of the footsteps you and Mina are creating.
"M-mina..."
"Hmm?"
"Can you tell me what are we going to do e-exactly? I don't mean to offend you b-but... I'm not liking this at all honestly.", you said as you fidget your fingers and body slightly shivering in fear as there was some dark spots around that you and her were just passing through it as if it was nothing.
Mina halted in her steps and so as you.
She saw your face weakened and almost colorless, she's definitely lying to herself if she won't admit that she was softened and felt awful of your frightened state.
She apologetically smiled and what she did next took you aback.
Your hand received a touch from her, grasping and locking it together with her fingers with her thumb rubbing the top of your palm gently.
All of the sudden, you stopped being uneasy.
"You shouldn't be scared at anything YN. Whether what you're doing is you have me there on your side or it's you doing it for me. All you have to do is be brave as you think about us, that's when you know that you'll get through everything.", Mina comforted you with her soft words. "We got each our backs, and we won't let anything that affects us dangerously, right?"
"Y-yeah."
"Then trust me, we're getting closer... and like I said, you're with me. I don't mean no harm at all if it's you, YN. I want you to be safe and happy.", she said before she read the map she's been holding on since you and her entered the forest.
But this time, she was holding it with one hand. The other is placed securingly in your hand, ensuring that you'll be fine because after all... it's Mina.
After a few more minutes of exploring, Mina stopped her tracks and rolled the map.
"We're here."
Mina side glanced at you before her head moved up, directing her eyes next above at the towering large old tree in front of you two.
You were amazed, but still you are confused because what's even special about this tree?
Here's Mina to the save with her information to share with you.
"You probably be wondering what are we doing here, YN.", Mina read your thoughts. "But, this tree has a myth that I read earlier back in my room that led me here in curiosity. And I'm glad that this still exists."
"What does it say?"
Mina opened her pouch and pulled out a pack of seeds inside along with a canister filled with water before closing her belonging again.
"The myth says that if you touch the tree and plant anything in this forest, most recommended if it's just inches away from here; you'll get to find out the right person for you as soon as the sprout of the seed you planted grew.", Mina said.
"How does it connects to the point though?"
"Repaying the love.", Mina simply replied. "As you plant something with respect to this mythical tree, some said that this is the guardian of the forest; that means you're asking permission for you to contribute taking care of the nature he's in charge with."
"So as you plant your seed here, if it grow that means it granted your wish and the only thing he can have in return as a reward is... to find that somebody meant for you that you'll receive the similar amount of love, growth and development that you willingly expressed for the nature.", she explained.
Your mind was left blown away by that logic. "Why, Mina? Are you interested on love these days?"
"I guess I am.", Mina smiled timidly. "I'm just curious if there's somebody who can ready to risk it all to let me know how much he or she loves me."
"He or she?", you furrowed your eyebrows.
"Yeah. I don't care if it's gonna be a man or another woman like me. All I need to be to be feel loved and feel special aside from what my parents gave to me."
As you remained speechless, you saw Mina stepped forward, narrowing her space between the tree.
What she mentioned piqued your curiosity to try it too. Never once crossed in your mind that you'll get to question yourself what is love and what can it bring to you.
You stood beside her and synchronically put your hands together at the rough surface of the tree, lasting for a few seconds before removing away.
"Join me plant these seeds, please."
Who are you not to oblige with the princess' pleads.
You helped Mina dug a hole in the ground and carefully placed the seeds there before covering it back with soil. To finish, you let Mina water it by herself.
"There, it's done!", Mina clapped in glee. "Now we should wait and see what's going to happened next."
"Is there any particular way that you want to encounter the right person for you?", you asked her.
Mina cupped her chin with her fingers as she thinks. "Hmm... I don't know but if I ever get to know his or her feelings to me and I had the same, I'll crush that person with a hug right away in gratitude."
"Good idea.", you agreed. Mina just giggled.
"Let's return now to the village. I believe it's starting to go dark also outside.", Mina then wore her pouch on her back and followed her as both of you walked your way in return.
"I just want to say sorry also for earlier."
"Why?"
"I should've told you already when you are already afraid, but I decided to keep it because I wanted to make the surprise worth anticipating.", Mina frowned.
"Next time, I won't do it again. If you want to, you can just leave me alone next time." That last words didn't suit you well so you retorted.
"Wait, no Mina. There's no need for that, okay?", you prevented her. "I am getting scared earlier but there was never an intention appeared in my mind that I would want to ran away and leave you here all by myself.
Minho gave me the task to keep you monitored and for my friend I have to do it. That's part of my role and my responsibility, Mina. I can't have your desire for adventures get ruined all because of my stubbornness and selfishness. If I see you happy at what you do, then might as well I'll join you too."
Mina's heart blossomed at your touching words of assurance. She can somehow feel relieved that it wasn't a big deal at all to you of what she did.
"Thanks, YN. You are such a great friend.", she ruffled your hair which elicited a laughter to you.
"Hehe, as I should be always for you, Mina.", you beamed.
As you stepped out of the forest together with her, a loud sound of a horn resonated around the village that was still audibly loud for both you and Mina to hear.
Both were also felt... alarmed because that sound only means one thing.
"An urgent announcement. What could it be?", Mina looked at you concerningly.
"Let's head back to the village. Now."
You ran along with Mina towards the village where you separated your way from her as you said goodbye and let her return to the castle when both saw Minho waiting for the princess outside.
On the other hand, you joined your parents who belongs to the crowd of people gathered in front of the castle where the spokesperson of the kingdom is seen standing with two royal guards on each of his side in the balcony.
"I demand a silence, everyone! Hear the message from the informant!", the general of the imperial forces shouted as he makes his arrival along with some of his men following him while forming a line.
The people listened quickly at the intimidating general. All looked above as the informant cleared his throat and watched everyone set their attention at him, prepared to learn the news he received earlier.
"As per the guards who are based on the entrance of our sacred land, they were sent a message through this scroll by a group of outsiders.",
The informant rolled and spreaded the scroll, revealing the contents for him to read.
"It says that the opposing kingdom of Thricehold led by Prince Reo wants all of us to be warned again by their impending attack to invade Twiceland. We assumed that they are taking their frustration of declining Prince Reo's proposal of courtship to the daughter of the Myoui clan, Princess Mina.
All of the villagers began whispering and blabbering at one another. Some were frantically anxious and worried about what could happen to all of them when chaos comes to victimize everyone it involves.
It also taken you aback as you learned that Mina is the main target and that could put her in grave danger once the outsiders became successful and manage to arrange her in a relationship with Prince Hiro which she never wanted to have.
It increased your nervousness about Mina's state of safety that all of your moments together with her ran back all over your mind.
"As we all may know, they've had many attempts to win this kingdom and none of them were successful, but that doesn't mean this could happen again this time.", the informant reminded.
"The message was now brought to King Akira and Queen Mashina. With the use of their power, they seek immediate action through a command to the imperial force to prepare theirselves according to the plan they have in mind.", the informant said, looking straight at the warriors below him who are seriously inspecting all the people present, including you and your family.
"General Shinsuke, your turn.", the informant told the heavily built looking man in a uniform amongst any men around here.
"We did came up with plan but we only had one problem, and that is we lost many fellow comrades from the previous battle.", General Shinsuke slightly went low on his voice as the regret and grieve still won't let go of him from what happened.
"Since we need many replacements, we are open for recruitments to let everyone participate and contribute to the survival and protection of our beloved kingdom of Twiceland.", the general declared; thus turning everyone to react in shock.
"We are expecting that the spots will get filled up tomorrow, as the training will start in time after the nunber of warriors gets completed. The camp is available tomorrow for anyone who wants to join us. Again, we are doing this for Twiceland and for the sake of survival; we ask for your help. Thank you."
The general and his men slowly disappeared as the crowd grew noisy with their reactions, thoughts and opinion at the current situation.
You remained silent as you are still processing everything you heard.
Everyone is placed in danger.
All of these would soon feel the wrath from the enemies desperately want to make everyone including you to bow down to them as they try to become the new rulers and expand their empire.
But your thoughts were focused more on your family and Mina, knowing that her simple rejection over the showcasing of love coming from that Prince Reo would soon spawn another heated tension between Twiceland and Thricehold.
Not wanting to let anything bad happen to them, you recalled again the invitation shared by the General to the people who are intently listening to them about the recruitment training program welcoming anyone who has the interest to stand up for Twiceland.
You and your family arrived home, deeply processing what they learned a while ago.
"I really hope nothing goes down unwell. Another battle is about to take place here in our village. We must stick and stay together, okay? In our family, everybody must be unharmed.", your father said, introducing another discussion only would get in between each other.
"We should just pray and keep ourselves strong and hopeful that this can end and be solved.", your mother said next, trapping your hands with her hold.
"Let's pack it up tomorrow and wait for f-"
"I'm joining the imperial forces."
All their eyes went glued on you with pure bewilderment, their eyebrows furrowed and mouth slightly agape in disbelief about what you just said interruptingly.
"W-wait, daughter..."
"What did you just said?"
"I... I...I'm entering the recruitment-"
"NO!", your mother almost pushed you hard away from her but composed herself instantly. "I'm not letting you there-"
"Mother, I don't have any choice. I have to help them! They are searching for more warriors and for me, I can't just allow how those outsiders are threatening us again. I have to help us from being spared.", you explained.
"That's the only thing I could prove my purpose of being one of the people here living in Twiceland, ma."
"Daughter, wait please.", your father stopped you. "I understand your intention of serving for the kingdom, but have you ever thinking about the sake of yourself? About... what might happen to us if you... oh god I can't say it.", he shook his head.
"We can't let it happen too, YN. We can't afford losing another child, please!", he begged as he kneeled in front of you; reminding you about the distress of losing their very first child and your late baby brother who died early due to illness.
"You can help through anything, YN but not this. Don't sacrifice yourself as if we can take losing you from us.", your mother gripped your hand tighter; urging you to change your mind.
You have utmost love and respect for your parents, following and granting their directions, guidelines and others but... this time it won't flinch or driven you to reconsider your decision.
That's because unlike before, you have another person outside of your family that you hold dearly in your heart.
It's not only about them anymore.
It's also about Mina.
"But mother, father... m-my friend... is important to me too. I have to do something to protect her on my own.", you said as your raised your head to glance at your parent's thoughtful expressions.
"F-friend?"
"When did you-"
"I know, I haven't had one... not until I met Mina."
Their eyes widened.
"Mina... Wait, Mina as is Princess Mina of the Myoui clan?!"
"You are friends with her?!"
You nodded and flashed a shy smile. "She saved me many times from the neighborhood youngsters who bullies me. She was like a light who helped me escape through my hard times of dealing all the hurtful words I get from them about who I really am."
"The more she helps me, the more I get motivated to do atleast one thing in return to everything she has done for me. I have to be the one to show how much I care for her this time, ma... pa.", you said as your eyes became teary.
"So please, I'm asking for your understanding again. Let me enter the training camp and participate on the battle."
Your mother and father looked at one another before they saw your gloomy mood and frowning emotion, realizing how much it troubles and takes a huge toll on you to know that your loved ones are going to face the terror that awaits for them on being a part of this place.
They sighed heavily and looked at you worriedly. "Daughter, are you really sure about this?"
"Yes, papa."
Your father nodded. "Alright, fine. If that's what you are fighting and hope for, all we can do is to support you."
Your eyes that were almost blinded with all the tears clogging your sight litted up in joy and appreciation, as your reasoning finally convinced your parents to unrestrict you from your decisions.
"We're expecting you to come back, daughter. Please, be safe out there okay? We will wait for you.", your mother pulled you to a hug as she sobbed in your shoulder.
Your father had his own tears falling too as he saw his wife crying in front of her comforting daughter about to sacrifice her whole life for the kingdom they are under in, for the community, for them as the parents and last but not the least... for your friend Mina.
"I'll shall return, ma. You have my words. Thank you again.", you sweared.
You seperated yourself away from your mother and went on to hug your father too.
"Goodluck, my daughter."
"Thank you father."
-THE NEXT DAY-
Early in the morning, you fell in line and applied at the executives about your interest on become a new recruit to be an addition to the army of warriors.
They accepted, however you caught that they must be looking at you in disdain and ridiculously; that a female villager would enter this such quite of a service to pay for.
Along with the othew new trainees, you had gone through a series of different training workouts and obstacles as part of the first preparation.
What sets you aside from them though is that you are the only female aspiring warrior out of every male ones, and that led you to suffer from discrimination; disliking gender equality.
Meanwhile, as you are doing your training in the camp; Mina went outside the castle and ran to visit your house where she was only greeted by your parents.
"Oh, princess! H-how can we help you, our lady?", your mother kneeled and bowed first before proceeded by your father as both with all due respect for the highness.
Mina was amazed and impressed however at the kind act of your parents, but it won't get her much longer as she still finds it cringe that she is being looked upon by many.
Once she steps out of the castle, all she ever wanted is to live a peaceful life and away to the life of being wealthy royal being; get portrayed as just a normal citizen of Twiceland also just like the rest of them.
Fortunately, it was only you who can be able to do that for her. Now she knows where did you get that deed from your parents.
"A-ahh... please, Mr. and Mrs. LN get up.", Mina said as she gestures for your parents to rise up.
"Uhm, is YN here?"
"Sorry princess but YN is currently having a training at the campsite.", your father said.
"W-wait... training?!", Mina raised her tone in surprise, scaring your parents at her intense reaction.
"Yes, your highness. She joined the recruitment to be one with the warriors against the army of outsiders.", your mother explained.
"Wait, you didn't know, princess? Didn't she told you?"
Mina hurriedly bids goodbye and ran ahead back into the castle, ignoring the following words by your father.
Later that night, you are on your way home from the campsite when you saw something that was quite unexpected for you.
It was Mina sitting on a bench beside the post from the entrance of the bridge crossing the port, holding her dog named Ray in her lap and caressing its fur.
You stopped in your steps and approached her.
"Mina! Why are here out at night alone?", you greeted her.
She drawn her gaze at you, stopping her strokes at her resting dog in her arms.
Only to receive a different greeting from her in return. Hers looked... unnerving and serious.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?"
"Why did you join the enlistment of warrior who will get released to face against the army of akgaes?", she specified. "Without even my knowledge too?!"
You gasped, face stretched and eyes wide open in utter shock as you were caught.
"H-how did you know?"
"I came to your house earlier but your parents answered my call, they said you weren't there because you are there at the training camp.", Mina explained. "Why do you have to do this? You know how dangerous it is!"
Her voice raised at you for the very first time and it didn't fail to terrify you at the sight of this angered Mina.
"I just want to help the others from protecting you and everything in this kingdom, Mina. I'm doing this for all of us."
"Do you really need to? YN, I don't want you to go out there and be it your cause of death!", Mina said. "You could've just leave it to the others, they are skilled and they know what they're doing. They can handle it theirselves!"
"They are and so am I!", you defended yourself, not allowing to let your intentions absorbed with blames and complaints anymore especially if what you believe in is for good.
You went closer to her and grasped her shoulders as you stared at her emotionally. "Mina, you have to let me be on this one. Please. Just... for once, I have to know that I have done one thing right with you as my only friend."
Mina stared back and explored your own shiny pair of eyes filled with sorrow.
"Is you staying by my side aren't enough for you, YN?", she muttered. Your hands loosened as she attempts to make you realize something missing from your own point.
"Is... everything that we did together aren't enough? Hmm?"
"Have you perhaps... thought that your existence was all we need for us to acknowledge it as one of the good things that came into our life?"
Your heart shattered as not only you made Mina angry for the first time..
... you even made her cry for you.
"YN... all I needed is for you to stay. And I have to say, I'm so disappointed at you that you're taking this as if you never mind how much it'll affect us if there's something happen to you at the battle."
Mina swayed some hair on your forehead and looked at you with her bitter smile.
"Do you know why?"
You looked at her intriguingly.
"I can't lose you, so as your parents."
She carried her dog Ray with her as she started to return back at the castle, leaving you alone as you contemplate with your thoughts about what Mina told you which were almost identical as what your parent's concerns for your rate of survival.
-2 DAYS LATER-
You are resting at the nursing room after the beating you got from you altercation with one of the male trainees who keeps on continuing to mock you for being a woman serving as a warrior knowing how more vulnerable and less useful you are compared to him as a man.
You can't contain the amount of belittling he gives to you, something snaps out of you that pushed you to attack him aggressively until the officers broke up the fight and led you both to the nursing room to have your wounds healed.
He's on the other room to avoid again a possible fight from you and him.
As you are staring at the ceiling, still replaying what you heard from Mina and your parents who are both afraid for what you're about to risk in the battle; you heard the door squeaked open.
You saw the person peeked to see you.
"Minho?"
"What happened?", he asked, referring to your treated wounds and bruises around your face and arm.
"Started a brawl.", you simply answered.
"You did? This isn't you, YN."
"Shut up.", you rolled your eyes at his teasing.
"I'm just kidding. Hurry and follow me."
You leaned your back away from the bed.
"Where are we going?"
"You're going to do me a favor on this. Now quick, you'll see but first...hide.", Minho opened the door a little bit wider; giving you a glimpse of a large wooden crate on top of his trolley.
"Go on! The nurse might be here anytime soon!"
You hurriedly opened the lid and carefully sat there as you lowered yourself by crouching down.
Minho helped you close the lid before he starts pushing the trolley in his control
Following the direction, the view you are seeing through the hole of the crate gave you an idea on where Minho is leading you at.
He opened the lid and there, the bright lights of chandelier, an expensive room filled with gigantic paintings and picture frames and a long stairway covered in red carpet welcomed your sight.
"Upstairs, go.", you stepped away at the crate then ran upstairs with Minho.
Reaching the second floor, Minho went in front of a door and faced you who figured out that the place you and him just entered was inside the castle.
"YN."
"M-Minho? Why d-did you bring me here? You know I can't trespass?!", you whisperedly shouted at him to avoid causing too much noise that might attract other people inside to hear and caught you.
"I know but you're now here so just get over it.", Minho scoffed and waved it off. "And about the favor I'm telling you, talk and fix it out together."
"Huh?"
"She wants to talk to you but... she can't, so I did the move instead. Now settle your problems together before the time runs out.",
Minho knocked at the door twice and it made you instantly nervous at how sudden it is to see her again after what happened to the both of you.
"Come in.", you heard her voice inside.
"She's not angry, don't be afraid. I won't bring you here on behalf of her if she doesn't want to talk to you.", Minho gestured at you to take the answer.
He stepped aside, letting you hold the doorknob and sighed at first before you opened the door wide; revealing yourself to Mina who looked at you shockingly.
"Y-YN?! H-how did you-"
You felt your back pushed by Minho, leading you inside the room which startled you.
"Talk it out. Now.", Minho immediately closed the door after, leaving both of you alone in her room.
It was very awkward. This is the first time you entered her room and shared the space together with her alone, knowing how you're definitely in trouble once somebody caught you trespass here and have you punished.
"Minho! Aish... he'll get a lot of scolding from me later.", Mina huffed in the air and shook her head.
You and her went silent for a moment until Mina who's actually the one who requested for a conversation with one another, took the move to start talking.
"D-did he sneakily let you in?"
"H-he did.", you nodded.
Mina sighed.
"He's right, I do want to talk with you but I didn't mean it to be here exactly.", Mina whined.
"But I think I understand his rush. It's already 10 in the evening, Mina. You aren't allowed to get out in this hour.", you said as you checked the time outside where the clocktower is visible.
"Is your training j-just finished?"
"Mmhmm."
Her forehead crumpled, nose crunched when she saw something distracting on you that she couldn't help but to ask.
Standing from her bed, she went closer and slightly ducked herself to match your height; cupping the side of your head gently as she traced the bandages with her slender fingertips.
"What happened to these?"
"You won't like it when I tell you."
"I don't care. I'm concerned and if it's caused by you then it's your fault."
"There. I had this because of me."
Mina then stared at you seriously and irritatingly, not liking the slow buildup you're doing.
You gulped, not wanting to trigger the princess more. "S-sorry. I- I got into a fight.", you lowered your head.
"Because?"
"One of the guys there... was an egoistic maniac. He keeps belittling and underestimating me, telling me that a warrior's job isn't suited for women like me and they said maybe I'm just trying to escape my responsibilities of serving the kingdom especially when I belong to a poor family.", you fakely smiled at her.
Mina got hurt at your story as a woman. Sure, she may not experienced it at all because she came from a royal family and all she gets was nothing but respect and power enough for anyone to treat her well; but there's what ifs sometimes that crosses her mind how judgmental and discriminating a society can be if women like her don't possess a valuable reputation like hers.
"You're lucky they didn't kicked you out of the camp."
"My side won.", you reasoned. "I don't know what are they going to do on him though."
"Don't mind him, he didn't even cared at your feelings when he said those harsh words at you.", Mina said. "You just lashed out because you can't let yourself take it all when you know that's a lie, YN. We all both know being a woman can do anything just like men, there's even a possibility we can't deny that we can be better than them.
We are also a human too and we have the rights to contribute in the society and in this kingdom in our own way. We are all just one, YN."
"I know, that's why I want to prove him wrong and anyone who heard what he's blabbering about that a woman like me can be a warrior, Mina."
Mina got quiet for a while before she looked and you with a timid smile.
"About last night... I'm sorry. My emotions took control over me that I started to think negatively only thinking that being in that battle would be only a death sentence to you YN.
I didn't looked at the bright side that maybe your inclusion to the army could be a huge assist enough to strengthen the force and defeat the invaders.
I understand that you are doing this for me and... since you said that you want to be the one to help me; all I have to do is to support and appreciate your consideration, YN."
After her apology, she lunged her body at yours to wrap you in a hug which you welcomely took in return while you blushed at the close contact.
"I forgive you, Mina. I knew you are just disappointed and infuriated that I kept this as a secret from you not even thinking whether you'll like it or not. I guess I do became selfish and arrogant but it's not that I completely disregarded you out of my mind, Mina.
If I do, then I won't be standing here with my training attire and face you knowing that I joined the enlistment to defend you.", you said to her which Mina completely understood it well.
"You only have 2 days before the battle, right?"
"I-I am.", you frowned at the realization. "Our day is free to spend it together with our loved ones before we engage."
Mina releases from your embrace and gripped your wrists. "Then let's go tomorrow. Let's do everything we want together. Pretend as if we aren't aware of the following day. Can I join you?", she said with oozing determination.
"Ofcourse you are, Mina.", you allowed her although she didn't even need to ask becase the answer would be still obvious anyway.
Both of you grinned at each other before you said goodbye to her and left the room, where Minho who is waiting outside; escorted you to leave the castle with a relief that you and Mina are both okay with each other now.
-2 DAYS LATER-
Every hour was spent properly, but at the end it'll still makes you feel it wasn't enough; especially if you knew that being with that special person would halt once the daylight comes as you're about to do something important and... risky.
As you had fun with Mina, visiting some food stalls, antique shops and clothing boutique around the village; you also gave time to finally introduce yourselves to your respective parents.
To yours, it was easily fine to you about the reception Mina would get from your parents. They are kindhearted and shows full respect for a Myoui and the princess of the kingdom that rules the land well, so they welcomed Mina with open arms.
Unlike on Mina's though, it gave you anxiety and panic that they won't accept you from being close to their daughter knowing that you are just nothing without a class and just an average villager only earning money from selling fruits on the streets.
But your wrong thoughts had you feel surreal when King Akira and Queen Mashina greeted and was impressed at how your friendship with their daughter was built and remained bound to each other as it gets stronger.
They didn't mind someone like you who might be not contrast to Mina's status, all that's important for them to know is that their daughter have finally someone to call as a friend since they reminded you of the fact that Mina isn't good at interacting and socializing that's why she has barely nothing close to her, not until she met you.
The royal couple learnt also that you are one of the warriors who'll be going to battle against the army of akgaes tomorrow. They wished you luck and send their prayers that you'll make it out there alive, which Mina didn't quite liked how it sounds because it worries her more.
Later that night, Mina who is making her homework noticed you sitting at the bed silently. She presumed that you are spacing out at how deep your stare at the unknown was.
She paused from her task and sat beside you.
"A penny for your thoughts, YN?", your senses reawakened when you heard Mina's soft voice near at you
"A-ahh... I'm just... confused.", you nervously chuckled.
"Why's that?"
"I- I actually don't know too. I don't know why I'm scared yet I'm prepared for what's about to go down tomorrow.", you said.
"My guess was that I literally don't have any idea what could be my fate there at the battleground once I charge along with my fellow warriors. No matter how I stay positive, the question still appears in my head. Maybe to keep me aware of it."
"But I must not get brought on with these fears distracting me, especially if what I'm about to do is for you Mina.", you looked at her who is still listening patiently.
"Mina, I entered the army to train myself to get unbothered by my fears too. I've been weak through all my life, not able to stand up on my own and have myself only rely with the help of others.
But now, I assure that things would go different this time. Nothing's going to hold me back if it means your safety Mina."
You reached for her hand and laid it on your thigh as you stacked it with your own hand, sending shivers to Mina at your sudden touch.
"Trust me when I say this, I'm the one who'll protect and save you now Mina.
I can't bear to lose you too.
I can't let it happen.
For once in my lifetime, I chose to be brave for my friend..."
You raised your hands clenched together.
"For my love..."
Mina's eyes widened in surprise at your confession and your new acknowledgment to her.
"For you, my Princess Mina."
You kneeled in front of her and kissed her hand sweetly. Mina blushed intensely at your heartwarming gesture.
She wants to speak at first but now that she found out about your secret feelings of admiration to her, she can't even tend to say anything about it now.
It was... surprising indeed.
She didn't know that you fell in love with you in the midst of your friendship with her.
And now, you took the opportunity to reveal to her the last reason out of everything on why you decided to think of her immediately after the announcement of incoming invasion to the kingdom that led you to join the army.
It was all for your undying and courageous love that grown onto you for her.
Observing that she has no comment at what you spilled to her, you nodded understandably and stood up in front of her.
"I know it's too sudden, but I have to do it. I might be running out of time now so I said it now to you just in case.", you smiled at Mina who is still looking away from you and instead staring at her hand that you kissed.
"You can tell me what you have to say about it before I go or not, it doesn't matter if you return the feelings I have for you or not, Mina. I am not expecting anything. What's important to me as of now is your safety along with the people of Twiceland. Goodnight, princess.", you said to her before you left her room and her castle, leaving her still lost in a trance as she processed and consumes everything that she heard from you.
She went into a deep slumber where her dreams were all filled and occupied with her memories she created with you and everything that you've done for her.
She was once lonely like you, but you found yourselves when your paths crossed; and all she felt was happiness and satisfication at your company.
And thus her heart was pouring with desire at how many more of these she would love to share with you in the future.
At the realization of that words, her eyes sprung open; hug tightened on the pillow with a gasp escaped in her mouth as she finally knows the answer she has in store for you.
-THE NEXT DAY-
The d-day has arrived. Prepared and all set to go, you bid goodbye to your family where you enveloped them in a group hug; not that you're taking this as if this is the last time you'll ever get to do this with them but to keep their hopes and spirits up that you'll still manage to return in one piece.
Just as when you released yourself to them, you heard your name got yelled by a voice that belongs to the another person you wanted to see for the last time to encourage and motivate yourself more.
"YN!!!"
You rotated your body, seeing Mina and Minho standing in front of the entrance way.
"Mina."
She ran hurriedly to you and gave you a hug as she began sobbing in your shoulder.
"B-be safe, please. I can't... live without you, YN. Come back.", she pleaded at you. You caressed her back to ease her emotions as you felt her body shaking from her chokes and tenseness in her cries.
"I love you too, YN. I'll be waiting for you, okay?! Promise me that we will see each other again."
You nodded and smiled at her. "You're the only one who cures me, Mina and one of the reasons why I should keep on breathing because... I can't live without you too. I'll do everything I can for us to win and return safe and sound in your arms again."
"You let me be who I am today. A friend, a warrior, and a lover.
I have to overcome this and be brave for you Mina."
Mina pulled your head into hers for an uplifting and encouraging kiss that inspired you more to win this battle alongside with your fellow warriors of Twiceland.
For the kingdom.
For the people.
For your family.
For Mina.
Your parents and Minho smiled at the wonderful sight.
"Goodluck to all of you, okay? You owe me a date.", Mina said as she looked at you while you wiped off her tears across her face.
"I'll remember that, Mina.", you kissed her again and hugged her one more time before you leave with her and Minho as you send your goodbyes again to your parents.
---------------
"ATTACK!!!!!!!!"
The commander blew the horn to signal everyone to charge at the enemy.
You ran along with your fellow warriors as you carry your signature bow and arrow weapon.
All of you paused and posed as you readied your arrow and placed it at your bow for it be pulled and released.
Shots were fired, creating a rain of arrows to decrease the number of warriors from the opposing army.
Some were successfully killed the others while the rest only suffered a wound as they nearly dodge it with the help of their fellow warrior blocking them with a shield.
They took the turn next, firing thousands of arrows straight to your side.
Thankfully, one of the warriors in the defense team protected you with his own shield too.
After the exchange of attacks from the archery teams of each sides, the rest who yields bladed weapons such as swords, machete and spears engaged at one another where they began slashing and killing the hell out at everyone who stands in their way.
It lasted for many hours. Series of chasing, submitting, punches, chops and shots using anything you can use to prevent the enemy from standing up were all performed.
The commander and the prince of Thricehold, Prince Reo confronted as the space around them is enough for the two to began a duel via sword fight.
Unfortunately, you witnessed General Shinsuke get slained by the prince with a massive stab of his sword straight to his heart.
"GENERALLL!!!!", you belong to the ones who screamed in agony at the sight of the death of your respected higher ranking personnel of the imperial forces of Twiceland.
"ELIMINATE ALL OF THEM SO THAT WE CAN TAKEOVER TWICELAND! LET THEM TASTE THE DEFEAT!", you heard Prince Reo shouted to his men before he proceeded killing other warriors.
You became agitated and enraged at the fact that your army is now gojng near at the brink of losing after the death of your commander.
Not letting the enemies to catch up, you began using your bow and picked up a spare spear on the ground that belongs to one of the dead warriors as you used these to kill the foes about to attack you one by one.
You butted someones head with the tip of your bow then smashed it aside with the length of your spear.
You spun around the spear in your hand and pointed it towards at the rest as they got hit with the speed of your weapon's movement in your possession before you threw it at an enemy, stabbing the long spear right on his stomach that made him cough blood and collapse on the ground.
You fired another couple of shots using your arrow, aiming it directly to their heads before your sight is clear enough to target the prince next.
Gripping the arrow, you released it from your hold... only to result as a fail when the prince catched the arrow with quick reaction time and pure instinct which completely surprised you.
He broke the arrow in his knees, snapping it in half.
"YOU!!!", he pointed at you with his menacing stare. "DIE!!!"
"NOT GONNA HAPPEN.", you and him charged at one another. To match his sword, you also grabbed one for you just in time to save yourself from being slashed; defending yourself with your own blade.
You gritted your teeth and used your pure strength to push back the force at him, spreading him apart from you.
"THE PROPHECY OF MYOUI DYNASTY'S DOOM IS UNSTOPPABLE! SURRENDER OR I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU BEFORE I TURN THIS LAND INTO A NEW EMPIRE WHERE I RULE, AND THEN... I WILL BE THE LAST KING AND HAVE PRINCESS MINA TO BE MY QUEEN!", he said as he yield his sword before pointing it at you warningly.
"IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER! YOU ARE THE ONES WHO WILL GO DOWN... AND MUCH BETTER, I CAN'T LET YOU HAVE THE PRINCESS!"
You shouted, posing at your own fighting stance.
He tilted his head annoyingly. Jaw clenched, teeth grinding, eyes flaring.
"DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE SPEAKING TO? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY WARRIORS I'VE KILLED WHO TRIED TO TAKE ME DOWN? HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO CONQUER THIS LAND?"
He removed his helmet and his gloves to help him widen the scape of his vision and to prevent his grip on his sword from becoming slippery and loosened.
"I AM A ROYAL PRINCE AND YOU!!! YOU ARE JUST A NOBODY!!!", he said before positioning his body with his own fighting stance.
"You know, I would rather be a nobody than to be slave under your reign.", you sighed and looked around your surrounding, imagining how nightmarish it would be if this sight of unruly and merciless killings occur in Twiceland if he ruled.
"But you're mistaken.
I WAS a nobody.
At this day, I am a fighter."
"RAAAAAGGGHHHHH!!!"
You and Prince Reo charged at one another, blades colliding, punches that either hit or miss and some dodges that sent one of you shamely landed on the ground.
Few a few minutes you and her would continue fighting one another to the death until Prince Reo got the opportunity to give you a critical damage by slashing your arm with his sword.
You hissed at the immense stinging pain of your open wound, blood flowing out from it.
Prince Reo grinned devilishly at the view before he tries to attack you again but you avoided and gave offense using only your right arm.
It didn't long as he overpowered you again by kicking you in the face and sliced your thigh that made you kneel on the ground in both exhaustion and dread.
Your eyes are starting to get blurry as Prince Reo takes his time to help his men kill some of your fellow warriors before he turns his attention back at you.
Suddenly, as his unclear figure gets closer at you; Mina's voice rang through your head again as you remembered the lines she told you weeks ago including some of your conversation with her regarding the decision of you voluntarily joining the enlistment for the battle of Twiceland.
"You shouldn't scared of anything, YN. Whether you have me there on your side or it's you doing it for me. All you have to do is to keep moving forward as you think about me, that's how you can get through everything."
"I can't live without you, YN."
"B-be safe, please. I can't... live with the thought of me without you, YN. Come back. I'll be waiting for you."
"I have to overcome and be brave for you, Mina."
That's it. Don't give up. Fight to the fullest.
Recharging your energy, her couraging voice that felt like calling you inside your head is effectively making you more motivated and determined to finish this once and for all to secure her safety and your people.
You coughed blood and groaned as you tried your best to lift your body back up, but you winced and shrieked at Prince Reo tugging your hair as he raised your head harshly.
"Kneel... and acknowledge your new king."
You didn't. You just made him fuming in anger more as you spitted your blood stained saliva right in his face.
"Fine. I'll just kill you and burn you along with your comrades, and no one will e-"
He never got to complete his words when you surprised him with a stab up to his neck with your dagger hidden in your pocket.
Losing his grip in your head, he crashed in the ground and slowly gets suffocated as he began losing his breathe.
You picked up your bow and your last remaining arrow, aiming at his heart before he passed away from the stab wound in his chest.
Your comrades as well as the remaining enemies saw the defeat of the prince, laying down lifelessly below you.
They had no other but to surrender not only theirselves but their weapons too.
The survived warriors of Twiceland erupted in victory as all of you successfully defended the throne of the Myouis in the kingdom of Twiceland.
You remained standing there as you watched your comrades with a small smile, feeling relieved that it's now over.
The people are safe.
Your family is safe.
The kingdom is safe.
She is safe.
----------
Mina was being comforted by her mother in her bedroom as she lays her head on the queen's lap while having her silky curly black hair stroked when suddenly they heard a loud cheering noises outside the castle.
"They're here.", Queen Mashina said.
Mina gets up and looked at her mother and the window before she hurriedly exited her room together with her mother.
They went downstairs and stood at the center of the castle.
The doors are open, bright sunny morning made everyone outside almost absolutely invisible.
But there was one figure who appeared that had Mina put a wide smile and vanish the heavy worries weighing her down deep inside.
It was you wearing your warrior suit stained with blood, your bow and arrows hanging behind your back, looking messy and abused but perfectly fine.
A smile crept up in your face as you saw Mina cried her tears of joy beside her mother.
"Go on, dear.", Queen Mashina permitted her daughter.
Mina didn't hesitated to ran towards you and trap you in a tight, longing hug.
"Y-you're back... thank God you're back."
"I can't leave my best girl, not when she owns me a date.", you whispered in her ear before you buried your face on the crook of her neck.
-3 DAYS LATER-
You took those precious time to rest your body after a cruel and gruesome battle you had against the deceased Prince Reo and his army who are currently locked up in jail to pay for their sins.
The parents also expressed their approval of their relationship, allowing you and Mina to be officially a couple.
Your bravery and success of slaying the evil prince was recognized, acknowledging her as the last woman standing which became an inspiration and reminder for everyone to finally respect women even more in your society, as well as for being the savior of the land that earned a celebratory occassion dedicated to you who is now referred by many as YN the Braveheart Archer.
Right now, the night is young and the people are having fun as well as your parents and the king and Queen theirselves talking and polishing their growing closeness with one another due to your relationship with Mina.
And ofcourse, not forgetting about the deal...
You took Mina to a date, seperating yourselves away from the crowd after entertaining them as you and her ate, talked and romantically danced together along with the song Mina chose at the place where you and her first met.
At last, my love has come along My lonely days are over And life is like a song
Ooh yeah, yeah At last, the skies above are blue My heart was wrapped up in clover The night I looked at you
I found a dream, that I could speak to A dream that I can call my own I found a thrill to rest my cheek to A thrill that I have never known
Ohh yeah yeah You smile You smile Oh and then the spell was cast And here we are in heaven For you are mine At last
(AN: The song is titled "At Last" by Etta James)
"The song is beautiful.", you said as you indulged the rhythm and the melody of the song while dancing along very slowly with Mina.
"Indeed it is. I'm glad that you are, because I do think the lyrics is pretty fitting for us.", Mina said as she pressed her cheek at your shoulder blade.
"Ever since I found you and I took you to that forest with my wish, I never thought that you are destined to be the one I'll fell in love with all along. It was truly like a spell that was casted in ourselves by that magical tree and now being with you as someone I can call as mine... it sure does feels like heaven."
"I love you, YN.", she softly said to you as she leaned away and stared at your shimmering eyes.
"I love you too, Mina. Without you, I'm not who I am today. Maybe if it wasn't for you, I will forever be weak, vulnerable and coward. Words can't describe how grateful I am." The two of you then kissed on the lips as the song that is now both your favorite couple song remained playing on the background while the moon illuminates and the stars sparkled in glee at the gorgeous scenario.
-1000 YEARS LATER-
In the midst of people roaming and admiring the historic displays around the museum, a woman is busily writing will her maximum speed in her notebook as she focusedly copied some detailed and key information imprinted on the poster.
After she finished, she looked again on the museum brochure that shows her the map of the entire place, hopefully to assist her locating the next station she has to transfer next where the other history topic that is part of her friend's research project is placed.
She tried to follow its direction but the stress is slowly being visible in her expression, this time she's unable to understand the content and the luck gave up on her at this point.
She looked around for somebody to ask but something in her is holding her back.
"Are you okay, miss?"
She looked at the owner of the voice who approached her. It was a woman with hair tied on a ponytail, camera hanging from her neck, blue long sleeved polo as the upper garment, fitted jeans for the lower, white sneakers and those pair of glass that makes her look attractingly handsome and cool type of a woman.
"U-uhh, yes.", her shyness took control of her that activated those stutters. She gulped when the latter raised her eyebrows, probably doubting her answer.
"I-I mean... yeah, no actually."
"I don't mean to stalk you but you've rotating your body around as if you're lost so I came up with the idea to atleast... know your problem?", she said.
"I-I don't understand the direction the map is telling me to g-go through this station.", the research girl said.
"Want me to help you?"
"S-sure, I appreciate the help. I kind of getting lost now anyway."
Both of them smiled at each other. "Can I have the map, please?"
The research girl gave it to the stranger.
"Ah. Follow me."
They began to walk together.
"I noticed, you aren't good with interacting to people aren't you?"
"E-eh?"
"I'll take it as a lucky guess.", the stranger smirked. "But no means of making you uncomfortable okay? I understand if you are. Perhaps you're an introvert."
"Y-yeah."
"Sadly, we're not alike. I'm more of an extro but hey, I make sure people gets invested also on conversing with me.", she said proudly. The research girl can't believe how charismatic and free this woman beside her.
"So... what's your purpose of visiting this museum?", she asked, trying to prove herself.
"I-I'm helping my friend on her research. H-he can't do it by herself. He's currently in hospital."
"Oh, what happened?"
"Extreme illness. But he's recovering."
"Well that's good to hear. What's his name?" "Minho." “Get well soon to your friend.”
“Thanks.”, she smiled and bowed gratefully. "How about y-you?"
"As you can see, I have my baby here with me.", the stranger said; patting her camera; treating it as a valuable item. "I'm a photographer who also creates blogs. My subject this week is about history so... I choose something here that interests me.", she shrugged.
"Oh, we're here!", she said as she saw the sign that points at the room inside where the next station is located.
Both of them entered and wandered their eyes around at the wax figurines, artifacts, antique clothings and many more that are displayed on every corner.
"Woah, historical periods of Japan? Dynasty Myoui and the legend of YN the Braveheart Archer?", the photographer said in awe as she reads what's written in the poster.
"Hey, you kinda look like her.", the photographer said as she pointed at the image of a woman. "Are you perhaps related to Queen Mina Myoui of Twiceland?"
"N-no, but I d-do get a lot of recognition with my face sometimes.", she said, shaking her head. Her eyes squinted as she back and forths her sight at the photographer and the image of the one and only legendary archer beside the princess on the poster.
"You even look identical to YN too.", she shared which received with a laughter from the photographer that astounded her.
"Really?", she looked again at the image and grinned. "Who knows, maybe we are connected to them? Ancestors, probably?", she pursed her lower lip and shrugged.
After that, she began reading aloud the information mentioned which Mina followed and listened at her.
"... they fell in love, married and adopted their only son as they ruled the kingdom of Twiceland. YN the Braveheart Archer became the first ever woman who sat in the throne as the King of Twiceland alongside her wife and soon proclaimed 7th Queen of Twiceland, Mina of Myoui Dynasty..."
As she finished reading the description, the two weren't aware that right as they turned their head aside, their eyes got each other hooked in a stare, silently traced each other's facial features.
It was then interrupted by a song from Coldplay titled "Life in Technicolor ii" that played in the speaker that echoed around the museum to set an appopriate mood to make the environment cozy and entertaining.
"U-uhh... hey, I... haven't got to introduce myself, right?", the photographer said, breaking the silence and the eye contact that made the research girl glanced away with a tint of blush also in her cheek.
"I'm Y/EN. Nice to meet you.", the photographer lend her free hand.
The shy girl looked at it before she accepted the handshake gesture for a kind welcome.
"I'm Sharon. Nice to meet you too.", she flashed her gummy smile.
They released each other's hand as they felt strange feeling in their hearts at the firm touch they shared.
"Hey, do you want to get featured on my blog? Don't worry, I'll mention once I posted it. As a return, I can help you with your friend's project.", Y/EN suggested.
"Sure, I don't mind.", Sharon nodded which made Y/EN smile.
Afterwards, they focused back on learning history through assisting one another as both constructed closeness between them while Sharon gets to slowly improve her confidence and build her bravery in Y/EN's company.

After getting in a few minutes of heavily interrupted sleep throughout the night, I only realized Denki's alarm was going off after he started to stir, aimlessly patting behind him to try and hit his alarm clock. He slowly sat up a bit to properly shut off his alarm before burying his face back into my stomach. I went to move my hand from his hair, just for him to grab my hand and move it back to his hair.
"My love, we have to get up. If we don't then my Dad will absolutely come in here again." I felt him groan, holding me just a little tighter before he sat up a bit.
"But you're so comfortable and warm." He whined, pouting as he looked at me.
"I'm glad. But I'd rather have my boyfriend alive." I told him, cupping his face gently. He leaned into my touch and gave me a sleepy smile before he started looking concerned.
"You didn't sleep last night?" He asked gently, his eyes filling with concern.
"Couldn't really sleep." I told him quietly, feeling slightly ashamed admitting it.
"Maybe tonight you'll get more sleep." He hummed and went to lay back down but I tapped his cheek with my thumb.
"Baby, we have to get up." I reiterated. He sighed but agreed, slowly getting up and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
I slowly sat up too, soon after leaving his room to get my hearing aids and get changed into my uniform. On the way down to the commons, I crossed paths with Hitoshi and Izuku in the elevator.
Hey, you okay after last night?
I'm doing better. Did you sleep at all?
I'm not gonna answer that.
"Dad's gonna kill you." Hitoshi snorted but he still looked concerned.
"I'll live." I brushed off, gravitating to the coffee immediately.
"Tsukababes?" Mina chimed in, looking at me in dismay. "You didn't sleep?" She asked softly, concern ever present in her expression.
"I got a little bit of sleep. I'll be fine. Promise." I tried to brush off, knowing there was a small chance of her letting it go. She sighed but gave me a tight hug.
With a to-go cup of coffee and holding my boyfriends hand, we made it to class on time. Narrowly avoiding Iida lecturing us to get there as soon as possible.
"Tsukare! Don't think I forgot you!" Iida announced as he came back in. "I see those dark circles! Have you been getting enough sleep?"
"Hundred percent." I responded sarcastically, walking Izuku walk in nervously. "Hey, Zuku! Over here!" I called him over, hoping to get him away from Aoyama and it thankfully worked.
Class dragged by, I sat mostly still inattentive and mostly trying to stay awake.
"Woah, look at this. Mount Lady teamed up with Edgeshot! And Kamui Woods!" Denki exclaimed between classes while we all grabbed our hero costume cases, showing me his phone excitedly.
"Woah, really? I wonder what for." I responded.
"I think they're going by 'Team Lurkers'. I saw it mentioned in the news earlier." Jirou commented.
"There sure are a bunch of heroes teaming up these days." Denki said excitedly.
"Once we're pros, we should do some team-ups too!" Mina exclaimed. "Here's an idea!" She turned to Uraraka as they started walking out.
I reached up and grabbed my suit from the wall, waiting for my brother and Denki to grab theirs. I fidgeted with my hearing aids and after some debate, opted to take them out, a migraine hitting me like a brick wall.
Hey, you don't look so good.
I'm gonna be sick. I barely got out before walking over to the trash can and upchucking the bit of toast I had this morning.
I felt someone start rubbing my back and I could tell from the touch alone it was my boyfriend. I held my head in my hands as the pain started to travel, I haven't had one hit me this hard and this fast in a while. After a moment, I felt my brother start rubbing my back and helping me move, probably telling everyone he was taking me to Recovery Girl.
We walked the familiar path, I was barely coherent enough to properly walk with the pain radiating in my skull. I was soon placed on the cot, a few muffled voices talking around me but even that was excruciating and nauseating.
Migraine. Puked everything up, no gradual start. One of the worst ones I've had in a while. Pains an 8.
I managed to sign with my shaky hands. A cool, wet cloth was placed on my forehead and over my eyes, instantly relieving some of my pain. I let out a sigh of relief and held my head.
Thank you.
I sat there for about twenty minutes before I felt Chiyo tap my hand, placing something in a wrapper, presumably a granola bar, in my palm. Hesitantly, I ate it, knowing if I wanted to take my migraine meds, I would need something in my system. Another ten minutes of precautionary waiting while nursing a water bottle. My pain dropping down to maybe a 7 while I deprived half of my senses. Then I felt her place the medicine in my hand, I quickly took the pills that I knew were white and oblong.
Then the true waiting game started.
How long these would take to kick in.
I let my shoulders slowly relax, uncaring about whoever might come in. It was a moment of peace and quite, the pain being the only thing tethering me to the earth. I didn't know how much time had passed before I peaked through the cloth long enough to find a bin, thankfully she sat one within arms reach of me, to once again, let the contents of my stomach escape. She came over and rubbed my back gently before taking the bowl.
A few more minutes ticked by and I felt someone tapping my hand before gingerly lifting the cloth off my eyes. The blinds were drawn shut and all of the lights were off, making it mildly tolerable in comparison to how I felt in the classroom. Dad sat beside me, looking at me with heavy concern.
I love you, but you look like shit.
Feel like it too.
I was talking to the old lady. She thinks that with everything that's been going on and the lack of sleep you've been getting triggered it to be substantially worse and not give you any warnings.
I figured that was why. It's been a while since I've thrown up from one of these or it got to be this bad. Usually I'm pretty good with a preemptive strike to get rid of them.
You usually are. However this isn't the usual.
I know. I'm worried. I swallowed the lump in my throat and tried to figure out a way to take all of the heat off myself but still get my point across. I'm not doing as okay as I thought I would be. But I'm also worried about you and Pops and Toshi. I can see how much stuff is effecting each of you. And we all have our own stuff going on too.
We'll talk more about it later when you're not coming down from a migraine.
Okay.
You didn't sleep last night.
I couldn't sleep. Just wasn't able to.
Make sure you try and get a few hours in tonight.
I'll try.
He nodded and ruffled my hair, flipping the cloth over to the cool side after a moment and just sat with me.
Dad?
Yes, Onryo?
I'm scared.
How come?
I'm not doing okay. If it's bad enough that I can admit it, somethings wrong.
It means you've reached your breaking point and you know you need help.
That scares me.
I sat up a bit when I saw movement in the corner of my eye, Yoru walking in sheepishly.
"Hey, kiddo. How ya feeling?" He asked as he made his way over.
"Getting better. What are you doing here? Did we have ultimate move stuff today?" I asked softly, the reverberation of my own voice felt painful. However it still wasn't as bad as earlier.
"Yeah. I was talking to your Dad. We figured that me and you could do some one on one training in the TDL with him to supervise." He offered and I nodded.
"Yeah. That sounds good." I mumbled, staving off the nausea resonating in my core. "Do you think Hitoshi can join us? Give you more of a challenge?"
"Sure. Let me know when you want to meet there for training, kid." I nodded and shut my eyes, slowly laying my head back again. Dad stayed with me for a little bit longer before going back to the class.
It took almost three hours for it to subside, but I was more relieved than anything that it didn't last longer like some of them. My brother met up with me at Recovery Girls office, bringing me a spare change of clothes to train in and texted Yoru for me. I stuffed my uniform in my bag, now adorning a black tank top and grey sweats and walking with my brother to the TDL. Denki joining us to watch, claiming that he wanted to see me spar since he hasn't in a while.
"You kids ready?" Yoru asked cockily and I nodded. "What are we working on today?"
"I want to work on my control with my capture weapon." Hitoshi said, making Yoru raise an eyebrow.
"Well as you know, we're supposed to be working on Ultimate Moves." He tried to push and I could see the irk mark forming on Toshi's forehead.
"I don't have one. I didn't work on any today either. I don't want to be a limelight hero, I'm going for underground. Like our Dad. They don't have ultimate moves that they call out." He responded.
"Fine. Yeah, work on control. I'm sure you could use it." Yoru said in a condescending, drawled out tone. My brother raised an eyebrow in defiance and sent out his capture weapon before the hero could react, having him trapped in his spot and firmly secured before he could think. "Shit, you sure are Eraser's kid. Got the same look on your face and everything." He sighed as he tried to squirm out of the cloth bindings while Denki stifled his chuckles from beside our Dad. "Okay, I yield, you can let me go now." The cloth suddenly fell limp and Hitoshi brought it back. "You're almost on Eraser's level with that thing. Okay then, Onryo, why do you want to work on today?"
"I want to work on using my Pin Point Accuracy without my glasses, in case anything happens where they might break or I can't use them." I said plainly, still recovering from the migraine.
"Sounds like a plan. I'll give you some vines since Cementoss isn't here to build you any walls." I nodded and got myself ready. He sent out a few vines and I found the spot, mumbling the name of the move under my breath. I cut the vine in half, but I was off by about two yards, a crack forming in the ground. "Damn. Seems like you picked up in it quick." I shook my head and crouched down.
"No. I was off about two yards from where I was aiming." I muttered, glaring at the dismembered vine.
"It's your first time really trying without your glasses. It's gonna take time." I sighed but nodded, knowing Yoru was right.
He sent out another string of vines, the two of us repeating the process for nearly forty minutes before I got frustrated and sat down.
"Why can't I get it?" I angrily mumbled at the ground. I've done this dozens of time in training, why couldn't I get it now.
"You have a mental block. If it gets any worse, you'll end up stunting how you use it altogether." I heard Dad say from across the gym. "Don't tell me you don't. I know you do. I've been able to see it for a few days now. We need to stop it before it gets worse. Break that wall in your path." I let out a huff of air and brought myself back into a crouch.
"Imagine it's like a sword making contact. You know your aim, you know where it'll land on the path it's swinging." Yoru suggested and I mulled it over, clearly getting lost in my head.
"Onryo." I heard Dad say firmly and I looked up to meet his eye. "Find a way to stop this block. What do you need to do?" I ran a hand through my dampened curls and thought on it.
"Yoru, hand to hand with quirks randomly thrown in." I finally said, feeling like I was at a last stitch effort.
"Fine by me." He said with a smirk. I stood up fully and stepped closer to him, waiting for him to make the first move.
He led with a kick that I easily rolled under, catching him off guard when I grabbed his ankle and brought him down. He rolled to the side and got back up, sending a punch my way. I blocked, ducking and weaving while still sending out blows. We each landed a few hits here and there, most of the time we dodged and blocked.
"Your Dad taught you well." He stated casually.
"I know." I replied, not allowing myself to get distracted. I sent a punch, knowing fully well he would catch it and he did. I took the distraction I made to send a kick to his side, watching him sputter.
"What? Showing off for blondie?" He asked through a wheezed breath.
"Not at all." I said before he went to send another hit. We went back and forth again for a few minutes until he tried to pull the same move on me. I caught his fist in my hand, and then his leg, pinning it to my side. I meticulously slid my foot behind his planted one and kicked back on his heel, pushing his hand backwards at the same time to make him fall. "That was showing off." I breathed out, watching as he coughed harshly.
"Again." I heard Dad say from across the gym. "You didn't use any quirks, go again." I pinched the bridge of my nose and nodded, as frustrated as I was, I knew why he was doing this and I would thank him later.
So we sparred. We sparred eleven times. Only once out of those did I use my quirk briefly while Yoru used his plenty. Then it happened. That magical movie-esque moment. I was in the air, Yoru taking advantage over a moment and flinging me up with a vine. I originally planned to come down with a kick, until my window of opportunity struck. He was sending a vine straight up at me and I clearly said the name of my move, taking Yoru's advice with the sword analogy and watched as the vine split almost exactly where I intended, only a few inches off. I landed in a small crouch, rolling forward to lessen the blow of the fall and straight into his ankles. He fell back and tapped the ground twice before letting his limbs flop.
"Dad! I did it!" I exclaimed, Toshi running over and giving me a hug.
"Shit, I haven't gone hand to hand like that in a while, you're out here making me look like a rookie, squirt." Yoru said. I laughed off his comment and walked over to him, reaching out a hand and pulling him up. "And where the fuck did these muscles come from? You're a teenager."
"A teenager in a superhuman society with pro heroes for parents." I shot back.
"I'm wiped out after that." He grumbled. "Hey, I'll see you next week, right?" I groaned dramatically and flung my head back.
"Yeah. And I have a surprise for you." I told him, watching him grow very confused very fast.
"It's your birthday. Shouldn't you be the one getting a surprise?"
"Trust me. You'll like this surprise." I told him. He shrugged his shoulders but nodded. He gave me an awkward side hug before leaving and I flopped onto my brother. "Hey, Toshi. I never got to ask you, but why were you giving him the evil eye during dinner a while back...?" My words trailed off as a certain rock caught my attention. "Dad?" I asked in a whisper as I slowly walked closer to the words written in french, engraved into a rock.
"Onryo? What's the matter?" He asked and I slowly sat down.
We need to talk alone. Maybe get Nedzu in here too.
"I need to have a word with Onryo, alone." He said firmly, waiting for Hitoshi and Denki to leave before crouching next to me. "Onryo?" He asked again.
"Call Nedzu." I mumbled, staring at the words in shock.
"What does it say?" Nedzu asked gently, staring at the rock beside me, Dad on my other side.
"Il faut se méfier de l'eau qui dort." I read off the rock. "Beware the water that sleeps or there is no worse water than sleeping water. Layman's terms, still waters may run deep." I said, swallowing the lump in my throat. "This isn't good." I whispered.
"It's a good thing you know french." Dad commented but I shook my head.
"Aoyama wrote this. He's the only other one in the class that knows the language. Or would be able to engrave it in a rock." I licked my lips nervously. "So much for sleeping tonight. It's a warning."
"A warning?" Dad asked.
"Yeah, it basically means it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for, a wolf in sheep's clothing situation." I confirmed. "That's the old meaning, at least. It's a proverb stemming from Latin, now it's usually used for something about placidity hiding a passionate or subtle nature. It used to refer to something else though, can't remember what exactly." I explained. "I'm worried."
"Understandably so. But try not to dwell on it." Nedzu told me. "We're on top of this and will look into why he wrote this." I nodded slightly but still stared at the words, racking my brain for what the old meaning was. "Tsukare. Don't stress yourself over it. We'll figure this out."
"I'm trying to remember what it was. Like, specifically. The synopsis was a warning. Similar to sleep with one eye open, know your enemy, everyone is a suspect no matter how they appear type thing. I just, I can't remember what it was commonly referenced to." Dad looked at me confused for a minute.
"You never fail to surprise me, but when did you learn about that?" He asked as he turned back to the french engraving.
"Sometime in junior high when I was learning french and spanish. Had a mental block on them for a few weeks, so I figured if I studied stuff about latin since it's the base language, it'd come easier. Didn't work, but read some cool stuff." I mumbled almost inaudibly, racking my brain for what the hell I had read.
"You're going to give yourself an aneurysm if you keep stressing over it." Dad stated in his typical dry sarcasm. I rolled my eyes but stared at it with just as much intensity. "You're not sitting here all night." He told me with no room for argument. "Go back to the dorms and get changed, you're staying the night with your Pops and I."
"I hate to come off as nosy, but is everything alright, Shouta?" Nedzu asked and I chuckled under my breath.
"No disrespect, but you loving being nosy. You have an intelligence quirk, it's what you live for." I told him. "I didn't sleep last night, so he probably wants me to stay the night so I actually sleep and he can erase my quirk if I have another nightmare where I wake up screaming."
"You'd be right." Dad confirmed and I nodded. "So go get changed." I groaned and stood up, taking my time to get back to the dorms.
"Tsukababes! Oh em gee!!" I rolled my eyes and checked my phone as I felt it buzz.
From Pikachu <;3: You look hot in grey sweats
I felt my face light up a bright red and I shoved my phone in my pocket.
"I-I'm gonna go change." I stumbled over my words, earning a few giggles from Mina and a smirk from my boyfriend. My brother looked confused and I saw Aoyama trying to give Izuku more cheese.
I rushed around my room haphazardly as I changed into a baggy long sleeve and a pair of basketball shorts. I tossed my hearing aids on the charger and grabbed my laptop, putting it in its case before heading back downstairs. I set it on one of the tables and wrapped my arms around my boyfriends waist while he was brushing his teeth in the commons. He leaned back into me and tapped on my wrist, pointing towards Mina.
"Tsukababes! What happened to your leg?!" I could hear the very faint mumbling of her yell, clearly shocked. I followed her gaze down to my calf and realized what scar she was talking about.
"That's when Tsukare was a total badass during the licensing exams and ran a lady out of a collapsing building." Jirou added, coming up behind Mina and resting her forearms on her shoulders.
Izu. What happened?
We talked everything out and we're friends now! He said that he could realize my body wasn't made for my quirk, and he's just like me with his. His body doesn't have the right constitution for it either and he said he wanted to comfort me and let me know I wasn't alone.
I looked at Aoyama, analyzing him. I didn't trust him.
Hey, what happened?
Something's off about him.
Well, yeah, he's Aoyama. He sparkles, like, literally.
Not that, it's something else. I don't trust him.
Do you want me to not be friends with him?
I'm not saying that, you can be friends with whoever you'd like. I'm just saying my truth on it, I don't trust him.
Izuku nodded and Denki tapped my arm again. I dropped my arms and watched him walk to the bathroom before coming back without a tooth brush.
"Everything okay? Your Dad kinda rushed us out of there." He asked as he got closer to me.
"Yeah. Yeah, he uh, wanted to talk to me about my grades. He was worried that they're going to start slipping because of everything." My stomach churned as I lied through my teeth to him. He looked at me in dismay and I felt even worse. "I'm sleeping at my parents tonight, my Dad is basically forcing me to. But I'll text you, okay?" He nodded a little and looked sad. I gently cupped his face and pressed my lips to his, hoping to convey my sincerity and trust through a small action.
"Okay." He mumbled and pressed another kiss to my lips. I grabbed my laptop and saw my brother fake gagging in the corner before following me out the door.
To Pikachu <;3: I'm sorry for lying, I just didn't want our friends to interrogate me if I said what actually happened or if I said I'll tell you later
From Pikachu <;3: You had me really worried for a minute, it's not like you to lie :(
From Pikachu <;3: So what did your Dad want to talk to you about?
To Pikachu <;3: Denki, I trust you so much, and the reason I'm not telling you isn't because I don't trust you or anything like that
To Pikachu <;3: It's just that, right now, I have no idea whether or not I'm even allowed to talk about it
To Pikachu <;3: I pinky promise, I trust you, I just need time to get back to you with an answer because it's in such a weird grey area that I don't know how much I can say
From Pikachu <;3: I trust you, too, so you can get back to me on it whenever you can
From Pikachu <;3: I see why you didn't say something else though, Mina would've pestered you until the end of time
To Pikachu <;3: Exactly
I tucked my phone away and took off my shoes after walking through the door to my parents place, my brother hot on my trail.
"Can someone please fill me in on what happened earlier? Because now I'm even more fucking confused." My brother said immediately, clearly frustrated as he signed messily.
"Woah, back it up, what happened?" Pops asked calmly, trying his hardest to be the voice of reason.
"I don't know, first Onryo short circuited after training, then Dad sent me and Kaminari out of the TDL, Onryo told Izuku he doesn't trust Aoyama and then I watched him lie to Kaminari!" He said, clearly exasperated.
"Okay, let's sit down in the living room while we wait for your Dad. Sleepy head's getting out of the shower." Pops said soothingly, resting his hands on Toshi's biceps. My brother plopped his head on his chest and let out a full body sigh. "But why did you lie to Kaminari? Is something wrong?" Pops asked while looking at me.
"Because I didn't know how much I was allowed to tell him or anyone so I said Dad wanted to talk to me cause he was concerned about my grades slipping after everything that's happened and I didn't wanna say I would talk about it later cause I knew Mina would be relentless about asking what happened and I know it comes from a place of love but I didn't want to have her trying to figure it out." I explained, my words rushed and coming out in one breath. "I already texted Denki apologizing and explained that I can't talk about it right now cause I don't know how much I can even say and explained my reasoning and he said he understood and he doesn't fault me for how I handled it."
"Wow, I gotta say I'm not used to my teenagers acting like teenagers. So this is new and refreshing. You probably did the right thing, not the lying part, but communicating to him why you did." I nodded and plopped my head on Hitoshi's back.

Chikan for Mina Ashido from Izuku Midoriya of all people, but it looks like he's not himself right now.
Mina Ashido was doing a little dance as she stood in a crowded train, listening to some music as she waits for her destination. Just out of UA, but still wearing the uniform as she didn't want to wait any longer to buy some new clothes.
As she danced with what little room she could, her panties flashing to the people sitting down in front of her, she feels a hand placed on her thigh and trailing up.
"Hey Perv-IZUKU!" She shouts as she was turned her head to call out the pervert touching her. Only to see her classmate and hero in training Izuku Midoriya!
People turn and stare for a second, but go back to what they were doing. Mina lets out a nervous laugh then glares at Izuku, whispering harshly, "Izuku what are you doing?! I know I got ass, but that doesn't mean you can just grope me like in a hentai!"
As she spoke, Izuku ignore her and kept trailing his hand up and down her thigh to her ass, giving it some soft gropes. A tick mark appeared on her head and was about to shout "Pervert," but notices Izuku's eyes are glazed. Like he wasn't really there.
"Hey Izuku did something happen~" She moaned a bit at the end, the glazed eye Izuku now firmly groping her ass, rubbing his grown bulge against her soft huge cheeks. Biting her lip she tries to think of how to stop the green haired classmate. She couldn't really attack him with how little space they had and the people around them didn't seem to care what was happening. A few were watching, but nothing more.
Then she felt a finger pull her panties aside and poke and prod her pussy. Mina let out a gasp feeling the intrusion, then gasping slightly higher feeling another finger start playing with her pussy.
"Fuck! I knew this Pinky's pussy would feel great." Said Izuku, but with a slightly distorted voice. Before she could question the voice change, he begins to finger her. "Oh~!" She lets out having never felt with her pussy played in such a way. Whoever was controlling him knew how to finger a lady. He kept the finger up, but she soon felt his other hand placed under a tit. The hand trails up her tit down her stomach. That hand then goes down and pulls up her skirt, while the people sitting watch on hungrily. He then goes for her clit, soon causing Mina to let out a loud orgasm.
Panting as she grabs onto the people next to her to keep herself up. She couldn't believe that Izuku of all people would not only molest her, but also make her orgasm. While, yes, it's clearly not him right now, but they were using his body.
"AH~" She shouts, feeling a penis push into her cunt. Her breasts bouncing out of her shirt, as the buttons have come loosed, most likely when he was groping her tit. Her pinky delicious jugs jiggling in front of the people, with many now watching her rape go down. The mind controlled Izuku, with some room now as some people have stepped away to let them fuck, grips her forearms, holding her as he pounds into her pink pussy! He thrusts, thrusts, and thrusts, the sounds of his dick entering, his hips meeting her ass resounding throughout the train car.
Mina could only start moaning, having a hard time to think with how forceful Izuku's thrusts are. Her eyes glazed in pleasure as Izuku growls, "Cumming!" After cumming out he can, Izuku's glazed look soon disappears. Blinking several times, he looks around only to find Mina Ashida laying on the ground of a train!
"Eh!? M-mina! What!" He questions and stutters out confused and horrified at his pink classmate laying down, ass up with cum dripping out of her pussy.

"OH COME ON!"
an irritated growl rumbles in bakugou's throat as the screech reaches his ears, much too tired to have to deal with someone screaming at ten in the morning. he swiftly turns around and glares threateningly at the culprit as he begins to slowly pull his shirt off, and is met with an equally frustrated and flustered mineta who points at his face with a crooked finger.
" 'the hell are you screamin' for?" he seethes as he finally tears his undershirt off his arms and throws it into the locker behind him. the night before already drained everything out of him, he didn't have the patience nor the energy to deal with this bullshit.
"how is it that bakugou of all people gets laid before i do!" the idiot seems to be talking to kaminari right beside him, and for a moment bakugou ponders what the hell he's talking about, but once the sting of the cold locker room air drags itself against the red scratch marks littering the upper muscles of his shoulders, he realizes just what he's screaming about.
he then also realizes that maybe dressing in the bathroom would have been a better idea. still, he rolls his eyes and begins to pull out his gym uniform, choosing to ignore the now plenty surprised gazes of everyone else in the locker room.
"man, didn't see you as the type to fuck before marriage," kaminari snickers, walking towards him from his spot on the bench to get a closer look, "jesus dude, these are deep! the hell did you do to her that she had to scratch at you like an animal?"
"shut your fuckin' mouth." bakugou growls, snapping his head to look back at his curious classmate with a seering -near murderous- glare that takes kaminari aback, yelping.
kirishima, sensing the growing tension, steps in between the two blondes and pats his friend on the shoulder.
"relax dude, he's just playing around! now, y'gonna tell us who the lucky lady is?"
"more like unlucky," grumbles mineta.
another red glare is sent towards the direction of the perpetrator, and bakugou's just about to blowing him halfway across the locker room when a glimpse of his scratches in the mirror sends him hurling into memories of last night; your kiss swollen lips against his, the choked whimpers you let out in attempt to keep quiet, and the oh so euphoric feeling of your nails dragging against his upper back as your hips clashed together unceremoniously.
it's enough to calm him back down, and as he finishes pulling on the top of his uniform, he shrugs kirishima's hand off his shoulder with a, "none of your damn business," and slumps away.
he avoids any other conversation or curious gawks by looking at the floor as he drags his way into the training field, and he can't help but smirk slyly to himself at the thought of the other girls squealing in delight at the sight of your chest covered in bites and red blooming bruises, or the damn near tattooed imprint of his palms on your hips.
as he reaches the field, he attempts to wipe said grin off his face with his sleeve, but ultimately fails as he meets your flustered gaze and your pink haired best friend's dropped jaw in realization as to who left you looking like that.
he tilts his chin up in greeting to you and your face heats up in response at the way mina screams once it hits her, and he thinks that maybe..
maybe this was a good start to his morning.

Katsuki calls you when he leaves work every day.
When you started dating him that was the deal. He risks his life constantly; there’s no assurance ever that he’ll return home to you. So even now, years after the tradition began, now that the pair of you wear matching rings on your fingers and the bed he stumbles into each night is the very one you occupy, he still calls.
It’s never anything substantial. Sometimes it’s quick, barely a minute long, a quiet greeting and a simple home soon before he hangs up to change out of his uniform. Sometimes you stay on the phone for an hour; talking about your days as you both commute, planning dinner, discussing your upcoming visit to his parents over the weekend. More often than not it’s at 5:00 almost to the minute—he scarcely likes to dawdle, preferring instead to end the work day and have dinner with you regularly—and you typically know ahead of time when he’ll be working late.
Of course, there is a downside. On the rare (very rare) occasions when you don’t get that call, it makes you panic.
He calls you a dumbass every time, rolls his eyes and scoffs, yet he always holds you tighter afterwards. There is always food in his hands when he opens the door, shoved into yours in silent apology. You always catch him as he’s drifting off, pressing a kiss to the nape of your neck and promising that he’ll always come home safe.
You’re certain that’s what will happen tonight when you don’t get your call at five.
You’re still pretty certain he’s okay at 5:30. You text him a photo of the meal you’ve made, the two place settings, with a caption telling him not to let it go cold.
By the time 8:00 rolls around you’re worried. That’s bedtime—he’d never voluntarily miss it. Yet you assure yourself by turning on the news, aware that if pro hero Dynamight had fallen to a villain or been crushed by a collapsing building it would be talked about and nothing of note was being said. He typically told you when he was going out on more secretive missions, too; not directly, but subtly. He’d implied nothing of the sort today. He’d likely just been dragged out to some bar by his high school friends, the only people able to do it. He’ll come stomping through the door at midnight smelling like booze but stone sober, and you’ll shove him into the shower and sit on the sink while he bitches about Denki and Mina and Hanta with affection in his voice. Yeah, that’s it.
9:00
10:00
11:00.
You’re still in your work clothes, you realize, yet it’s far too late now to change. The lights are off in the living room save for the multicolored display of the television, which you keep on out of a sinking feeling that any moment your fears will be confirmed. An image is ingrained in your mind: his body, broken and bloody. Lifeless.
You wonder what villain could have taken down Katsuki. You think they’d have to be terrifyingly strong to even stand a chance, and still have to play dirty to win. Maybe they’d looked like someone he knew—Izuku or Eijiro, or maybe even you. He’d have gotten a shock from that, a villain strong enough to harm him would have only needed that chance. Or perhaps it had been a building, perhaps he’d charged in after hearing an old lady calling for help. Foolhardy heroics had always been Deku’s thing yet your husband could get caught up in it at times. You blame their shared mentor. All Might had more than enough to spare.
Katsuki would chide you for staying up so late, especially on a work night. He’d take one look at the clock on the wall and bark at you to go to bed, never mind that he could be dying in an alleyway or bleeding out on some rooftop. He’d drag you to the bathroom to wash your face. You wish he were here to do it. Your conjured version isn’t persuasive enough.
But then you get a call. It’s 1:34 in the morning. You’re on the couch, curled up in the corner with the cat pressed into your side and a blanket thrown over your legs, staring sightlessly at the news half dozing off. Your phone is on the coffee table in front of you, and it startles you awake when it buzzes.
You lunge for it, too relieved upon seeing the contact on the screen to care about the sound of your cat scrambling off into some safe corner of the apartment. It’s Katsuki. His name is like a beacon of hope as you press accept, as tears spring to your eyes and your thumb shakes just barely. You can already hear his gruff voice calling you a dumbass for being so worked up, the offended tone as he asks you if you have any faith in him at all.
Except it’s not Katsuki on the other side of the line, not this time.
It’s Deku.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a rainy afternoon at the café where Y/N sat with her two friends, Mina and Jayoon. The two of them sat across Y/N, talking to each other about fashion trends and sharing funny TikToks. Y/N then looked out the window and observed the people walking by.
A group of three friends, all wearing skinny jeans and a matching t-shirt with different colors, almost like a uniform.
A couple, the girl holding and umbrella and the guy with his hand around her tiny waist.
Two model-like ladies, strutting down the street with their boots from the newest fall collection.
“I feel like you would rock this,” said Mina, pointing her phone towards Y/N. “Y/N?”
Y/N snapped out of her thoughts and quickly leaned in. “Yeah?” She glanced back at Mina. “Nah, she’s killing that outfit because she’s got the body for it.”
“Still,” Mina leaned back to her seat as she retracted her hand, “it’s totally your style.”
Jayoon nodded approvingly as she sipped on her almost-empty cup of latte. The three of them continued their conversation for another hour as they all waited for the rain to stop.
---
When Y/N arrived home, she felt irritated. She wasn’t sure if it was because of the long hours she spent just scrolling Twitter and reading comments on articles about her boyfriend’s group, or if it was because of the amount of dessert she ate that made her have an upset stomach.
She walked to the kitchen and towards the calendar on the fridge. It was not even the time for PMS, so she wondered what could have been the trigger for her mood swings. Deciding to brush it off, Y/N made herself a cup of tea and walked over to her desk to get some work done while she waited for her boyfriend to come home.
Hours later, she found herself slumped over her desk, her glasses put aside and her laptop halfway closed. She noticed her phone blinking, an incoming call from Jay.
“Hi,” she answered, her voice croaked. “Sorry, I just woke up.”
“Be there in 2 minutes, babe,” said Jay.
Y/N glanced to the window and only then she noticed it had gotten dark.
Not even a minute later, she heard a knock on the door. As she walked to open it, Jay playfully knocked again a thousand times faster.
“My God, I’m coming!” Y/N shouted.
As the door swung open, Jay lunged himself into his girlfriend’s embrace, making them both sway side to side.
“Finally, I get to smell you,” he said as he inhaled into Y/N’s hair. Y/N chuckled.
“So nice to see you too,” Y/N closed the door behind her as she watched Jay take off his jacket and throw it on the sofa. He then rolled up the sleeves on his shirt and looked around the kitchen.
“Did you eat?” he asked.
Y/N shook her head. “Not hungry.”
“Really?” Jay stood there and checked the time on his watch. “I ate an hour ago but I’m already hungry again.”
“There’s snacks in the cabinet if you want,” Y/N said softly. She then walked towards the laptop and saw her browser open on the Twitter page. Instantly, she felt irritated.
Jay settled for a yoghurt and popped a bottle open as he walked towards the sofa.
“Are you sure you’re not going to eat? I can cook for you.”
“I said I’m not hungry, Jay.”
Jay cocks his head. “Are you alright?” His voice started to sound concerned.
Without answering, Y/N stormed off to her room, almost slamming the door shut. Jay saw that her behaviour seemed unusual, so he sat there for a while contemplating how to handle it.
Soon after, Jay decided to knock on Y/N’s bedroom door. It was already open, so his movement actually pushed the door open. He saw Y/N standing in front of the mirror, her brows furrowed, wearing just pyjama pants and a bra. Her hands were placed around her waist, like she was hugging herself, but when Jay saw her she immediately walked away from the mirror.
“Y/N, are you okay?” Jay did not know how else phrase his question. He was genuinely concerned.
Y/N quickly put on the black t-shirt that was already on the bed. “I don’t want to talk.”
Her response alarmed Jay, so he reacted by sitting on the bed and grabbing Y/N’s wrist. “Talk to me anyway.”
Y/N looked at Jay’s hand around her wrist before she pulled her hand away. “I’ll just sleep it off.”
Having none of this, Jay clicked his tongue and stood up. “Fine, but don’t blame me later saying that I’m not there to listen.”
Y/N flinched at the change in Jay’s tone. And with that, Jay walked out of the bedroom, leaving the door open. Y/N lied on her bed for what felt like hours before Jay came back into her room. Her tears that fell sideways to her pillow were almost dry.
“I’m sorry for raising my voice,” Jay said as he knelt down beside the bed, facing Y/N. “If you want to talk I’ll be here. If you don’t, I’ll be here anyway.”
“I don’t fit into my old jeans anymore,” said Y/N, sniffling.
Jay paused for a second. “That’s what this is?”
Y/N frowned and quickly sat up, wiping away her tears. “See? I know you won’t understand.”
Jay was mildly confused because it was literally the first time Y/N had talked about her weight. She had always seemed like a confident one, never worrying about trivial things like physical appearance, so seeing her act like this made Jay flustered and slightly upset.
“I go out and see all the other girls looking flawless. Slender. Slim. Younger. Smaller. And I’m here just… getting older.”
Conversations about their age gap had come up before, but this was the first time that it had bothered Y/N. Jay chose to listen.
Y/N walked over to her vanity and put on her glasses. She caught her reflection in the mirror.
“I just don’t understand right now.”
“About what?” asked Jay, in a tone as soft as he could manage.
“How you’re here with me instead of someone else. Someone your age.”
Y/N said the last part of her sentence almost with disgust. Jay sighed as he put his face into the palms of his hand. He was aware that nothing he said would ease Y/N’s mind, so he had to find another way.
Jay stood up and walked towards Y/N. He made her face him and gently cupped her face, closing in the distance between them by taking her lips in his. Y/N felt another tear drop down her face.
“You’re beautiful,” said Jay, almost in a whisper, “let me show you.”
Jay continued to leave kisses on Y/N’s face, peppering her on her forehead, her cheeks, her nose, and her chin before he went back to her lips. Y/N brought her arms around Jay’s neck, and Jay continued his trail of kisses down her chin and to her collarbone. As his kisses started getting wet and sloppy, Y/N sighed and ran her fingers through his hair. Jay circled back to Y/N’s lips and he pulled her closer to him, even though there was literally no space left between them.
Pulling away, Y/N showed a hard time catching her breath, and Jay felt bad. He then maneuvered Y/N to make her face the standing mirror by her wardrobe, so that both of them are looking at their reflections. Jay stood behind Y/N, his eyes never leaving Y/N’s through the reflection as he gently tugged Y/N’s shirt over her body. He kissed her shoulders and rubbed her arms gently, making sure she wasn’t feeling the slightest bit of cold.
“You’re beautiful.”
This time Jay whispered his words right into Y/N’s ear, and she closed her eyes. He carefully took off her bra, and before Y/N could bring her hands up to cover her breasts, Jay’s hands arrived first, cupping them and giving a gentle squeeze. Y/N laid her head back on Jay’s shoulder, and he kissed her tenderly on the cheek.
“Open your eyes for me. Please?”
Y/N did as he said, but not looking at her reflection. She turned to the side and saw Jay’s eyes staring back at her. She leaned in for a kiss, and he whispered once again into her mouth.
“Beautiful.”
Jay placed his fingers on Y/N’s chin and made her look at herself in the mirror. Meanwhile, his other hand was already traveling downwards, grazing her belly, and tugging on her pyjama pants. Y/N brought one hand up, setting it behind Jay’s neck, and her other hand guided him down. She gasped as soon as she felt Jay’s cold fingers graze her clit. The grip of her hand around his neck tightened, and Jay responded with a kiss to her shoulder.
He continued to finger her, alternating between digits, and once in a while whispering in her ear again how beautiful she was. Y/N started to squirm, and her breath became hitched. Jay took this as a sign to speed up.
“Jay,” Y/N sighed between her breath. “Don’t stop.”
Moments later, she came on his fingers as they still stood in the same position. Jay brought his right hand down to give her a squeeze around her waist, telling her she did a good job. He brought his left hand towards his mouth and licked his fingers clean, still looking at Y/N.
“My beautiful, beautiful Y/N,” said Jay as Y/N turned to face him. “Don’t let anyone, or anything, make you think otherwise.”
Y/N pulled Jay’s face down to kiss him deeply, hoping her gratitude could be delivered through her lips. Jay smiled into the kiss and tightened his grip around the waist of his beautiful girlfriend.
Yabdere Class 1a with aizawa x reader genderswap M/n pov
"Why is the universe always trying to punish me," you thought to yourself while lying on the hospital bed "1st I had to deal with my overbearing classmates now some portal just spawned out of nowhere while I was sleeping and sucked me in" you slowly got up to see a tall male with dark greedy hair he looked like a hobo honestly but strangely he had the same uniform as your other teacher back home
"State your name and quirk," the man said in a monotone voice "Wow not even a are u ok?.." you thought but had to answer his question "My name is m/n l/n my quirk is *Insert quirk* also do you know how to get back at my universe..?" you asked the seemingly male version of your teacher "We don't know yet we're trying to catch the villain who's responsible for this so for now you're gonna be here with me and my classmates until further notice" you signed still processing the information he gave you but wanting to suck it up cause panicking and freaking out won't really do anything
He gave you your uniform and as you traveled down the hallway you were getting various about what this version of his classmates thought of him will they be as overbearing and clingy as they are you didn't even wanna think about the number of times your cheeks have been pinched by the girls and how the boys would try to impress you it all started as a fun little competition turning into a whole ass blood bath which worries you as much as you cared for them they can be a little overbearing at times
You walked into the classroom everyone was in shocked and whispering at eachother
"Is that really y/n?!"
"that isn't y/n Is it..?"
"Could it be an imposter"
"of course, Aizawa isn't that stupid to let a villain in here right..?"
The whispers were quickly hushed by Aizawa's voice "Class? M/n is gonna be staying with us until we can catch the villain and bring them both back to their dimension so yes this is y/n but in another dimension" Aizawa explained while the class had a mixed of shock and suspicion is it really you?
Time skip to lunch time
You were looking for a spot for lunch until you saw a pink hand waving you saw a pink-haired girl with pink skin looking exactly like Minako's you assumed this was his gender and decided to come and sit with them "It was an awkward silence once you sat at the table until mina spoke up "Are you y/n in a different universe?!" mina said with a wide grinned waiting for you to answer "Mina isn't that a little rude.." a red-haired boy you can assumed was the another version of your Kirishima "no no it's fine I can understand why she's asking that and yes I am I guess one thing I was sleeping peacefully on my bed the next thing im here" you laughed nervously trying to make this less awkward "But how do we know it's you.." "Hmmm OH I KNOW!" you reached into your pocket and got a picture of you and your classmates you handed it him and he snatched it rude
"
Bakugo examined the picture closely looking at all of the pictures Kirishima, sero, and Denki wanted to see as well and was shocked there are versions of them gender-bend versions! "now you believe me..?" the squad stared at you for a minute and mina suddenly gave you a big hug "eeeek It's really is you!" mina squealed obviously very happy to see that you aren't an imposter "Jeez y/- I mean m/n I didn't expect for you to be this muscular" Kirishima said while poking at your muscles
You blushed at that comment but shook it off
Once Mina told everyone else that you weren't an imposter they started to be more friendly izuku even wanted you to ask his questions you tried your best to answer them but by the days go they started becoming a bit too friendly...The girls were all. over you crowding around you asking questions some are even blushing while asking the questions while that was happening mineta glared at the boy who was getting crowded by girls and tsked "why is it always the new students that gets the ladies"
The class on the other hand was teaming up against each other just to hang out with you every Friday the bakusquad boys would invite you to have a boy's night out at the arcade and to compete while the dekusquad boys wanted to invite you to play bowling or to the carnival tokoyami , shoji, Ojiro, sato and Koda wanted to hang out at the outside mall to do fun actives while the girls argued that you wanted to do a fun fashion sleepover night
At training you would feel a bunch of eyes staring at your body heck even at your presence in general
Whenever you wanted to go somewhere your classmates insisted they wanted to go with you because they wanted to protect you if you declined they'd try to guilt trip you into taking them and if u still declined then they'll be a bit sad but understand
They'll never let you go they already have a plan for keeping you in their universe and once their y/n gets back home they'll have two darlings to play with~
You thought it would be the perfect opportunity to work at the most well-known country club in the state, but really the only thing your job brought you was perpetual cold to your hands and feet, and entangled your simple life with one of the youngest and richest bachelors at your university.
The only place on top of Mt. Carla is the Augusta Country Club, and it is a sight to see by the regular people who gaze up at it from the city below, like mortals looking up into the Gods’ chamber. The first time you went up the mountain for your job interview at the club, you got lost and were almost late. Thankfully, you didn’t crash your car on the winding roads, and got the job as well.
The Augusta Country Club is equipped with the largest and most expensive golf course in the region, but also has Michilin approved restaurants and the finest saunas and gym equipment any CEO could ask for. Those are usually the type of people that have club memberships: CEO’s, congress men and women, top-notch lawyers, and maybe the odd business owner that made it big enough to afford the price tag.
When you took up the job as a caddie, you had an idea of what you were getting yourself into. You’ve only been working for a month, but there are already a few regular golf players that prefer you as their caddie, which in your book is a success considering the type of high profile people that come to relax here.
However, today is different.
You can sense it when Kara and Mina, your coworkers who have been working here for a year longer than you, walk towards you and your friend, Lia, before your shift today. Mina has a small stack of info cards in her hands and they both hold smug smiles on their faces. The info cards have everything a caddie needs to know about who they’ll be working for that shift, and by the looks of it, today’s game will have a good match up.
“I’m going to be Mr. Huang’s son’s caddie. Don’t even fight me on this, you know I’ll win.” Kara states boldly as the two girls stop in front of you, snatching an info card out of Mina’s hand when she holds them up like she’s playing a card game, flashing the photos and names on the cards at you.
“I call dibs on Mr. Lee’s son.” Mina hums, not even bothering to keep up the act that they just want to be good caddies. “You two can have the old men.” She smiles tightly, shoving the other two info cards into Lia’s grasp and turning on her heel to walk away with Kara.
Considering you don’t even know what they’re talking about, you have no right to be mad at them. There is more confusion clouding your mind than anger at their rudeness. However, Lia does not share the same sentiment.
“I’ll shove these info cards up their-” Lia fumes, her volume rising as the sentence went on, and you quickly pulled her out of ear shot, around a corner by the bathrooms. “-stuck up two faced asses!”
“Lia…” You mutter, her wording making you shake your head at how unstable her temper is, “They’ve been working here for a lot longer than we have, just let them have those clients. Either way, what’s it to you?”
“What’s it to me? ___, they’re talking about Lee Jeno and Huang Renjun. I know I told you about them before.” Lia states like she expects you to have those two names tattooed on the front lobe of your brain already.
“I think I remember them…. They go to our University, right?” You try to regurgitate your friend’s rambles from months ago out of your head.
“Yeah, business department.” She sighs dreamily, as if the business department is the sexiest thing on campus. “This might be our only chance to shoot our shot.” You can’t help but grimace a bit.
“It can be your chance to shoot your shot. Leave me out of this.” You randomly grab an info card out of Lia’s hands, turning it around to see Mr. Huang Lijun’s photo staring back at you. You send Lia one last look, walking around her to go change in the dressing rooms.
“Aw, you’re no fun.” You hear her whine, her footsteps echo through the hallway as she comes up behind you. She almost knocks you into the wall from how forcefully she grabs onto your arm and swings it back and forth like you’re two little kids on your way to the playground.
“Maybe we can shoot our shot at the old men?” You and Lia stop walking, turning to face each other for a moment of silence. You blink at each other as if you’re both considering it, before erupting into laughter at the ridiculous thought and continue walking down the hallway.
You and Lia constantly joke around about finding rich sugar daddies at work to pay for your college tuition, but both of you know you’ll never actually commit to the idea fully. Neither of you will admit it, but you both know you don’t have the guts to do something like that.
By the time you, Lia, and your other coworkers change into uniform and gather your supplies for the Lee vs. Huang game, it’s already 10am. The air is crisp and cool, the signs of fall creep along your skin and taint the deep green trees in light oranges and yellows.
Despite the chill, you and your coworkers still wear skirts, long sleeve v-necks, and puffy vests; the only thing keeping your feet warm is a pair of short white socks and tennis shoes. You don’t mind the chill knowing that once the game starts you’ll be moving around enough to get warm. You stop thinking about your cold toes as soon as the door of the country club opens and the Lees and Huangs walk out.
The first time you lay eyes on Huang Renjun, you think your heart might stop.
You know it’s him because he walks close to his father as they make their way to where you’re standing by the golf carts. He has obviously dyed blonde color, his dark roots proof of that; it’s neatly gelled back in an effortless way with the light wind blowing a few of the locks gently as if an angel is personally moving them for him. His white jacket and black pants are slim and look like they cost more than all of your college textbooks this semester. He walks with his head high, his pretty, pink lips set in a straight line, and his almond eyes gentle.
Okay, so... maybe you understand the hype now.
“Good evening, ladies.” Mr. Lee announces, looking at you and your coworkers. You all politely introduce yourself and state who you’ll be caddying for.
Huang Lijun isn’t as tall as his son, but he looks to be more lively than Renjun, even at his age. He has a permanent smile on his lips and you can feel a friendly demeanor radiating from him when you approach.
“Good Morning, sir. Let me take those off of your hands.” You politely grab the bag of clubs from him, feeling shy as his gaze doesn’t leave your face the entire time.
“You’re new here, right? I feel like I would remember you if I saw you before.” You’re surprised when he suddenly pinches your cheek, and he laughs at your shocked face. An unsettled feeling plants itself at the bottom of your stomach at the unwarranted touch.
“I’ve only been working here for a month, sir.”
“I think I’ll be coming around here more often, then.” He winks at you and turns to go sit in the front seat of the golf cart. You can’t help but let the feeling at the bottom of your stomach grow at how the older man looks at you. You definitely misjudged his “friendly” demeanor. Your eyes can’t help but glance at Renjun, who’s standing a few feet away from the whole interaction. He gives you a blank stare before turning and following his father.
In the past few weeks, you had gotten many lustful smiles and lewd gazes at your bare legs, but also many dollars in tips just in one morning by letting those smiles and gazes happen. The need to make ends meet justifies it all, and the cash you earn at the end of every shift only fuels this need.
The ride from the club’s main building to the first hole is short, so you quickly recompose yourself. You still have a job to do— a job you’re being paid lots of money for. You believe in your strong will to put up with whatever antics Mr. Huang pulls for the next few hours. Upon arrival at the first hole, you pull the bag of golf clubs out of the cart and follow in Mr. Huang’s quick footsteps, suddenly feeling sweaty from the exercise you’re getting by carrying these heavy clubs. When your group reaches the first hole, you set the bag down on the ground and press your hand over your face, but Mr. Huang’s voice startles you.
“Woah, there.” You jump and face him. “Those clubs cost more than my car, and unlike my car, they don’t deserve to be on the ground, darling.”
“Yes, sir. I apologize.” You smile shyly and pick up the clubs from the ground, your shoulders already straining to keep them up. ‘They weigh as much as a car,’ you huff.
This is going to be a long game.
“You kids can clean the carts today,” Mina suddenly throws a keychain at Lia’s face, she barely catches it before it hits her, “I have plans.”
“Me, too.” Kara quickly says, following after Mina as they both walk away. The game ended right at lunchtime (the Lees won) and now you and your coworkers are back at the club. It’s supposed to be everyone’s job to clean the golf carts after they’ve been used, but it looks like today it’ll just be you and Lia… Maybe.
“___, please. I’m going to be late to the cafe, my boss there is already mad at me.” Lia turns to you and begs with her hands clasped in front of her chest, eyes pleading and feet bouncing. You sigh; you’re hungry and your muscles are sore, and all you want to do is go home as quickly as you can. Still, you roll your eyes and take the golf cart keys from her, making her face crack open into a smile as she hugs you quickly.
“I’ll bring you coffee on Monday!” She screams at you as she practically runs away, leaving you with two golf carts to clean. You sluggishly begin, crawling into the cart the Huangs were sitting in when you find a small notebook laying on one of the seats. Picking it up to examine it, you find out it’s your university’s yearly planner, a book that everyone gets at the beginning of every academic year. Along the binder reads “Huang Renjun” and your eyes widen, immediately looking up to glance at the direction that Renjun walked off to a while ago.
Your legs move quickly through the corridors of the club, moving past changing rooms, saunas, and bathrooms, the planner tightly clutched in your hand. Your head is on a swivel and your lower lip is stuck between your teeth, until you hear a door open and slam shut behind you, making you turn your head to catch Renjun walking out of a changing room.
“Mr. Huang!” You call out.. Renjun freezes at the name, spinning on his heel to see you walking towards him.
“Sorry to disturb you, but you left your planner on the golf cart.” You hold it out for him, but he doesn’t take it.
“How do you know it’s a planner? Did you look through it?” You blink at him, stunned, and then glance down at the notebook. You’re surprised by the sudden questions and at the same time annoyed that Renjun accused you of snooping through his things so quickly. The image you had of him earlier, graceful, classy, and attractive, slips out of your mind as he stares down at you. However, this is the first time he’s directly talking to you, and you can’t help the spark that ignites in your belly from the roughness in his voice. It’s higher-pitched, but unpolished and jagged as he speaks with you.
“No. I go to the same University. I have the same one.” You explain. Renjun’s stare turns into shock.
“Really? Which department?”
“Fine Arts. I study Studio Art.” At first you think that you’re seeing things, but after blinking, you can guarantee that Renjun has jealousy painted on his face. It’s so sour that he looks away, trying to preoccupy his hands by fiddling with his bag. “So, are you going to take this, or…?”
“Yeah,” The bitterness drips from his tone, but you have a feeling it’s not directed at you, “Thank you for returning it.” He finally accepts it and turns to his bag, taking out his wallet. The cards inside look thick and heavy; memberships to places you’ll never step foot in and credit cards with limits you could never even imagine. Your pride tells you that you don’t need anything he could give you, so you silently turn around and walk away.
Renjun shuffles through some crisp 10’s and 20’s, but when he looks up to give you the tip, you’re already down the hallway and halfway out the door. You have golf carts to clean.
The next time you see Renjun is a week after the last game. The chilly weather remains, along with the useless uniform you have to wear, but this time around you’re not Mr. Huang’s caddie, you’re Renjun’s.
Kara walks next to you with Mr. Huang’s heavy golf clubs, her lips straight and head turned away from you to show her annoyance at how the caddie match up situation went this week. You’re sure to get an earful about this for at least the next few days, but you kind of like this revenge that fate dealt Kara. Either way, it’s not like there’s anything you can do about the match up. Renjun requested you to be his caddie this week, and you weren’t going to risk your bosses being angry with you by denying the request.
“Driver.” Renjun’s voice pulls you into the game. You pull out the correct golf club and put it into his awaiting hand, your fingertips brushing with his. “Aren’t you cold?” The words shock you, considering they’re the first words Renjun spoke to you today other than commands for golf clubs.
“I-I’m fine, Mr. Huang.” You respond promptly.
“Don’t call me that.” His tone is icy, and he quickly realizes how unnecessary it is to bite at you like that, “Just call me Renjun.” His father walks back from his shot, looking very smug. Renjun’s face is calm as he trades spots with his father and prepares for his first swing of the day, correcting his posture and loosening his limbs.
You remember the first time you saw him, how elegant and poised he looked. Your cold hands break into a sweat as your chest heats up from the quick beating of your heart. Renjun has only been icy and accusing towards you so far, yet you still feel warm while thinking about him. There has to be something wrong with you.
“Doesn’t my son look like he knows what he’s doing?” Mr. Huang asks from beside you, a small, unnerving smile on his lips.
“Yes, sir.” You reply back with your own, more innocent, smile.
“I taught him everything he knows about golf…. And women.” Mr. Huang leans into you, turning his chest to face you so that his breath is hitting your cheek. You can’t help but swallow to relieve your dry and cold throat, keeping your eyes forward as Renjun swings his club back and forth a bit in preparation.
“Yes, sir.” The only thought on your mind is to stop this man from stepping closer.
“Is that the only thing you can say?”
Renjun swings his arm back, breathing in as he keeps his eyes on the small white ball and his hopes in the green before him. Mr. Huang’s right hand is warm on your waist, but you would give anything to freeze right now.
A sharp crack ripples through the air as Renjun hits the golf ball and sends it flying into the golf course. His eyes are not where the ball lands, but instead on where his father touches you.
Renjun’s mom died when he was not even three days old.
He never got to meet her— to lay on her chest and hold her finger with his whole hand. He’ll never know what advice she would’ve given him when he got his first girlfriend, and he’ll never know how she would’ve reacted to him crashing his first car when he was 17. He only knows that his mom would’ve been there for him through all of that, unlike his father, who was not.
Renjun has had “mothers” through his life; three, to be exact. The first was when he was 5 years old, and she quickly asked for a divorce after Renjun’s dad went on a three month business trip and she didn’t hear from him the whole time. The second “mother” was a bit more mature than the first and with a lot more time on her hands. She wanted to shape 9 year old Renjun into a perfect student, which was something Renjun’s father appreciated, but still divorced her for “being too strong-headed.” Renjun only met his third mother twice when he was 13: once at the wedding and the second time at her funeral. He didn’t ask any questions, he wasn’t very interested in the first place.
These were the type of people Renjun spent his life around, but they really weren’t his mothers. The only similarity he had with those women was his father, and he treated them as poorly as he treated Renjun. That’s why when Renjun looks at you, cowering away from the very man who is his only link to family, he feels sick.
When is his dad going to stop being a fucking predator? How young does he want his next conquest to be? Will Renjun’s next mom be the same age as him? Something swirls in the pit of his stomach when he watches his father and it takes a moment for him to figure out what it is: jealousy. He’s not sure why he’s feeling jealous over someone he just met last week, but the feeling engulfs his whole chest and it burns him to his spot.
Renjun doesn’t even notice that he swung his golf club or that the golf ball went somewhere far into the green, probably an overshot. He only sees you, afraid of the man touching you but not stepping away. Why aren’t you stepping away?
“Nice job, Renjun.” His best friend, Jeno, claps a hand on his back as he steps up, hitting Renjun back into reality and forcing him to walk towards you. As Renjun approaches, his father slyly takes his hand away, and Renjun notices how you let out a relieved sigh. Giving you back his driver, Renjun strategically stands between you and his father, pretending to watch Jeno swing.
“Good job… Renjun.” You whisper, unsure about calling him by his first name so informally.
“Thank you.” Renjun sends a side glance to his father to see the displeased look on his face. “How was that, Dad?” Renjun hopes that maybe he can remind his father of why he’s here (to win against the Lees this week, not to feel up a girl 30 years younger than him) but in this moment, his father is acting like a 5 year old in the middle of a silent tantrum, not a 50 year old who runs the most successful construction company in the country.
“I’ve taught you better than that.” Renjun is sure they’re not talking about golf anymore, the authoritative tone in his father’s voice sends a lightning bolt of surprise and slight fear down Renjun’s back. He hates how he gets scared, he hates how his father can control him. The fury churns in the pit of his stomach as he accepts his father’s words with a bow of his head.
One day, Renjun swears he won’t submit anymore.
After the game ended with the Lees winning once again, you, Lia, and your other coworkers convene at the golf carts after the clients leave to change inside the club.
“You ladies know the drill.” Kara throws both sets of golf cart keys at you before walking off with Mina. You push Lia towards the entrance of the building before she even has a chance to turn around and open her mouth.
“You should get to the cafe before your boss throws another fit.” Lia turns back to face you, her jaw slightly slack and her eyes shining.
“You’re seriously the best. I love you.”
“Yeah, yeah, just give me a few extra shots in my coffee on Monday.” Lia laughs at that, grabbing your face between her two small, manicured hands and kissing you on each cheek before hopping off inside. You can’t help but be amused at her antics, turning to the golf carts in front of you to start cleaning.
“They make you clean the carts by yourself?” The voice startles you, not because you weren’t expecting it but because it’s Renjun’s. You turn your head over your shoulder, he’s standing just a few feet away still in his golfing gear from earlier.
“Uh, not usually, no. But my coworkers haven’t been happy with me lately.” You explain, fully turning to him and crossing your arms over your chest to tuck your cold hands into your sides.
“The ones who have been working here for a while?” You nod as an answer, and Renjun nods back in understanding, shoving his hands in his pants pockets. “They’ve been trying to get with me and my best friend for a while...” Renjun trails off when he sees your eyebrows raise at the comment, “... But that’s not what I came here to talk about.”
“Oh? What are you here for?” The conversation has gotten too informal for a worker and their client to be having, but you kind of like talking to Renjun in this casual setting.
“I realized that the past few times we’ve talked I’ve been such a dick.” He laughs lightly as he remembers, “I wanted to apologize for that. I wasn’t in a good mood last week and this morning, and I ended up pushing it on you.”
Renjun feels lots of emotions when it comes to you, despite only having this one proper conversation with you. He feels envy towards you for being able to study something that he desperately wants to. He feels guilt when he remembers how quickly he made you into a thief when you were only trying to return his belongings, and he feels so many other secondary and tertiary emotions in between. His head is full when he looks at you. He finally feels like he’s thinking about something, not just doing the same day to day motions in a constant cycle of ‘when will this end?’
“You’re apologizing?” You ask, stunned when he nods his head in confirmation. Sincere apologies are important to you. You believe there are not enough of them in this world anymore, and his gentle almond eyes are too wholehearted and warm for you in this cold weather. Your heart feels full looking at him, and you curse at yourself in your head for being swayed like this.
“I also have a question… You mentioned you’re majoring in Studio Art and I was wondering if, maybe, you could let me into one of the studios after a class this week? I’ve been needing a quiet place to work since my house has been busy lately.” One of the hands that was in Renjun’s pocket moves to matte down his sideburns while he glances at his shoes. “Was that too forward? Sorry, I just know that you can’t get into a studio without a passcode and you’re the only person I know who’s in Studio Art.” Renjun explains after you stare for a while, blinking at him.
“You’re an artist?” You finally ask, Renjun giving you a weak ‘yeah’ in response. A part of you wants to say no, that it’ll be weird to do something like this for him when you’ve only known him for less than 2 weeks and up until this point, you’ve only been in a worker-client relationship. However, you’re curious about what he’s like outside of this setting, especially what he’s like when his father has no possibility of appearing, since that seems to be the factor that turns his mood up or down.
“Sure. Come by studio 3 after 6pm on Wednesday and I’ll let you in, but... I heard Mr. Lee already scheduled a game for next weekend?” Renjun nods, “Then in return, you can win that game. It’s embarrassing always being on the losing team.” You smile playfully at the end to let him know you’re only joking.
“Deal.” Renjun sends a smile back of the same caliber, holding out a hand to shake with yours. If you thought you were affected by Renjun’s nice presence, his hand in yours sends you into another realm. His touch is warm from staying indoors and from keeping his hands in his pockets, and they contrast to your cold skin. He sucks in a breath through his teeth when your hands connect, turning your hand in his grip to look at your knuckles. “Are you sure you’re not cold? Your hands are freezing.”
“I’ll be okay. I just don’t have any good gloves to wear while working.” He huffs, small traces of white smoke leaves his mouth as he digs through his pockets.
“Wear these.” He replaces his hand in yours with a pair of his own gloves, “Your hands are precious, they shouldn’t be freezing.” Before Renjun can get embarrassed by his own words, he shoves his hands back into his pockets and turns on his heel, walking away, “I’ll see you on Wednesday!”
A knock on the studio doors shakes you away from staring at your painting, making you turn to look at who it is. Renjun peaks through the small window and waves when you make eye contact. You get up to open the door, almost forgetting that today is the day you agreed to let Renjun into your studio.
… Okay, that’s a lie. You definitely remembered that you’re supposed to meet Renjun, but you keep trying to convince yourself that you’re not excited about seeing him outside of that stuffy country club.
“Hey, sorry if I startled you.” Is the first thing he says when you open the door. He’s dressed in slacks, a dress shirt with a sweater over it, and a long coat over that. His nose and cheeks are slightly red from the rough wind outside and his supplies are clutched to his chest.
“Oh, you’re fine. I was just deep in thought.” Something about the studio makes both of you speak in hushed tones. No one else is here, but you feel the need to maintain the peace and quiet the room naturally holds. You and Renjun make your way to where you’re set up, he puts his things down on an easel to your left and takes off his coat, watching you from his peripheral vision.
Those uniforms they make you wear at work are just for show, Renjun knows that well, but that doesn’t stop him from appreciating you in the tight vest and little skirt. However right now, he likes your laid back look consisting of loose jeans and a layered shirt, he thinks it matches you.
“I was going to leave when you got here, but I think I’ll just finish this and head out.” You comment, aimlessly waving at your project.
“Please, stay as long as you need to. This is your studio, I don’t want to kick you out.” He laughs and licks his bottom lip. It’s breathtaking how innocent and nice his smile looks on his face. His eyes scrunch together to form laugh lines and his cheeks rise, he truly looks pretty when he smiles. You think this is the first time you’ve seen him like this.
You mumble back with a mixture of words that probably didn’t make sense and turn back to your work, leaving the room to continue with its peacefulness and quiet. However, Renjun’s presence next to you is too big to ignore. There are so many things you want to know about him and you have no excuse as to why you’re so curious.
“How about a game while we work?” You suggest.
“Sure… How about 20 questions?” It’s like he read your mind, so you smile and nod at his idea.
“You can go first.” You suggest.
“Okay, uh… Why do you work at a golf course if you’re majoring in Studio Art? Shouldn’t you be working at a, I don’t know, museum?” The question catches you off guard and Renjun notices how you stop painting, your brush and your hand floating in the air as you think, “Oh, sorry, is that too personal?”
“No, no… It’s just, normally, the first question people ask in a game of 20 questions is something like ‘what’s your favorite color’ or ‘what’s your sign’.” Renjun lets out a choked and embarrassed laugh, ducking his head down to look away from you. You can tell he’s about to change his question, so you quickly go back to painting and speak before he can.
“I did apply to work at several museums. I didn’t get any jobs, so I had to look elsewhere and Augusta was hiring. I know it’s not very fitting, but it makes good money and rich people know my name, even if it’s for just a few hours.” Renjun nods at your answer as if he could ever understand the idea of being poor, but the insight into your decision brings a fact to light that Renjun wasn’t 100% aware of before: you’re not like him, you need money.
“Don’t you hate the way people look at you there?” The words tumble out of Renjun’s lips faster than he can process the weight they carry. He turns to face you with guilt pooling in his eyes and his mouth opening and closing to find some words to correct the situation.
“No, I don’t like it.” You surprise him with your quick response, “But people like you don’t understand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck, to have to worry about how to pay the bills every month for years on end, always on your toes about money. I bet you think I’m cheap and—”
“No.” Renjun cuts you off promptly before you can continue, “Don’t make me into a jerk. I’m not like that. But the fact that that is the first thing you thought of worries me.” Your eyes widen at that, prompting him to elaborate. “Doesn’t that mean that’s how you think of yourself? Maybe not on the outside, but subconsciously. Sure, I won’t ever be able to understand how you live, but I wish you would not look at yourself as cheap and think of yourself as… beautiful.” Renjun lets the last words linger on his tongue, saying it quietly as if to not startle you.
You stare at him, your paintbrush resting in your hand and your back slouched as you watch him watch you. This is not the type of conversation you thought you’d be having with Renjun tonight, but you have to admit he makes a point. Eventually, you turn to your painting and stare at it some more, making Renjun turn and continue his own work.
“Ah, I asked two questions in a row.” He suddenly breaks the tense atmosphere, making you sigh as you remember you’re just playing a game, “You can ask two questions.”
He allows and relaxes when he sees you go back to painting.
“If you like to draw, why are you a business major?” Now it’s Renjun’s turn to freeze. Maybe if he did ask what your favorite color was he wouldn’t have had to endure this question from you, but he feels like he should answer it since it’s of equal weight to the one he asked you.
“It wasn’t my choice. I will most likely take my father’s place in his company and I need to at least know the basics before that happens.” You nod slowly. He looks so calm when he’s focused on drawing, but it’s not the same calm that you see on his face when he’s playing golf. You turn away before you get caught staring.
“Is that why your mood always changes when your dad is around?”
“Is it that obvious…” He trails off and you nod, “I can’t believe I’m about to say this out loud, but… It’s like everytime I’m around him, or at his office, or at home, my mind goes blank. I don’t feel like talking or thinking at all.” As he speaks, he sets down his utensils and turns to you, making continuous eye contact as he explains. You find yourself feeling comfortable at how easily he’s talking to you about such a deep subject.
“It sounds like… you’re angry.” You turned to face him now too, your paintbrush settled onto your canvas and your full attention on him, “My dad is like that. He gets so angry sometimes that he’s calm. No yelling or fighting, just silence. That’s how I know I messed up when he gets like that.” You nod, remembering all the times he’s been calmly mad at you.
“I don’t know… It’s confusing to me.” He straightens his back and stares at your foot as it moves around aimlessly. “What do I do?” He asks into the air, as if his pencil would suddenly start talking to him like a therapist.
“Just do what makes you happy.” Renjun’s glance over at you makes a smile pull at your lips, “I know it’s easier said than done. But you already know what it is that’ll make you happy, and that’s half of the battle. Why bottle it up?”
Renjun doesn’t know how he’ll ever get the courage to tell his father these things, but the way you’re looking at him as if he can do anything, he starts to feel tingles of confidence trickle into him.
“Oh, and why did you pick me to be your caddie this past weekend?”
“Well…” Renjun plays with his pencil. What is he supposed to say? He doesn’t want you to carry around his father’s heavy golf clubs? He doesn’t like the way his father touches you and gets jealous over it for some unknown reason? Yeah, he’s not going to say.
“Just because… I wanted you next to me.” The way he says it makes it sound so simple and true, but your heart drops to your stomach and springs back up going at 100 miles per hour. You can barely stop your hand from shaking as you pick up your brush, and it’s almost like you can’t see in front of you from the thrill of his words.
“Hey,” Renjun suddenly drops his pencil and turns to you, looking a bit confused and slightly upset, “Didn’t you ask three questions?”
“We’re letting the Lees win again today.” Renjun is in the middle of pulling up the zipper of his jacket when his father drops the news. Renjun’s footsteps stutter slightly at his father’s words and he stops walking next to the older man.
“Again?” He asks as he already thinks up an apology to tell you later when he loses.
“Yes, I need Mr. Lee to be happy when I bring up the new contract to him later in the sauna.” Renjun sighs and continues to walk next to his father. It’s the next weekend, and the third Lee vs. Huang game is starting in just a few minutes.
Renjun won’t lie, purposefully losing to his best friend and his dad every week is not the greatest stroke to Renjun’s ego, especially since Jeno won’t let it down around his other friends.
“Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask you,” Lijun swivels on his heel to look at his son, “Have you been requesting for ___ to be your caddie?”
The questions stuns Renjun, making it hard to answer so his father takes it as a yes.
“Well stop it. Dad wants to have some fun.” He claps a hand on Renjun’s back and smiles. In the past, Renjun would’ve just rolled his eyes and let his father do whatever he wants, but this time his blood boils. He feels true anger when his father struts away with the intentions of doing whatever he wants to someone Renjun cares about. He can barely move his feet after the old man, his mind cloudy as everyone makes it to the golf carts.
“Let’s have a good game today, Mr. Huang, don’t make it too easy to beat you.” Mr. Lee jokes around and the two old men laugh as they settle into their own golf carts. Renjun walks up to his cart and you wave to him, the white gloves he gave you last week snugly on your hands. Renjun thinks his anger is what spurs him into doing what he does next.
He steps close to you, leaning into your ear and wrapping his hand around your covered ones with his thumb rubbing on your exposed wrist, “Keep these on for me, babe. I don’t want you to be cold.”
The amount of jaws that drops after Renjun’s words makes him bite down his smirk and slide into the front seat of the golf cart, pretending to not see the daggers his father is throwing at him with his eyes.
Your heart beats so quickly and loudly you’re sure Kara can hear it next to you if she wasn’t busy huffing about what Renjun just did. Sitting in the back seat of the golf cart, you watch the back of Renjun’s head on the way to the first hole. What got into Renjun? Why did he all of a sudden call you ‘babe’ and get so close? Not that you’re opposed to it, you’re just shocked.
The game begins once you reach the first hole, and the Huang’s put up a good fight throughout the entire game, keeping the Lees on their toes and the score sheet even. Everytime Renjun comes back from a shot, you smile at him and tell him good job, which earns you a pat on the back from him that warms you up from the inside out.
Renjun can tell his father is getting more and more annoyed with him; how Renjun is keeping you as far from his father as he possibly can, the gentle touches on your waist that you welcome wholeheartedly compared to the ones Mr. Huang would lay on you before. He likes how angry his father gets, especially knowing that he can’t do anything about it right now. Not to mention, you seem to be enjoying Renjun’s attention, which just adds to his confidence.
Now, your group arrives at the last hole of the game. The Lees step up and swing, setting their total score to 357. All Renjun and his father have to do is move the ball around a bit more to get their score to be higher and the Lees will win the game. Mr. Huang is up first, acting clumsy so that the ball doesn’t make it into the hole and brings the game to Renjun.
As he sets up his posture, his hands suddenly go stiff. This shot is so easy to make, he has made this exact hole several times. He breathes in and out deeply, deciding on if he should throw the game like his father said he should, or give his one last ‘fuck you’ to his Dad.
He glances at you and makes eye contact; you nod your head and smile a bit as if to say ‘go ahead, we all know you can do this.’ Renjun then grips his golf club and swings it back to effortlessly hit the golf ball, rolling it along the green and perfectly into the hole.
You and the other caddies clap for the perfectly executed shot and Jeno and his father come up to Renjun to shake hands. They don’t look upset, instead they look pretty happy for Renjun. However, Renjun’s father is deathly silent, not even congratulating Renjun on his win. Renjun wasn’t expecting a whole ceremony for him, but it does feel nice to put his father down a peg or two today, and that’s the thought that fills Renjun’s head as everyone rides back to the country club.
While getting out of the golf cart, Renjun attempts to turn back to you but is promptly pulled away by the back of his jacket by his father. Renjun yelps and pulls away, but that doesn’t stop Lijun from grabbing onto his son’s arm instead and pulling him inside.
“What was that? I specifically told you to lose the game and you did the exact opposite. How am I supposed to talk to Mr. Lee now?” Renjun’s father fumes, his low voice belting out into the corridor and making some of the passing staff turn their heads.
“That’s not my problem.” Renjun shrugs and his father stops shaking, stepping closer to his son.
“Excuse me?” He asks with menace dripping from his tongue.
“I said, that’s not my problem.” Renjun is fired up. He doesn’t see a way out of this now, no way his behavior is being excused, so might as well go all in.
“You did it for that caddie, ___, right?” His father squints his eyes and turns his head slightly. When Renjun doesn’t answer, Lijun laughs in his face, “It looks like I’m right.”
“What?” Renjun asks dumbly.
“It’s okay. You’re just a boy and you can make some mistakes over a girl, we’ve all been there once or twice.” Lijun fixes Renjun’s jacket and pats his shoulder, his angry disposition turning passive. “Besides, you can’t do much for that girl anyway. Is a ball in a hole really all she deserves?”
“I won the game because I could. I won it because that’s what I wanted.” Renjun states, his blood beginning to boil once again when his father says he doesn’t deserve you. What is he thinking? Does he actually think he has a chance with you? He can keep dreaming.
“We can’t always do whatever we want. There are consequences we have to face for doing whatever we want. Are you ready to face the consequences?” At the question, Renjun is reminded about the words you told him Wednesday night.
‘Just do what makes you happy,’ Those simple words are so hard to turn into reality. Renjun wants to be happy so bad. He wants to be away from this man and he wants to be closer to you. The consequences? Sure, he’ll deal with it all if it means he can stop living in the personal hell his father set up for him. Renjun pushes his father away a bit and steps out of the trap his father pushed him into, making Lijun’s eyes widen.
“Yeah, I’m ready.” Renjun says and turns around, walking back towards the exit of the building.
“Hey, where are you going?” His father shouts after him.
“To do the thing that I want to do the most.” He yells back and walks around the corner, out of sight from his father. Renjun practically runs through the hallways to get back outside and run to you, but you surprise him by greeting him by the saunas. He stops in his steps and you smile as you walk up to him.
“Hey, I just wanted to tell you that you did really well today. I know I said I wanted you to win last week, but I didn’t think you’d actually do it.” You laugh.
“Thanks.” Renjun simply says, afraid of what else could come out if he keeps talking.
“Oh, I also want to give you these back.” You dig out Renjun’s gloves from your pocket, holding them out. This is it. This is the moment Renjun will start to do whatever makes him happy, whatever he wants.
And what he wants right now is you.
He quickly takes the gloves and then tightly grips the wrist of your outstretched hand, leading you down the hallway and around some corner. He hears you exclaim a small ‘woah’ but you let him guide you into a sauna, the door closing tightly behind both of you.
There’s no one else in the room, just the stuffy steam that floats in the small space between you two. Renjun has a tight grip on the gloves you gave back to him and his other hand runs through his hair and messes up the perfect form it held.
“Tell me to stop.” He demands, looking straight into your eyes.
“What?”
“Tell me to stop right now.” He takes a step forward, his eyes full to the brim with lust and his hands shaking with how much he’s holding himself together. You’ve barely been in the room for a minute, but your clothes are already sticking to you from the intense heat.
“I don’t understand,” You reply back as he keeps moving toward you. You take small steps back in return, “I don’t know what I’m stopping you from.” Half of you is playing dumb right now; you know what Renjun wants from you just by the look in his eyes. The other half just wants to hear him say it himself
“I’ll fuck you the way you deserve. Right here, right now.” Renjun’s voice is too angelic to say such nasty words, but he growls them out like he’s a tainted angel. You’re pressed against the wooden wall of the sauna now, Renjun just a step away. You lean into him slightly and rip the gloves out of his hand to throw them to the side.
“Do it.”
It’s all the permission Renjun needs to feverishly connect his lips to yours.
The action is so sudden, you don’t remember how Renjun got close to you so quickly. Despite his forcefulness before, his lips melt into you like chocolate melting over a fire, so hot and delicious that you just want more. His hands hold the sides of your face, pushing back your hair and his body pushing you back into the wall.
He sucks on your bottom lip, softly biting afterwards and making you let out a whimper, and then a moan when his thigh pushes between your legs and further presses you against the wall. Amidst the kissing, you find the zipper of his expensive jacket, unzip it, and pull the piece of clothing off. Afterwards, you pull his shirt off and break the kiss while you’re at it.
“I’ve been thinking about you in this skirt since….” Renjun hums at the thought, his hand sliding up your bare thighs and under your skirt, then he grips your ass and brings your core down onto his thigh, the friction enough to have you letting out a strangled moan.
“Since the day I first saw you.” He finally whispers and connects your lips once again. His hand on your ass doesn’t move, his other hand is placed on your waist as he helps you ride the rough material of his pants. Renjun can only watch your reactions; the way your head lolls back into the wall and your eyes screw shut, holding onto Renjun’s shoulders tight enough he’s sure there will be marks afterwards.
“Fuck— Renjun, don’t stop, please.” He’s mesmerized, absolutely addicted to how you look and sound right now, and it’s all because of him. The thought spurs him along, he removes your jacket and you blindly help him in removing your top and bra. You must look like a mess right now, especially since you’re coming close to your climax just by Renjun’s touch and his thigh. Not to mention the sweat dripping down both of you, a glistening sheen coating your skin that makes Renjun let out a low growl before he leans down and takes one of your nipples in his mouth.
He sucks and swirls his tongue, and you can’t help but moan his name again, digging your fingers into his blonde hair and tugging. Renjun moves from your chest downward, not letting an inch of your stomach and hips go past him without a kiss and a nibble, leaving you breathing heavily. He makes his way down to his knees and folds your skirt up, glancing at you from his position.
“You don’t wear anything under here except your panties?” You nod, your head stuttering as Renjun applies pressure with his thumb over your slick hole, a wet spot already there to greet him.
“You’re so fucking dirty, baby.” He groans and leans in to swipe his tongue over your center making you shake as a response. He slides your underwear down and throws it somewhere to the side, catching the sigh of your arousal dripping down your thigh. His intense stare makes you shake him, embarrassment crawling over you at how he’s not reacting.
“Are you shy?” You whine, not really answering his question. “You don’t need to be. You’re beautiful.” The softness from his voice contradicts his more dominating tone from before, but you don’t have time to think about it before he dives in. You sigh in content when the pressure in between your hips caused by Renjun turns into pure pleasure. His tongue laps at your essence and his lips suck on your clit, you can tell he’s trying to find what exactly will make you tick.
When Renjun slides a finger into your hole unexpectedly, you jump and whimper a bit but the feeling of him sliding in and out along with his tongue circling and sucking on your clit makes a knot form in the pit of your stomach, tightening up your muscles and making your eyes roll back.
“Right there. Oh my god, right there…” You keep repeating, praying that Renjun treats you good and let’s you come. He adds another finger and you gasp, starting to move your hips in rhythm to his hand, holding onto his shoulders for more stability. He glances up at you, watching your eyes screw shut and your tits bounce as you use his hand to get yourself off. Renjun hums against you, and you can almost feel the ecstasy of coming undone, until Renjun pulls away. You groan, feeling like crying when your orgasm fades.
“Hey..” You whine, pouting when Renjun stands back up and licks your juices off of his lips. He has some on his chin and you bring your hand up to wipe it away, Renjun stopping your hand and kissing the wetness away, then kissing up your arm and to your shoulder, up your neck and to your ear. He tugs at your earlobe, licking the skin under it and biting some more, his hands sliding up your waist at playing with your nipples, pinching a little to get whimpers out of you and making your hips buck up, ready to continue where Renjun left you at.
That’s when you feel the hardness in his pants; it must be painful. That’s why you understand his next words, whispered into the shell of your ear between kisses: “You’re not coming until I’m in you, got it?”
You nod quickly, attaching your hands to Renjun’s zipper and button, undoing them and sliding down his pants.
“But, you’re gonna need to do something for me…” He says, helping you pull down his boxers, watching his angry, red length swing out. You gasp, feeling a bit bad that you just left Renjun like this to eat you out, but you’re sure you can make up to him now.
“What is it? I’ll do it.” Your hands run over Renjun’s sweaty shoulders, moving away some longer hair in the back of his head that’s sticking against his neck.
“You’re gonna have to yell my name. I need you to let everyone know who’s doing this to you— who’s making you feel good, okay?” Your breath gets caught in your throat as the words tumble out of his lips. He tilts his voice higher at the end of every phrase to make him sound innocent, but you’re not fooled.
“There’s people outside…” You mumble back, sending a glance at the door. You know there are several staff and customers walking along the hallways outside. What will they think if they hear you screaming Renjun’s name? Not to talk about what will happen to your job.
Those thoughts melt away when Renjun’s dick slides between your folds slowly, making you turn your gaze back to him and hold on tight as he lubricates himself over your wetness, holding onto your hips so that you don’t move and take anymore than what he’s giving you.
“That’s exactly why I want you to scream. Can you do that for me?” He asks and you nod frantically, doing almost anything to get his dick inside you. You’re not sure what’s going to happen once you step out of this room, but at least you know Renjun is going to give you the best fuck you’ve had in a while, and you know it’ll be worth it for what’s to come after all this.
“Finally…” You moan when Renjun’s length disappears into you inch by inch, going slow as to not hurt you. He sucks in a breath through his teeth as he bottoms out, picking up your thigh to hang it over his hip and wrapping his other arm around your waist to keep you close. You hold onto him, adjusting as he kisses your lips sweetly and carefully, and waits to move his throbbing cock through your velvety walls.
“Go, Renjun, move….” You whisper, and he looks at you confused.
“What was that? I didn’t hear you.” He asks, cocking his head.
“Please, move.” You say louder, but he shakes his head and purses his lips as if he still can’t understand.
“I said, fuck me, Renjun. Please, can you fuck me already?” You all but scream out, your voice almost cracking at how whiny you sound. No doubt, if someone passed by outside they would’ve heard you. The thought makes you tense up, but it feels so good to be able to yell out what you want.
“Your wish, baby.” Renjun mutters before he starts rocking into you. You both groan at the sensation, Renjun’s hips speeding up as he gains more momentum. His lips don’t leave yours, kissing you into oblivion while his dick stuffs you. He has you against the wall, his hips powering away and you don’t dare to disturb him, realizing he’s burning all of his anger away as well.
“Yes, Renjun, fuck me just like that…'' You moan loudly to spur him on, now not really caring about who’s outside or who hears you, just wanting Renjun to know you love how rough he’s going. He presses you higher up the wall and pulls your legs apart more, hitting a new angle that literally makes you scream out, tears mixing with the sweat on your face as he relentlessly pumps into you.
There are so many things going on at the same time. Your hard nipples and soft breasts rubbing against Renjun’s chest, making goosebumps rise on his arms. Your hot and sweaty bodies are basically sliding against each other. The clapping of his hips against yours no doubt attracts attention from outside along with your screams and Renjun’s grunts continuously get louder as you both get closer to the climax.
“I’m gonna come… Renjun, come in me…” You’re already fucked out, the words barely leaving your lips coherently, but Renjun understands and moves his finger down to find your clit, circling his thumb fast and steady, just like everything else he’s doing.
“C’mon come on my cock, babe. Let it out, I wanna hear it.” And just like that, you unwind and scream his name as your orgasm washes over and takes control, making you claw onto any part of Renjun that you can reach. Renjun feels your walls deliciously convulse around him and with a few more sloppy thrusts, he comes into you and fills you up, staying wrapped up in you as you both calm down.
Renjun presses small kisses wherever he feels like as your breathing settles down, his softness and the caring way he rubs at your sides and hips where he was holding so hard that you’re sure to have bruises makes you smile hazily.
“___… I don’t regret any of this.” He whispers into your skin, leaning back to look at you properly. “Do you?”
“No.” You answer truthfully, making his eyes shine and you both smile dumbly, your sticking bodies relaxing. The happy moment doesn’t last long before there’s a knock on the door to the sauna. You and Renjun stiffen up as you glance at the door, waiting for whoever it is to announce themselves.
“Renjun? Son?” Your heart drops to your stomach and you cover your mouth at the voice of Renjun’s father on the other side of the door, but when you turn to Renjun, he doesn’t seem bothered. He sends a smile at you and moves some hair from your face before answering.
“Occupied, go somewhere else. We’re busy.”
We Could Be Heroes
(SM, serious writing, sort of. Well, it's not angst, but it's not fluff either! Prompt: “She had a list of things she needed to do. The first thing was always ‘Confess’ “)
Minako always checked her appearance in her compact after switching guises. She had to make sure she had the right lipstick for the right event. For her job, she had to be sure her eyes were properly lined and sparkling. For her *other* work, she had to be sure every evidential strand of blond hair was tucked securely out of sight. And when she was coming home, she had to be sure that not a single scratch or bruise was showing, so that her roommate didn't worry.
She had a list of things she needed to do. The first thing was always ‘Confess’. It wasn't fair to Haruka, really, keeping her in the dark like this, keeping her so close to hand and eternally unaware of the danger that might someday follow Minako home. But her tall friend would never understand the truth. She barely even understood the stripping. Haruka was an old-fashioned, straightforward, honest butch who would have been happiest in life slaying dragons and helping ladies across puddles. Good guys and bad guys, heroes and villains. Unfortunately, the world she'd been born into lacked those simple distinctions. Without a noble cause to fight for, Haruka went through life in a state of mild bewilderment. She couldn't hold down a job. She'd barely made it through high school. Her mother, never well-off to begin with, had cut ties and left her on her own. It was only Minako's support that kept her off the street.
If she told Haruka the truth, the other girl's sense of personal honor might prevent her from turning Minako in to the police, but it certainly wouldn't allow her to stay here and continue to profit from Minako's activities. She would charge off on her own, seeking absolution through self-denial, and she would get hurt, and it would be all Minako's fault.
Therefore, every day, Minako acknowledged what she *should* do, and then did exactly the opposite.
She checked her reflection. Pretty, perky Mina. No problems there.
Throwing open the apartment door with a bang, she yelled "PARTY PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE!"
Due warning delivered, she marched into the living room, faux-casually throwing her bag aside. Haruka was already on the couch, one arm resting along the back, the other holding a soda can. She looked up from her tv show to greet her roommate. "Hey - "
"Hey, buddy!" Mina cut her off. "Had a *big* tipper today, couldn't stop staring at the goods. So don't worry about the rent - "
"I'm not." Haruka grinned in that rakish way that routinely drew in shy, questioning jailbait before they blushed and ran away giggling. "I've got a job."
"Oh." She blinked. "That's great. You found a new garage hiring?"
Haruka made a face. "No. But this'll do. It's a cashier thing, but it pays twice what the warehouse job did. I found it in the paper and I called them and they said I'm hired."
"Retail? Oh, boy..." Mina couldn't imagine Haruka coping long with idiot customers. And who paid that well for a retail job, especially when hiring someone with no experience? "Did they send you a uniform?"
"A uniform? No." Haruka looked down at her faded "LET DIRT FLY" track racing shirt and her beloved denim cut-off jacket with its array of pins. "They didn't say anything about my clothes. Can't I just wear my own?"
"Not unless you want to get fired on the first day!" Mina shook her head. "You need at least a polo shirt. Maybe a blouse. Let me check my closet, I'll loan you a starter."
Haruka gestured at Minako's well-supported chest with her drink. "You and I aren't the same size."
"Honey, not all of my clothes are designed to *fit*." She couldn't resist striking a pose to flaunt her curves a little, knowing that Haruka appreciated it on an aesthetic level, at least. "What kind of store is it, anyway?"
"Uh." Haruka set the can down. "Furniture? I think."
"You *think*?" Trust Haruka to focus only on the goal and completely miss all the details. "Is this a commission sales job? Because if it is, they may not pay you - "
"They said hourly." Haruka shook her head. "You worry too much. It's perfect. It's gonna be great!"
"Sure," Minako smiled. "Let me go look for those clothes."
Picking up her bag, she retreated to her bedroom and shut the door. Out of sight, now, she could unpack her tools - the special gloves, the rope, the hooks, the lockpicks - as well as the night's well-gotten gains. *Well*-gotten, because the Moon Cat never robbed anyone who didn't thoroughly deserve it. Probably.
Sweet, gentle Haruka would never admit that there were far too many rich assholes in the world who didn't deserve their luxuries, and too many kids like her who'd gotten nothing but the short end of the stick all their lives for no reason either. Haruka wanted to believe that life was fair, which also meant that she believed that everything from her mother's foul temper to her childhood chickenpox must be her fault somehow. At least she wasn't quite stubborn enough to insist that she *only* deserved bad things. She still accepted Minako's gifts.
Living with Haruka really wasn't just an act of charity. Minako regularly made donations from her profits to good causes (not all of it, she wasn't a saint!) but she wasn't one to take orphans and stray cats under her wing. She *liked* Haruka. The other girl was fun to have around. She was a good drinking partner who appreciated fast food and fast cars, she laughed without shame at stupid sex comedies, she was handy with a screwdriver or with lifting heavy objects... she was almost the perfect husband, other than being not at all Minako's type. She was the one person Minako wasn't buttering up to take advantage of.
(Or was she? She ought to tell her the truth. She could never tell her the truth.)
Crime costume safely stowed - Haruka would never breach Minako's privacy by poking around in her room, but she might peek inside quickly to see if she was in there - Minako gathered up a couple of candidate shirts and went back out to the living room.
The television had gone to commercials, and was currently displaying an advertisement for an upcoming concert. Michiru Kaioh, the socialite and virtuoso violinist, would be hosting a night of classical music at the Orpheum. Minako still remembered the non-stop news coverage years before when the Kaiohs were murdered en route to one of their young daughter's concerts, leaving her famously orphaned and fabulously wealthy. After such tragic circumstances, that was one target Minako had never attempted to plunder. Still, a high-society event might present other opportunities.
Unaware of Minako's calculations, Haruka's gaze was instead fixed on the image of Miss Kaioh herself, elegant and demure in an off-the-shoulder dark velvet gown, her hair up to expose the pearls clasped around her graceful neck. "Beautiful, isn't she?"
"Way out of our league, bud," Minako said, and dropped her armful of clothing onto the couch. "Here, try these on. I can turn my back."
Haruka shrugged. "I don't care if you look. You worry too much." She shrugged out of her upper clothing, revealing a thin body and a plain white sports bra, then reached for one of Minako's button-down shirts. "I got this. This job's gonna be great. Everything will be fine."
---
[ omg this job ] [ Hey. Do the customers suck? ] [ Of course they do. Or at least, they try. ] [ no ] [ also gross ] [ Are you on break? ] [ no ] [ i'm so bored ] [ You shouldn't text on the clock, they get mad about that ] [ nobody's going to see ] [ nobody's here ] [ Slow day? ] [ nobody's been here all week ] [ Huh. ] [ i've been trying to find games to play on my phone but they suck] [ Don't buy gems again, it's a scam! ] [ i'm so bored ] [ Well, I'm off at the moment. How about I come over and visit? Just to get a look at the place? ] [ ur an angel ] [ A sexy angel! ] ---
Minako wasn't sure what to expect out of Haruka's workplace. The address led to an ordinary-looking shopping strip, but several of the stores were clearly vacant, and others appeared to have been converted to offices. There were only a couple of cars in the entire lot.
Plain, bold letters spelled out BRENTWOOD FURNISHING, so Minako made her way to the doors and pulled them open.
The space inside was clean, bright, and air-conditioned, but somehow off-putting. There was too much space and too little decoration. Two round tables near the entrance held thick catalogs and trays of golf pencils, but there was little stock in evidence. A few sofas along the walls with a scattering of cabinets and office chairs between them. Other than that, the thin gray-brown carpet lay exposed and unoccupied.
At the back end of the room was a large desk, and behind that sat a hunched-over figure staring down at the phone in her hands, her pale blond hair gleaming in the harsh lighting. Apparently she hadn't noticed the doors opening.
Minako struck a pose, one hand on her hip. "Hey, can I get some service around here?"
Haruka twitched, her phone slipping from her hands as her head shot up. "Mina!"
"Weren't you expecting me? I said I'd come."
"I thought you'd text when you got here," Haruka said, running a hand through her hair sheepishly.
"Waste of money when Freya gave me lungs," Minako winked. She came closer, lowering her voice. "Is anyone else working?"
"No, it's just me," Haruka shrugged. "I have keys for the front door. I open up in the morning and lock up when I leave."
"What about when you need to take a leak? Or eat?"
"I've got a 'Back Soon' sign for the door. Doesn't really matter, though. Nobody comes."
"They're paying you an awful lot to do nothing," Minako said slowly, her eyes sweeping over the large room. She couldn't see anything suspicious, but the whole situation felt odd. "You really haven't had any customers all week?"
"Do they have to buy something to be a customer?"
"I don't mean *me*, babe."
Haruka grinned. "No, I mean, some guys came in once, trade-guys, toolbelts. They looked at the catalogs a little. Then they left."
"Did you talk to them?"
"What would I say?"
Had no one given her any training at all? "You could start with 'Hi, can I help you?'"
Haruka shrugged. "They didn't look like they needed my help."
"I suppose." Minako walked over to one of the couches by the wall. It looked new - or at least, not used, not worn down. But it certainly didn't look fresh and trendy, or even comfortable. Actually, it looked a bit dusty. There was no sign of a price tag. "I guess that's the catch. This place must be going out of business. Sorry, bud."
Haruka ran a hand through her hair. "Wait, sorry for what? Did you rip something?"
"Sorry that your easy-money job won't last. If nobody every comes and they're not doing any business, they're probably shutting down."
"They do a lot of business, I think," Haruka wrinkled her nose. "I hear all the trucks come and go. There's a bunch of guys out back. They just don't come into the store."
"Out back?"
Haruka waved a hand vaguely behind her. "There's a back door behind the office, it goes to the warehouse lot and the loading dock. They showed me my first day, but I'm not supposed to go out there. Something about insurance? I don't have a key."
If they did all their business "out back", why were they paying Haruka to sit in an empty storefront? "Do you take a lot of phone orders?"
"For the store? I'm not sure they have a phone in here..." Haruka pushed her chair back, hanging over the side to peer behind the desk. "Oh, there it is."
"Okay, you're sure not getting a lot of calls." Minako walked over to the front desk and pushed herself up to sit on it. "Maybe it's a zoning thing, for taxes. Maybe they do all their business mail-order, but they're required to have a shopfront in the county, and that's why they're paying you to sit here and... what *are* you doing all day?"
Haruka held up her phone. "Being bored."
"Well, don't blow your data. I'll load up some movies for you or something tonight." Minako hopped off the desk. "Gotta run. Let me know if anything weird happens, okay?"
Haruka rolled her eyes. "Nothing weird is going to happen. *Nothing* has happened all week."
---
[ omg omg omg ] [ mina ] [ MINA ]
[ What is it? Are you okay? ] [ Were you robbed? Did the cops come? ] [ yes ] [ yes i'm okay no there's no cops why would you think that? ] [ No reason. What's up? ] [ michiru kaioh ] [ What about her? ] [ she was here! MICHIRU KAIOH was here! ] [ what ] [ she came to my store! ] [ Does she own the business? ] [ lol no ] [ she was shopping for furniture ] [ At a deserted outlet store? ] [ maybe she wanted something different! ] [ she came to my store and she TALKED TO ME ] [ she is ~ * gorgeous * ~ (。♥‿♥。) ] [ wow, you found the emojis ] [ she said i was very strong! ] [ She was flirting with you? ] [ no! she was just being nice! she asked me about my job and about moving furniture and she had me walk her to her car ] [ She was absolutely flirting with you, you are so oblivious ] [ why would the richest woman in the world be flirting with me? ] [ Because she likes oblivious butches? ] [ you're crazy, minako ] [ Crazy like a fox. ] ---
This was absolutely crazy.
Minako - no, the Moon Cat - slipped through the shadows, heading for the back lot of Brentwood Furnishing. Considering how deserted the area seemed even during the day, it seemed unlikely that anyone would be around, but there was clearly a great deal odd about this business. More importantly, no catburglar could keep her nine lives if she didn't know how to stay out of sight, especially in a city regularly patrolled by a costumed vigilante.
There was clearly something fishy about this furniture store. Sure, the empty storefront could be a tax concession like she'd thought, but that wasn't all of it. Whoever was in charge of this operation had chosen to hire Haruka, a down-on-her-luck girl with no retail experience who wouldn't ask any awkward questions, wouldn't even protest that she might need a key to the back door in an emergency. It suggested that they had something to hide. Money laundering, probably. That was the usual story behind mysterious businesses staying afloat for no reason.
Minako hadn't wanted to ruin Haruka's enjoyment of her new job by pointing out the possible dark side, especially when she had no proof, especially when she didn't want to talk about her knowledge of the criminal underworld.
But then this visit from Miss Violinist! There was absolutely no reason for a princess of the 1% to be visiting a tiny nowhere outlet store even if she did have a whimsical desire to buy "something different". The rich had *people* for that. Going in person, creeping all over Haruka? No, she had to be there for a reason, and the most likely reason was to check how obedient their poor stooge of a cashier was being. She must be involved in the business somehow, probably owning it through a shell company or whatever rich people did to cover their tracks. Minako cursed her soft heart for having kept her out of the path of that 'poor little rich girl'. If she'd bothered to investigate in the past maybe she'd know just how deep the Kaioh money was tied in with organised crime.
Well, as a minion of very *disorganised* crime, she could only handle so many tasks at a time. The back lot was blocked off with chain-link fences and padlocked gates, but it was no trouble for the Moon Cat to climb up the diamond mesh and flip herself over the top.
There were a few vans parked in the lot, but she expected the most interesting goods were going to be locked up overnight for safety. Getting in meant hotwiring a couple of security systems and picking a few locks, but it was hardly a challenge for someone of her skills. Whoever these people were, they weren't nearly paranoid enough.
The interior of the 'storage building' was totally dark. The Moon Cat did own nightvision goggles, but they weren't the best to rely on when searching a totally unknown area for clues. Besides, if by bad luck someone actually was on watch, she'd rather startle them now, when she was expecting it.
She flipped on the lights and waited, listening. Nothing.
Peering inside, she saw a mostly empty warehouse and an assortment of standard-issue boxy wooden crates, all the same size. Was that really how furniture was stored and shipped?
The Moon Cat crept into the building, drawing the door behind her to a point that was almost closed but not quite latched. Better to be sure it didn't lock itself, just in case she needed to make a swift exit. Her enhanced hearing could not pick up any trace of movement. There was no one here.
She slid around the edge of the open space, scanning for signs of business activities. There were fire extinguishers on the walls, but no safety instructions, no evacuation plans. A small desk held a phone, but no strongbox, no paperwork, no shipping manifests. The trash can by its side was filled with toothpicks, chewing gum, and peanut shells, but no notes, no receipts. What sort of operation was this?
Well, there was one obvious place left to look. She'd have to check inside a crate.
While she was no stranger to wielding a crowbar, that kind of snooping would be a lot harder to hide. It was better to poke around and see if she could find something that hadn't been fully sealed up yet. The Moon Cat stalked from place to place, shoving at the tops of crates. At last, a lid shifted. Feeling smug, she eased the heavy cover over to peer inside.
"Shit."
She hadn't wanted to speak aloud. She also very much hadn't wanted to find what she'd found: guns. Way too many guns. Whatever Haruka's bosses were up to, it was worse than she'd thought.
What could she do now? She couldn't let Haruka keep working at that store, innocent and unaware. This many weapons spelled out either 'gang war' or 'police raid', or possibly both. Best case, Haruka might be arrested as an accessory. Worst case, she could end up catching a bullet. But how could Minako get her out without explaining what she knew and how she knew it?
She needed to confess, but she couldn't. She never could.
No, she was more clever than any ordinary criminal. She could come up with some wacky scheme to get Haruka safely out of the way and then shut down this operation. Or maybe she could end the mess right now! If the storehouse *burned*, even partly, their cover would be blown, and the gang would be too busy trying to salvage their affairs to worry about Haruka.
Fire. But first, she'd better go over the place more closely to be absolutely sure no one was trapped or asleep on the premises -
Only her exceptional hearing saved her. Instinct, faster than thought, made her duck and roll out of the way of a dark shape that had swung feet-first from the rafters to strike at her.
"You!"
"The Moon Cat. So this is your operation," growled the newcomer. He was a slender man in an all-concealing black costume, like Minako's, except where hers supported her curves and was topped with cute little cat ears, his looked more like military combat gear, except for the black cape and the pattern of the Manta Ray across his chest. His face was completely masked, with reflective lenses over his eyes. Even his voice was electronically distorted. He was the most notorious vigilante crimefighter in the city, and the absolute last person she'd wanted to see tonight.
"My 'operation'? I broke in here fair and square, just like you did," Minako replied, circling back away from her opponent. How had he gotten in here anyway? She risked a glance to the side - the door she'd propped looked untouched. He must have come in from the roof somehow. The Manta Ray loved that sort of dramatic appearance.
"You expect me to believe that?"
"Come on, Sweet Baby Ray. You know me. I'm a thief, not a gunrunner. I came in here looking for the cash, but these misers aren't keeping any here. I was just on my way out. No harm no foul, right?" Minako teased, while surreptitiously checking her gear for the item she really had been planning to use before the Ray's interruption.
"You admit you're a thief."
"Who hasn't stolen anything tonight. Haven't done anything you haven't done. *Yet.*" Finding the ignition button at last, she activated the mini-firebomb. "Catch!" And she threw it - not directly at the Manta Ray, of course, she didn't want him hurt, she just wanted him distracted - and dove for the door.
She couldn't afford to worry too much about what was happening behind her. She had to keep running. She had to get away.
And as for her ever-delayed confession, the things she needed to tell Haruka... well, for now, she had to keep running.
---
Outside, dawn was lightening the sky.
In here, the caves beneath the earth, the only lighting was artificial: the thin buzz of fluorescent tubes, the glow of computer screens, and the headlights of the sleek black car coming to a halt.
The Manta Ray stepped out of the vehicle. There was no need to close the door; no one else would ever come here. The fish tanks were waiting. There were several of them kept down here, fish who didn't enjoy a great deal of light and preferred the quiet of the underground. Their motions were always relaxing to watch.
So many buckles to undo. So much armor to remove. Another night's work to be set aside.
Michiru Kaioh pulled herself free of the armored vest that flattened her figure and allowed herself to take a single deep breath in gratitude for the increased sense of freedom. Of course, she could never be truly free.
She pressed a hand against the cool glass, staring at her fingers, the fingers that everyone around her expected to be so fragile.
"I am the night," she whispered.
HEAR ME OUT HEAR ME OUT
You're the head cheerleader at UA.
We're gonna say its UA university, so like class 4-A.
Bakugou is your boyfriend
He plays on the football team 😫
But he got suspended for a little because he saw Deku (yes I'm adding Deku in this, @ me why dont you)
Deku plays on the rival team, he switched schools cause he felt like he wasnt reaching his full potential.
Bakugou basically broke Deku's mf leg, it's a surprise he wasnt kicked off the team, but the he's the star player.
The only reason the UA football team is even in the nationals is cause of Bakugou.
Anyway, Kiri and Sero were roasting the absolute shit outta him for getting suspended.
"PLEASE- HE COULDN'T EVEN KEEP THE BEST SPOT ON THE TEAM KEKEKEK"
*LMAO* "DAMN BAKUBRO, YOU GOT FLAMED"
Bakugou was ready to blast all their asses to the moon and back, until Denki said that he probably couldnt even keep a spot on the cheer squad, it's even more brutal than football and the outfits are too risque.
It went dead silent when poor bby said that, cause everyone knew not to challenge Bakugou.
He immediately stood up from his spot on the couch in the study hall, marching over to Denki and grabbing him by the collar.
"More brutal than football? Hah, you're out of your goddamn mind, Sparky. I can do that shit anyday, even in that girly ass skirt."
Denki smirked
"Wanna bet?"
And that's how he found himself wearing a custom made UA cheer uniform, face red in embarrassment but still determined to not chicken out. If he got through this, he'd get $50 from everyone in the squad except for Mina
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
When Bakugou had come to you, red in the face and hands shaking in embarrassment, asking for a cheer uniform, you almost passed out in shock.
The Katsuki Bakugou, star Football player, top of his class in strength and brains, wanted to cheer? Nah, you were buggin. He wouldn't tell you why, only a harsh, "You gonna give me the uniform or not?" Before giving you a quick and kind of violent kiss on the cheek, scampering off with the bright orange fabric in his hands.
Leading up to the big game for the finals, he would hang around during practice and watch you command the girls, having them jump and twist into complicated positions. You spot him peeping and called him over, teasingly asking him if he could do a cartwheel, not expecting him to actually do one. He has almost perfect form, a little wobbly on the drop down but beautiful nonetheless. You pursed your lips, looking him up and down before clapping your hands loudly, causing him to jump.
"Change of plans, ladies! We now have a new member joining the team, at least for the game next week. I'll need you to be understanding and patient in teaching him the routine, and no making fun!!"
The other girls nod understandingly, surrounding him despite his yells and protests.
You smirk to yourself.
This is gonna be so much fun.
♡♡
A week passes, and you're in the changing room with the girls, handing out their uniforms. You get to the bottom of the bin, and realize theres a pantsuit. You widen your eyes in shock. If the pantsuit is in there, than that means-
"Y/N IM GOING TO KILL YOU"
Shit.
You jog out of the locker rooms, looking around until you see a shaking head of ash blonde hair. You make your way over to him, stifling a laugh when you see him wearing large sweats, the outline of the orange skirt peeking out. He doesnt have a sweatshirt on, so you're blessed with the sight of his pecs and abs bulging out, sweat already dripping down his body due to the heat of the stadium and the embarrassment racking his body.
"I'm so sorry, Katsu. I didnt realize I gave you the girl version of the uniform."
He scoffs, subconsciously reaching up to tug at the crop top.
"Just get me the damn boy version, you shitty-"
"ALRIIIGHT EVERYONE, ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE!!"
You both jump at the sound of the announcers voice, the crowd roaring back.
"WELL THEN GET READY, FOLKS. WE HAVE A WONDERFUL PREFORMANCE FROM THE UA CHEER SQAUD. GIVE EM A HAND."
You look at Bakugou in apology, before rushing the girls out, gesturing for him to hurry as you run out onto the field, the UA side cheering loudly while the rival team boos. Bakugou let's out a huff, shoving his sweats down and running out with you, not looking up. The minute the crowd sees him running with you, the stadium fills with laughter and wolf whistles, some of his teammates fanning themselves in mockery. He growls at them, intimidating but not scary due to the bright orange crop top and skirt he's donning.
The music starts and everyone gets into formation, Bakugou at the far right and you at the left. You start to do your routine, shaking your hips and yelling along to the music, moving around and doing flips. You form a pyramid, Bakugou on the base and you somewhat in the middle. The top girl flips off, does a twirl in the sir and lands in front of you, shouting the UA cheer before you all follow suit, cheering on your team while shimmying around. You turn to see how Bakugou is doing during the end, and the sight that greets you is heaven;
He's heaving for hair, sweat slicking down his hair and dripping down his abs, the skirt flowing and moving along with his thick thigh, which tremble from exertion. He's panting hard, eyebrows furrowed as he tries to nail a pose, wobbling slightly. You gulp hard, shaking your head to clear the thoughts starting to surface, thoughts of fucking him in that uniform, sucking his cock from under the skirt, riding him in your uniform, lifting the hem to see where you're connected. Ripping the crop top to see his puffy nipples, making him moan and tremble underneath you from the pleasure, calling him a cute little slut for wearing that little piece of fabric.
You break from your thought when the music cuts out, roars and screams deafening, even the opposing team cheering for you and the beefy man in the skirt.
You all bow and trot off the center felikd, making your way to the benches you drink water before the team starts playing. Bakugou makes his way over to you, gulping down water from his bottle. Some of it spills out his mouth, rolling down his throat, scattering when his Adam's apple bobs. It makes a trail into the swell of his pecs, disappearing. You look up his body slowly, face heating in embarrassment when you meet his eyes, a cocky smirk on his face when he realizes you were ogling him.
"Ya see sumthin' you want, Baby?"
You grit your teeth at him, grabbing his collar and dragging him off into the space between the bleachers.
He sputters at you when you reach under his skirt and grab the barely concealed bugle there, smirking up at him.
"See sumthin you want, Baby?"
You taunt, rubbing him through the fabric of his boxers.
He groans from above you, muttering out a breathy "Its from adrenaline-"
Before pushing his lips against yours, sucking your lip into his mouth while his hips stutter against your hands. You pull away, grinning when you see him chase your lips.
"Are you sure it's from adrenaline, or is it cause you were prancin around out there like some pretty little whore, hm?"
Bakugou clenches his eyes shut, blushing hard and growling low in his throat.
"Shut the fuck up. I didnt do it for that-"
"Well you still did it, and you looked so good, too, 'Suki. Wanted to suck your cock the whole time."
He whimpers at that, hips moving forward to push against your hand more, pre leaking out and making his boxers sticky against your palm.
"Mm, you like that? Like me praising you? Calling you a good boy and telling you how much I wanted your fat cock shoved down my throat? "
His head falls against your shoulder, moaning into the side of your neck as his balls tighten, cum soaking his boxers and dripping out onto your hand. You lick up his neck, making him shudder.
"There you go, pretty boy."
♡♡
When the game is over, he stomps over to the squad, snatching their money aggressively before making him way back to you, scowling when you land a harsh smack against his ass.
"Is it just me, or is Bakugou glowing?"
♡♡♡
@hanji-is-life your Bakugou in a skirt inspired me to write this Bakugou in a skirt.
