My Holiday art collection. I wanted to post these on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but I won’t be able to.
Anyway the bottom art is a Recolor of Vyra and Reaver wearing Yule hats while in the South Islands during Winter. (There’s a small hidden something in the sand if you look hard enough.)

Hennepin Ave Bridge, seen from the Merriam Street Bridge to Nicollet Island. The Merriam bridge dates back to 1887, the now decorative truss span is actually a saved portion of the former Broadway Ave bridge. It was moved here 100 years later in 1987. (Minneapolis, January 2024)

Today 6
The only thing I need. Faded in and out as time goes. Yet still, the only thing I need.
Tasting abandonment, relishing the quiet. Casting blame is a waste. We do the things we know we shouldn't, time and time again. The words that don't get said won't get heard, yet we're still so confused. The beating has to stop. Time will not.
A year, two, five, ten, whenever you come back, I hope you read this with a smile on your face, and I hope it's because the flowers have bloomed, and we have learned to ride the rapids. Remember the rock. It was terrifying, I've never felt more alive. I hope we see the rocks now. Far too long. Wishing for a door when we know damn well we must build it. Far too long. Waiting for a hand when we have two of our own. Awing at another man's fortune, not looking at the road ahead.
Drive on a road certain there is no one, close your eyes for as long as you can. Step into the rain. Sit in the dark, silent, and pay close attention to everything you don't see. Take a deep breath and hold it in, then take another, and another. Don't let the buildup be for nothing, don't be selfish.
Now is not the time to argue. It's inevitable, so meet it head on. Don't waste your time feeling sorry for yourself. Don't waste time feeling sorry for yourself. It's inevitable, so meet it head on.
Focus. Breath. Inhale, exhale. What is it that I am doing, and what is it I should be.

Y'all. Kraft just erected an 8 foot tall monument to its own mayonnaise outside of Merriam Webster's HQ in Springfield in an effort to make "Moist" Merriam Webster's word of the year. It feels like an article from the fucking Onion but this is real life
