—Tengo hambre, papá —Remus greeted, clattering into the kitchen with Sirius after a long day of messing around in the woods. Sirius had transformed into Padfoot, forcing Remus to chase him along dog trails as they swerved past flabbergasted locals. Sirius had found it far more amusing than Remus had, but that was because Remus actually knew and respected other people. The only people Sirius cared about in this idyllic village were Remus and his parents.

—¿Cocinas algo bueno? —Remus continued—, ¿Y cuándo podemos comer? Pronto, por favor di pronto.

—No seas codicioso —Lyall laughed, tousling his son’s hair before going back to stirring whatever was in the pan. Remus scoffed, and moved to help his father in his eagerness to eat.

Sirius grinned at the werewolf’s endearingly constant appetite, because even if he couldn’t understand their conversation, he understood Remus.

Although he might’ve stood a chance joining in if they didn’t speak so fast. His Spanish wasn’t that bad. But no, for some reason, people fluent in Spanish insisted on speaking at the speed of light, sounding so hot as words rolled off their tongue that it was impossible to focus. On top of this, it was Remus and an older version of Remus sounding hot, so Sirius was suffering from overwhelming attraction.

Eventually, Lyall had enough of Remus’s attempts to help, so Remus rolled his eyes and sat down, gesturing for Sirius to stop standing about like a lemon and sit next to him. Remus nudged him, “Tired? That’s what you get for being a mangy mongrel all day.”

“I’m not tired,” Sirius refuted. “Just a bit dizzy trying to keep up with your stupid Spanish.”

“Oh, so it’s stupid, is it?” Remus teased. “So you’re not getting dizzy because you find it attractive? I wouldn’t blame you, it is a Romance language—”

“Shut up, you self-obsessed Mexican,” and before Remus could retort, Sirius excitedly realised, “You said, ‘tengo hambre’, right?” He grinned smugly, and pointed with an all-knowing forefinger, “That means ‘I have hunger.’”

Remus burst out laughing, and Sirius frowned. But then Remus nodded, and swallowed his laughter, “Don’t worry, Pads, you got it right. Although do people go around saying ‘I have hunger,’ or ‘I’m hungry,’ I wonder?”

Sirius shoved him. “One day, I’ll learn fluent Spanish, and when I speak to your parents, you’ll be the one who’s lost.”

Remus studied him for a moment, shoving him but not moving back, so their shoulders were pressed together. “I look forward to it.”

Okay, hear me out

Marauders Yuri on Ice AU. Or just ice skater AU, I guess

Regulus Black is a promising French figure skater, but he can never shine as brightly as his brother, Sirius Black

Sirius has become world champion several times, but lately, he's been feeling uninspired and wonders whether he should retire. He decides to take the season off and becomes James' coach

James started his career late but is quickly becoming one of the most prominent figure skaters in the world. When Sirius offers to be his coach, he accepts, and is determined to take the gold medal during the Grand Prix Finals

Of course, Regulus is angry with Sirius for choosing to be James' coach and not his. He decides that he'll take the gold and prove to the world that he's a much better figure skater than Sirius

After that, I don't know. There will definitely be Jegulus and Black brothers angst. Wolfstar is a must have, but I'm not sure what role Remus would have. Maybe he's an ice skater himself? Or Regulus' coach?

James does the Huapango dance (I have no idea if I'm using the term correctly, lmk PLEASE) w someone COUGH Regulus is both memorized and jealous COUGH and Sirius is like, wtf that's so cool teach me.

So James would ofc, start teaching Sirius the dance. COUGH Remus is slightly jealous at the proximity and he kinda hates himself for it COUGH so it's fairly normal to see them dance in the dorms.

Sirius gets pretty good from so much practice sorry Remus, I wouldn't say he's perfect but James is def proud.

There's also the prongsfoot route, James is falling in love with Sirius because the close proximity is making him realize how gorgeous he is!! Also, James appreciates how Sirius is taking the time to learn a bit of his culture, a bit too much appreciation perchance... Then Sirius is blushing cause of all the touching (which obviously he's not used to) and close proximity (he was always in love).

Being pureblood and all, James and Sirius were probably taught to dance...the elite way?? Idk, but the point is, can't really use the teaching the other how to dance troupe cause they already know. But then I remembered POC James so here we are.

I want a BrzRemus and MexJames fighting in there mother tongue. And they understand eachother.

I want FrSirius to chime in for no other reasons then chaos knowing that all the boys understood eachother, and just start confessing his love for Remus bc chaos.

So the arguing changes to a screaming match about Pokemon to James confessing his love for Lily and Remus confessing his love for chocolat Sirius. But still "arguing".

And so BrzRemus ,FrSirius and MexJames keep on "arguing" with no other purpose then to keep screaming at this point.

Arrive GrmPeter, he does not understand the move, except for Sirius cuz its basics for Sirius to be Sirius. But want to feel included so he start "arguing" too, Sirius style, with them, and scream about how lovly Marys hair was and how he would like to give her gifts bc she is awsome.

So in the common room we would find 4 radio boomboxes in Spanish, Brazilian/Prt, French and German on how much they love thier SO.

so there is this song called Simplemente Amigos and it’s the most wolfstar song to ever wolfstar and it’s super popular with mexican moms but there is this rumor where Ana the singer wrote this song about her friend and also big celebrity Veronica and how they were a couple around the 80’s but mexico wasn’t as open minded then and yeah, this SCREAMS wolfstar lmao

James and Peter used to beg Effie to make their favorite drink which was this warm milk thing(I don't know the name but it's sorta like horchata? It's a warm drink tho and there's no blending involved).

They would drink it all of November and December. When they needed comfort they would drink it. It's like what hot coco is to some people, that's what this drink was for them. The first time James made Peter try it Peter was skeptical because it just looked like milk with cinnamon and Peter dislikes milk (he makes an exception for this drink ofc). It's tradition for James and Peter to share the first mug with Effie. Later Remus and Sirius join but Peter and James make it instead while Effie sits with Remus and Sirius.

(also the stuff in it was basically white rice, milk, cinnamon sticks. The rice is cooked first with water and then when the rice is done you put milk and the sticks in( you can put cinnamon powder too I believe). Once it's warmed up/boiled or whatever then you serve it. It's so simple and so tasty. You can add sugar too but it's usually pretty sweet without it?)

I LOVE HER I LOVE HER I LOVE HER . my lily is patrilineal and struggles to find a space she truly fits into . she will never be wizard and she will never be muggle she will never be fully accepted as jewish but goyim will never accept her either . she’s desperate for a place she is validated and belongs too. constantly thinking if she’s the perfect wizard perfect daughter perfect jew she will finally earn respect just for it to never work . i think lily’s father passed away and she’s raised by her irish catholic family and while her mom supports her trying to connect to her judaism she doesn’t know how to help her . she wants to try but it isn’t the same. i think befriending remus is very cathartic for her bc she finally had a friend within judaism who 1. views her as jewish and 2. doesn’t judge her for her lack of knowledge and instead helps her grow into her faith. to me judaism is central to lily evans as a character

I promised Remus homemade tortillas, and this recipe promised to deliver. I really chose it because it didn't use baking powder like most of the other recipes I looked at — hot water we could do.

I halved this and did all the kneading by hand, so, as you could guess, the results were not exactly the most traditional. I also put very minimal effort into thinly rolling these, so they turned out a bit thicker, and, since they didn't rise as well due to my kneading technique, they were a little doughy as well. But we all know I like a little doughiness, so I didn't really mind.

Overall, due to my laziness and lack of real technique, these weren't spectacular, but honestly, I can't complain. Homemade tortillas are homemade tortillas!
