Concept: Fighting Styles
Tom being the best fighter for a while in s1 not because he was technically skilled, but because he was reckless. For a group not used to having to fight or die, as a zombie he didn't feel the same strain on his body as he fought.
Heavier swords, more power behind his movements, less pain after each hit taken. Tom took over the battlefield because he was a zombie, unable to feel the consequences of his reckless, destructive behavior.
Which is why, when the playing field was leveled through gear and improvement, Tom started to fall behind in combat prowess. Why Jordan began to outmatch Tom.
Jordan was pure technical skill. He was meticulous and methodic in his practice, preferring the discipline of bows over the raw power of swords. He took his time, planned his blows, and knew where to best hit his opponent. Tom didn't feel pain as much as the others, but a good strike still would take him down and have him grit his teeth.
Tucker focused on his swordsmanship and working shields into his style. If Tom was sheer force, Tucker was a solid defense. The first time Tucker blocked Tom's sword and held firm, a shift happened between them. It wasn't Tom dominating every fight anymore. It was a genuine battle, an actual dance of blades.
Sonja isn't a fighter, but she's quick and agile. Unless she has to make a stand, she runs, darting between trees and bushes and rocks and leaving people behind in a daze of twists and turns. When she has to fight it's with a single shortsword, allowing her to sneak in quick, shallow hits that wear you down over time. Against Tom, she is at a disadvantage, but if need be she can work to wear him down until one of the others arrives.
Wag doesn't fight in any traditional means. He is a magic user through and through, even when stripped of it. With his magic he is a force to be reckoned with, able to conjure up a quick defense or blast out a strong offense. Without it, he works on deceptions and slight of hand. It's similar to magic, really, all about getting the opponents focus away from what you're really trying to do. While his form with a sword is sloppy at best and his bow aim is barely there, as long as he can get you distracted he stands a fighting chance. And if things go south, one good misdirect is all he needs to a quick exit.

A headcanon I have for Mianite is that, alongside the other holidays in their calenders, the solistices and the equinoxes are treated with festival celebrations.
The Summer Solstice is a Mianitee holiday, the Winter Solstice a Dianitee holiday. Though it isn't odd for Mianitees and Dianitees to celebrate both holidays, even if the way they celebrate is very different.
The Equinoxes are both Ianitee holidays. Whether the autumn or the spring is more important varies from place to place.

So, I have no idea how well it lines up with canon, but my theory/personal headcanon for Capsize's failed revival is that being killed in Dianite's temple kinda made her a sacrifice to Dianite. At least, she’s close enough to the prayer room when she dies for Dianite to take her soul as if she was a purposeful sacrifice. This puts her soul in an iffy place when it comes to revival, since it means that her soul is in Dianite's control rather than Ianite's.
Now obviously Dianite is dead by the time that Capsize is revived, but Tom almost immediately becomes Mecha Dianite which presumably comes with some power. Tom doesn't quite understand what powers he had and I think when Ianite tries to call Capsize's spirit he subconsciously clings to it, which results in the revival failing. In my own personal headcanon it causes her soul to shatter because of two weakened gods unintentionally fighting over it, but I don't think the ultimate result is more important than her whole soul not making it back into her body, which is why she lacks any control over it when we know sentient undead exist in the Mianite Season 1 World (namely Tom and Rupert the Grey).
Again, I’m not 100% sure how this lines up with canon, but Capsize’s death was lame in canon so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
!!! YOOO I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I’m honestly inclined to believe this as canon seein as that we never got any other explanation
It actually lines up with canon pretty well, the idea there can different places a soul goes/is taken possession of in the afterlife, like with Rux!Dia who could be a ghost (I mean that couldve been just a god thing, but im choosing to believe it has to do with this spirt realms difference thing) v. like mc animals that die that all trace of them are gone or like the concept of players being able to respawn after being killed
Im really so interested in the fact that a god takes the possession of the soul of whoever/whatever is sacrified to them, that it sorta implies that maybe if Tom, upon becoming mecha dianite, was the one to revive her, instead of Ianite trying to pull a part of the attached bit away from him (albiet he didnt realize) she might’ve come back more normally? But it really makes so much sense as to why she didnt come back properly if it was Ianite could only get apart of her bc of this fighting thing that happens

Martha Conway cannot see the future with the help of a crystal ball, however she can do some sick ass tricks with one. She can also do coin tricks, although she’s very bad with any tricks involving cards.

Mianite Arcane au. Is this anything.
also I'm using silly silly things from league of legends lore. because i want to. and fuck you (I'm linking to the wiki for sillies) (also i havent gotten around to s2 of arcane yet this would take place in a time similar to arcane s1)
Mianite and Dianite are masquerading as the Elite of Piltover, people with a lot of money but incredibly private lives. Nobody knows what they look like or even what exactly they do, just that they're powerful. Ianite was previously the same, though she vanished without a trace and nobody seemed to notice.
Tom is based in Zaun, he's a Revenant whose object is his own body, which is unfortunately still very dead even if it isn't rotting anymore. He takes on a more chaotic and almost robin-hood role, causing chaos wherever he goes and leaving a trail of destruction to distract from his true motives. He loves to push at Tucker, pressing his buttons and teasing him for being Piltover's golden boy. My my how far we've fallen, hm? Is it still falling if you're moving up, Jericho?
They have quite a lot of history, but I'll get into the nitty gritty of that later. The short of it is that Tucker was there when Tom died, he tried to save him and failed, and now Tom's desperately trying to return the favor.
Sonja is based in Piltover, she's a Vesani who met Tucker after she was shot out of a Hexgate and chased down by Piltover law enforcement. She met Tucker through him hiding her from prying eyes after she got lost in Piltover's maze of back streets. They've become quite close, especially with how most other Piltover residents are to those they perceive as "other" and her first introduction to the city. This negative view of her has led Sonja to investigate matters outside of the public eye more while Tucker takes the limelight. Zaun is much more interesting than she was first led to believe, after all.
She has a sibling, Aeon. There's silly things going on in that direction.
Tucker is, as previously implied, a Human based in Piltover and the main face of Mianite's business and visible interactions with the world. He's Tom's opposite, and they're always at odds. It's almost a dance, their interactions, pushing and pulling each other right up to that line but never quite crossing it. He and Sonja are very close, with him having found and brought her back to safety after seeing her shot out of a hexgate.
The Kikoku is
His main weapon is a sword given to him by his Patron. He never goes anywhere without it anymore, and seems ill at ease if it's too far from him.
His hair is turning black at the roots, and he seems both more and less fidgety than before.
Jordan is a traveler who arrived by ship, a Human with distant Strig ancestry awarding him with scales and horns along with a tail. He's well on his way to being classified as Ascended, though he's lost a significant portion of his memory. He's called "The Captain" by most who know him and seems more interested in the Arcane than any conflicts between Piltover and Zaun, as if he hears something calling him.
All he knows for sure is that there's something misaligned here, and it's slowly poisoning the well -- so to speak.

MCYT RELIGIOUS GUILT OFF R1 MATCH 14
CAPTAINSPARKLEZ (MIANITE) VS PIXLRIFFS (EMPIRES SMP SEASON 1)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CaptainSparklez: "he technically invented (Lady Ianite) and he's never had the chance to properly serve and protect her. she was locked away in the first world and he only just got her back a s they were told to take a "leap of faith" and jump into the void, he never really got the chance to know her. and in the second world, he was just a poor replacement for her husband and again, never really got the chance to be her champion. and then she died, in front of him, and he still thinks it's his fault"
Pixlriffs: "Pix was the caretaker of the Vigil (which is a shrine dedicated to the deaths on the server), and immediately after helping to kill the Ender Dragon, he exiles himself because he doesn't feel worthy of being the keeper of the Vigil or the Copper King anymore. One of the most common headcanons is that his disappearance from Empires S1 is because he went on a second exile for the same reason."

Here is a Minecraft deities/entities list I have created for myself but that I tought might help out others so I am putting it here... It's a mix canon headcanons, theories and interpretations so everyone is free to disagree with stuff, also keep in mind I am not into all these series so I am not an expert and a lot of these was made through research.
Creation deities and fundamental concepts of the universe:
Mojang/Minecraft/Microsoft - triple faced embodyiment of existance.
Hatsume Miku - canon creator of Minecraft apparently.
Clara - goddess of space.
Wendarr The Timekeeper - god of time.
Sad ist - goddess of lore (not canon but I find it funny so I am keeping it here).
Joehills - as Joehills, also a Joehills.
Molympus Slimecicle - God of magic, enchanting and crafting.
Molympus Condi - god of dimensions.
Light associated deities:
Jeb - creator and god of colours, probably inventor of light.
Aeor - reindeer deity of light and good.
BdoubleO - as god of the sun, possibly a god of rulers (he is the kingmaker after all).
Darkness associated deities:
Exor - god of darkness and evil.
The World Historian - god of the void.
Null - god of emptyness, the lack of existance.
Life/nature/earth deities:
Prime - goddess of Life and possibly Fortune.
Velara The Benevolent - goddess of health, healing, regeneration, possibly growth.
PearleascentMoon/Santa Perla - goddess of agricolture and fertility, possibly goddess of the moon. (Agricultural cycles used to be measured using the moon cycle in the past so not too unlikely).
The Goat goddess (the perimeter one)- mostly a goddess of redstone but also goddess of tomatoes and fertility.
Molympus Grizzly - god of nature and tools.
Molympus Blitzy - god of mobs and animals.
Death/rebirth gods and entities:
Kristin - goddess of death and depending on interpretation the afterlife.
PhilZa - The angel of death.
Foolish - as the totem god of undying, is also a sky god and a sea god.
Lady Irene - I am not sure exactly about her domain but I am putting her here because it fits the themes.
Shad the destroyer - could have put him with the chaos gods but this feels like a better placement.
XD - as the god of Limbo, is also the main dsmp god and possibly a god of dreams.
Chaos gods:
Dianite - god of chaos and the Nether, also a god of trade and thievery.
Entity 404 - entity of pandemonium, somewhere between god and demon.
The blood god - pretty self explanatory.
Idona the malevolent - goddess of conflict and war or murder(?). Possibly a goddess of retribution like Nemesis in greek mythology.
Drista - goddess of mischief, pranks and levity (I think?).
The egg - who tought to create a sentient parasitic red egg is either a genius or insane lmao.
Herobrine - as creator/entity/deity of monsters, also possibly a god of mist.
Sky and water deities:
Jimmy - as demigod of rivers, possibly also a Listener.
Axolotl Lizzy - demigoddess of the ocean.
S2 Joel - god of the sky.
The Sky Gods (Wilbur Soot random items videos)
Foolish - as a sea and a sky god, also totem god of undying.
Herobrine - as possibly the god of mist, also creator/entity/deity of monsters.
Order gods:
Mianite - god of order, law and the Overworld.
BdoubleO - as possibly the god of rulership, also sun god.
Cucurucho - as rule enforcer entity...thing, also Qsmp entity.
Neutral gods and entities:
Ianite: Goddess of balance and the end.
Gray forester: Grayscale entity.
Tenos The Omniscient- god of experience, knowledge and wisdom.
Eldritch gods:
Grian - Watcher.
Martyn - Listener.
Jimmy - as possibly a Listener, also a demigod of rivers.
Joehills - as Joehills, also a Joehills.
Server gods and entities:
XD - as main god of the dsmp, also god of Limbo and possibly a god of dreams.
Callahan - minor dsmp deity.
Tubbo - main god of the Bear smp.
Cucurucho and Other Qsmp entities.

hello i voted for flower husbands and i would like your opinion about the watchers and their relation to empires =D /nf /lh
Tumblr media
OKAY SO this is gonna be so weird to explain bc I'm the type of person that lovesss to relate all my fave smps (i have some art of this but haven't drawn them all yet so ill show off what i do have)
I have the headcanon that the Mianite godly champions are actually the so called "gods" we have in empires one, so for example, Sonja - I see her as Aeor, she's the champion of Mianite meant to represent all "good" and orderly in the world.
Whereas I headcanon Syndicate as Exor, Champion of Dianite meant to represent chaos and destruction.
WHICCCHH leads me to the watchers, in Mianite there is a third champion - Jordan who is champion of Ianite, Ianite in the beginning is known kinda as the "forgotten goddess" and its this whole thing where Jordan like brings her back and thats why they're so loyal to each other, she ALSO represents the end which i heavily associate with The Watchers
SO i have the headcanon that when Ianite is corrupted by the flux and eventually dies, the creations she makes during that time IS the watchers, corrupted beings who were meant to be there to help Jordan and ended up becoming too corrupt to understand their original purpose.
So thats how I link all my worlds together.
I love Mianite
Also I've only drawn Sonja's design before so hopefully this suffices for propaganda LOL
Tumblr media
ANYWAYS VOTE FLOWER HUSBANDS !!!

Wait wait, what was that in your tags about Jordan also being a champion of a god/god's?? I require more information please, if you'd like to share your headcanons
i. don't know that much about mianite! that's not my side of fandom. however i DO know that like, directly and canonically, jordan is a champion of... i think ianite... there.
what i'm saying is that i think captain sparklez shows up at vault hunters, takes one look at iskall, squints, and goes "...dude." on realizing that guy is ALSO connected to at least one overarching god and that he is now going to have to deal with yet another pantheon of weird guys. and then he and iskall bond about this because of course they do, iskall has fully latched onto jordan as one of his weird little guys and jordan has happily let him, you know how it is.

Idk if I’ve asked this already but do you have any c!Karl headcanons from Mianitian Isles? Not many people talk about him and it’s sad
My headcanons for Karl are ALL over the place. I'd always been a big Tom watcher, but I always tried to make a point to watch Karl too.
In terms of hc's tho, my biggest is that Karl was ACTUALLY the first on the Isles. Yes, yes, I know it was Tom but shhh, wouldn't it make more sense for Tom and Jordan- after being launched back in time- to have arrived at a place that already had people?
(As a sidenote- I hc that the gods didn't actually appear on the Isles until AFTER Tom appeared, drawn by the presence of someone with energy SO similar to Dianite's but not)
I also put Karl as a lot older than the others. Late 30's, early 40's. My thought is that he came from a very small, close-knit family. His family was migrating and he was supposed to go out and scout out ahead of the group to find a good place to settle. He found the Isles, a place where only the Light and Darkness had often ventured and eventually settled- hence why Yggdrasil is there and all the lore places are so close.
As a result of living in such a small group, Karl didn't have to do much fighting. He was pure survival and relationship based, which is why he isn't as up to snuff at fighting as Jordan and Tom.
In terms of faith, I think- had Aianite been around at the time- he would have followed Aianite. In fact, his family likely would have had a long tradition of following Aianite.
Instead, Karl is picked up by Mianite because Karl *radiates* life. That, and Mianite wasn't used to someone actually following him, so was desperate to keep Karl on his side.
Skipping waaaaay ahead, with Karl being the one to hold back the Darkness, and to accidentally 'give in' to the Darkness back when the three were tested, I think Karl actually has a closer affinity to Darkness than either Jordan or Tom. (Which would be why the Darkness was trying to tempt Jordan to their side- it wasn't natural to Jordan despite how willing he was to toe the line)
My thoughts are like, all over the place but feel free to ask specific questions if you'd like

One of my headcanons for post timeline Capsize is that she has cleithrophobia (fear of being trapped). I say for the post time line, because while I think was still present during her original life it was more just a fear, something she found uncomfortable, rather than a full on phobia.
On Ianerea, her nerves with being trapped never really turned many heads. It was common enough in Ianitee legends for those with connections to the goddess to be uncomfortable in small spaces or when they were kept away from the sky. Though her fear started before her connection to Ianite, she was always glad for the cover the stories gave her.
However, after her imprisonment by Dianite, it became significantly worse. Admittedly, she didn’t realise this for quite a while since she died not long after said imprisonment started. But the moment her spirit started to become aware, the mere idea of being trapped or locked in started bothering her.
As a spirit, it’s an uncontrollable panic reaction. Her thoughts are messy and fleeting and all she knows is that she needs to know where an exit is. This mostly manifests in her opening every door Spark attempts to close to the man’s exhaustion. He assumes this is just typically ghost behaviour rather than something she's doing by choice. Until he gets himself locked in one of the old vaults and Capsize goes full poltergeist until the entrance is broken open.
He starts treating the constantly re-opening doors with less frustration after that.
Post revival, she’s better at hiding her panic. Though frustratingly she's far more aware of it bothering her. In all honesty, she feels embarrassed about the problems she’s having that she previously didn’t. Her missing memories were bad enough, the fact that she can feel her breath catching in her throat if she can’t find the exit to a room almost feels maddening.
In general, it annoys her as it’s a clear sign to her that she isn’t fine. That everything that happened to her has had an effect and she needs to actually confront that. So she tries to just sweep it into one of the many things she’s ignoring to feel more like her old self. Unfortunately, Sonja and Spark have decided this is an unhealthy coping mechanism and are insisting on actually trying to find a healthier one for her.

no court can be complete without Mianite's star builders, so meet the Fyerians- Matt Firez, Phil Brute Almighty, the iconic "Killer"Tom, and the starwizard Waglington! :D
Bonus lore and dev under the cut!
No one's sure exactly where or how they came to be but they are known as the most magical beings across the vast Aether, drawing energy from the stars to do something no starborne has done before- a reality manipulation of the state of space matter (or in the case of Wag, create it out of pure energy) Luckily for us, they put these powers to good use for such purposes as turning piles of debris into the most grandiose of builds, including newer parts of the king's palace itself (designed by their good friend and architect associate Sonja! :])
Matt and Phil were was the first to be hired by Mianite after they just sort of appeared out of the Aether together from No Planet In Particular, and serve as the head engineers. Tom comes out of the void a little later to join them as a designer and power specialist, and Waglington (having had no proper family as starwizards are born directly from a fragment off the central star) was adopted by the trio, and theyve been a family ever since :D
While Waglington and other starwizards (such as Martha) draw their magic abilities to craft matter from their actual internal organs (channeled through the beads on his waistband), the other Fyerians all have a glowing white star embedded to somewhere on their torso created from a similar magic that allow them to draw magic from for block duplication, moving whole structures, etc. Their soul is also encased within these crystalline growths, so if they were to get damaged...

Still love that one old headcanon that was flying around a while ago that DSMP!Tubbo is the child of Mianite!Syndisparklez. Because it makes so much fucking sense. Where did Tubbo learn how to make nukes? His insane father! Why is he such a little gremlin sometimes? His other insane father!
