Officially introducing Flesh & Methane au!

It is a Sonic 300 years timeskip fanfiction centering around Metal Sonic and his bumpy journey to true freedom.

His or should I say HER, because yes Metal is a trans girl in this! 🏳️‍⚧️

Here's her design way into act 3, her skirt resembling wings. Symbolizing her freedom from her burden. Doves and Crows also symbolize her.

This is also a Metamega fic!!! (Metal x Omega), which is a ship nobody cares for except me it feels like but idc I'm gonna write my doomed robots. Fic is inspired by Complex Inquiries by MeaslyFurball on ao3 ( @generic-sonic-fan ), that fic is absolute cinema and genuinely one of the best experiences I've had reading a fic.

Would love to talk more about the au but I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities in the near future.

Cmon it's a fic set in a futuristic dystopia...in a abandoned facility..abt a doomed ship...with robots.

On the topic of mgr! I finally found the will again to mess around with the mgr/automata crossover au 💪 I was comparing the credits for mgr and automata since they were both cobbled together by platinum games and of course there was a lot of crossover but confirming it felt so satisfying (Wahooo- that’s why the games fit together so well! It’s like they were meant for a crossover). Alas more design thoughts for this au. I wish I finally had a tag for this stupid fucking ass idea

Talking about metal flesh au, scenario that other MC like Cade, charlie and Noah that express they worry with sam condition that keep hosting Autobots spark in his body that giving effects to sam.

They conversation will start how sad they feel for sam condition about he hosting sparks, then sam will say that lineine " it's only thing I can do for them, and to make me feel not useless " . And carlie will say that sam already useful as liaison, sam replay not enough because it will not useful in battle and he say he jealous of cade, carlie and Noah because they understand machine and can be useful for Autobots in battle.

Also sam will like challenge them if he not the ones hosting Autobots sparks who will? Noah can't doing it because he is soldier and possible end up hurting himself

Carlie is a girl and yeah, there's no way a girl willing sharing her body and privacy with bunch of male alien.

Cade, he possible next candidate but after seeing how struggle sam is, he get scare and no want end up dead soon and leave his daughter alone. Also Cade is old

Three of them willing died and get into trouble to save Autobots but none of them willing have struggle sharing a body and privacy with bunch of giant aliens.Yeah only sam is crazy enough to doing that.

But the biggest problem is that what if sam died when they war still on earth and so they need other human as they temporary vessel and Cade, carlie and Noah are knowing about they failsafe transfer, like it or not soon Autobots possible will ask them to lend their bodies to the Autobots

And this is make three humans while no want sam suffer from hosting spark, they kind hope that sam will have long life at least until cybertron war not on earth again or three humans kind hoping that they will died before sam, because they no want share they bodies, not care how close they are with Autobots scenario they share a body freak them out

I think there'd be such a tug of war over emotions and feelings on the human ally front, I can see all of them being recoiled by physical and phycological effects it has on Sam, would it be the same? would it be worse? its obviously not sustainable, and there's an argument that the autobots have been fighting for EONS without this kind of option so why have they become so dependant or reckless with it?

I could see Cade and Noah being emotionally manipulated into it, in the worse case, playing on their fears of the world and their families being killed and put in worse odds because they lost a protector in an autobot that could have been prevented via spark cohabitation that they agree, kinda like how mirage used himself to give Noah a fairer chance in battle.

I could see a Bee being strictly AGAINST the idea of Charlie being considered, compared to being begrudgingly against Sam's continued involvement, he morally and emotionally knowing their crossing lines with Sam but he is so aware what's at risk and what's on the line in war and Optimus and superiors are just to strong and steadfast in their influence over Bumblebee. He failed Sam, primus let him not fail another.

"I am the Real Sonic Now" Flesh & Bones AU lore Under the cut {+ OG sketch}:

Metal Sonic used Sonic as a skinsuit. No one knows why he did it, and when Eggman confronted him about it, he refused to acknowledge himself as "Metal Sonic" anymore. When Eggman asked why he did this, he simply replied, "Because I am the Real Sonic Now". Eggman then tried to deactivate Metal, but he disappeared the night he tried to do so. No one quite knows where he went, or what he's currently doing

AU facts: - Sonic's friends are unaware of Sonic's current state, they all just assumed he's on a vacation - Metal downloaded half of Sonic's personality into his database, meaning he gained half of Sonic's morals, personality, likes and dislikes. - Metal has a voice box, and he sounds like a distorted, robotic version of Sonic's voice - Eggman, after Metal left, went looking for him everywhere. Metal had disabled the tracking device Eggman implemented inside his code, making it harder for him to be found - Absolute Solver exists in this AU. It mysteriously seeped into Metal's code and made him do his current actions. Although it's can't control metal like how it did with Cyn Original Sketch:

GOD, OKAY UH. so like my au is technically not at all canon compatible, because of the circumstances of them being brothers, but i do think the idea of them being brothers works wonderfully in canon regardless, because we have no clue about either of their parents, and they're very brothers coded.

in my au the whole thing is dependent on doji being masamune's dad. which i do also like to hc for funsies for canon, but ultimately is nothing more than a fun what if, so bear with.

as for canon, if like... doji's son is still a thing, it would be very funny because then the dark nebula is just half a nepo organization. doji puts his children in there to work for him. masamune gets sent to america because doji doesn't want him in battle bladers, but yuu. well. yuu is like ryuuga's bestie. so he gets to stay. it's also why yuu has so many toys and gets special treatment a lot of the time. until doji shows that he is father of the year and attempts to get his son killed for losing a battle. it would make the gan gan galaxy dynamic a whole lot funnier though, because you'd still have masamune and yuu constantly at odds with each other, but now there's a layer of sibling love behind it. masamune would wreck the garcias. yuu would not be as nonchalant about masamune getting lost in russia. but still they'd be estranged, because they spent so long apart. yuu would probably have little child hatred because masamune didn't have to go through what he did. masamune would be upset on a million different levels for a million different reasons, but he's mostly mad at his dad for doing all this to his brother. SUCH FUN!

in my au specifically yuu and masamune are also age gap (half) siblings, because like yadda yadda doji divorced masamune's mom, masamune moves to japan, things happen. and like there doji has a fling with some woman that results in another child, because he's not been careful. mom of the kid dies in childbirth and now he's left with a gremlin child. masamune would've been like... at least 18 when yuu was born. so that's what we're dealing with in this au. i haven't figured out the exact age gap yet, but it's somewhere around that

masamune was actually kind of excited at the prospect of having a brother. and he does love yuu, especially because he helped raise him. they do absolutely still fight like siblings, and their dynamic is still very much like in the show because that's just their personalities for you (it also explains why yuu is the way he is. masamune is nothing if not a bad influence). yuu always jokes about being closer in age to masamune's kid than to him, and when yuu was younger people thought masamune was his dad.

What kind nails would metal Nina and Molly get?

Nina would get something super bedazzled and handpainted. lots of daggers, spiders, webs, pentagrams, etc etc. it takes hours but howdy would stop by and bring her a coffee

Mollys nails would be like this but because she doesnt cut them and theyre covered in dirt and mud and old makeup lol ORR the raptor claws LMAO

Reborn AU but they're all reincarnated innocent and without past life memories, and their incarnations usually grow up to be different people save for their core personality traits which are always there (the spark/soul) but expressed differently because of experiences and circumstances of each life. The memories only start turning up when they're adults and have lifes and careers and families.

Imagine some really horrible bots (ex. Shockwave, Tarn, Nova Prime) being reincarnated as good/normal humans, and then they start remembering their past actions.

It's a slow process. At first it manifests as bad dreams, nightmares. Flashes of places and voices, visions that don't really make sense and that are out of context. These are easy to disregard as nothing but fantasy, dreams made up by their subconscious.

Then they start to hallucinate. Memories bleed into reality, people from their memories show up as ghostly figures that are talking but can't actually be heard.

There's a craving for metal, for this substance of fuel that they've never heard of before. They catch themselves trying to transform but when they find that they can't they find themselves feeling lost and confused. What are they trying to turn into? Why does it feel so wrong to not be able to do that?

Imagine waking up in the middle of the night, out of breath, sweating, clawing at your chest because there should be a light but it's so dark and so, so empty and oh god, where is it? Where is their soul, their spark?

It feels wrong touching other people. Their soft hands, their meat and skin yielding under their touch, it feels unnatural. They are unnatural.

MURDER DRONES: METAL & FLESH AU:

So I been working on this au for awhile and I got all the main characters flush out. So let's get started!

SONIC:

Sonic used to be normal little hedgehog mobian, however he was taken away when he 8 years old by the JCJenson for their new projects. Their newest project is the cyborg transformation into murder drones. Their doing this because the resources used for making a full murder drones cost a lot of money but turning a mobian into a cyborg of one, will half the price quite a bit. Why mobians? Well in their eyes, they aren't human and hence no red tape getting cut! Sonic was put through a lot testing and prep for the transformation surgery and even that was painful. After the surgery it got worse, sonic has a install shocker in his body was forced to train overdrive and even killing poor and innocent drones. It was physically and mentally torture right there my friends. Luckily, two worker drones who found out what happen came to bust sonic out. While they were escaping, sonics shocker got permanently broken and he just finally snapped. Killing a much of guards and scientists in a blind homicidal rage. Before it got worse, two of the drones stopped him and pulled him out of the mindset. They then escape to one of killer drones pods with two others. Sonics role is a tracker, tracking down prey or targets and alerting the others.

SN-A:

A is the leader of the group. She was first ones built with fire in mind hence most of her weapons being fire base. She's cold but caring to her teammates and making sure they don't loose themselves. She likes to smoke a lot with no side effects. Still giving a much needed calming effect.

SN-B:

B is the bomb maker in the group. Give him any random materials and I bet you he'll make a bomb out of that in no time! He's a joker kind of person, having a huge attraction to bomb jokes. Yes, he's those people.

BLUE:

Blue is the engineer in the group. He was one of a few worker drones who started making personal weapons. He doesn't like humans for the longest time since he and his friend kit, were always mistreated by them. But the hold sonic situation solidify his hatred towards them more. He's a slightly agitated person, mainly focusing on upgrading weapons and making sure the pod is in good shape.

KIT:

Kit is also an engineer in the group, mainly helping blue out with some of the build projects. He was the one who found sonic in the state he was in and hatch up the escape plan to begin with. He's also the one who calm sonic down from his homicidal rage and comforting him. He's very shy and timid, mainly stayed with blue and sonic.

SHADOW & SILVER:

Theses two was found in some sleeping pods in the now abandoned space station. Theses two were transformed after sonics successfully transformed surgery was spread through the company. The two was still asleep when the humans abandoned the space station and now this group took him in. They are currently trainees, being train underneath sonic. Shadow is very aggressive weary of sonic and the others. Silver is shy and nervous around the others as well. Theses two will eventually get used to new company and even grow close to sonic.
