there's still 4 hours to go until the thing i'm doing today starts, so i'd like to share my prediction that the next portuguese win in eurovision will be in 2032, and i know exactly who it will be and the aesthetic of the staging

ok so i was thinking about Mimicat's performance, and realised who it reminded me of: Suzy, our 2014 entry

Suzy was super hyped in the esc crowd, one of the three divas of that year along with Ruth and Conchita, and she placed 11th, missing out on the final by ONE point. Nine years later Mimicat makes it to the final, so the only logical conclusion is that in 9 years we will send another blonde in red and she'll WIN

and who will that blonde be? Catarina Pereira, who placed 2nd in the RTP song selection contest in 2010 when she SHOULD HAVE WON BTW but the juries robbed her, and who again placed 2nd in 2014

so my prediction is that Catarina Pereira will bleach her hair and come back in 2032, finally win her deserved RTP song contest and bring that second esc win home

edit: wait no, it could be Zana instead with her going for the red aesthetic next time.... this prediction needs work...
