Franco’s mom on him moving to Europe at just 14 years old

The goodbye was really tough. Honestly, the memories are painful. It was sad, and on top of that, he… he wasn’t doing well because… he was only 14, and honestly, it was… it was really hard for him. I mean, he really wasn’t prepared. To be honest, in that sense, I do… I think I’m pretty self-critical. You raise them the way you think is right, but he didn’t really have the “tools.” Suddenly, he had to figure out things like cooking for himself, doing his laundry—he wasn’t ready for that, and he had to learn the hard way. So for me, being on the other end of the phone, having to explain to him how to wash a pair of underwear or how to make some pasta, it was really hard. It caused me a lot of anguish, honestly. His 14th year was incredibly hard. For all of us, not just for me.

Imagine letting your son, still so young, move to another continent, hours away by plane, because it's the only way for him to achieve his dream. Honestly, I can't stop thinking about it-—we don't talk enough about how brave she was. I can't even imagine how hard that must have been as a mom. I don't think my own mom would've let me do something like that. She looks like really sad when she thinks back to those memories I just want to give her a hug 🥺

Si el mundo gira y tú giras conmigo, y no aún lado, sino vas enfrente jalándome y demostrándome que lo nuestro siempre vale la pena.

Eres una de las decisiones más hermosas que he tomado y una de las cuales no me arrepiento.

Y habrá veces donde te quiero matar y tal vez tu igual, y entiendo que no es facil vivir con alguien cómo yo, pero amo la forma en que hemos podido salir de todas las dificultades.

Es un privilegio tenerte todos los días, y aunque por cosas de trabajo no puedo verte o pasar todo el día contigo, se que pensarás en mí cómo yo pienso en ti.

Y se que siempre va ver algo o alguien que no les guste nuestra forma de amarnos, pero gracias a Dios hemos sido fuerte ante las tentaciones y envidias. Y por eso se que llegaremos juntos hasta que nuestro cabellos tinten de blanco, y la verdad eso sería una belleza de la vida.

Guys I got to see Les Mis live after only seeing the 2012 movie a gazillion times and....oml it was actually so fantastic

The way the lights flashed to each character on the barricade as they died was actually so cool (and heartbreaking, i cant believe i didn't cry)

And the way they did Javert's suicide scene!!! It was genius I loved it so much

All of the actors were so fantastic and talented and I'm so thankful I got to see it
